Dawn

The opening is instantly captivating, just like the dawn sunrise it is meant to represent. The first sniff I took made every muscle in my upper body tense up as a smile went straight across my face and my eyes went wide - just like I would looking at gorgeous sunrise. This is an oud+leather+amber perfume, specifically, but it's mostly the oud and leather featured throughout the active life of the fragrance. Carlos Benaim does not make these accords sit and wait for a dry-down. They are apparent from the first second of this fragrance hitting your skin, and the combination of those with rose and fruity pepper top notes is just divine. Unfortunately, just like the sun peaking up over the horizon, the beauty doesn't last long; I wish this opening went longer... a lot longer. It's so good. Once these dry down to the heart notes, the leather and oud gain power and you are also greeted by frankincense and amber notes. If at this point you are thinking "so far the way you've described this perfume makes it sound like old news - we've had this perfume from many houses before," yes, you are correct. But, what makes The Dawn stand out is just how silky smooth and elegant it is. How ever Benaim did this, or what materials he used, is particularly noteworthy because the frankincense, leather, oud, and amber are fully present in all of their smokey, resinous, fruity, funky, animalic, woody, slightly-fetid characteristics but none of these characteristics are the least bit challenging like they are in most other perfumes of similar styles. I cannot say it any other way except plainly and simply: this is one of the prettiest Arabian leather oud ambers I have ever smelled, maybe the prettiest. It captures a sunrise so perfectly: smooth, colorful, powerful yet gentle, seamless, and cool like a dawn sunrise is supposed to be and slowly growing in warmth (not instantly hot like most Arabian leathers and/or ouds). Final dry down going to a skin scent is a fantastic combination of oud and amber. Just like a fully risen sun, these final accords are golden and warm. In the class of Arabian perfumes - leather oud, oud, oud amber, etc. - The Dawn is summa cum laude. Totally stunning. There's one issue with it, and it's an enormous issue...: its enormous price tag. As of the day this review is being posted, 100mL costs $1,990.... I don't care how good a perfume is, that's simply ridiculous.

The Perfect Incense Dawn is a beautiful introspective journey starting with a pink pepper opening some delicate roses and frankincense reminiscent of mosques and churches. It has touches of amber / labdanum a hint of vetiver and moss in the base a delicate but noticeable oud and woody ambers in a sandalwood / frankincense direction. It’s introspective and a bit cerebral with all the balancing going on into the later dry down. Great for solitude, a cup of tea and a good book. Thoroughly enjoy this and it’s quite a treat to wear as you can truly appreciate the art here it’s not much less of a technical marvel than The Night maybe this is actually better? That’s a hard question to answer as I do love them both. The trifecta of rose, frankincense and labdanum is just pitch perfect. It is the most elegant of the desert gems IMO, it’s also by far the most subtle option. The price for years for me was a point of contention but at discounters you can get this for $550 - $700. At that price the argument changes how many of us blind buy a $300 fragrance nowadays or how many $200 fragrances do you have that you never reach for? I’d rather splurge for a best in category such as Dawn for an incense than a sample set from an artisanal brand (recently paid $165 for a sample set with shipping total disappointment) or a blind buy from some hyped up niche. There we have summed this up a phenomenal incense fragrance for an astronomical price. A true indulgence for the connoisseur.

This was really tricky for me on first wearing, as it's a bone dry blend of faintly animalic oud and glinting unburnt frankincense. As more of a myrrh fan, I initially found this to be a little bit too graphite-like for my liking, but I do still somehow feel this fits its name and theme very well. There's a stalwart serenity to Dawn which, despite its inclusion of the much feared pink pepper and saffron, doesn't come off spicy but does use its very austere incense note to create an image of light filtering through a window with dust floating in the air. Even now I'm a little shocked at the pairing of frankincense with oud (which I shouldn't be as oud has often been burned as incense throughout history) but the dryness of the former and animalic quality of the latter produce a sensation of something that started to decay but was then fossilised in a state of suspended animation. It is of course evocative of stone buildings and tiled plazas... sun, dust and silence. Bringing up the rear is a fairly nondescript woodiness which takes over after about 8 hours. Perhaps it's sacrilege to say, but I wouldn't have minded if the rose got a little bump in this... Incense milled into a mountain of dust.

