Cashmere

Hmmm... i don't think Cashmere smells like a horny teenager preparing for their date... I think it's a very wonderful, mature, unisex scent. I do think this is suitable for guys above 30, who is suave, elegant, and sophisticated. It is within the same vibe as Lanvin Avant Garde, and a perfect representation of the word cashmere scent. I don't get a harsh citrus or pink pepper, on the initial spray I get a lot of cinnamon, and maybe something resembling star anise, a bit of licorice as well.... So it begins very aromatic.... The dry down however, feels like honey-ed wood or amberwood. It's quite sweet, like honey and amber, with the undertone of tobacco. The sweetness doesn't get cloying, it's just about enough. It's scrumptious, warm like a fume-blanket that lasts around 6-8 hours. Would be perfect for autumn, and when you attend a wedding or a soiree.... So, yes, this is a love for me.

Very warm woody winter scent. Great cashmere wood scent which will get compliments. Creamy and warm but not overly spicy. The benzoin and cashmere mix to give a nice vanilla profile as well. Great performance, and will last past 8 hours but starts sitting closer to skin after that. Still, it will last you the whole day. Someone commented to me they can smell chocolate from this. I can almost agree that the creamy sweetness almost gives a chocolate feel but not quite. Maybe more like madagascar vanilla pods. Must have woody scent imo.

This is a new discovery for me. As a gourmand and amber admirer I can only say that this is one of those timeless fragrances that takes me to my happy place. Its rich, spicy, a bit fruity in the opening and in the drydown it just turns into this very luxurious wood, amber resin fragrance that lingers on and on. It's a very potent fragrance, lasts easily 5-7 with a moderate sillage. It's an oily parfum with lots of high quality naturals so be careful with clothes. I am in love with this scent.

WOW, sooo good. Warm, sexy, likable, unisex but not feminine. Remembers me of something but dont know what. Maybe it got the vibes of the Boss Absolu, and those kind of scents, but i like this more. Solid performance, but if you put your nose at the spot like 2-3 times in few seconds you get noseblind, ppl need to understand this. To me more masculine than for example Angels Share and its clones

Although it is not a particularly characteristic scent, it still strikes me because it is something different than usual. Sweet, but not fruity and sugary. Whenever the smell hits my nose during the day, it fills me with joy. It’s just like its name: a soft warm cashmere that gently and gently surrounds you. .

This is delicious!!! It smells like a boozy apricot cobbler, spiced with cinnamon and clove. It’s grounded by leather and woods, which keeps it from being overly sweet, and keeps it in the unisex realm; a completely unisex gourmand. Perfect for autumn!

Nicer (and cheaper) version of Naxos. This has an effervescent "zing" to it coming from the pepper that really pulls you in! Good stuff for the price👌

#977 in my "Tour de Fragrance" I am not a fan of any cinnamon and clove combination that I've tried thus far, and this is that. Cinnamon belongs on toast, and everything I've gotten with a cinnamon note I've given away. I also don't like anise, chocolate and licorice in my scents. But that aside, I'm beginning to think that what I'm going to end up saying about every Franck Boclet scent is, "It's okay, nothing special, overpriced for what you're getting." This has a similar vibe to original Paco Rabanne "1 Million", Armaf "Tag Him Prestige", "Armaf Club de Nuit Man", "Halloween Man", Avon "Mesmerize Black", English Laundry "Windsor", Ted Lapidus "Pour Homme Gold Extreme." (Am I the only one that's noticed "Extreme" always means "mediocre?"), Philip Plein "No Limits." All scents I've given away. But if you like any of those you'll probably be fine with this. This just smells cheap to me, which if this were priced around $40 is what I'd expect, but it's more than twice that. Cinnamon, cedar, clove, a leather note like uncured hide. They really didn't need all this benzoin in a clove and cinnamon scent. Some think they are smelling tobacco. I get it, because the pipe tobacco my dad used was laced with clove. Some tobaccos have amaretto, toasted nuts, maple, orange, citrus. But these are the notes from Boclet: grapefruit, litsea cubeba (that's a lemony plant extract the Taiwanese use in traditional medicine as a "mood elevator"), leather, spices, wood and amber. No tobacco guys. It's an EDP in performance and really persistent on clothing. It does improve, for me anyway, as all that clove and cinnamon fades. But I wouldn't inflict this on anyone in a tight space. Pretty old school. I'm surprised it was created in 2017, not 2007 or even 1987. If you labeled this dad juice you wouldn't be wrong. This is for guys 40+, which admittedly I am, but I don't have to smell like it. This won't be a bottle buy for me.

