Pure Homme

I've seen several different note breakdowns and category classifications for this fragrance but to my nose this smells like a creamy blue aromatic and spicy marine scent. You get a burst of citrus in the opening but there is an ever present thick and rich woody creaminess that rounds out the scent profile. It evokes a soapy like aquatic-ness that leaves you smelling fresh and clean. Love it.

Just sprayed it in my hand right now, it smells clean, citrusy, soapy deodorant-ish, shower gel type of scent, great for spring and summer, versatile, you can wear it casual as well as formal, but you can wear it all year around if you really want, not offensive at all, but to be honest it reminds me a little bit of sauvage but not as synthetic and potent, again great cheap designer scent that smells more expensive than it costs but nothing groundbreaking but it's just my taste in fragrances so it really depends on your own taste. Scent 8/10 Longevity 9/10 (it did last longer than I expected for a freshie like 6-8 hrs) Sillage 7/10 (it projects for 1 foot but it does go strong for 1hrs) Overall 8/10 and I would recommend for anyone and any age.

Right off the first spray, yep. They're going for Azzaro's Chrome from 1996. As the opening fades, it takes on a different shape, but still maintains that clean, musky and soapy feel. Also, Chrome EDT is not discontinued as someone below said. It's a favorite of mine. I don't have my old bottle from the early 2000s anymore, but I bought one a few years ago, and it was just as I remembered. Anyway, I like this one, but I would choose the original Chrome over this 10 out of 10 times, and you can get Chrome for cheap at discounters, so that would be my suggestion. It has better longevity and projection than this one as well.

It's like Chrome (the original EdT) by Azzaro had a baby with Platinum Egoiste by Chanel. For once, fragrantica "reminds me of" is correct. This is beautiful because Chrome EdT is discontinued and was no longer smelling as its 2005 version, when I bought my first bottle. Franck Olivier lasts all day long, I'm absolutely thrilled. I still own an old bottle of Chrome EdT, but I'm obsessed with backups.

Definitely not Sauvage, this is almost a 1-1 of CHANEL'S PLATINUM EGOISTE!!! If you know about Franck Olivier, you know the quality for the price is insane, enjoy peeps!!!