Al-Fajr (Dawn) is Olibanum perfection. This one and Sultan Pasha's Ame Sombre are the best compositions that explore the Frankincense accord, at least to me. This one is more on the Orthodox church, cold olibanum smell, backed up by some earthy soft oud in the base, dry vetiver, and moss. I don't get a strong Oud as in Al Layl(The Night), nor the same Hindi fermented type, here it's more of an earthy variety, that is cleverly blended with vetiver and oakmoss. I also don't pick up the rose in here. It very much sings a perfect song about Olibanum, and it also has that oily almost texture to it like you'd burn the resin and pour the oil on yourself. This does absolutely not justify its price tag, but I love it and it does for me. Sometimes is better to let your nose and senses decide rather than the rational part of your brain. Because it's not as animalic nor loud as Al Layl, or Al Waad, this can be worn more easily without offending innocent bystanders.

This is the most realistic incense I have ever smelled in my life. It smells IDENTICAL like when you enter to a church. Dusty, woody, dirty incense. It is there from the beginning and it will stay with you until the end. It is amazing that incense will remain the same all the time while other notes will come and go. The opening is not animalic as The Night, but you can immediately feel the rose, smoke, oud and pepper. Pepper definitely softens the animal opening so it’s lighter than The Night and The Moon initially. Dry down is a smoky, incensy labdanum. And through the labdanum you can feel the oud incense. It's a cold fragrance. A bit dusty from vetiver. It stays on the skin for 12+ hours, and it stays on the clothes until you wash it. Dawn will be around you, but it's not too strong so it can be worn at slightly higher temperatures without bothering anyone. I am very happy to have this masterpiece and to finally have a full Desert Gems collection.

Dear friends - please don’t be fooled into thinking the lovely and subtle Dawn resembles Swiss Arabian’s bargain bin oud approximation Dehn al Oud Malaki, which is a one dimensional ape of a soaked and fermented hindi oud. Dawn’s oud note is a fantastically ‘tuned’ cheese oud that transitions with elegant smoothness into a realistic high-quality frankincense. I use the tuning metaphor as it feels like a flawless mix of notes, like moving the fader on an audio mixer from one audio source to another harmonized audio source forming a chord then fading completely to the second note. Rose, moss and vetiver create a quiet ambient backdrop to this masterpiece. The value here lies in the combination of high quality ingredients and truly masterful blending. I’ve yet to find this lovely oud note in another fragrance or oud oil, and you won’t find anything remotely similar in a 90 dollar mass produced oud.

Ladies and gentlemen I would love to share with you my new milestone and hereby announce that I completed my DESERT GEMS collection Now that my celebration is over let’s get to the scent and I would address them as facts 1. It has the most realistic olibanum in the market 2. Longevity is definitely eternal 3. The oud used here is the same as the night 4. Projection is moderate (unfortunately) 5 .in the opening it’s olibanum is king in the dry down the oud takes on the show 6 .It’s definitely overpriced 7 .my second best from the collection following promise 8 .it’s incredible in all surfaces (skin-clothes-paper) 9 .5 sprays are for almost half a day 10 sprays will last you until tomorrow 10 . This scent is the proof that Carlos Benaim is the greatest living American perfumer in the world I believe I did my part yours is to try it out

A rough impression: At the beginning the frankincense/incense note is prominent, you can also sense flash of new-woody-furniture-like pink pepper. Soon the perfume transitions to an ambiguously leathery oud phase; it turns even more rounded, softer later; after a long time into the body/base, the oud accord becomes dryer or woody-er(vetiver, maybe?), (when I’m drunk) there is also a nutty edge. I didn’t get much rose notes on paper, perhaps it’s only here to play the mellow background music. Though on skin I did catch a glimpse of rose at some point. Overall, a well-crafted concoction. Really “wearable”, if that’s your concern. I wouldn’t put it in the same line as the Night.

My absolute favorite among the Frederic Malle ́s Desert Gems, with a clear oud and amber /labdanum combination that is just beautiful. It ́s strange that amber is not a note one can rate in the updated Fragrantice user experience. I struggle to understand that some reviewers claim there is no oud in this, and strongly disagree. I get very little rose, which for me is what sets this one apart from The Night after a few hours. Love the smoky drydown ni the first few hours after applying. Considering the price I ́ve sprayed rather sparingly however I think at this price point one should expect a bit better longevity than I get on my skin.

