Azzure Oud

"Blind" bought this having tried oud maracuja before, it's a scent you can't forget once you smell again. I'd say out of the box this is 90-95% accurate like people say, opening is almost undetectably 1:1, drydown. However, feels like there's a tad more maracuja in this than the OG and perhaps slightly less oud than others have mentioned, but i need to test side by side to determine this + let it mature for a bit. Pretty much you won't tell the difference, the price is a no-brainer, performance is out of this world. I will have to mention i tried oud maracuja about 1.5 years before trying the clone, but as i said, once you've smelled it, it is stored in your mind forever, a very unique, passionate and lovely scent. I will say you HAVE to keep to 1-2 sprays and no more, otherwise you will gas everyone including yourself, the projection can't be taken lightly. The only downside is you will have to be very cautious to where and when to wear this, since a lot of people will not like it, i wouldn't even be offended to smell this pass me in summer. It's a bit shocking how much noses can differ, my introduction to oud was laughably tom ford's oud wood, which is very woody and a lot less oudy, oud maracuja was basically my 2nd fragrance as an introduction to this niche, i loved it immediately. It's only later on i found out it's an acquired taste, i even suggested it to a friend of mine claiming he would love it. He blind bought oud maracuja, and just like me loved it, although he didn't like that the maracuja was pungent and overwhelming in the opening, but then he loved it 15 minutes later as it dried down, anecdotally he took a shower right after, not particularly due to the fragrance, he just wanted to try it out as he was hopping in for a shower, of course it didn't wash off and it's when he also fell in love with it. it's a master piece, i will give the clone a 9/10 and the OG a 10/10. If you love this and have the money to burn, i would buy oud maracuja, since it's a very situational fragrance and spray should be limited to a minimum, it will last for a very long time.

I got a 2ml decant of Maison Crivelli Oud Maracuja in the last few weeks and I've loved it, I've gone through more than half of it already. I adore TF Ombre Leather, but I could never be a fan of fruity leathers like Tom Ford Tuscan Leather, PDM Godolphin or Rasasi La Yuqawam. Turns out I just don't like the raspberry. Today I got to sample this in a local shop and it does a few things that I think make it a little more 'wearable'. I liken this scent profile between Oud Maracuja and Azzure Aoud to the Red Bull Tropical in the yellow can, caffeine included, with a leathery depth that's sports car crisp but a little skanky and dirty sexy. Oud Maracuja is like your third drink of the night, that Red Bull Tropical's citric acid is going to burn with on your tongue, and you're going until the morning. I think Azzure Oud is a bit more sociable and friendlier, like it's served on ice in a glass. It's still got some dirtiness to it, but it's a very pleasing alternative to 'jammy' or 'citrusy' leathers or while taking a bit more of an ambitious animalic bite. I find it also has a bit less oud and a bit more leather compared to Oud Maracuja, though its gains are more in the cleaner presenting half of the leather accord. It's not playing it safe, but its not as provocative as Oud Maracuja. Longevity is incredible and potent, equal to Oud Maracuja but perhaps muskier in the driest hours, you might get hit some stank when you wake up if you apply this in the evening. Honestly, I think a lot of debate around this fragrance is people blind buying this after enjoying Liquid Brun, and not knowing what they got themselves into. It's definitely more of a thrillseeker's blend, it's quite electric and energizing, and it's not for everyone. Certainly is for me though. I'm really curious to see how this plays with my taste in high heat because this speaks much more to my warm weather interests than cool. This also makes me really want to see someone come out with a prickly pear leather (perhaps with a bit of lemon in the top).

