Those that do pick this up will be rewarded with a lively and versatile fragrance that is good for both sexes and can be used for all occasions and seasons and by both older and younger users. Performance is good and the presentation is beautiful as per French Avenue's high standards. Extremely worthwhile citrus addition. Highly recommended.

Not as close as I think I was expecting. Not to Guerlain Platine Prive, at least. I decanted some of my Platine Prive bottle before selling the remainder. I liked it, but the performance was pretty bad. I was excited hearing about this offering, and ordered a bottle. Hoping for a more potent GPP. My initial excitement faded after realizing that this one basically eliminates the almond almost entirely. I can only detect a little. Direct comparison to the Platine Prive confirms this. I'd put this at around 75% close, if I had to. This misses everything that made Platine Prive special. The subtle nuances aren't here, which seems to be a clone thing across the board. But wait!!!! Don't let that discourage anyone from trying it!! It is still a great purchase. The reviewer below @icemanbrfc I think summed it up best by saying that this has the facets of a number of fragrances in this style, all rolled into one. The performance and appeal of this are very good even without the Platine Prive comparison. I like it a lot, and I look forward to wearing it through the remainder of the summer. Edit to add: Quality packaging, quality bottle, pressurized atomizer. For the price, this is a really good pick up.

Surprisingly delicious opening. It has that fresh, gentlemanly vibe but don't think of a cheap aftershave—it's just incredibly clean and crisp. After about 20-25 minutes, the magic happens: a beautiful, creamy (and thankfully not bitter) almond note emerges. It turns the scent into a very cool, smart-casual, elegant fragrance. Picture this: a warm summer evening on a rooftop bar, or a nice lounge where you're having 2-3 Johnny Walker Black Labels with ginger ale and a slice of lemon :D. That's the vibe. Performance isn't earth-shattering, but it lasts a solid 6 hours on my skin. Your mileage may vary. It's definitely not a sillage nuke, but it projects gently. In a car or a tight space, it will occasionally hit the noses around you. NOTE: I haven't smelled L'Homme Ideal Platine Prive, so no comps with the OG. Full disclosure--I love neroli. I also don't love a prominent zesty citrus vibe. So this one had me intrigued. Yes, off the rip there is a pretty strong, fizzy citrus blast. I wasn't sure I'd like it at first. But that dies down after 5-10 minutes and that's where the beautiful, soapy/fresh/clean neroli and the smooth, creamy almond shine through. The citrus is still there, but it compliments the mid notes instead of screaming above everything else. This is the warm-weather cousin to Prada L'Homme Intense. Sophisticated, put together, clean, confident. I can't wait to see how maturation improves this one. I'm also not big into presentations, but French Avenue crushed it with this one. So if that's your thing, you will like Arsh's packaging and bottle style. Haven't had time to test longevity, but it's an extrait so I'm confident it'll last. Bottom line--an aromatic, soapy fresh citrus-supported scent that uplifts and calms.

A Remarkable All-Season Signature Scent I've been using this fragrance for a while now, and it has quickly become a staple in my collection. Nose Note #1051 This one is easy to like. All you have to know is that it is a Tygar and Imagination adjacent scent. Not a clone per se. But if it is a dupe of L’Homme Idéal Platine Privé, then I can see how Guerlain wanted to house something similar to the aforesaid bestsellers. All the perfume houses copy each other and follow the trends. So no surprises. This is still different enough from both Tygar and Imagination. I was never very fond of Tygar, it always felt annoying. This is trying to mix Tygar with Imagination, but with perhaps more emphasis on lemon (the citrus accord basically smells closer to lemon here, bitter lemon). And no tea note, and not so much ambroxan in the base. Men only. Good performance, but I haven't quite figuered it out yet. I feel like it has more potential. 7.9/10

I really enjoy this. I have not smelled the OG, but I did sample L’Homme Ideal Cologne Forte, and in my opinion this is a smoother, less abrasive citrus fragrance(which means it’s probably closer to the OG). French Avenue continues with its good oils, and while some of the notes are synthetic(newsflash, most oils in Guerlain’s L’homme line are synthetic, I own Guerlain Homme and that puppy is great, but synthetic), but it’s designer level synthetic, so it smells good and it has the expected longevity for this type of scent profile. It projects well in the first hour as well. If you’re looking for a summer fresh and clean fragrance, I’d recommend to get your nose on this. Great value, but even without taking the price into account, it is a good, citrus fresh clean fragrance.

