I used to be a big fan of Frédéric Malle. I had more than 20 bottles from the brand. But as time went on, I started to feel that the brand became boring. The prices also went up a lot, and they kept changing the formulas, which made the quality worse. That really broke my heart. Also, since I now work in the perfume industry, I’ve learned a lot more about fragrances. So I didn’t enjoy this brand as much as before. In the end, I sold all of my bottles and only kept Vetiver Extraordinaire. I told myself that I probably wouldn’t buy anything from this brand again. I first smelled this perfume earlier this year in Milan. I was in an Acne Studios shop with my friend. He was choosing a scarf, and I was just looking around. Then I saw this perfume bottle, so I sprayed it to try. Before that, I ignored this perfume. I read the notes and thought it sounded basic. I even laughed a little that Mr. Frédéric Malle made a perfume that felt so trendy. That whole year, I had no interest in trying it. Also, a lot of influencers I don’t like gave it high praise, so I didn’t pay attention to it at all. But that day, it surprised me. At first, I thought the perfume was soft and smooth. It felt clean and very comfortable ,better than many perfumes in the same style. Of course, perfumes like this are usually very synthetic, but I could actually feel the scent changing over time. That was surprising, because perfumes like this are usually Linear and don’t change much. Normally, I don’t enjoy this kind of scent but that day, I strangely liked it. Still, the price was too high, so I didn’t buy it yet. A few months later, I smelled it again. this time in my country. It still gave me the same feeling. Soft, smooth, easy to wear, and it lasts really well. I took some time to think, and finally decided to buy it. In my collection, I already have many perfumes that are hard for people to understand. So it’s nice to have something easy to enjoy, something people can like right away. Even though this one feels modern, it still has an artistic feeling to it. It really feels like something Mr. Frédéric Malle would make. That made me feel a little sad that he’s no longer part of the brand. I’m happy that I could enjoy something from this brand again — even though it might be my last bottle from Frédéric Malle. I hope Mr. Malle starts a new brand soon. If he does, I’ll definitely follow his work again.

Haters gonna hate (mostly for the price, it’s ridiculous for what it is, I agree) but for me it was love from the first sniff. I was looking for a perfect laundry-like, fresh and cold scent and I think I enjoy Coleur Primaire the most of the ones I’ve tried (even though I’ve not yet tested Blanche and The Muse) but this.... This is more than a laundry-like clean scent. It’s sweet, it’s childish, it’s happy, it’s funny, it’s playful, it’s naive. It makes me smile for no reason. I love it. Smells like a cotton candy out in a park in winter. P.S. I’ve compared it to Stairway to Heaven, Musk Superfluide and Valaya — and to my nose Acne Studios is superior. Stairway, though pleasant, is way too sweet and powdery, slightly edible, the sweetness overshadows the aldehydes and is nauseating in warmer weather. Musk Superfluide is less airy, heavier, woodsier, soapier, I smell incense in the base, and the aldehydes here are bubbly and sweet like a soda drink. Valaya is better on a paper strip — the modern molecular part makes me nose-blind very quickly and I can’t pick up much but the screechy ‘molecules’ when I wear it, also every time I wear Valaya I develop a migraine, don’t know if that’s a coincidence or correlated. Nothing like this happens while smelling or wearing Acne Studios. Love, love, love.

Best life of freshly washed clothes! It does dry to a laundry smell but on me there’s a veeery faint thread of spice/woods that lifts it up from pure laundry soap. I got like an almost rice-y dustiness from it What’s tricky with it I think is the pull you have between capturing such a familiar, everyday household memory magnified tenfold at the cost of luxury. It smells amazing but so will I if we use fabric softener more often. But this does more than a specific fabric softener because of the sweetness it brings, but! It is clearly conveying the experience of laundry. For me it's a similar discussion on buying a plain white shirt from Uniqlo vs Beams. It's the fit and nuances that really get you but at the end of the day it's a white shirt. Not throwing shade on this because honestly that makes it an excellent fragrance because look how universal everyone’s experience of “laundry” is. We all use different soaps yes but it’s cool to me how it’s understood that this scent equals laundry. So in that regard I think they nailed it. But this is ultimately a product! A product with a price. You can absolutely just make the effort to wash with fabric softener, but also it’s (very slightly, kinda sorta) magical (ish) that you can just spray it on, and have it last for hours?

