273 Rodeo Drive

This is primarily a tuberose sweet scent that is heavier on the tuberose than the peach - in the first hours of wear. Later, as this perfume moves into the heart of the fragrance, the middle peach notes emerge and it is totally gorgeous on the skin. I love this perfume. It is really special - and the peach notes are what separate this perfume from the other tuberose perfumes that I've tried. This is totally gorgeous - I love this perfume! The first 30 minutes to an hour of wear - this goes on like the 1980's style potent perfumes. You need to allow this some time to breathe before attending a meeting or date. It is a little over the top during the first hour of wear, but as this dries down - this becomes an irresistible perfume. Lovely, very alluring. If you are into perfumes that have tuberose and are a sweet fruity floral, this perfume checks most of the boxes. With my chemistry, 273 Rodeo Drive is much different ON - than Christian Dior's Poison or Giorgio. I wouldn't compare this with either of these perfumes. It is really its own scent. I agree with the comments that I wish I had found out about this sooner, as in the 1980's! This is one of those that really works well with my chemistry! A LOVE! ------------- Although I truly LOVE this fragrance, it is a little bit much for wearing to the office or to events where you may be in enclosed spaces. If you love tuberose, but need to tone it down a bit -- I recommend Rare Gold by Avon. It is a truly lovely perfume which is a bit more grounded and wears closer to the skin; it is still pretty potent the first 30-45 minutes of wear, so this may be one that you'd want to spritz a half hour before you plan on being at your meeting or on a date. (273 launches off the skin and wears much more bright and sharp - this is great on when you are going to be in a less tight space or outdoors).

This was ubiquitous at discount stores when I was a teenager and for whatever reason I assumed it was not for the likes of me. It inspired in me not even a scintilla of curiosity, only disdain. It was for someone who was both conventional and trying too hard. One of my pandemic projects is revisiting scents of my youth, including ones I rejected. I love tuberose above all else and 273 kept popping up. I’m pretty sure my teenage self would have rolled her eyes and gagged at first sniff, but who cares what she thinks. This is great! Big, brassy, old school 80’s tuberose, with a side of ripe stone fruits and a glass of Pinot Grigio. For the first half hour, I swear I get white wine notes which I attribute to grapey-jasmine. I even caught my husband giving me the side-eye after I applied it this morning, so other people pick up the booze notes too. As this dries down, I get more powdery iris and spices but the tuberose and gardenia are there throughout. Occasionally I get wafts of fruity but non-sweet cocoa powder. Other times, it smells rather soapy. Overall it’s a great scent that morphs continuously as you wear it. If you love classic, bold tuberose scents check this out. It certainly doesn’t smell conventional anymore. If you prefer subtle scents, this will not be your jam. There are probably a lot of people who would hang the “old lady” tag on this one, but who cares what they think anyway.

Yes! I finally got a bottle! This was my first perfume I REALLY fell for in 1989. It is so passionate of a scent. I love gardenia and tuberose so much I feel they are sexy together. It used to linger for hours but I'm finding myself reapplying every 4 hours which is not good. This lasts on clothes longer than the skin. But Ooooooh la la it's a sexy lush vavooooom type of scent. At first it's very strong and a tad indolic ( which I loathe) but it fades into a Aussie hair spray grape fruity, soapy kinda coconut (even though it's not listed) sexy scent. It's luscious. Delicious. Almost forbidden. It does seem a little different than it was in 1989. It fades faster and the dry down is unpleasant. It's not as refined and powdery as it once was but it's still wonderful and I am happy to own a bottle again. Finding a lost love feels like I found a treasure I longed for. This scent evokes so many memories of me and my older sister. We don't speak anymore ... but I think of her when I smell this and I always will. This is a high class in a bottle. Never thought I would say this but this is not for teeny bopper girls or immature teenagers. This is a powerhouse of a scent for mature women that knows what she wants. Mmmm is so warm and ambery with the white flowers and sandalwood so seductive. This is a must have for me. It's to die for! So creative and yes it smells like Elena from AlRehab.