It is a gentle and lovely fragrance that is perfect for everyday use and office environments. It is not at all sharp that it would bother anyone in the office environment. The structure of the perfume mentions bergamot, grapefruit and musk, but the scent of the perfume is actually an accord of these notes. One thing that surprised me a lot is longivity, which you can easily feel on your skin for over 12 hours. عطری ملایم و دوست داشتنی هست که برای روزمره و محیط اداری کاملا مناسبه. اصلا تند نیست که در محیط اداره باعث آزار کسی بشه. در ساختار عطر به برگاموت و گریپ فروت و مشک اشاره شده، ولی بوی عطر در واقع آکوردی از این نتها هست. نکته ای که من رو خیلی متعجب کرد، طول مدت اثر عطر هست که راحت بالای ۱۲ ساعت عطر رو روی پوست خود حس میکنید

I have not tried Platine Prive, but loved Cologne when it was available, despite not liking the others in the line due to the almond note not agreeing with me. Somehow it worked for me with the freshness of Cologne. Arsh is very much in the same wheelhouse, and to my nose, is trying to clone Cologne. I think it does a respectable job of it. Not a 1 to 1 and doesn't have the same quality or elegance as Cologne, but it'll get you there and smells very close in the air. My gal loves it as well and even got a couple unsolicited compliments wearing it. It's not perfect, but it will scratch the itch if you miss L'Homme Ideal Cologne as much as I do. Unless a better dupe comes out, this will definitely be a staple in my rotation!

This has sat for a while. Right out of the box its composition was not well coordinated; some notes stuck out like a sore thumb, so I threw it into a dark corner and forgot about it...till now. The alchemy did its thing, and now it's become this smoky, fizzy citrus soda, where the smokiness is of earthy quality. Imagine going out in the rain while drinking a lemonade and walking across a nice, slightly muddy lawn. It's moody while slightly positive, natural while buffed with modern drink, and muddy while clean. Although the contrast is apparent, it's very safe and closer to the middle than to the extremes. Overall this fragrance does not take a risk but keeps being interesting and not lacking character. Great freshie!

I love this one. I actually look forward to wearing it. If you took the simple citrus from LV's L'Immensite, and added some additional zest, florals, and a creamy, powdery backbone, this is what you would end up with. It lives in the same space as the LV, Bulgari Tygar, anything that has a simple yet dignified and rich citrus as the prominent note, but adds a level of complexity that makes it much more appealing. Performance and longevity have been really solid. It doesn't scream off my skin, but I will catch silage bubbles for a solid 8 hours, with the skin scent lasting longer. Of course, YMMV, but I find this to be a really classy, safe citrus that is incredibly enjoyable and uplifting to wear.

So, a good clone, no. The OG may be hard too replicate. We don't the get the rind-y grapefruit opening nor the distinct bitter almond base. On it's own, it is quite beautiful fizzy, refreshing citrus (and I want to say tea) fragrance. So, not the same, still very beautiful and wearing. And for the price? I would say blind buy unless you don't like citrus or tea/musky almonds. Clean, sorta soapy, refreshing. This could be a signature scent. This projects and lasts around 7-8 hours and then it's a skin scent for 2 more hours. And even if it doesn't do it the same way, Arsh hits all the spots in the best of ways with this DNA. I'm hoping they come count with a flanker of some sort.

