I've read through the reviews of this fragrance and only one of those descriptions matches closely to what I get when wearing it. I've had it for over a year and I usually try to wait until I have had plenty of time with something before I leave a review, unless it just blows me away and then I'll go ahead and state those facts. This one didn't blow me away, but as I spent more and more time with it and as it macerated for several months it definitely has grown on me. Here's the impression that I get when wearing this fragrance. Upon application I definitely get cherry and red fruits, but it's not black cherry. It's a very bold red cherry, berry combo that is mixed in the opening with a polished black leather accord. This is not an abrasive brown, rugged leather but a smooth, dark and bold leather. Once the fruits start to recede a little bit then you start to notice the moss in the leather accord making it slightly less rubbery than in the opening. Lastly you will notice the very powdery iris note mixing in with the fruits in the top. So from the late opening through the rest of the wear which is the majority of the time you experience it, it comes across as a very bold cherry and red berry accord that ends up very powdery because of the iris accord. Then underneath it you have a black, airy but very polished leather accord like that of a brand new $500 guess leather jacket or even like my leather motorcycle jacket and pants. It's that type of leather, and it's actually very refined and I don't have anything else like it. I think it's a great formal occasion type of fragrance and possibly even a good date night fragrance if they have a developed scent pallet. Beginners aren't going to enjoy it very much from my view, but I guess it depends on the beginner. I enjoy it a lot and it's a worthy addition to my collection. It is not a clone of any of Tom Ford's cherry forward fragrances or any others you may have experienced, for that matter. It's a complex scent of notes that definitely sound chaotic on paper but work well together in practice. Which still doesn't mean this is for everyone, but its definitely better than the notes make it out to be. The notes here are accurate. This is a rather unusual and very powerful leather/fruit/fougere hybrid fragrance full of fruity, leather, herbal, floral and vanilla aromas. Cherry, leather, oakmoss and vanilla are the standout notes. The cherry note is quite strong and may come off as candy or cough syrup to some noses. Combine that aroma with both a strong leather note and a strong oakmoss note that would make classic fougeres like Paco Rabanne Pour Homme and Oscar de la Renta Pour Lui feel inadequate, and you have an extremely powerful -- but potentially very polarizing -- fragrance. Though the beautiful presentation may lead you to believe this is a feminine fragrance, some women might actually find it leans too masculine for them. This is very much a love it or leave it type of fragrance. This takes a lot of confidence to wear. If you love it as I do, you'll find a rewarding and insanely powerful performer. Highly recommended.

Inky, Cherry, Leather, Mossy, Floral MASTERPIECE I read a lot of bad reviews on this fragrance. I was apprehensive to buy it. I looked at the notes, and just could not resist myself. I pulled the trigger and got a 100 ml. bottle. I was NOT disappointed with my decision. The reviews that state that the cherry in this is a bit medicinal.... ACCURATE.... But in a Gorgeous way. Here is why- The medicinal aspect in this expression of cherry, is rounded out, deepened, and smoothed over with the vanilla, moss, and supple leather notes in the base of this fragrance. Picture this... It is a cool autumn afternoon, but not TOO cool for a convertible drive with the top down. You are sitting in the seat of a vintage convertible Jaguar coupe, with leather seats. You are in a soft, aged, leather bomber jacket, with your sunglasses on, as the warm autumn sun shines through the remaining morning fog, lifting from the mossy, sweet scented leaves that lay on the road all around you. You pull over, on a gorgeous overlook, on the winding road you are driving through the mountains, and open the bag beside you with your breakfast, that consists of a syrupy, sugary, vanilla and cherry pastry. You step from your car, close the door, and lean against the side of your coupe. The sun warms the leather of the car, and your jacket, as you lift the pastry to your mouth, and the warm, steaming scent of vanilla and cherry surround you, as the scent of soft, sunheated leather floats in the air, carried on the mossy scent of autumn leaves..... That is Chaos Extrait. It is a treat. It is classy. It smells EXPENSIVE (but is not). It is complex. It paints an experiential picture as its cloud of scent surrounds you. It will transport you. I highly recommend this masterpiece. It is not an easy reach. But, it is a reach you will not regret grabbing for.