My first taste of Franck Boclet. Pros; Rich, deep spicy fragrance, with multiple ingrediencies striking almost instantaneously. You're almost lost in it. Cons; However, festivities evaporates within the half an hour or so along with it smell. I haven't seen such short longevity at any price range. Very disappointing especially considering the price point , certainly not something you'd expect from a niche Brand. Also , after first 10-15 second, ingredients begin to set , certain ones pop up and disturb the balance. All symphony begin to show its similarities to other far less expensive fragrances on the market. Might not be suitable for men younger than 50 y.o Certainly cannot justify it especially when it makes no sense to apply this perfume when its almost completely gone by the time you step out of the house.

This is very sweet. And the overall combination of ambery notes gives the illusion of coffee. It is a ok for me.

One of the Reviewers asked - another year passed and still no review? Well I believe that in this case it is for a reason. What do we expect from a niche perfume? Probably different things, but among others that they will not smell like a scent for a horny teenager preparing for their date. Here we go - niche brand yet a scent which is totally average, colorless and which smells like everything and anything. I think that niche noses/houses are obliged to offer us what we don't find on a retail chain shelve - that's why they are the niche ones. The noses have more time to work on a scent and they are not in the vicious commercial chain cycle. Cashmere is not the case, this is a totally bland perfume aspiring to be something else.

A dark yellowish color that generally smelled like drying glue on wet cardboard to me. It started to settle and got a bit better 30 minutes in as the leather and amber moved through the scent palette. All told it was about a 45 minute scent experience with a few fleeting touches of spice before it completely disappearing. gone and so am I.

I received a sample of this one in a niche fragrance store in Karlovy Vary in Czech Republic. When I wanted to try it, I discovered there was just a few drops left but it was thick like honey and I could hardly spray it. It was like pure oil on my skin. So there is what I smelled: Gourmand, oily, caramel, vanilla, woody (cedar?), rotten fruits, and a fresh background to counter balance all the warm notes listed before. This fresh note could be patchouli, eucalyptus, camphor or mint or a mix of those because it is subtle. Not bad but too thick sweet and gourmand for me. Nevertheless I like the fresh and woody parts in it. After a few minutes of wear, I feel tonka bean in it.

This brand is unknown to most people in my country and absent on perfumery shelves, so I had to order some samples from France. Cashmere is likable and a soft scent, but a bit blunt composition. I get though some resemblence with TF black orchid. IMO the drydown is where Cashmere shines. The opening is solely led by pink fruits (not pink pepper), and strangely a leather accord. After that the ambroxan and cashmeran takes over and gives the scent its personality to the dry down.

It’s a sensual woody-citrus oriental masterpiece. The opening sparkles with bright grapefruit and litsea cubeba, leading to a sweet heart of leather and spices. The drydown unveils a rich blend of amber and woods, exuding elegance, softness and warmth. A seductive and refined fragrance, perfect for cooler weather. The performance is excellent, with great longevity and a moderate sillage that feels intimate yet noticeable. A beautifully smooth and elegant fragrance!

This opens with citrus (not much grapefruit though) and amber sweetness with sprinkled cinnamon starts at 30 min and goes for a couple of hours. And at the fifth hour, it turns to skin scent while chemical note (Cashmeran) takes the lead. Go at least four sprays. It does not project much. Bright enough for daytime use. I was excited at first two tests but that chemical note Cashmeran is a no-no. Thankfully it is obvious only after four hours.

I get Armani's Stronger With You Intensely vibes from this, and Margiela's By the Fireplace as well. It's sweet and leathery at the same time. It would be redundant to get this if you have either of the fragrances I just mentioned.

Not good, not bad, just average. A mix similar to many. No niche quality to it. I find it very sweet and warm, and surprisingly smooth for what it is.

Gourmand tabac. Leaning toward Pure Havane and Naxos.