there's nothing i hate more than hearing the words "soapy", "clean" or anything along the lines of "clean bar of soap" when used to describe a fragrance, as imo it is way overdone and 99% of the time, i've never actually smelled any kind of soap that resembles the scent they're describing. however, this is the first fragrance i've smelled where the words "soapy clean" and "bar of soap" would actually accurately fit the description. this is insanely light, fresh, floral and airy, very akin to laundry detergent or maybe fabric softener but in the best way possible. it is very synthetic, but personally doesnt feel screechy or too sharp, rather very soft and smoothly blended. id describe it as an aldehydic floral, like laundry detergent with a hint of rose and an even fainter dash of peach. i tested it on card, and kept the card in my pocket and tried it again after an hour or two. the card warmed up a bit and when i smelled it, it took me back to being a kid, lying on my parents' bed as my mom dumped freshly done laundry over me, feeling the clothing surrounding me and taking in the warmth. genuinely zero flaws in terms of smell, wearable in almost any occasion. only thing holding this back is the price, would buy this instantly if it wasnt like 400$ for 100ml :/

Aldehyde bomb? Absolutely. Peaches? An abundance. Jasmine? Blossoming. Musk and vanilla? Just a hint. Good? No. It’s great! Tried it on when it came out and was not a fan. Like everyone else, smelt too much of clean laundry or those laundry sheets. Almost too feminine and young. Got a couple of compliments back to back that I thought was weird since I didn’t like it in particular. Months later decided to take it for a good drive with a nice outfit, nice weather, and good mood. My god did it change my previous thoughts of the scent. Every scent profile blends so perfectly and in harmony. Don’t get me wrong, it’s absolutely all of those things I listed at the beginning. It’s even all of those things everyone says about soap, laundry, detergent, dryer sheets, peach rings, etc. Only that in my opinion it’s done extremely well and almost ethereal. So many compliments while wearing this one. I’m male, 40, and in to the acne studios vibe in terms of outfits.

I discovered this by chance after receiving a 10ml bottle in my Space NK fragrance advent calendar. On first sniff I’m hooked. This is just a stunning complex fragrance that combines everything I love. So my most favourite thing in the world is getting in a freshly made bed. When it’s been a sunny day and your bedsheets have dried on the line, have a lovely shower then slip into bed. I’m actually blown away by how much this fragrance smells like that- it’s so long lasting that i wake up and still smell it. I wore it to work and I just got constantly asked what I’d washed my clothes in. Granted this ain’t fabric conditioner, and in the UK this is a £290 fragrance- but I’ve hinted that I’d love this as a Christmas gift from my spouse- he never gets the hint and I will probably get a another box of chocolates and a frying pan. 10 out of 10 for silage, projection, longevity and overall loveliness. By hook or by crook I will have this perfume.

I FINALLY got the chance to try this yesterday!!!!!!! I'm a huge fan of Acne Studios clothes - they are quite quirky, fresh, bohemian even! Now this fragrance is different. It's a weekend fragrance that you'd wear with your favourite pair of Acne Studios jeans whilst meeting up with friends in the winter. It's got a warm feeling of candy store mixed in with peach once the aldehyde dies down. And that's it - candy candy candy - it doesn't need anything else. Maybe it's more feminine leaning but I can still rock this. I'd love this in the colder months maybe sprayed over big soft scarves and over cashmere jumpers. That's the vibe that I'm getting or on a skiing holiday It's unique. It's warm. It's comforting. It's got a positive feeling vibe to it and I love it. It gets nicer a few hours later. It's different. It's quirky. It's a free spirit with a mind of its own and I love it!