When first unboxing this fragance, I won't lie, it smelled like a rubber factory, very plastic-ey. It was hard to wear the first couple days because that smell was extremely overpowering. After a couple weeks it smoothed down, the plastic smell is only there when you first spray it and goes away fairly fast. It starts with a very jammy, fruity leather that isn't sweet at all, like smelling a jar of raspberry jam from a distance, the leather is fairly strong but as it dries down it becomes a very supple, delicious smelling leather, it gains a sweetness and softness from the vanilla and iris. For me this lasts about 6 hours on my skin and lasts weeks on my clothes (I like to spray it on jackets because of the leather smell). It's a fragrance that's definitely not a safe blind buy but smells very classy, it smells like someone who just came out of their luxury car, that air of fresh car. At first I hated and regretted buying it after a month of buying it, I'm really enjoying it! I highly recommend it!

This is so different but common in the same time the leather is rubbery not animalic which is great for my taste i had tried dior homme parfum 2014 i didn't like it because of the animalic leather this is a great scent if you're into dark smokey leather fragrances the cherry is barely noticeable id say its more of a smoked cherry less medicinal more aggressive type a great buy if you like heavy leather fragrances ( this was a risky blind buy for me ) ( but i kinda like it :/)

opening is a nice sweet cherry and leather. its like a suede leather smell that becomes stronger in the drydown with a bit of the cherry and iris. Smells of good quality and is unique. Lasted 10 hours on my skin with moderate projection. I tested as a decant and am considering a full bottle. I enjoy this scent, but not blind buy safe. Edit- I did end up getting a full bottle and I still enjoy it months later

It feels like Tom Ford Electric Cherry tried to be Cherry Punk and missed the mark, turning into something entirely different. Instead of Cherry Punk, it comes across as Cherry Pop-rock. What stands out first is a medicinal cherry, followed by a soft leather accord stained with a milky, creamy chocolate nuance—possibly vanilla. It’s not overly sweet, and despite its quirks, I find it fairly versatile.

Cherry + Leather + Iris...this is fantastic! The leather is giving black leather jacket vibes (smooth, crisp) and the cherry is tart vs being overly sweet. The iris really becomes noticeable in the drydown and gives this an almost sultry punch. Very impressed!

I may be the only one.. but this smells like a sexy cherry lollipop to me. A gentle leather note emerges in the dry down as the candied cherry fades, but this still leans feminine to my nose. Will be really pretty for winter!

a beautiful smoky leather scent with hints of fruits and sweets, i'm a huge leather fan so i love it !

*UPDATE* I sold my bottle. Nothing wrong with it at all--it is beautiful, it is a very warm cherry, leathery, sexy fragrance I just wasn't grabbing for it regularly. That being said, if I see it out and about for under $20--I'd buy it again. _____________________________________________ Hyped to the ceiling? 100%--but this is a decent fragrance with a unique enough DNA which: thank the heavens! If you have Khair, like the OG grayish bottle--that fragrance is this fragrance just a tad bit sweeter. My husband disagrees so take that for what it is. Expecting sweet because of the cherry/red fruits notes? Stop. I get such a small amount--if any--of cherry or fruits, and I get ALL the leather and moss. Like, the entire world's worth of leather and moss. It's not bad, but I was expecting something sweeter so it throws me off. Imagine you are a marketing exec and are presenting a pitch to the board. You want a fragrance that is confident, but not something that is going to over-power the room. You want to respect those in attendance and recognize their positions. This is what you would wear. Or maybe you're going on a second date somewhere intimate--dim lighting, close conversation, maybe some music--your date is going to be near to you. This fragrance isn't juvenile, no, this is mature. You don't chase, you let things come to you. This fragrance isn't going to make you stand out, but it will get you noticed. A bit redundant for my collection, so I'll be selling my bottle.

Very dark tart syrupy cherry opening, do get a hint of mixed berry in the first 15 mins with it, however unlike most cherry perfumes this cherry actually lasts until the dry down and past it. Towards about 30ish minutes a buttery soft iris comes out with some Sake (rice wine) & a boozy aspect that stays, after 1 hour I got the heavy leather and this all blended well with the rest, 8.9/10 so far need to update on longevity so far 5 hrs in we strong, not like cherry smoke, or lost cherry, the cherry is compareble to cherry punks but not exact

I love cherry as a note and I received 5mls to test of it. Its a pretty fragrance esp once you get past the synthetic opening but I have to confess that it is not my favourite cherry fragrance in my collection. The leather is quite prominent in the dry down or me and that is a no no note for me on most occasions - although done well its chefs kiss. I think if the cherry and vanilla had been turned up in this for me it would be a winner.

