Always loved this perfume when I was growing up, my mom had it. She gave me the rest of her old bottle recently and it still smells absolutely incredible. Also for those looking for a dupe... I didn't even realize how similar a perfume I was wearing was to it until my mom gifted me her f by fredericks bottle. The perfume 'White' by Kenneth Cole is a very close dupe to this one. I've only used their fragrance mist, which is a bit light but I imagine the concentrated perfume would be a bit stronger and maybe heavier. Its still a very, very close scent to F. I'd say it's a tad bit warmer and lighter as F by fredericks has such a deep and rich scent, but if you love this perfume and aren't willing to spend $400+ on an old bottle, 'White' by Kenneth Cole is a really close second.

This is so unique, I cannot find anything like it. I wish i could because I am so in love with this scent from the moment I first smelled it years ago. It is so sensual and sexy. So different from most scents these days. It is not overpowering or offensive and leaves this sexy trail. I get comments on it every time I wear it. Fredrick's discontinued it for a while and then relaunched it thankfully. If anyone knows of any that smell very close please let me know; I am afraid they will stop selling this again. For whatever reason my chemistry does not pick up on many top notes in any scent, so I mostly smell the sandalwood, vanilla, rum, cashmere, leather, and musk.

This has been one of my very favorites since I received a gift set back in 2004 when it first was out. I was rather upset when it was discontinued- an then very happy when one day on Frederick's website I saw they had it back- it's a feel good perfume :) I wasnt able to review it before because it wasnt in the data base- glad it is now. I wish they made it in a bath or shower gel yummy:) Its both sweet & woody - the only thing that dampers it is at times I get that plastic smelling note - but not enough to keep me from loving this one :) its a sexy woody warm , not overbearing scent .

This perfume is my Roman Empire. I think about it all the time and can remember the smell so vividly. I would pay the hundreds that people are asking on Mercari and eBay if I could guarantee the scent was the same and they hadn’t gone bad. Manifesting a perfume coming out someday that is the perfect dupe of this! I have libre intense and to me they are not that similar. F was a lot warmer and deeper.

I bought F by FoH in 2005 and I loved wearing it. Last month I ordered a perfume named Amber Grand by Paris Corner and in the dry down, after 1 hour if spraying it reminded me of a perfume I used to have, it reminded me of F by FoH. Cannot stop sniffing my hand. I just wish this one projected more and was more long lasting! Maybe after it matures, it might, since it is an Arabic perfume.

I bought this scent to be worn after I got married - nothing is more sexy - I had forgotten about it since 2006 and something triggered a memory of its smell. I went a searching and sure enough Frederick's online still sells it, and I got a set with lotion and body powder on sale 50% off for $25 buxs....can't beat it - this is sinfully sexy, decadent and rich!!

Frederick's of Hollywood Signature: So sad that this has been discontinued for so long! When Frederick's stores were closing my boyfriend bought me two of the signature gift sets. He loved this so much too. This is probably one of the sexiest fragrances ever made, in my opinion. Have tried to find something similar and nothing out there smells like it.

I just splurged on a 1/4 full bottle on Ebay because I NEEDED to smell this smell. Unfortunately, the 20 year old bottle mostly smells like alcohol now. This fragrance was the epitome of sultry and sweet. Over the last 15 years the closest I've come to smelling something similar is Jimmy Choo I Love Choo. Still looking for a closer duplicate of the OG!

I miss this scent. It was soooo good. Floral fruity oriental vanilla done right. Sad it's been discontinued so long. Wish it would come back. Ahhh the good old days. UPDATE EDIT: 1-2-2021, Just tested YSL Libre Intense- smells a lot like this perfume. Libre Intense is definitely a good dupe for Frederick. The closest I've ever found.

Libre Intense is pretty but to me not like F at all. Nothing is. Why won't some company duplicate even half of it? I miss it so much. I only have a fifth of an oz and want to save its memories so I don't use. I've googled F once a month for 6 years to check any recs so I do appreciate those. But nothing captures its balance for me.

Men love this perfume! Whenever I wear this scent men are always stopping me to ask what perfume I have on. Very sexy scent.. quite the head turner I must say.

