Hi everyone, I really love this fragrance — it has a very special warm character and, in my opinion, it is one of those rare scents appreciated by both women and men. Truly a remarkable perfume. Lately it seems to be becoming harder to find, and I have been wondering whether anyone else has experienced issues related to bottle quality or the atomizer. I am asking this only because I genuinely admire this scent and would like to understand whether what I experienced may have been an isolated batch issue. Have any of you encountered: atomizers not working properly, leaking, or not fitting correctly? bottles arriving with soaked cellophane, as if perfume had leaked out before opening? bottles arriving nearly empty or with the fragrance apparently evaporated? damaged bottles where the top/collar separated from the bottle itself? I have purchased this fragrance three different times through wholesale channels because there has been demand for it, and unfortunately all three times I encountered damaged-box situations. At first it looked like only a packaging issue, but I started suspecting leakage from defective bottles may have caused the fragrance to evaporate before arrival. Because I truly appreciate this perfume, I am trying to understand whether this could have been a batch-related issue or whether others have seen something similar. Has anyone here — collectors, buyers, retailers, or distributors — experienced anything like this? Any distributors or retailers here who have handled Axis, I would especially value your input. If anyone has had similar observations, please let me know here — I would sincerely appreciate hearing your experiences. Thank you very much!

Well I decided to stay away from this perfume judging it from the reviews on here, to then realise I had ordered it by mistake. To my surprise I love it, I think it might need to masserate for a week or two to help with the projection though mine isn't beast mode yet. The plum adds sweetness to the vanilla along with a hint of patchouli, and it's deep resinous base notes are such a nice mix. I don't have anything that smells like it either. I'm happy customer, Im glad it was ordered by mistake. I get not everyone likes everything but I wanted to add my review so it's not just getting hate. People all have different noses and this isn't your generic designer fragrance, it's polarising but I feel still very likeable to those that want something different.

Holy moly this is good !! 😍 The plum note rounds up the whole scent profile. Beautiful done. It’s spicy, sweet, gorgeous. Well blended. This Will be one of my favorite this fall/winter, no doubt 👏🏻

Nose Note #933 It's like an even more feminine version of Notes Jazz, i.e. Althair, but made for women. Axis is more vague though. It's just a woody-ambery-creamy something and nothing at the same time. It's not standing out to me. It is pleasant and definately would suit a woman better, but it's nothing exciting for me. But it will find appreciation among women that look for a non-offensive warm woody-ambery elegant scent that could actually work all year round. Yeah, in a way it's very good Leaning feminine. Not quite strong. Sillage varies from limited to medium. 7.4/10, not bad at all

There’s one thing you need to remember: let this perfume macerate. It only shows up fully after at least one month after you macerate it, but then you would probably have a beautiful, warm and charming scent that totally unique, unisex with great longevity.

This smells a little like liquid brun, however; that one is much better. This one, to my nose, smells like wood chips in a hamster cage.LOL! I do not like it.

@statursro I just received mine, batch is 05/2025. It was not leaking or anything, but it wasn't placed exactly in it's place. The cap was openned, but in place. When i slipped the bottle out, i didn't see that the cap was open so it fell along with the atomizer. I guess the atomizer was not sitting in place correctly and it still doesn't sit/fit correctly, with a small gap under but it works just fine. I can see these issues happening during shipping with the way the package is arranged inside. It is a nice creative bottle and packaging and a nice experience when you unbox it but i can see how it can be problematic during shipping, being moved around. In the same delivery package though, i got Zenith Tobacco, which was leaking a bit, even though i never received a leaking bottle of French Avenue perfumes before.

Smells of dark juicy plums and a rich, warm vanilla. The labdanum is present and lends to it smelling earthy and woody, which can come across as 'dusty' to some noses, (my bf said this smells like a dusty box in the attic that someone spilled prune juice on). I think it smells amazing and is in my top 3 of cold-weather fragrances I acquired this season.(Teriaq Intense & an Amber Nuit Espirit clone are the others). It's not super fruity or a gourmand; this is for those that like dark, sultry, unisex scents. It’s sweet & resinous, no spice or smoke.

Really don't like this for a woman, definitely for a male, just a strong boring scent, can't work out any notes, just a mess