This is indeed all about frankincense. I thought this would be more in the vein of The Night, but the very pleasant initial oud, pink pepper and rose opening is a transient affair, giving way to about a half hour's unenjoyable sourness. This, however, like the dawn slowly breaking eventually gives way to a beautiful churchy incense. A little unfairly set within the confines of The Night's price bracket; I would happily buy this otherwise. I received a bottle for my birthday. Crazy longevity and very regal smelling. Very happy indeed.

I think this is my favorite from the collection. It is so cold, stark and mysterious. The dry coldness makes me think of a dark winter night. But I would be doing this masterpiece an injustice if i did not bring up the opening of oud and rose. The oud is not a skanky oud and the rose is jammy and leads beautifully into the cold heart. This is where the true warmth of the blend lives and it is the only warmth you will notice but it takes you by the hand and walks you into the base. This is truly a masterpiece and worth the price.

Beautiful aromatic woody scent showcasing a lovely olibanum and a nice Cambodian oud. The scent opens with notes of pink pepper and slight rose and transitions to the incense laden heart. The perfume settles on a powdery bed of the oud, with additional vetiver, labdanum and oakmoss. The masculine leaning scent has moderate to strong sillage and very good longevity. The scent is very spiritual because of the beautiful olibanum resin and quite reverent, but you have to be able to afford this extravagance first. Enjoy!

Beautiful scent! It starts out with the quickest hint of fecal oud, maybe for a minute or two. That smell quickly fades away, and what I’m left with is just the most beautiful olibanum scent ever. It’s not churchy to me, but it is cold-ish and so intoxicating. The rose is not a player in this one, which is a little disappointing to me, but I can make an exception in this one. I love this so much for what it is, an incense fragrance. In the desert gems collection this ranks at number 2 for me, right after the moon.

Yes this has filigree, nuances, sparks of brilliance and all the rest of it but then, when my night of aroused excitement is over, in the cold light of dawn, this is, basically, just a strong realistic smell of frankincense. I may just accost the priest on his ceremonial run down the nave, relieve him of his bejewelled golden incense thurible, crack it open and smother the contents all over my body. The priest could be consoled that I had at least not committed the sin of spending £950 for the pleasure.

Yeah, I love Dawn. It's one of my all time favorites. It reminds me of falling leaves. The sum of the parts come together to make a pretty convincing ambergris accord. It wears like a golden aura. My favorite of the desert gems collection from frederic malle, the only one that feels like it's close to worth the money to me.

It was way too over price, can't really smell must nuances of reall oud, to me the smell was quite synthetic . The structure was also quite simple and nothing special. It was smooth and left a skin scent in the base. €1100/100ml is a daylight rubbery. With €1100, I will invest in Guerlain 190 ans Absolute.

A cold, rather austere olibanum centric fragrance warmed by a very natural oud and Turkish rose. Dawn transports you to a far away place, sitting in complete silence the cool darkness of the night is broken by the warmth of the rising Sun. There is something deeply spiritual about this.

Yesterday I got a full bottle of this juice...well, fantastic! The mix between incense and Oud is incredible and at the end you can feel also the vetiver. Compliment Mr. Benaim, this is a Masterpiece

Definitely the dawn to the night. $1500? Nah...maybe if you can find it for half price if you don't already have the night. Ester lauder prices me thinks. Same with shishedo and SL add infinitum

Such a masterpiece but why so expensive :( the drydown is soooooo good. From opening to the very last whiff it's such an unreal experience. One of the few oud fragrances that I love.

Is this way overpriced, yes, is it worth the money, no, is it one of the most beautiful fragrances ever, yes

Dawn is my second Desert Gem to sample after The Night, and is another oud-heavy affair, unsurprisingly. The price point is similar to The Night (eyewateringly overpriced), and while this is a well-crafted scent that succeeds in paying homage to Middle Eastern perfumery, it is more of the same - capitalising on the rose-oud accord. I am not an oud lover, and have accepted that this collection of scents will not appeal to my personal taste, but can appreciate the craftsmanship and inspiration. Dawn opens with a surprisingly soft rose-oud accord, complemented beautifully by the pink pepper, which gives an unexpected lift. I much prefer this opening to the dense, animalic oud that dominates the opening of The Night. Here, it is more balanced and less polarising. The rose is rich and adds velvety depth. There is some smoky frankincense present from the beginning that comes to the fore as Dawn develops. Unfortunately for me, the rose fades while the oud becomes quite prominent for a period here. As Dawn dries down, the frankincense takes centre stage. It becomes reminiscent of church incense - dry, woody and smoky with some balsamic spiciness. The labdanum emerges, dominating the ambery incense drydown. Thanks to my Catholic upbringing, I really enjoy a good incense note, and here it is excellent. Just a personal gripe - I would prefer less oud throughout. It fades to a smoky-amber skin scent eventually, retaining a hint of oud. Dawn is long-lasting with strong sillage - a little goes a long way. Dawn is masculine-leaning, and while not a scent I would wear, I appreciate its beauty. However, as I mentioned in my review of The Night, it is certainly overpriced, and similar scents can likely be found from authentic Middle Eastern sources. A high quality, rose-oud-incense scent, I prefer Dawn to The Night - it is less linear and a little more complex while remaining cohesive. 4/5.