It's raining here in the philippines now and I get it now why I like this so much. I've already reviewed why I do like this but just to add, something about this smells kind of wet and damp, but not wet socks damp, like moist and fresh like coming out of the shower wet. My bed sheets were changed recently, and although we don't have a detergent that smells like this fragrance lol, the combo the rain + humidity with the laundry soap smell, I think this scent makes me feel the warmth of snuggling up to a cozy bed with freshly changed sheets. I never thought of it as a keeper in my collection. It's kind of been my go-to fragrance recently, and it's cool that it wasn't in any of my usual fragrance wheelhouses. I'm into tonka beans, spicy brisk peppery scents, but this I think makes me feel something so warm and nice that ^none of these ever evoked in this way.

If you are not a fan of the candy-like sweet scents that all girls wear, but still want to find a scent that is sweet but sweet in a special way, sweet, elegant, neat, clean, luxurious and classy, then this is the answer. the first feeling when you spray this scent on your body is a very bright and extremely bright feeling! after the scent notes calm down it doesn't really change much and it lasts a very long time on the skin even if you wash your hands with soap you will still smell the perfume very clearly. and especially this scent brings a very youthful feeling, youthful like girls in their 20s, this scent will bring a youthful and fun look to those who try it The only downside is that it's quite scarce (for the 100ml size) and quite expensive, but it's worth it (though it would be more suitable if it were a little cheaper)

My first impression was effortlessly pretty. It opens with a soft, powdery freshness that feels modern rather than vintage. Instead of reading as cosmetic or overly floral, the powder has a clean, refined quality with a gentle warmth underneath that keeps it from feeling cold. It's understated and elegant, creating a beautiful halo rather than demanding attention. The balance between freshness, softness, and warmth gives it an intimate, skin-like presence that feels easy to wear. I'll need a full day's wear to evaluate its evolution, but the opening is polished, comforting, and quietly addictive. It's the kind of fragrance that invites people closer rather than announcing itself.

It must be the composition of ingredients that makes this last forever on my skin and clothing. Also, this scent profile doesn't come off as piercing or cheap but rather smooth. The opening can be a little "bright," but the dry down is magic. As I pointed out in my first review, I like this as a skin scent or second skin even though it wears as a full fragrance. I will pick up a bottle once I find a good price. **If someone is looking to get rid of a partial pm me.** The best luxury bubble bath/soapy, aldehydic, fabric softener. Cleanest of all clean white tee scents. After a few wears I think this is unisex, just needed to warm up to it.

This is the BEST laundry perfume ever! When I was younger I used to smell the laundry detergents in our cabinet. Back in the day the laundry detergents smelled waaaayy better than the ones you can buy now in store. This perfume smelles EXACTLY like the ones I remember and CRAVE! Amazing longevity and sillage. I have MFK724, Blanche Absolu and Love O Matic, I love them all but none of them comes close to the feeling I get from smelling this! 10/10 Ps: I have the 100ml bottle which is pretty expensive. Just get the 10ml version and save some money, because you only need max 2 sprays. 10ml = around 125 sprays ;)

I had a tester of this perfume several months ago, and I keep coming back to really wanting it. I am a Dominique Ropion devotee and I was very surprised by this lovely perfume. Is it something just so different that it really stands out. I think a lot of the clean minimalist sents out there are pretty junkie, but not this. No one does it better. At first I was really surprised and I didn’t quite know what to think but this is what it’s like: if you’ve been in an art gallery and you’ve been looking at let’s say Monet all day and then you go into the next room and there’s a Rothko. Acne is the Rothko.