It starts with a distinct of yuzu-like scent. Half an hour later, a very pleasant scent that is lemony and not at all sour comes to the nose. I also get a sense of a candy from this perfume. Of course, not that sweet. I mean the feeling that I catched from this perfume اولش با بوی مشخص یوزو شروع میشه. نیم ساعت بعد بوی بسیییار مفرحی که لیموئی هست و بدون هیچ گونه ترشی هم هست به مشام میرسه. یه حالتی مثل آب نبات قیچی رو هم از این عطر دریافت میکنم. البته نه اونقدر شیرین. منظورم اون حسی هست که به آدم القا میکنه .

I just it got it today and it is a decent one nothing spectacular felt like it's in between afnan turathi blue and club de nuit intense the quality of the juice is really good feels like a designer fragrance in the opening very citrusy and then settles into a high quality mix of sweet lemon with vetiver this will be good in summer I got it as a blind buy And honestly if i had tried it i wouldn't have bought it for 40$ as it is not really my taste I don't know about performance This is Overall 7.5 /10

A freshie done different. I like how the citrus is purely there to awaken the senses and not a main character. The neroli isn’t overdone and well balance. The soapy clean is more of a support than a main character as well. It’s not just soapy but slightly floral which blends well with the almond, which is the main character here. The almond is slightly creamy. Those citrus notes that faded in the beginning are subtle and behind the almond & neroli. Very well blended.

After almost 3 months of maceration i have to say that i changed my mind on this Arsh which means Throne in Arabic has grown a lot on me with time I gave it a like when i first got it and the quality was great from day one but now this gets a love from me The performance is very good for a summer fragrance i get 5 to 7 hours of longevity If you like citrus frags Arsh is Blind buy worthy 💯 After maceration This is an 8.7 out of 10 for me 😘😘

Beautiful scent from day 1. Just got this and it smells awesome! No alcohol blast like many clone fragrances before maturation. It's a nice soft, creamy, citrus, fresh scent. Probably will get better with time and last longer, for now it's projecting about a foot and a half for about 4 hours. As someone that mostly gravitates to warm, amber, vanilla scents, I'm shocked at how much I love this.

Arsh is a quality fragrance. I’m not sure what the other reviewers are smelling that smells screechy. This does smell similar to the Guerlain Cologne dna and I can definitely see where some detect Imagination. Arsh is not a powerful in your face cologne but it does make a confident statement. Perfect for office or indoor events when you want to be more discreet. For the $$ a must have.

I Absolutely love this, it's a creamy lemonade type scent. No idea if its close to Prive and i don't care because as a standalone it's really nice. Easy 10 hours on my skin with a moderate sillage and turns into an extended scent bubble after those projection hours. Looking at the notes it didn't look appealing but after wearing it, it has become my go to for the hot.

This has all the facets of Platine Prive, Edition Blanche, Ideal Cologne and also in the vain of Jimmy Choo Man Ice. This you can rock throughout the year, winter or summer, doesn't matter, it is a great fragrance. I have a 4th backup bottle on the way, that's how good i feel it is. For the $30 i paid for it, its great value for money.

Clone of Guerlain L'Homme Idéal Platine Privé. It opens with fizzy creamy sweet honeyed lemonade and orange, almost like a tea note as well but very background. This is all grounded by subtle neroli and soapy florals in the heart, with a clean musky vetiver base. It's fantastic, though I don't get any sort of almond note.

Really good. Rindy grapefruit and lemon, and some creaminess in the beginning. Into the drydown this surprisingly reminds me quite a lot of the Sauvage Elixir drydown. Smelled something very familiar before realising what it was. Well executed, good quality scent that I highly recommend. Great presentation as well.

Not sure about the longevity and projection yet, but as far as smell this stuff is awesome. Smells much more expensive than it should for it's price. Bitter citrus that gets creamy as it dries down. Mostly warm weather but could probably be OK 2.5/4 seasons

I got a 3ml sample, and wow... this is a seriously good, high-quality fragrance. Fresh, citrusy, musky, smooth, and most importantly, original. It doesn't smell like everything else out there. I'm definitely buying a full bottle.

Not your generic mainstream citrus concoction. The almond is well balanced on my skin and the reason why this scent stands out from the rest. High quality and long lasting straight out of the box. And you get a beautiful bottle!