Okay, All these reviews of this fragrance are complete bull. If you're Arab, or have been exposed to their culture, you'd know that Oud is a vital point of their culture. Whether it's bakhoor, attars or perfumes, you name it. Now, im not going to discriminate, but all these reviews saying that it smells like ''burnt-rubber'' clearly aren't from an Arab or South West Asian background. They haven't handled real oud lol. And it goes for every fragrance with oud. I guarantee you there'll be someone who says the classic ''rubber'' claim. Now enough background talk, let's get into the fragrance. Azzure Aoud got rid of the initial roughness of Oud Maracuja and amped up the passionfruit and fruity notes by a bit more to make it appeal more. It is a 96% clone of Oud Maracuja. It opens up with the iconic passionfruit note, then the saffron, the oud and leather. From there, the oud and leather blend together to make the base of the fragrance, making it a bit more wearable, with a slight tone of the initial rose and tropical notes at the background. This perfume is NOT blind-buy safe at all. It is NOT mass appealing, as I said, it's a very, very subjective fragrance. This fragrance in my opinion is to be used as a personal scent.It is also VERY strong, so don't spray more than 4 or even being generous, keep It at 3. For me, it'd be a 9.5/10.

Tbh I don’t know why a lot of these negative reviewers buy clones. As a buyer of clones, you should know that sometimes these fragrances need days, weeks, or even months to mature to what they were meant to be. That’s part of the deal, that’s why we get these for $30, and people just seem to forget that. Also, this is not an entry level oud fragrance. If you don’t like oud or you’re not accustomed to it, you won’t like this. Now for the scent, when I first opened this it was a bit shocking, not gonna lie. I would say I have a high tolerance to these niche/non mass-appealing scents but this was definitely harsh the first week. I forgot about it for a few weeks, and when I got back to it, WOW. This stuff is beautiful. The passion fruit with the oud are the main accords I pick up and it is fantastic. The fact that this is currently rated at 3.98 is baffling. My guess is that most of the negative reviews are from people that don’t like oud and were hoping this would be their introduction. This is definitely not good to ease into appreciating oud. You have to be fond of oud to appreciate this scent, although if you do, you will love this. Tldr; This should be at least a 4.3 If you enjoy oud and sweet fruity fragrances, you will love this. If you don’t like oud, this is not a good introductory fragrance.

This is one of the most unique DNAs I’ve ever tested in perfumery, and I’ve tried a lot of niche fragrances! Azzure Oud opens on my skin with a more subtle passion fruit, very sweet, but instantly accompanied by an overdose of leather, saffron, and oud. It’s resinous, animalic, and extremely woody, this is for those who want a virile and modern fragrance. What impressed me the most here was its evolution. In the first couple of hours, it stays heavily focused on the darker, heavier notes. But at least on my skin, after about three hours, the passion fruit comes back to life! The heavier animalic notes calm down, and what remains is an extremely natural fruit aroma, it’s like cutting open a ripe passion fruit and smelling the inside. I didn’t expect the fruity note to resurface at the end, very good. Another strong point is the performance. This is maximum projection and longevity, you will definitely be noticed. Be careful with the sprays and the weather. Unfortunately, I haven’t had the pleasure of trying the original yet, but based on this interpretation, I can tell this is a fragrance unlike anything else, made for those who already have a lot of olfactory maturity. If you’re not into more animalic and woody notes, don’t come in unprepared! 9/10 (10 only for the original)

If this is a dupe of oud maracuja then I have high expectations of the OG fragrance. To me the thing that stands out about this fragrance is the passionfruit in the opening which at first smells slightly synthetic or it might be the oud that comes through at first but as the fragrance opens up a lot more, the passionfruit note smoothens out over time making it pleasant to smell. I might change my mind on the fragrance as I've had it for a few hours so my review may change in time but so far I enjoy it Performance on the other hand, I believe I've become noseblind a little but because it is quite strong in my opinion and projects like crazy with 3 sprays. I recommend trying it out first instead of blind buying it as people have mixed opinions. Update 1: So once you get through the candy like passion fruit in the opening. The smells becomes woody and leathery in the base but there's still that hint off passionfruit in the background which really adds to the fragrance. The passionfruit can get sickly as it's the first thing you'll literally get with with. As I said earlier trying this out is a must as people might get put off by the passionfruit

Incredible fragrance. When first purchased I could not stand it. Found it way too fruity, synthetically sweet and flat. After about 2 months it has become my favourite out of 50 bottles that I own. I can't get enough of it. It is now multi dimensional with more tolerable sweetness, an incredible creamy leather and dusty woods. Excellent projection and performance. I've tested it a few times side by side with the OG and I actually like this one more. It is somehow more well rounded and complete than the OG in my opinion. Might be slightly more creamy I guess ? Don't get me wrong, you have to like this scent profile or really be open minded to consider buying this. It is very niche. A unique and odd scent but magical if you are pursuing artistic perfumery. When it comes to comparison to OG, French avenue have absolutely nailed it. Absolutely makes the OG redundant after a short period of "maturing". Another tip, spray from a foot away so the juice disperses over a large are of your skin. I personally find that it smells more complex and multidimensional that way.