Smells like straight up fabric softener. One hot day, I got a whiff of this perfume's scent trail on someone and was so drawn to it. I never thought a laundry detergent soap perfume would draw me in so much, but it smelled really good in the air. I personally like this one better than Byredo's Blanche or Blanche Absolu. I think it smells less sterile and a bit more feminine and universally likeable. If you are into laundry scents, this one's for you. Smelled and tested it on my skin at Bloomingdales. Smell: 9 out of 10 Strength: 8 out of 10 Unisex, leaning feminine For reference, I'm female.

just got my hands on this and all i can say is that i'm in love. As a aldehyde lover, this is strongest fragrance i've found as of yet that smells like fabric softner but with a very strong projection and lasting power. it's a sweet aldehydic scent that smells like laundry after taking it out of the washer. I would highly recommend only a couple sprays because its very strong, might give you a headache after spraying more than 2 sprays. 10/10 - little pricey (around $400 cad for 50ml) but the quality, longevity and projection is there to justify the price.

With Acne Studios Malle is doing his own thing, i.e. taking a classic and giving it a nice, modern (and quality) twist. Due to its peachy-lactonic core, I find the crucial inspiration to be Gucci's glorious Rush, with the foreground stemming from the aldehydic greats of White Linen, Arpegé and the you-know-which-number. As with most other Malles, it just works. Wear it, give it some time and see for yourself. This is some truly elevated laundry-detergent aura of a perfume. Timeless and - if worn sparingly by a guy, preferably on clothes - unisex.

I absolutely love this perfume- had a 10ml sample from an advent calendar and one sniff and I knew I had to have a full bottle. It is clean and very long lasting. This has quickly become my signature scent for work and I’ve just purchased my second 100ml bottle. It is strong and can be polarising if oversprayed but it smells like the best smelling laundry. It is very expensive but there are offers if you look for them and I got my second bottle for £200 from Cult beauty on a great deal they had. My first was a Christmas gift from my partner.

This is one of my favourite perfumes ever and I genuinely never want to be without a backup. I’m only posting this now after over a year of owning it and finally picking up a second bottle. To me, it’s the ultimate fresh laundry scent. It’s clean without being sharp, and soft without being boring. The mix of aldehydes, florals, and musks just works in a way that feels way more beautiful than the note list would suggest. This is one of those fragrances where you honestly can’t judge it by the notes. You have to smell it. It’s outstanding.

Sillage et tenue incroyables, vraiment une grande projection qui limite remplit une pièce, et cette fragrance performe pendant plus de 12 heures. Et reste sur peau pendant un jour, même après une bonne douche. Je sens encore légèrement son odeur après plus de 40 heures, extraordinaire. Fragrance parfaite.

Beautiful, beautiful fragrance. It quickly slid into my number one spot behind Much Ado About the Duke and Eau Premiere. I love aldehydes but I’m not particularly into “clean girl” vibes. I like a little mystery with my linen crispness. This is classic and original at once. It changes a bit over time I’ve noticed.. sweetens on the skin and opens up into a beautiful, transparent vanilla. I found a 100 ml for $325 in MaxAroma and took the plunge. No regrets.

Originally I did not like this fragrance and thought I would never wear it. I thought it was too screechy of a detergent scent. Once I started actually wearing it both alone and layering it this has become my favorite scent. I look forward to that fresh clean detergent scent. It makes every scent better for me and I get a wiff of it through out the day. I love layering this with all of my musk forward scents, but really gives everything a nice touch.

Absolute aldehyde BOMB!!! It’s potent and I love it, but I also own most of the aldehyde forward perfumes out there, and this is somewhat redundant to what is already in my collection. It’s amazing, though! Edit: Ok, it’s an hour later and the aldehydic opening has mellowed out to give way to a lovely warm and slightly sweet white floral musk that sits closer to the skin. It’s beautiful, but I still don’t think I’ll get a full bottle.

If someone has a bottle to trade in the continental USA pm me. I have a few niche fragrances in this price range that might interest you. This is kind of what I've always wanted as a skin scent. I feel like people will just think you used fabric softener, but the scent sticks around and is a lot more than just that. The dry down is magic. It's a bit overpriced, but I also think it's great. I will come back for a full review.