I smelled this on a coworker one day and was thinking, it doesn’t smell fancy or expensive but it smells amazing. Luxurious, ingredient-wise I mean. I couldn’t make out the notes or the fragrance but it smelled to me like creamy coconut but not the obnoxious chemical kind. It smelled real, like sunscreen too and expensive shampoo. Just gorgeous. I had to ask what it was and she smiled before she told me. She’s probably gotten a lot of compliments which is understandable. It’s been a while since I’ve been impressed by a fragrance and it’s always a vintage and this is no exception. I wear this to work (lightly) and it lasts for HOURS and before bed. It is so lovely that it has a relaxing effect. I don’t think this fragrance can’t be worn today. It just smells like you got out of the shower, clean, but not fresh like lemon, fresh like a nice body lotion or shampoo. I LOVE this and hope I’ll always have it in my collection :) Edit: I know the list doesn’t show any coconut but something is translating to my brain that way. Anyways it’s very creamy and floral. Absolutely gorgeous and lasts for HOURS. Note: I mix this with a sweet vanilla (I use Vanilla Seduction) and it’s heavenly :3

273 starts with a beautiful blast of spicy peach. It dries down to a warm spicy sandalwood/jasmine with a faint tuberose base. Hours and hours later there's a hint of floral amber clinging to my skin. It's just delicious on me and my very favorite daytime scent. I just can't get enough of it. It drys down to a lovely floral that's smells like a woman - not a girl. I can wear it day or night. It makes me feel powerful. My husband gives it an 8. I had the good luck of being able to try this scent before it was released in 1989. My good friend worked as a chemist where it was produced and he sent me a vial. He didn't know what the name was or anything about it. I went crazy for it and it was my signature daytime scent all through the 90's. It'a definitely a strong scent and it takes a strong, confident personality to wear it. Everyone loved it on me. Rarely did a day go by that someone didn't ask me what my fantastic perfume was.I got away from it for years because of some of the memories it brought back, but I've recently gotten a bottle and fallen in love with it all over again.

This scent truly is Outrageous Shampoo by Revlon from the 1990's! But only after it dries down a bit, say 20+ minutes. As it settles, there is such a wonderful juiciness from the plum and the peach. Not overly sweet either. Non-descript white floral dominate (that's the gardenia and tuberose) and then I start to smell a very ripe, almost dried apricot along with a mild spiciness from the pepper and ylang (ylang smells a little peppery to me). I agree with gtabasso that the fruits sweeten the fragrance like nectar, but does not add too much sweetness. Definitely from another era, this one, and that is why I love it. For the price point, you cannot go wrong if you love 90's Florals with a fruity background. If you enjoy Mackie, Amarige, Poison, Diamonds & Emeralds, and the original Giorgio and Red by Giorgio, give 273 for women a test drive. You can usually find it at discounters for under $15.00 for a 1.7 oz bottle. I bought my 1.7oz bottle at Ross for Less for $13.00.

273. I remember buying a bottle as a young girl in college. I was always into buying the more sophisticated scents, as I would be clubbing around Beverly Hills and Malibu, and there was a certain status to uphold. The tuber rose and gardenia with the plummy fruits was just something else, yet never veered into cloying. It did however go right to the edge of "too much blvd" but diddnt cross it. It has a very alpha female vibe to it, like Poison. This is a stronger floral oriental like Ysatis.. There is a lot going on here and it smells expensive. If Ysatis and Poison had a baby and eased up on the powerhouse punch a little.. thats 273..the best of both worlds. Its always been a favorite of mine, underrated and forgotten now, but I've always had men chasing me when I wore 273....The address of Fred Haymans found on Rodeo Drive. (and yes, Ive been there) Suspiciously..its notes read like an inverted Giorgio...hummm

I can’t believe I haven’t reviewed this yet!! This has been a favorite of mine for decades! What an absolute masterpiece! She’s a powerhouse for sure-bold, confident, sexy, feminine. You definitely have to be a white floral lover! I certainly am! This is probably in my top 10 of all time! Personally, I don’t think this is a vintage smelling fragrance, I think it’s a timeless beauty. It reminds me of Kate Spade Live Colorfully (maybe sunset) a bit ,Shahd from Lattafa, or Narcisco Rodriquez Ambre among others! So, obviously it’s a scent profile that continues to be popular! I’ve yet to find one as good as this! If you have chemistry where fragrances don’t last long, try this! It will linger forever! The price is also fantastic for such a rich, long lasting fragrance! It smells exactly as I remember from the 90s! I’ll always have this in my collection!