Potent oud scent, absolutely NOT for beginners or the otherwise unaccustomed. This is not a subtle western oud at all - and the passionfruit doesn't do much to mask its power, especially in the opening when it's turned up as far as it can go. After a while the oud calms down *slightly* and more of the passionfruit comes out, but don't expect a gentle fruity scent here at any point. Obviously this is a dupe for Oud Maracuja from the always interesting Maison Crivelli. I haven't smelled the original yet, but I do know that their Cuir Infrarouge (one of my all time favorites) could easily be described as a more wearable, dialed back version of OM. If you smell this and like the idea but find it to just be a bit too much, give CI a shot. On that note, Fragrance World did a two fragrance collab with YouTuber Aromatix/Neeb and one of those, Carnal Desire, is as close to 1:1 Infrarouge as a scent could possibly be, so there's a high quality alternative to that scent as well if the niche price tags are too much to ask.

Portanto, o Azzure Aoud não é um perfume para principiantes ou que ainda tenham poucos perfumes, devido a sua baixa versatilidade. Trata- se de um perfume muito bem construído e com uma similaridade na casa dos 85% com o Oud Maracujá. O Oud Maracujá abre com uma nota da fruta mais natural e evidente. Mas à medida que vai secando a fruta some e so sinto o cheiro do couro e do Oud. Porém, no Azzure Aoud, é um perfume mais linear. Ele vai mantendo a nota da fruta e um Oud mais confortável de usar que a sua inspiração. Se voce cheirou o original e gostou, pode comprar sem medo. Esse é um perfume para quem nao esta preocupado com elogios.

A fruity opening is the jab, the barnyard stank is the cross. A knock out every time. The fruit fades but the stank stays. This is not for cowards or those who are unsure of themselves. This is not a smooth and subtle oud, this is straight up cow-patty-pungent, and I gotta say, I sort of love it. I can’t tell if I feel dirty or sexy, (maybe both?) but I feel...something. It’s not male nor female, but rather just filthy. I would say, probably not a safe wear to the office unless you are just totally unconcerned about other people. It’s strong and people will be very divided about if you smell like a sexy beast or just beast of burden. Fecal is not to strong a word, but its not too weak a word either. Not everyone will love it, but for the bold or the bovine, this is a very interesting pickup, especially at the price. Highly recommend, if nothing else for the pure joy of figuring out what to do with it.

This fragrance is so addictive. From the first spray on this perfume makes me feel confident, attractive and yet a little playful and inviting. I've worn the original OM, which is obviously a higher quality juice with more richness and depth. Considering the price, Azzure Oud is a phenomenal clone that i adore. The scent is a beautiful, addictive passionfruit with a lot of leather and a hint of oud. I'm not kidding when i say that when i smell the opening, i get goosebumps and can't not smile. Since i love unique and a bit polarizing scents, this will be a staple in my small collection. Performance is also outragous. One day i did 6-7 sprays, it lasted literally for the whole day. The next day i sprayed Emeer (also a beast performer). The day after i went to the gym, i started to sweat and then suddenly i felt a scent bubble around me. It was Azzure Oud. After 60 hours. I'm not joking.