Editions de Frederic Malle is one of my top fragrance houses. I have tried many of their fragrances and own many of them. I was very lucky a wonderful person in the New York store sent me a sample (on the day it was closing for Corona-19 no less). I have worn it now several times and feel I now know it enough to comment. It’s opening note is heavenly to me. Gorgeous. But I also say that about many fragrances. Carlos Benaim, the Nose behind this one, is a legend, but I don’t think this one compares well to some of his previous masterpieces: Music for a While, and Eau de Magnolia, to name just two. I find it somewhat in-line with The Night, and Promise, but these two project better on my skin. But that may just be me. If I were trying to own a scent that would get me noticed it might work, but more because of its price than its olfactory Umph

Tried this because there was no tester for Promise. Unlike many other FM perfumes which I dislike the opening, I like this one’s opening which was a beautiful oud floral mix. Unfortunately the dry down was rather mild in comparison. Wanted to buy full bottle but ran out of stock.

A very forgiving oud. Dry, incensy and I get lots of leather or synthetic sweetness. I really do like this

Rather sad as this simply does not perform well on my skin. It sits very flat and does not last long at all. Which is a first as all but one other lasts 8+ hours of large projection on my skin. From that perspective, the fragrance simply isn't worth it for me. The oud used is similar to The Night but has nowhere near the animalic/barnyard quality. As with every Frederic Malle scent, it's very well refined. While I enjoy it, it does not blow my mind. It's honestly a very refined scent of something you have smelled over and over again if you enjoy incense genera. It won't be hard to get a scent that is very similar, you just won't get the level of quality/refinement. As with all Frederic Malle ouds, cost is the issue. While I was willing to put the cash out for The Night and Moon...but I have no desire to really put down the cash. It's a shame as I really wanted to complete my collection of the Middle Eastern collection. It's something I'd consider at 30% MSRP...but not at where it is at.

Had a sample of this fragrance. It's a very nice fragrance at the opening and middle notes. On my skin, after around 3 hours I could only smell the Ambroxan which is quite disappointing as I really liked the oud note at the beginning, and because of the extremely high price. I'll give it the benefit of the doubt and say it was because I live in a pretty hot area (but it was the evening and I was home for the entire 3 hours).

My second least favorite in the desert gems line next to the moon. I can appreciate the quality of ingredients and blending here, but the scent is a bit off putting. To my nose, this is more challenging to wear than the night. Dawn is very medicinal, rubbery, herbal and leathery. It’s a bit unsettling and nauseating.

Balsamic oud. Very realistic tree sap. Peppery rose. All in a sort of ceremonial incense. Would be great if it kept it's consistency but it just falls apart after a few hours.

Frederic Malle Dawn opens with a quite fierce oud. It has the similarly animalic, sour and fermented aspects like the Indian oud in The Night. However, instead of a full-on barnyard stroll, it also clearly exhibits a rubbery facet that fits the profile of Laotian oud that I've encountered so far. As a result, Dawn is indeed lighter than The Night, but overall speaking it's still fairly animalic as an oud perfume. However, like The Night, the authentic oud characteristics in Dawn retreat to the background rather quickly, and what's left is only a softly sweet and resinous woody backbone with flickers of rose petals. Moreover, it's gradually consumed by a standard olibanum incense and labdanum amber accord, and further dried out by a discreet touch of woody amber aromachemicals, to the extent that the dry down after about 4 hours is almost solely a desiccating incense than anything smelling remotely of oud. I got a medium to soft sillage with Dawn and a longevity of at least 8 hours on my skin. For me, The Night and Dawn share the same syndrome: a fairly authentic oud opening undermined by ubiquitous, uninspiring rose and amber/incense accords. If Dawn was released two years ago, I would have recommended it along with The Night as an example of animalic oud to sample, because even though they're fairly standard and unimaginative, at least they showcase the animalic aspects of oud pretty well and are put out by a well-established brand. However, during these two years, many artisanal and independent brands have come up with oud perfumes either more authentic, more innovative, more sophisticated or more luxurious, and with a more interesting price at that. Therefore, I would not particularly recommend Dawn before other more interesting oud perfumes.