Sunny, affordable, Dior Poison like. Deep. Juicy seductive. Oh, that plum! The inner flesh. Green not purple. Like the flesh of a wonderful round plump juicy grape that you pop into your mouth and bite into and swallow in one tiny little satisfying gulp. But this isn't a one hit wonder. Very womanly, mature, (meaning, not a sugar plum fairy/teeny bopper, early to mid 20s) nah.. This is a sophisticated lady with experience. She's got wisdom AND RHYTHM! Ylang ylang, sandalwood, amber and spice kick in and start to switch the atmosphere. It almost smells like suede. I love the plum the best. But overall, this develops well. I love how the notes aren't all meshed in together, making them unrecognizable. This one has a story. I'm interested in trying more perfumes from this line!

I love the sweet sticky honey poison smell of this one. I wish I had it in 1989. But all I could afford was exclamation & sand n Sable. I know I've smelled this. It reminds me of big hair & popularity. I love it. I have an old small bottle that I got from an estate sale w the red cap. But today I was in an old thrift store & there was an empty yellow & gold bottle w some sticky residue so I rubbed that on & holy crap it smelled exactly like sweet honey. It was even better than mine which is vintage & older. So now I need to buy a triangular yellow bottle instead of the small red cap travel size i have. It reminds me so much of poison or the 5.6.9 store in the mall they used to have, I imagine valley girls wore this along w jordache, gorgio style purfumes

How could I have been such a fool?! I've spent many (recent) years and money searching for gorgeous, masterpiece fragrances but was often disappointed. Not that they weren't "nice" but they certainly weren't masterpieces. Bored with the present, I recently started collecting fragrances from the 80s and 90s and, one after the other, they bowl me over! This is the magic I was hunting for. It was always there. 273 Rodeo Drive has that magic, like Poeme and so many others. The magic which is so hard to find in current perfumes. This bright but sumptuous, yellow sunshine in a bottle. This is my dream. It is really something special when you find your genre of perfumes. Like coming home for the holidays. Just magic.

I am so aware of "273 Rodeo Drive" from the eighties when I was a teenager. My father bought it for my mother and I always enjoyed the scent of it on her, knowing that it was a more adult fragrance. However, just the other day my sister went to her walk in closet and spritzed something on her clothing that made me feel happy and smelled familiar. When I asked what it was and she said "273 Rodeo Drive" I said "Ahhh!" in pleasure. Smelling it again made me want to buy my own, which I will do quite soon. Mum still has a small amount from way back then and it continues to not disappoint. A harmonious and beautiful medley, is "273 Rodeo Drive." I love its nod to luxury and stardom. I do enjoy it, then and now.

Wow...! 273 Rodeo Drive is a BIG fragrance, a blast from the past... Rich, dark, and peachy/plummy, with warm spices and heavy, heady florals -- mostly tuberose -- it has a similar sumptuous depth as Rochas Femme, sans oakmoss and cumin. It does bear a resemblance to Carolina Herrera's original fragrance, but it's fruitier, spicier, and a little less dry than CH. It brings to mind the richness of paintings by Titian, scenes from Renaissance Venice, or caravans on the old Silk Road... It's a scent that probably only vintage lovers would love. But if you love Rochas Femme, Carolina Herrera, and the like, it's a gorgeous bargain; I think my bottle was around $10 on FragranceNet.

A beautiful, unmistakably and unabashedly feminine scent! It reminds me of Poison a lot- only sweeter, less aromatic, and more animalic. It’s also a lot like a darker and stickier version of Amarige. It’s been toned down a bit since the 1990s, but it’s still a head-turner. The tuberose, jasmine, and gardenia can get really raunchy and indolic in warmer weather- similar to Alien or Lust by Lush. Cooler weather calms this down, but thankfully it doesn’t stop it completely. The dry down on my skin reminds me a lot of those huge graham crackers made with honey 😂 Overall, I love it and will almost certainly be buying a larger bottle once I finish my current one 🥰

I bought this because I read many reviews saying that it smelled just like Revlon Outrageous shampoo from the 90’s. It does smell like Outrageous, but it smells really similar to the original Kim Kardashian perfume to me. It’s better though, smells more expensive and less screechy and synthetic than the Kim K. Heavy on the tuberose, it’s like if Kim K, Gio by Giorgio Armani, and Sand and Sable had a baby😆. Since I happen to like all of those, this was a great blind buy for me. It’s a heavy 80’s scent though! I feel like I need to wear a jacket with shoulder pads and break out the Aqua net hairspray to wear it....just kidding, but I give it a thumbs up!