I've never smelled the OG, but this is stunning! Like said before, You must love this scent profile. Otherwise it's a waste of time to write a negative review... First spray was harsh and massive burnt wood jumped out of my skin but the fruit was in the background. Sour-sweet maracuja (i didn't know what it could be like, never smelled a raw fruit) Slowly, after 20-30 minutes the burnt wood (which I like though) fades and the fruit note becomes prominent. The whole balance between those makes it perfect for me. Absolutely unique and stands out from the boring fragrance crowd. I don't think it's just for cold weather or outdoor. Heavy, loud and strong but if you rock it, you rock it. Well done French avenue, see you next time at Cocoa Morado :)

Smells like ombre nomade with purple fruit at the top. EXTREME performance and longevity. I sprayed this four times on my girlfriend and still smell it after two days. It overpowers the other fragrances i spray on her, just with the one spray that was left on her sweater. I love the smell of it surprisingly. It's fantastic, and i guess that's because i have a trained nose. I believe this is awesome for winter time. I haven't smelled actual ombre nomade, but i have smelled proper clones of it and another one of oud maracuja, and yes, oud maracuja smells extremely similar to ombre nomade except with the sweet fruity purple candied top notes. I updated my rating from 3 stars to 5 stars. This is a niche fragrance, so it's divisive.

You can definitely tell who’s tried Oud Maracuja and who hasn’t in these reviews. It’s a super strong oud, not meant to be easy or popular. It’s for people who are used to and enjoy oud. You’ll find a fruity, dirty earthy oud here, and for oud lovers you will enjoy this. I went through a full sample of the original before picking up this clone, and it’s almost 95% the same, almost identical. You can’t wear this in the heat without offending a few noses because, as I said, the oud is very oudy and can be jarring. This DNA is meant to be enjoyed in the cooler months, and I can’t wait to wear it when it cools down. It’s a very good value perfume, and I recommend sampling it before buying it. I’d rate it 10/10 clone.

I own both Art of Nature 1, Azzure Aoud and a sample of Oud Maracuja. I hate Art of Nature 1. I love Azzure Aoud! Hit reminds me of Oud Maracuja in almost every way. I would say it’s 90% close and by far the best clone I’ve tried, replicating Oud Maracuja. Azzure Aoud opens up a little less fruity, at least less passionfruity. After an hour or so they become almost identical on my skin and around 7-8 hours in, the leather kicks in and shines for the rest of the time. It is really solid guys! The hype around this one is real! I get 11 hours easily with 1 single spray! And a big projection. So the difference: Azzure Aoud has less passion fruit in the opening and the leather kicks in 6-7 hours into the fragrance.

Wow! Now this is what I want in a fragrance! This is STRONG and OUD is beast mode in this!!! But so are the fruit notes, which admittedly I felt was difficult to imagine prior to actually smelling it but I'm so pleased that I did. If you're an oud lover you'll love this! Note: it's not animalic like Oud Isphahan. It's not a dirty oud either. But it is strong oud. First few hours the passion fruit and ouds mix beautifully and settles to a great beast leather dry down, with fruits still playing background support. Beautifully done! If you're into blues, or mass appealing fragrance this is likely not for you. I want a few bottles of this in case they try to change it. This is gorgeous!

Initial impressions: I underestimated the prominence of the passionfruit note in this fragrance, especially when smelled up close. I was expecting a fruitier Ombre Nomade, but didn't realize just how much the fruity notes would linger and dominate. They're top notes, after all, but boy do they last. 😳 I'm not a fan of tropical fruit, so that's a problem for me. That said, it's a quality fragrance, and I like it enough to give it a chance. So, we'll see. 🤞🏻 Day 2: It's growing on me. Though the passionfruit dominates up close, it blends beautifully with the oud in the air. Day 3: Okay, I get it now. It's great stuff. 😁

I got it because of sampling oud maracuja,overall I understand arabic perfumery and this wasn’t disappointing . Oud maracuja is still richer and lil different but they’re route is kind of same. Heavy and strong , not for kids . Oudy , not for Versace eue de fraiche’s. Vibe is not dark because of Passion fruit but its a punchy smell. I see some of blue talisman look here. I got compliments from men and women wearing it in cloudy windy days. (Double time from one women in nice 3 months time period) (not gf) Be careful with it and wear black or Dark Blue . Don’t scream , be confident. 2-4 sprays is enough. Longlasting!