Not at this price. This is what came across my mind when I have tested it. Incense spicy (pink pepper) with thick base of labdanum and oakmoss. Oud stands behind and it’s not the same type used in The Night (Indian) . I was told it comes from Laos. To me it’s synthetic from any laboratory in the EU. If it was priced as all the others, one might give this some thoughts as it comes as a pleasant fragrance. Not at 650€ for the 50 ml. This is not niche: it is robbery

Smells imaginative in the opening, but I just cannot get past the stinky smoky note in this fragrance. That particular note clashes with the rest of the notes that smell nostalgic, just ruins the fragrance all together for me. I think it’s the Olibanum? And the price... That is probably the most frightening aspect of it all. Edit: So i discovered it’s the oud, maybe I am just not a fan of oud anyways, perhaps oud accord, ( ambery woodiness ) .

Its okay. Regardless of price, it's really not the best oud I have ever tried. Far from it. I was just expecting more of FM. Considering a perfumer has total creative freedom in this line, I was just expecting more from FM oud's. Neither of them are that great. Even if they were $250...

I discovered that I do not like oud. it opens quite sour and annoyingly smoky, which is the oud and olibanum, but dries down into nostalgia of a wooden attic of my uncle's house in Persia. I can definitely appreciate the scent, but I wouldn't wear it personally.

I have smelled many types of "real oud" before. And this smells nothing like them. Hahaha So freedom of opinion I guess, but I have a real hard time believing that one.

Not at all like The Night...there is no Oud here, it only smells very synthetic and harsh like an Arabian Bleu de Chanel.

The first time I encountered Dawn was at Harrods, where a staff member sprayed it on a tester for me to try. From the very first whiff, I was captivated. I took the card with me and placed it on my office desk, and I swear to the Almighty, it kept radiating for over three weeks. That unforgettable aura lingered in my space, reminding me daily of its deep, commanding presence. Eventually, I bit the bullet and purchased a bottle. To me, this fragrance is more than just a scent—it’s a spiritual experience. Each spray evokes a sense of regality, refinement, and mystique. I typically apply one spray to my upper chest or the middle of my neck, allowing its presence to unfold gradually right up my nose. Despite owning an extensive collection of niche fragrances, Dawn is, without a doubt, the strongest of them all. It radiates throughout the day, subtly reminding me of its existence with each passing hour. While it is undeniably pricey, I can confidently say that it is money well spent. If you seek to distinguish yourself from the rest, this is the way to go. Layering Tips: One of my favourite combinations, if you want to smell like a CEO, is: 2-3 sprays of Dawn + Full wearing of Bvlgari Kobraa Thank me later

اليوم كانت تجربة عطر الفجر بداخلي يقين مريب ان العطر قد كتب اسمه قبل أن يصنع فالعطر ينقصه الكثير حتى يصبح عطرا مكتملا. او لنقل ان هذه التوليفة لا تصنع عطرا بهذا الثمن. اصبحت اشعر على الفور كلما رايت العود الى جوار الورد ان العطار لم يكلف نفسه عناء البحث عن شيء جديد. او ربما ليس في راسه الآن ما يستحق. على كل حال العطر لا يرتكز على العود ولكن على الاوليبانوم واللابدانوم والعود مكانه خاطئ بين هذين الاثنين فهما ليسا في حاجة إليه.. وكذلك لم يكن هناك داع لوجود كل هذه الورود الحمراء على الإطلاق. انا لست عطارا حتى اتكلم بهذا الشكل ولكنني كمستخدم بسيط يمكنني القول ان العطر ربما كان في حاجة إلى بعض الإصلاحات وأولها إلغاء العود والفتيفير والورود الحمراء. مع إدخال الصنوبر والتنوب في المقدمة. والتوباكو مع حبوب القهوة في القلب والجلود الفرائية والأمبروكسان وبعضا من زهرة الأوركيد في القاعدة مع الإبقاء على بقية المكونات كما هي.. عفوا أيها الفجر فأنت ينقصك الكثير .. ولا أراه يستحق سوى ثمن أي مخلط شرقي لا يجوز ثمنه ٧٥$