The fragrance has a very nice scent, with cherry and leather as the main notes I can detect. I hope it lasts longer over time because the sillage and longevity of the perfume were disappointing.

I like it. Cherry, Leather and Vanilla scent that has Iris undertone. Cooler weather and evenings out. Slightly more masculine leaning.

Cherry with leather and rubber mix. Not bad

The opening is honestly rough. To me it smells like burnt rubber. If you spray it, don't judge it for at least the first 3 minutes. After that, it settles into a leather scent. I barely get any cherry, so I'm not sure why everyone lists it as a dominant note. Leather is definitely the star here. Unfortunately, it's a disappointing leather. This was a blind buy based on a friend's recommendation, and I expected much more. If I'm wearing a leather fragrance, I want something like Tom Ford Ombre Leather, where the leather feels rich, luxurious, and deep, almost like the smell of a premium Italian leather sofa. This one feels much more one dimensional. More like smelling a regular leather wallet than a luxury leather experience. That said, it's still wearable. It's not a bad fragrance at all, just not the kind of leather I was hoping for. Maybe it just needs some time. I'm writing this only an hour after receiving the bottle, so I'll let it macerate and give it another chance. Update: Overall, it's an extremely subtle fragrance. Sometimes I honestly forget I'm even wearing it. The weird thing is that the longevity is actually great, but the scent is so soft that you have to go looking for it to appreciate what it's doing. I wore it for a full day. I never really felt like I was wearing anything special, but it's definitely easy to wear. It's the kind of fragrance I'd reach for on an ordinary day when I don't want to think too much about what I'm wearing. Personally though, I expected more, so it was a bit disappointing.

Nose Note #1001 Strawberry+cherry thick jam. Very candy-like. Very sweet, super strong, super projecting. In terms of beast gourmands - this is a leader. Synthetic? Well... One think that comes to mind is Atlantis, it's similarly synthetic, in terms of smelling like a candy flavouring. It does not smell naturalistic, but it's not like it's disgustingly unnatural. My wife really likes the sillage of this. I must say, this smells much better in the air than upclose. Upclose it's really not very nice. It is a heavy scent, but not like a leather or oud dominant scent is heavy. This is heavy purely because it's very sweet and the strawberry-cherry accord is very pronounced and very loud. It definitely has a niche appealing and it's not a safe blind buy. Definitely more feminine. I can't wear this. VERY strong. VERY projecting. 7/10, it is interesting, but not fit for men. I haven't tried anything quite like this, it is rather unique

This is, indeed, a chaotic fragrance. I was hoping for cherry - vanilla - leather. What I got was leather - moss - cough syrup. As it settles, it is a maelstrom of notes and I really did not enjoy my first impression experience of it. However, as it calms down, it does become a softer, gentler leather with cherry. It’s unisex, I guess - wear what you like. I should have been more prepared. This isn’t a fruity, friendly little bottle of happy-go-lucky spray-as-you-like fragrance. I will need to consider where and when I wear this. Performance is decent, it’s relatively loud, it’s great value for money. I need more time to consider this one.

Such a weird but addictive smell. I hate this so much that i just love it. Smells like a row of faux leather bags and jackets in an ultra cheap clothing store while the store also has a faint cherry smell in the air. Very synthetic not really a pleasant but in between a stinky and pleasant fragrance and very feminine leaning. 10/10, would not recommend.

Just blind bought it. I don't love it but at the same time i don't hate it. The opening is very strong smells like cherry cough syrup and chemicals, but once it's dried down the smells is very cherry fruity and a hint of floral. I don't get any vanilla notes at all. Not a safe blind buy. Should had ordered a tester first 😩

Thankfully I did not risk it and got a decant before blind buying the whole bottle, because yes, as much as I like the initial spray, the berry notes disappear fast and especially on the clothes I am left with not-so-smooth leather and the smell of auto repair shop. Maybe I should just get the real Cherry Punk..

