Atlantis Extrait

Atlantis Extrait seems to hit one of two forms for people right off the rip which is either watermelon sunscreen or watermelon jolly rancher. I get a bit of both but much more towards the watermelon sunscreen end the majority of the time. To really pull the notes out here other than a creamy watermelon is tough for my nose when you get the citrus kick it leans a bit closer to the candy. It feels like a slightly effervescent watermelon the citrus itself really struggles to actually define itself. The coconut is the main secondary note that I get it feels kinda creamy and not too sweet which is what leans it towards the sunscreen or lotion side of things for me and I feel that is the note that masks the citrus into being more of the effervescent kick. The whole body of this fragrance is the sweet watermelon and to me it leans feminine the more the citrus comes through but I think it is acceptable for anyone to enjoy despite the sweetness. Even though this feels extremely linear until the base notes kick in I think the ambiguity keeps it interesting it likes to change back and forth between sunscreen and candy and in that way I feel like it tricks you a bit but I'm ok with it. Still if you'd hoped there was any development before the dry down you will not find that here it is basically the same scent from application for multiple hours. The dry down involves the scent kinda devolving a bit with the watermelon becoming somewhat indistinguishable over time maybe becoming slightly more synthetic and then it just starts to become a cacao scent as the fruitiness essentially disappears. You get almost like a 1:1 Palmer's cocoa butter vibe to it. Personally wish this warmed up or developed slightly more so it could get away from that sunscreen/lotion vibe. I'd still say in the end this remains somewhat feminine leaning but that's not law anyone could enjoy this still.

I'm not a perfume connoisseur and these are just my thoughts on this scent. I'm a big lover of coconut and watermelon individually but who knew they would smell this good together as well! I'm also so bored of all the male freshies with boring laundry detergent or shower gel notes that don't last more than 4hrs so this is a refreshing change. I don't get much of the top notes, it starts off all watermelon to me and yes it can be a little too sweet and maybe a touch synthetic but I just love watermelon so it's not an issue for me personally. My only worry was that because it's so sweet it might be considered feminine or childish for a man to wear, but throughout the day I received multiple compliments from the ladies in my office and I even asked them if it smelled girly, but they said not at all. This brings me onto the dry down which still has that watermelon but the coconut and cacao definitely become more noticeable as it takes on a softer more soothing, sweet smell, which is why it may be seen as masculine. This projects very well as I got in a friend's car and within 2 minutes she asked what I was wearing. The longevity is also outstanding as it lasted more than 8hrs on my skin and for over a week on the clothes that I wore that day. Also after I left the car, a friend of my friend's got in and immediately asked "which guy did you have in the car?" so I guess that confirms that this is definitely masculine leaning even though to my nose it's a bit feminine (maybe just because most male summer fragrances are so fresh and not sweet). Not blind buy safe unless you really like watermelon and coconut but if so then you can't go wrong.

This is hands down the longest-lasting perfume in my entire collection. Yes, I’ve received compliments , a lot of them. But it wasn’t always like that. When I first got Atlantis, the projection was actually weak. The scent was beautiful and unusual for a unisex fragrance, but it didn’t perform the way I expected. Still, something about it was so addictive and different that I decided to give it a real chance. I let it sit in the dark for four months. And oh my God... best decision ever. The transformation was insane. It developed incredible power and projection. Now it smells like sweet, slightly artificial watermelon , like those watermelon candies but blended with a fresh, almost airy vibe that keeps it from being overly sugary. It’s playful, clean, and surprisingly addictive. On my skin, it lasts a full 12 hours. I’ve never smelled Wave Child, but honestly? I don’t feel like I need to. Atlantis is a masterpiece on its own. I’ve had more than six people ask me what I’m wearing, and one person even told me I smelled like a Hollister store (in the best nostalgic way). As for it being unisex ... absolutely! And honestly? A man wearing Atlantis would be extremely interesting to me. Very unique. I would love that. Bottle design is solid too, heavy, well made, feels luxurious in the hand. This is a true hidden gem. Actually... I probably shouldn’t even be saying this. Don’t buy it!🤣 Longevity: 10/10 Sillage: 10/10 Price: 10/10 Originality: 9/10 Would I repurchase? A thousand times, yes.

Where do I even start... this one is a straight wow. From the very first spray, you get slapped (in a good way) with a juicy, fruity burst—watermelon and creamy coconut take center stage immediately. It’s bright, refreshing, and slightly sweet, with that aquatic/ozonic vibe giving it a clean, almost breezy feel. There’s also a smooth lactonic creaminess underneath that blends everything together, making it feel rich without being heavy. This is potent stuff. Projection is no joke here—this fragrance announces itself. You really have to respect the strength. I’d say one spray per arm and maybe one on the chest is more than enough. Anything more and you’re entering headache territory (learned that the hard way). Definitely avoid the back of the neck unless you want to choke yourself out all day. As it settles, you start picking up a warm sweetness from the amber and a slight cacao touch that adds depth, keeping it from being just another fresh aquatic. It stays playful, fruity, and creamy while still feeling bold and attention-grabbing. Performance is strong, compliments come easy—but again, control your sprays. This isn’t one you can go wild with. Overall: a solid, standout fragrance. Unique, powerful, and addictive when worn right. Rating: 4.5/5 – easy buy, just don’t overspray.

Better than the reviews described! Yes, you get the orange and watermelon in the opening. They're quickly joined by the coconut creaminess and amberwood smoothness. I would almost swear there's sandalwood in this fragrance. Performance...my goodness. I haven't had a fragrance that performed this amazingly nuclear since "Bharara - King"!! Two to four sprays last 6 hours, fills a room and leaves a trail two minutes long behind you. From the opening to the drydown it's just the most pleasant scent. Not too bubblegumy, not too sunscreeny and not screechy at all!! And the frag just stays and stays and stays... it'll stay with you overnight if you put on 6 sprays across your body. It's amazing...simply amazing. I'm wearing it in the winter cold and i can pick up on the aquatic tones at the core just like "Invictus aqua". Amazing right now, i can only imagine how awesome this will be in the heat! I've gotten nothing but straight compliments on this from literally EVERY person that's come close to me, behind me, beside me, anywhere...its crazy. In my years of collecting...i have only come across a fragrance that checks all the boxes like this twice before. In all honesty, I am buying two more bottles before anything changes or it goes out of stock worldwide like "tabac exclusif" did.
