Chameleon

Chameleon is an absolute love. Soft,enveloping floral scent with a citrusy hints, opening is gorgeous. Tuberose is not suffocating and to my nose ligering presence of gentle rose water is detectable.More feminine leaning and so beatuful. Cant stop smelling it!!! I can not belive how this is not hyped.

First impression and I like this fragrance. The fragrance is nice enough but definitely not the LOVE I hoped it might be. In all honesty, I was braced for Chameleon to perform in a more objectionable manner. The other offerings in the "Rock 'n Riot" line are beastly and most unusual. But to my nose, Chameleon develops as a pleasant, wearable, diaphanous and ethereal fragrance. Chameleon opens with a cool, clean citrus burst. Yet, the petit-grain note steals the show with its uber-green, minimally bitter and extremely aromatic characteristics. This perfume's opening notes are earthy and fragrant. And the opening notes quickly blend with a lovely but EXTREMELY FAINT, mixed floral accord...tuberose yes and jasmine certainly. In short time, the almond, sandalwood and musk create a smooth, creamy accord that is thirsty and dry, certainly not lactonic in any way. This perfume develops in an arid, parched and dusty smooth manner...velvety really. Chameleon lands as an airy, dry, smooth, powdery, musky, woody, floral fragrance. Became a skin-scent within 30-45 minutes upon application. Despite this house's reputation for bombastic & unique niche fragrances, Chameleon is a relatively easy wear. Disappointing for me is the duration, which seems poor and silage, which is non-existent. Within 30 minutes after initial application, I felt the fragrance was gone.

I did not expect this to be this good. Slightly familiar but not similar to any specific fragrance. I like the almond, it is not the gourmand vanilla almond trend we have today, but a greener, spicy, biz marzipany almond. Also the white floral, creamy greenness that is the same type I love in Calyx by Clinique. That being said, the whole vibe is quite retro but with rounded edges and more harmony.

Generic & overly sweet. Petitgrain is barely detectable. I do get some indolic-ness from the tuberose & jasmine, but overall too generic & sweet, and not very long lasting. It's $80 on Fragrancebuy and I paid $60 after applying some credits and I am still mad. Overall it's disapponting and the bottle is such an eyesore. Update: I take it back, this is very long lasting, but I just don't like the scent.

I love this! The fresh citruses with the tuberose and almond combo just smells so damn good. I had to buy a bottle even though I’m typically not a big fan of this house but this is the exception. I will be paying more attention to their upcoming releases now. It doesn’t remind me of anything I’ve ever tried. I think it’ll smell even better once the weather warms up.