I didn't expect it, but I love it. It's lovely. Yes, it totally smells like fabric softener. But in a luxurious, cool, artistic, clean and fashionable way. It doesn't smell cheap, even though I'd expect it to, because of (some) reviews. It's clean, but not boring or simple - it has interesting notes that pull you closer and intrigue you. It's a scent I imagine the best dressed boys and girls in Copenhagen to wear.

This most definitely does smells like a luxurious clean laundry detergent. One filled with the aroma of fresh flowers and fruity notes. It’s pure luxury imo and never comes across as harsh or cheaply made in anyway. Even the performance is great, it projects for hours on end and continues to get smoother deep into the dry down. A scent for those occasions when you want to smell squeaky clean and confident.

The first perfume reminded me of my childhood. For a moment I almost burst into tears because I remembered my carefree childhood before the terrible war, when my mother hung up the laundry on a beautiful sunny summer day and I smelled the freshly washed laundry and the scent of carefree summer and my childhood. You can actually smell that carefreeness and cheerfulness here.

I mean I have this and cloud gazer and although this is better blended and maybe a touch sweeter they are pretty much the same thing except one is $18 and this is in the $200 -$300 range at department stores for the small bottle. I actually prefer that cloud gazer is just a touch harsher and has better projection. This is a great fragrance though. Dryer sheet perfection.

This is one of those perfumes that I sniffed once and couldn’t get out of my head for ages. Fresh laundry and peach. The perfect aldehyde. A step below my favorite laundry scent of all time Warm Cotton by Clean, but pretty damn close. This is wonderfully classy and fresh. Perfect for fresh sheets and a crisp glass of water. EDIT: she’s mine now :)

A waxy trace of lipstick lingers on a clean, starched collar. It’s cool yet warm, synthetic but human, clean without feeling sterile. The synthetic nuance feels deliberate, like sun-softened plastic that still holds the faint imprint of skin. To my nose, the peach smells like a suggestion rather than the actual fruit.

wow, I love this scent!! I 100% agree with the person below who says not to agree with those who say it smells like laundry detergent. It absolutely smells more like the pink soap in the hospital bathrooms etc. How can I still like something I described like that?? that’s a conversation for a different day haha.

Lovely. Very minimalist chic. Very versatile fragrance and a great daily option. Aldehydic, floral, musky with some pear thrown in. Vibe is laundry detergent with slightly gourmandish cotton candy. Make no mistake, the finesse is there. It's just a relaxed category which doesn't take away from it's beauty.

Sweet laundry detergent in the best way possible. The vanilla is perfectly smooth here and bot too strong. The perfect everyday clean scent, and a very strong one. But! And theres a big but, soooo pricy it hurts, i want it so bad but cant afford it.

Starts off as a bright clean bomb! Love the sweetened aldehydes at the top with fruity creaminess. Blends with musk which makes longevity incredible, and it evolves during its wear. Sparkling, classy, modern. Had a decant and went up to full size.

this is so great. this is what I understand what perfumes stand for. timeless beauty. very extra-ordinary if you ask me: both nostalgic and modern at the same time. I must get this one. and ohh very long lasting, projects really well on my skin.

Ah and as a comparative review, Blanche is razor sharp to me and smells like hospital alcohol. This for me never turns sour and feels very round and fluffy ☁️ I feel like it can make a lot of people smile til they find out how much it costs lol

Fresh, light, citrussy, soapy (in a good, clean way). I LOVE it. It's the ultimate clean, fresh out of the shower scent. Amazing for every day wear. Super office friendly. Just clean and fresh. Very nice.

I love it, it's my current obsession! I have worn it last summer pretty often. I have discovered it does mix very well with 18 - 12 Ormaie for the colder spring days. Amazing.

Clean laundry, orange blossom-centered fragrance. It's very nice but I would only buy this deeply discounted because you can get a similar designer fragrance for much less.

I'm in love with this scent. It smells like you put your nose in a fresh laundry basket. Personally i wear it on my clothes. I hope it's never going to get discontinued.

Lovely! Very similar to Amouage Excistance. I have them both on each arm and they are so similar. Excistance is much stronger, its beast mode actually. Like them both!