273 layers so nicely with sandalwood & vanilla. It's very sweet, and if you find it too much so, try cutting it with a crisper white flower and light musk. This is a juicy, sparkling, fruity bouquet where the slightly oily plum comes in quite strongly (on my skin). It's very reminiscent of TBS Ananya oil but less spicy, less sharp. This is one of my favorites, although, either it isn't as long lasting for me as for others, or I've doused myself in it to the point of dulling my ever-white & yellow-floral-craving senses. I still love it!

Solo puedo decir que la magia de los perfumes de los 80' y 90' la generación de los 2000' solo la sueñan... y 273 rodeo drive de F.H. no es la excepción, es una explosión de nardos y jazmines fusionados con ciruelas: simplemente exquisita! Es una bomba al olfato de cualquier persona y si, es un perfume vintage que pasa la prueba del cigarrillo indudablemente. Yo soy AMANTE de esas aromas a mis 43 años de edad y aunque digan que huelen a "vieja" yo digo que las narices jóvenes NO están preparadas para tal magia olfativa!

A love of mine from the start! I've worn it from the very 1st release & this unbelievable scent has garnered more compliments than I could even begin to count. She envelopes you with the most beautiful fruity floral essence. The woody warm dry down is so lovely.. The longevity & sillage is very good. Blended so well. Why has she been discontinued??? A treasure from Fred Hayman aka Mr. Beverly Hills & Rodeo Drive. I like to think it was made just for me...lol 😉💋 I'll buy it as long as I can find it...forever a love.💛

Exceptionally Great! This is one of my favorite "finds" - this year! LOVE this one! Perfect for early spring - the tuberose is a bright, clear chord. Beautiful on -- wears well! This works really well with my chemistry! LOVE this! -------------- If you like tuberose perfumes - I would also try Madonna's Truth or Dare Perfume and Fracas. These are two of my other favorite tuberose perfumes. I would also look at Avon's Rare Gold - if you are needing something that wears more sophisticated and business-like.

Love it. It does smell a lot like Caroline Herrera almost a twin. I wore Caroline this past day and now Fred Hayman and they smell the same in the heavy, loud and very strong white flower vibe. The Herrera is more sophisticated and the Hayman is more cheap smelling. But by leaking the money for the Herrera the Hayman is a very good substitute. Although you really have to like the heavy flower because it's definitely old fashioned but i like the oldies. Both lasts a long time with good projection. ♥️

What a beautiful fragrance! The peach / plum and spicy base notes are a great combination. Very creamy, not a dry fragrance (like opium) - if that makes sense. I recommend it if you like maybe samsara amirage or loulou. Its one of those powerful 80's/90's scents that fill up the room. But it is not dated. I'd smelt it on many people over the years and finally found what the fragrance was. Its sexy but still business like, a sexy alpha female type fragrance. I highly recommend this.

Beverly Hills, what a thrill! Ok, I bought this as there are many reviews indicating 278 is a dupe for the iconic 90s Revlon Outrageous shampoo. She’s a spicy peach, tuberose bomb with a hint of animalic stank. A bit camphoric. It’s busy! A typical 80s fragrance for $10/1 oz. Loud and in charge. Cue your inner extravert! You may not be impressed at first. Give it a few minutes and the Outrageous will come out.

Absolutely love! My dear friend bought me this scent as a gift- instantly fell in love! This is defo for a vintage loving girly who wants to smell like a tarot reader's shop! I wore this to work, and I couldn't believe it was still as strong as it was 6 hours after initial application. If you hate reapplying like it do, this is a fantastic summer goth scent for you!

This was one of my favorites from a long time ago. I have a mini 273 in my shadowbox and I for some reason grabbed it today and put it on. It spicy and fruity and warm just perfect! 273 does remind me a bit of Tresor but without Tresor's sparkling notes. I think I am going to put my mini back on the shelf and get a full size! It is that good!

I could tell when I took it out of the box it was going to be good and strong. It’s that gorgeous amber color from days gone by in perfumery. This is a close enough dupe for Revlon Outrageous to me. It lasts. People love it! Not a typical fruity floral. I still have The Body Shop Ananya to compare it to, but this is 90% close.

This is a well composed perfume, my mother still owns one and I tell you it has raw sillage power, when you want to be noticed you wear a fragrance like 273. I like it alot, but its not for the faint of heart. Mainly It's a sensual affair and for me, I get the bottom notes the best. Not for young girls though. Love

I can't see this anymore..Loved it..Yes, it IS very sexy..I gave my last bottle of this to my mom's friend who loved it on me..I didn't feel it was an old or cheap smell..I thought it smelled divine.. Second comment--She told me she dropped and broke the entire bottle :-(( and her bedroom smelt lovely for months!!