I have the older formulation/bottle of this which was the same shape but more of a syrupy golden amber color with a very simple frosted glass bottle and red/gold cap. This fragrance is absolutely beautiful, it wears on my skin just like JPG classique but without the harsh acetone/nailpolish note that is prominant on my skin. Also the apple gives it a lovely burst of freshness in the middle notes and the tamarind in the top notes gives it a zesty tang. Overall a very musky vanillic scent and man do the boys love it!

Rec'd a sample page to sniff with a catalog that was sent to me...I thought it was extremely sexy! Watch out Victoria Secret...Frederick's has your number with this scent!!! It looks like A LOT going on here with the notes...but it's actually not that complicated...I got fresh Egyptian jasmine, some pink pepper and cashmere with loads of musk and sandalwood....intoxicating!

I have been searching for this fragrance my entire life. My mother had this when I was a very young child. I remember I loved the frosted glass. It lived in between my parents two sinks in their bathroom. I remember thinking that when I grow up and I’m a grown woman I want this perfume. I want to smell like this. My mom forgot about this perfume completely. She had no idea what I was talking about. I’ve been searching “early 2000s Amber colored frosted glass tall skinny perfume” for years 😩 and nothing ever came up. But ig God saw I wanted to find it because a picture of it finally came up and I gasped!!! My heart started to race!! Yes it’s this one!!! I showed my mom and she confirmed. But then my heart was torn again. Why tf does it go for almost 500$ 😩 I just want to smell it again

This is the single sexiest,hottest,most seductive perfume that has ever graced my presence. I purchased it for my wife years ago and it has since been discontinued, which to anyone who knows this scent would call it a tragedy to do that! This scent not only leaves a trail of silken lust in its wake, it will drop a strong soul right to thier knees. The warm sensual finish of the rum, vanilla and woods rivals any so called sexy perfume on the market today. It's warmth and depth really meld well with natural skin scents and it's holds on for hours. 12 hours later it is still noticeable. I havnt found anything like this amazing scent. Hoping for a re issue or at least something comparable,but so far this gem stands alone

Two unlikely dupes since discontinued. Not exact but could not believe sampling “whisper” by doterra kept giving me a memorable scent I couldn’t put my finger on. Then hours later it hit me. It smells like sandalwood, faint rose, vanilla and almost almond powdery and complex. I was shocked. I had forgotten all about fredericks f. They share a lot of the same notes. Note that Whisper is a specialty scent that is marketed by creating a unique scent to your own body chemistry so while it was nice on me it could be a risk. Less complex but powdery essence and sandalwood would be cherished by drew Barrymore. After wearing whisper all day the last of the drydown was cherished like.

I used to work a Fredericks a year before they closed all the physical stores and they put this on discount so I bought bottles for everyone for Christmas. I forgot about the set of lotion fragrance and body powder I set back for me so i decided revisit the fragrance and WOW! HOW COULD I FORGET THIS GEM! I will definitely use it for special occasions only I didn't realize how hard it is to get this now. It is a very sexy provocative scent. I want to use it every day but I must restrain myself. I'm not good at that. This would not be a high humidity high heat scent unless you want your milkshake to bring all the boys men and other to the yard. Definitely love potion #9

Remind yourself of the scent that’s been long gone. If you haven’t smelled rollin in love by killian just read the reviews. Scent Keywords: Ambrette, almondy, powdery makeup, cherry-like almond accord, tonka... This is the best we’re gonna get. Searching F’s notes in the database is not the way to go as this scent took on more complexities and still was able to hold gorgeous florals. Killian describes Fredericks F to a T.

Does anyone have info on the one with the black lid, the parfum rather than the toilette? I have gotten hold of a bottle but just can't work out if it has just lost potency or is just slightly different. Anyone remember the one with the black curved lid. I had both 15 years ago and I'm trying to differentiate between memories.

My husband and son confirm that I do indeed have perfume on, but I can barely smell a thing. I get faint wafts of a lightly spiced vanilla, same style as Casmir, but that's it. Nothing heavy, no booziness, not much character.

Some folks have voted Chopard Casmir as a scent close to this,but I havnt had a chance to test that. Also fenzy from Nichole miller but that has been discontinued as well

There’s no chocolate note listed, but this is deliciously chocolatey too me. Makes you smell good enough to eat, lol.

I loved this scent as well and Jadore reminds me of it smells just like it to me. Jadore christian