Yes, it does smell 85% like Platine Prive, Ideal Cologne, DHC, DHS and Blanche. Because they all smell very similar. In the drydown the similarity increases to 95% with all of them. Good performance for a citrus freshie.

Spray it in anywhere, leave and come back after an hour, then you will understand how incredible the drydown is, calm lemony vanilla, and i don't know why but it smells like a smart modern Villa i cant afford.

Great scent. Did not try Platine Prive but it is very similar to lhomme ideal cologne mixed with Cool, and Aldo similar to Aoud Lemon Mint from Mancera. Citrusy almond, a bit creamy. Great one!!

Fresh citrus with a light creamy note in the background, i get a small tea vibe reminding me a bit of Lv imagination but its not the same. Overall 10/10 for the quality and presentation

As a woman who has always been interested in mostly sweet, warm and gourmand fragrances that are suitable for cold weather, I'm now on a journey of sampling as many summer fragrances as possible since I'm hoping to find the one! Arsh is a really interesting summer fragrance for me because it literally smells cool! The first time I sprayed it, I though oh! It feels like a breeze of cool air! Feel like air conditioner! After a few minutes it smells how the colour white would smell! Fresh, clean, cool, it's not sour it's not sweet, it's just light and white! It opens with a whole lot of lemon and after 5 minutes, it calms down to the most clean smell ever. After 2 hours it gets to the neroli and literally smells like a very expensive soap. But like cold soap! Vetiver makes it very sophisticated for such a cool scent. It's not something that I, a gourmand lover can fall in love with, it's just a very likable and necessary scent to get one through summer heat. I've been sampling fragrances such as tygar, turathi blue, imagination, pinnace oryn, Pacific chill, etc. and even though the smell cool, none of them feel tolerable in very hot weather. I'm guessing they are good for 20 degrees to 35 Celsius. I think Arsh is a fragrance just for the hottest days of the year, like 30 Celsius plus, you know, so much heat that you wouldn't dare spraying anything other than deodorant. For when you are sweating under the sun, and just want to smell clean and cool. This doesn't have a gender, it doesn't projects crazy but it has a small strong scent bubble for over 5 hours of longevity on clothes. I think in a month, in June, it will be that hot where I live and I can test my theory and report back.

Simple and innofensive yet with character. I purchased a 10ml sample off of e-bay as I was very interested about this perfume since I have way too many sweet/rich/potent in my small collection, the only "Summer" perfumes I have are Nusuk's Al Mukhtalif, Kenzo EdT, shiyaaka Red and Paloma Picasso's Minotaure. And I also wanted a citrus-centered perfume that does not smell like woody-salty lemon. Or Aventus and its similarities for that matter. This perfume is very comforting, the lemon in this is a ripe and sweet lemon that has very little acidity, the lemon is ripe yet it does not smell "over-ripened" or "Funky". The almond/musk in this is not nutty nor powdery, it is light, slightly creamy and "Smooth" if you will. I think it is more Musky than Almondy. Calm yet present, this perfume will be "discovered" rather than announce itself to youand those around you whenever you are wearing it. Wear it whenever you want, wherever you want and with whatever you want. Do you want to go to the grocery? Spray it. To the mall? Spray it. To work? Spray it. To a date? To a normal outing? To see your grandma? You already know the answer. Will have you smelling nice throughout your day, 7-8 hours on skin and clothes. And all of that for 50$? Yes and thank you. Do not blind buy this, always test before buying a bottle as with any other perfume. I do not know how this compares to the fragrance its cloning so on that I can not say anything. Hope you enjoy this as much as I do.

In the opening you can clearly smell the grapefruit, although it's not as strong and masculine as you find, for example, in Turathi Blue. It's probably because it's already slightly sweetened by the heart of the fragrance. After that, the almond and neroli are definitely the main players, while the grapefruit moves into the background. (Don't expect a strong almond note tho, it's very soft) In the drydown it definitely becomes much more interesting, as it softens and turns more floral and sweet. It lasts long enough to be a freshie and leaves oil marks, it's very dense. It's good if you like the DNA.