Wow!! Usually I spray quite a few times, and it's all good. Two sprays of this baby almost knocked me off my feet! This is a powerhouse!! But let it dry down, and it's lovely. This will have to be a weekend scent for me though. I wouldn't dare wear this to work!

It smells like Gio Giorgio Armani (already discont) which has a strong character. After a while it smells manly a bit. Women with flamboyant personality and high self esteem will suit this. Dont underestimate its classicness.. timeless.

A great and rich fragrance !!! I do love so much ! Oriental, strong, delicious: warm comfort in a bottle ! And the price: ridiculous ! Try it, it is fabulous. Very good longevity and sillage: it is a winner !!!

Huge floral, even the modern version. It's all about the tuberose and ylang. Very sweet and not fruity like today's florals. The fruits just sweeten the pot like floral nectar.

I love this perfume, especially for crisp, carefree Cascadian summer days. This is uncomplicated (in a good way), feminine, happy perfume for me. It is interesting to know that this scent generates different things to different people. Some say this is a power perfume, others say strongly sexy. Another interesting thing about it, personally, is that I'm not a big fan of peachy scent but I like peachy fruity mix in this perfume. White floral of this scent gives me an impression of daytime brightness, not nightly white floral. Floral and fruity are well balanced. As the spicy base is not overpowering, I can easily wear it during daytime. Some can say it is a loud type of perfume. I can say it is jovial. I like to wear it for outdoorsy occasion, for example late afternoon to sunset beach. Maybe because this is a "travel scent" to me. I've got it first time on the first day of my honeymoon trip in a rather rushing manner, by popping in a perfume shop since I did not bring ANY perfume at all. What a careless newly-wed I was (lol). I still remember alfresco lunch nearby the perfume shop just after wearing it by one splash. I was happy I smelled nicer and tastier the food was TG.:)

Interesting fragrance. I found a vintage bottle by accident (with the gold rim between the cap and bottle) in a vintage lot of other miscellaneous fragrances. I’d remembered this one when a review below compared it to Serge Lutens Cedre. *That* perfume is sublime. I was a bonafide perfumista in the 1980s during the reign of Poison, Giorgio of Beverly Hills, Obsession, and others. This one clearly passed under my radar, and it was my loss. It’s the abundance of yellow flowers that give off the Poison vibe to many reviews, but it lacks the plummy darkness of OG Poison. It also doesn’t have the blast of tuberose and oak moss of Giorgio. I wore this earlier today and it had an amazing dry down. In the evening I applied more and got the white and yellow blast. It’s a bit linear but also a solid goodie with a delicious foundation and dry down. Be sure to get a vintage one off eBay, even if it’s partially used. the vintage formulation has great bones. Rating: 8/10

Well, this was one of these, 'what the heck, I like tuberose and spice, I'll try it' buys. It's wonderfully strong. I love the peachy tuberose smell; it gives a beautiful sweet scent. I had just received by 'blind buy' Jessica Simpson Fancy Nights and Queen Latifah .... and I must say that 273 Rodeo drive in comparison to those two .... is so much more fragrance and has so much more depth, so lush and creamy ... and smells so much more expensive. It's a beautiful sweet floral smell. The tuberose is quite strong, but I love it!!!! After a while, it's toned down by the amber. It's so much nicer than the new 'sweet' scents. It reminds me a bit of Madonna truth or dare, but a bit spicier. It's much nicer than Chloe Narcisse, which is similar, but harsh compared to this one. It's quickly becoming one of my favourite. Very classy.

This perfume's been on my radar for a while, and today I finally received that much desired bottle. The following review is for the pure perfume of unknown age. Sweet and spicy, 273 is very nice indeed. Unisex and even a little masculine because of what seems to be a sweet tobacco note, although the pyramid doesn't show it. Sadly, I don't get any fruits at all, but the amber is strong. Lasting power is good, but the sillage is average. Unless somebody takes a bath in it, 273 should be safe for work. The bottle with the triangular top is a bit unstable, at least for somebody with butterfingers like me. The point's a bit sharp, something to keep in mind if one wants to slip it into a fabric lined purse.

