Nirvana

A fragrance that doesn’t follow conventional structure. Instead, it carries a strong sense of tension, combining tropical fruit with an oriental woody base. The opening centers on basil and citrus. It feels bitter and slightly spicy, like herbs heated under strong sunlight, releasing a humid green aroma with a touch of acidity. In the heart, mango and plum appear, but not in the form of sweet fruit flesh. The fruitiness leans more toward tartness, with a fibrous texture. The mango in particular has a slightly unripe, green character, echoing the faint bitterness of grapefruit. Occasionally a trace of jasmine emerges within the fruit notes, though the overall impression remains far from soft. The drydown introduces sandalwood and cedar, bringing warmth to the woody base. Amber and benzoin add a creamy smoothness to the composition. Musk and civet are present but extremely subtle—more like a faint suggestion that appears and disappears, something easy to miss if your nose isn’t particularly sensitive. The fragrance doesn’t follow a clearly defined structure. Instead it feels more like a convergence of fruit, wood, and amber elements in a kind of controlled disorder. Each layer seems to push against the others while also supporting them, creating a complex, slightly asymmetrical beauty.

Although it is a tropical perfume and the notes look very summery, this is a heavy perfume and I would not pick it for summer months. At first, it is very heavy on basil and cedar, all those fruits shine through and it dries down softer, to a more pleasant perfume. I don't really understand this, it's just not harmonious to me, it seems everything is in this. Pass.-