I own a 2ml decant of this and priced at $30, that is eye-watering for that small amount. Quality is exceptional and wearing this feels like an olfactory experience from start to finish, almost like wearing a piece of art. I pick up this interesting dry quality that keeps me coming back to sniff the scent on my skin. Also, it really reminds me of a more luxurious version of Bvlgari Kobraa which is one of my favourite perfumes. It's very safe compared to the other releases in the Desert Gems Collection. I don't get any Oud, in fact I detect a lot of Olibanum which takes centre stage and which I think is expertly executed in this perfume. Worth the price? Probably not. Worth experiencing? Definitely. 8/10

Modern perfumery is built on efficiency—and that’s not necessarily a bad thing. Most perfumes today rely on a shared palette of mass-produced aroma chemicals and accessible naturals like citrus oils. The difference between a $100 and a $900 fragrance usually isn’t in the raw materials—it’s in the uniqueness of the composition, the creativity of the blend. But once you cross into the $200+ range, you're not getting better ingredients—you’re paying for exclusivity, packaging, and brand image. The juice inside? Not dramatically better. It's still riding on the same synthetic scaffolding as the rest—just dressed up in glass and hype.

The oud inside Dawn is like the Japanese plum seed which has dried down with a delightful churchy oud scent. Even though I have over 20 full bottles of Frederic Malle fragrance, I seldom write reviews about them. However, I have really found Dawn is the most beautiful scent among Frederic Malle fragrance. It reminds me a little bit of Thierry Mugler Alien Musc Mysterieux but it doesn't have the Sichuan pepper. Dawn opens with really delicate olibanum and the same oud scent as the Night but without barnyard scent behind it. The scent of Dawn opens really delicately and quietly to give you calm and unique feelings.

Nope. Awful, terrible 'hardcore' oud opening the sort you *really would be uncomfortable on a busy train in Summer with. Yes it gets better with a rich inscence but 'waiting' for a scent to spread its wings is one of my pet hates. Tired of rose/oud too. You think they would have learned,, but no, Malle had to hop aboard the bandwagon too, but it's one crashes very prematurely. Why be so offensive, and then have the cheek to charge double the price of Kilian's Amber Oud for it?? Fans of rose/oud are totally missing nothing here, except a much lighter wallet weighing down their pockets. My rating: 2/10

My name is Dawn Apolline so I really wanted to adore this fragrance but it is absolutely vile. Chirch incense makes me sick, reminds me of dead (or, kissing death) people. My Jewishness is not satisfied here... I wanted this to be something ethereal and lush such as the dawn itself, the beckoning of light from eternal darkness but instead it smells like dusty death. Deeply repulsed and lately have been realizing all of his perfumes are awful other than carnal flower and portrait of a lady. They are all so... messy, not seamless, not evocative in the way I wish it was.

Sprayed it on my skin in a shop. I went into it completely blind, I've never heard of this brand before. I've never encountered oud as a top notes before. It's very barnyard for about 5 minutes, then I got all the incense that other people described. After 2 hours it completely vanished on me. That's when I looked it up online and found out how much it costs. What the actual - ??? There's other beautiful incenses out there for less than a tenth of the price. There's no reason to buy this other than being a rich fool with more money than sense.

I was more than a little sceptical when I first tried this. Seemed very ambroxan forward and an easy designer feel to it. Obviously the price was making me cautious and anticipating a lot from the fragrance. I have worn it maybe five times now and I am finally getting the rose and incense. It reminds me of a raisin liquer (that I never smelt). I wonder if it is ageing a bit better as more air gets into the bottle. It's an impressive progression in the fragrance and I am appreciating it more and more. I don't get much Oud.

Al hamdolillah! (Thank God!) When a fragrance is (over)priced, it has its reasons. First of all this is art in a bottle from Carlos Benaïm. I can find myself in some commente like “Arabian blue de chanel” for example, must say creative minds here on fragrantica. What i like most of this masterpiece is the drydown, again Al hamdolillah (Thank God) for the gift of this person who’s creativity has become a statement in a bottle.