The opening is a sharp citrus, which after 10-15 minutes transitions into a sweet, creamy almond heart. This lasts for about 2-3 hours, after which the almond completely fades, and it transitions into a not-so-pleasant vetiver skin scent. The almond is very similar to Guerlain L'Homme Idéal Cologne, like 90-95%. Based on the other reviews here, I expected a long-lasting clone of L'Homme Idéal Cologne, but the longevity seems to be even worse than LHIC, + it has the sharp citrus opening and the unpleasant vetiver drydown. My bottle is 5 months old at the time of writing this review.

This is good. Not like Edition Blanche at all. More like Tygar and a distant cousin of imagination. It reminds me of one of those clones of Tygar. Not in a bad way though. Still good fragrance.

For me, Arsh is a weird combination of realistic burnt almond powder (like the smell in macaron), citrusy white floral notes Very slight sweetness, yet powdery. I cant say i like this one, but people like this alot, maybe give it a try for new experiences.

I had high hopes for this one as I love the L’Homme Idéal Cologne DNA, but so far, to me, it's nothing like it, and the opening is nothing even close to what my nose smells. I will come back to it and see if it improves

One of the few clones I have ever owned that smelled WORSE after the tried and true oxygen maturation process. Fresh from a new bottle, this was almost a dead ringer for l'Homme Idéal Platine Privé. After the maturation process, when smelled up close, this weird, sour, synthetic note overtakes the composition in the drydown. It isn't very strong, but it sticks out badly for me now. It smells like fermenting bergamot and a cheap dusty patchouli note mix. It upsets my stomach. I actually sold my bottle of l'Homme Ideal Cologne and bought an extra bottle of this based on the original scent profile when I first got a decant. It still smells good in the air, but up close it's very off-putting for me. I don't get this effect with l'Homme Idéal Cologne or Platine Privé, they both smell great up close and in the air. It is still a decent frag and other people enjoy it on me, but that note now overtakes my nose every time and it kind of ruins it for me.

I have had a lot of time with this frag since I got it a couple of months ago. It has changed and not for the better. After it fully dries down on skin it leaves a dusty synthetic patchouli note that is very obnoxious to my nose. It's so sad because the opening is spot on to Platine Privé and the dry down is too and it's so long lasting. I do not like the way it sits on my skin after a couple of hours, it's cloying and obtrusive. I'm going to try spraying it on cloth and see if it has the same reaction, I don't know if it's just my skin or what. I do not have the same issue with Platine Privé. I literally have Platine Privé on my left arm and Arsh on my right as I type this. Very sad and a huge let down as I had such high hopes and I have been putting off writing this out for a while.

I did get a full bottle, it's still oxidizing/"macerating". I can say that the hype is real for this one, smells extremely close to l'Homme Ideal Platine Privé. The opening is extremely realistic orange and lemon, almost leaning more towards l'Homme Ideal Cologne, but into the dry down, it definitely swings much closer to PP. The signature Guerlain l'Homme almond note is present, from the opening until the end. The drydown has a beautiful creamy cedar and vanilla that Platine Privé has but Ideal Cologne did not. Longevity is better than the real PP at around 8+ hours. Beautiful frag, easy 9/10 and a no brainer for summer, even at current ~$50-60 a bottle which is high for a FA fragrance. This will probably be $30-35 in a few months once supply meets demand.

Opens very similar to l'Homme Ideal Cologne, dries down more like Platine Privé; longevity is just okay for now (~6 hours), but neither of the Guerlain's had great performance. I'm optimistic that more time with air in the decant will enhance performance. Great deal for the asking price. I like this scent profile much better than Allure Edition Blanch/ EB Parfum. Can't wait to get my hands on a full bottle once this decant runs out, I'm supposed to be getting one on the mail soon. I'm honestly debating on selling my partial of l'Homme Ideal Cologne because I prefer this.