I bought 273 based on reviews mentioning its similarity to my beloved Ananya by The Body Shop. While 273 is very very very close, there is an insistent white floral note - probably tuberose - in 273 that was absent in Ananya that I don't love; it makes me think of Sebastian Shaper hairspray. I've worn 273 a handful of times now, and after a few hours, this note either disappears completely, or is all I can smell. I'll probably wear this occasionally despite that note. I must comment on how lovely the packaging is - it comes in an adorable tented box, with the bottle itself wrapped in red tissue paper. Unexpectedly delightful for a bargain buy.

I have tasted it yesterday and well, what a surprise, this is a huge perfum. The start is so huge, the longevity is so huge and the sillage too. The price is very good and the aroma is so nice, very girly, very fresh, yummy and floral. I have tested for checking if would be a great gift for my sister and I am betting she will be so happy, she likes this type of perfumes. I have to add that this perfume reminds me to Carolina Herrera (the clasic). Yes it has the 80s in the veins but this does not make it a old fragrance, actually I feel this is a good option for women with strong personality!

Wow this truly does smell like Outrageous shampoo though that was discontinued like 15 years ago here but it definitely brought back memories - I also get a touch of Flex shampoo - if anyone knows something that smells like original Flex I would love to know. For Johnsons no more tears shampoo I can wear Jovan Musk just an FYI for those who like shampoo scents. I bought this blind based on notes and reviews alone and it is AMAZING fresh, vibrant but sexy too the sandalwood really warms up the shampoo notes I do detect a hint of Giorgio - must be the Tuber-rose. All in all a wonderful scent.

I own this and Al Rehab Elena. These are definitely twin scents. If you want this just for the scent purchase Al Rehab Elena. I wanted this for the scent and for the bottle. This is so sweet ...Like thick purple syrup oozing from hot pink bubble gum colored tropical flowers. Takes me back to the 80s and 90s... if TV had smellovision I think Robert Palmers addicted to Love would have smelled like 273. Longevity 10 Silage 10 Very feminine in my opinion. Playful but bold.

testing from a vintage vial. this opens with stone fruits, first i sense peach/apricot, but that gives way to a heavy dose of plum. the fruits smell almost like dried fruits/fruit leathers, and i think it's possibly amber and orris giving that effect. the tuberose blooms along with some woods. this is fruity but dry. very different than modern fruity florals- heavier, more dense. perfect for cold weather.

I bought this, but, ultimately, I felt it didn't suit me. So I gave it to my teenage daughter and it smells wonderful on her. It smells sharp and exciting and a bit off-beat.

Estou toda derretida por este aqui!, essa saída já é toda galanteadora, sinto praticamente todas as notas dela, mas como a saída não dura tanto tempo, não há nada nela que fique mais na minha pele (infelizmente). Depois sinto o damasco e o Ylang, o damasco parece muito o desidratado (vi alguém falando que lembra pêssego em calda mas só sinto algo que lembra isso na saída), não sei se meu olfato está saturado mas parece que há algo de pimenta nele, essa é a única nota que me remete a especiarias da construção. No final do pronunciamento ela fica talcado, um talco que parece pó de maquiagem antiga e com nuance bem seca, essa sensação é amadeirada, pó de madeira de móveis. A longevidade da fragrância na pele é muito boa, dormi e acordei com o cheiro do final do perfume, só a sillage que não achei tão bombástica como imaginei (só é durante a saída).

Huge, sweet, fruit-laden and spicy-flowery. A lot of bang for your bucks, a hidden gem that could surely be a hit with many. It was a little too much for me but my little sister (who hardly likes any perfumes) loved it so it got a happy new home!

This is a big floral that starts with a screamingly loud tuberose. It is very much of its time of the big, heady, floral overload that proceeded you by several rooms wherever you went. Even fragrances like Poison had nothing on this baby. This is the queen of big floral fragrances with silage that beats Poison by a mile. Hell, even Giorgio Beverly Hills is sedate by comparison! I can't wear this. I'm not a wallflower, but this is too extravagant and extroverted even for me. I would feel too self-conscious and uncomfortable wearing it. If this were toned down, even to the level of Carolina Hererra, which some have compared it, I might have loved it because it does smell beautiful. I even tried dabbing it on, but it still smelled as if I drenched myself in perfume. Unlike a lot of fragrances from the era of the big perfume, I don't think this made the transition to our time very well. It's too big, too dated, and too perfumy. If I had my way, this would be relegated to perfume history, as I really never want to wear it again, but that wouldn't be fair to all the people who love these humongous floral fragrances as you can see by its many fans on this page. I'm just not one of them, so this is a pass for me.
