An Equestrian Series Haydan

Very well-balanced and great performing hidden gem for Fall, Winter and (early) Spring, probably best suited for men aged 25 and up. Slightly fresh, spicy and aromatic notes with just the right amount of sweetness in perfect harmony with woods, leather, a touch of green earthiness and maybe a very subtle oud note buzzing around in the background. Smells at least 3 times more expensive than it actually is (I paid 32 Euros). Yesterday I wore it at the office and in the evening at my sister's birthday party and I got at least 4 compliments over the day (3 women, 1 man). 9.65/10

Sert koseler gitmiş gibi. Notalarda yok ama kahve var burada. Deri ise gercekten yumuşak şekilde. Praline-çikolata var hemde belirgin şekilde. Gövde aslinda ondan oluşuyor. Kisacasi başarılı bir parfum olmuş.

I have never smelled PDM Haltan ,so there is no comparison! But this one smells amazing; quit balanced notes and it does not smell cheap at all ! One of best blind buys ever :)

@Parhamvali: 9-10 hours with pretty strong projection for the first 3. Not super beast mode, but overall a very good performing fragrance for the price.

Did a bit of an oopsie on this one and blind bought it without reading the comments or stuff (did watch a few review vids). Why did I buy it? I went to my nearest department store and one of the fragrance saleswomen showed me Haltane by PdM. Didn't really like the smokey opening at first but LOVED the drydown - rich, lavender woodiness. I thought this would be the same. Unfortunately it is not. Haydan by French Avenue is not the same as Haltane, but it does share similar DNA. Imagine Haltane but without the dark woodiness and smokiness in it, then you'd have Haydan (shockingly almost a 1:1 clone in that aspect). The removal of said elements makes it more of a autumn/spring scent rather than a winter scent in my opinion. I don't get as much of a lavender here unfortunately, Haltane does it a lot better, so if you're a fan of that then you might want to get the real one - or other clones, but I haven't smell any of the other clones so I can't give you an honest opinion. French Aveune is my favourite clone fragrance house, and I can see they tried to do something unique here, which I respect. It lasts for quite a long time especially on clothes, I can still catch whiffs of it after a day or so. On skin it does last for 7-8 hours, and in shower it actually smells very unique and different - which I'd prefer the scent I got there than the juice in the bottle??? Sillage wise it is decent, can definitely smell it at an arm's length - spray 3-4 times is more than enough. Anyways - If you like Haltane by PdM but don't like the dark woodiness/smokiness of it, then Haydan is the way to go. 6.4/10

Nose Note #781 I wanted to try this badly and it didn't land very well. It is indeed something like Oud for Greatness, and I absolutely love that DNA, to me it became unexpectedly addictive despite the obviously polarising scent, whereas Haydan is a step more challanging for me. Upclose something about it is screaming feminine to me. I vote for unisex. This saffron note is annoying here. The sweetness is piercing, a bit screeching, but it's not sweet like BR540, yet it feels screechy. The leather makes it all much heavier and add a level of challenging. In the air it's better. The best thing about it is that it's a really strong scent. And it definately smells super high quality and expensive. "Chemical nature" yeah, sure - to me saffron is always making things smell unnatural or chemical, but that's saffron. Very leathery, very saffony and very sweet. If you fancy scent like this - go ahead. I'd advise to decant first. Not a safe blind buy at all. To my biggest surpirse - my wife likes this... She says it smells like herbs they put in coughing pills and it smells nicely masculine. What a difference of perception. I'll also say this - if you are a collector, this would be a nice addition. Not redundant to stand alongside with Oud for Greatness DNA fragrances. 7.2/10, one for those that like a challenge, may become an acquired taste. Overall, not a total let down

This one is crazy strong. One spray goes off my skin the entire day and even the bext morning (after a shower!). So it lasted about 24hrs on my skin 😳 Normally I'd cheering a frag for that, but this got me wondered what sort of chemicals are used to provide such truely nuclear performance and whether this us going beyond safe for your skin and overall health (I honestly have no clue). Also one can get tired of the scent with such a long projection. The scent itself is very good, manly but not in the face of others. Lasts forever (over 16hrs easily), costs little, perfect for cooler times of the year. Overall a clear recommendation (if you like the scent profile). PS. I don't care about the OG.

I wear this during the holidays because my wife told me it smells like a mix between Thanksgiving and Christmas. It's very cozy and arboreous with some soft sweet spices. Excellent performance. Projects fairly well for 2-3 hours. The dry down stays around forever. It also performs well outdoors, so I like to wear it on my autumn hikes. Manly Christmas cabin vibes.

I like it. Very masculine scent. I would say for a man that is a bit more mature. Extremely woody, leather and aromatic. Great for cooler weather and evenings out. Not your typical modern mass appealing scent.

This is so similar to Haltane it's hard to distinguish. Although I can tell the difference mainly in the dry down. This lacks the depth and sophistication of Haltane likely due to cheaper ingredients.

Tested from a decant. Never tried Haltane. Haydan = 50% Oud for Glory / Greatness, 40% french fougère profile, 10% praline / caramel gourmand profile As if I were layering my my precious Oud for Glory, Houbigant Fougère Royale and Vertus Vanilla Oud... Strange idea, isn't it? The smell is strange too... Average sillage and longevity. I'll skip this one.

Like a cheap Haltane, only without any oud. If you're after a Haltane clone, keep looking.

It starts nice, almost identical to Haltane, but dries down very quick and poor, giving an unpleasant smell of a chemical nature.

Equestrian line Hayden is an absolute standout fragrance, refined, elegant, and full of class with the perfect balance of sophistication and freshness, Hayden never feels overpowering. What I love most is how versatile this is perfect for daily wear yet classy enough for special occasions. The saffron, Lavender and bergamot is prominent for me and the performance is impressive too long-lasting easily 7+ hours before fading into a skin scent with just the right amount of projection from the first spray, this will get you noticed without been overwhelming. If you’re looking for a fragrance that feels both modern and timeless, Hayden’s Equestrian series is definitely worth exploring. I have never tried Haltane by PDM but if this is anything to go by it's a winner in my books

guys if you didnt smell or have haltane whats the point of writing review about this being clone of it. IT IS NOT , no oud and synthetic blend