I bought this after hearing good things also because I love cherry and leather fragrances also because I love other fragrances from the extrait line. It started with cherry and berries that was very strong but it smelled like cough medicine, a bit later the leather came in nicely but the cough medicine smell was too strong and gave me nausea and had to wash it off. It’s not a bad fragrance it’s simply not for me due to the strong cough medicine part. Definitely not a safe blind buy.

Possibly the most disappointing fragrance I've bought this year. Opens with almost a cough syrupy, medicinal fruitiness with the red fruit note overpowering the cherry note, however, that's soon blown apart by the leather note which rapidly dominates everything. This is not to say it's a bad fragrance, if you like heavy leather dominant fragrances then this would be ideal, but for me the balance just feels off.

The cherry note vanishes within 30 minutes, leaving only a faint trace in the air. Soon after, the leather accord shifts abruptly into the scent of heavy-duty grease. It instantly reminds me of my father’s old toolbox—mechanical, industrial, and unmistakably utilitarian. While I don’t dislike it, I’m certain I don’t want to smell like a mechanic’s workshop. TLDR: Utterly chaotic.

Cherry only lasts the First couple of minutes, after that It smells to me like melting Rubber. I can't find ir attractive at all, this one Is just not for me, not a safe blind buy imo. I'll update If i ever use it again.

Opens up with a cherry note that fades really fast (in my opinion). Settles down into this animalic(ish) leather. Imo it has the DNA of cherry punk, but cherry punk is done way way way better. A pass for me.

Only perfume that I’ve ever really regretted buying. Copped it when it first dropped because I’m a big fan of cherry fragrances and thought DANG this smells like leathery ass, maybe I just need to let it mature. About 2-3 months later, smells slightly less like ass but still DISGUSTINGLY leathery. Scent: As I mentioned previously, it just smells like I’m sniffing heavy leather with the lightest tinge of powder and medicinal cherry. Could just be my bottle or maybe I somehow bought a fake but my fragrance sources have never failed me so I doubt they did this time. Maybe this really is just the scent profile but if so it’s just not for me. Performance: Disgustingly powerful as you might assume from a self-proclaimed extrait like I couldn’t wash it off my skin and everyone in the room could smell it kinda powerful which is truly a shame. IF ONLY IT SMELLED BETTER it would be amazing. Versatility: Probably better suited for the cold as that leather and cherry note would be overbearing in the heat. Did I mention it smells horrendous to me? Scent: 1/10 Performance: 10/10 Versatility: 1/10 Personal Score: 1/10 I’m still holding out hope that my fragrance just needs to mature a little more but it’s not looking good brethren. Update 30/10/25: Yeah it’s just too leathery I can’t stand it so the review stands.

The pyramid of this fragrance looked interesting to me, so I got me a 2 ml sample. Well, this smells like glue and plastics. From the start until the drydown, with a hint of sweetness after an hour. Chaotic indeed.

Gross reminds me of cherry cough syrup. Fades abit as it drys down so that i can nore easily pick up leather and cherry individually. But still not very pleasent.

I had a chance to try the fragrance (let’s call it from a blotter 😄), and I immediately recognized something very familiar, it turned out to be none other than Kirsch by Headspace. While Kirsch comes across as sharper due to saffron and sake 🍶, Chaos feels softer, smoother, and more feminine. The cherry tartness and juicy berries are clearly noticeable. The sweetness is very moderate. The leather here is very gentle and used in a very measured way. I’ll add more about the longevity later, once I have the bottle. But since it’s still noticeable on the blotter after almost a full day, I think it will last well on clothes too. I’m really curious to test it on skin and see how the fragrance unfolds directly from it.

Bought a sample hoping it's cherry punk, but it's not, but I never tried cuir infrarouge so I can't say if it's that either. what I can say is that it's NOT cherry punk, but it's an alternative, the cherry is accompanied by a raspberry gummy accord. the mid notes of violet and osmanthus are replaced with what I can only describe as a forward note of terre d' hermes' moss note, and the leather is a smoother, more plasticky coated patent leather almost. i would say it's a more feminine and refined cousin to cherry punk, smoother, more rounded and soft, less rough around the edges.

Deep cherry, thats how their & Maison Alhambra’s other cherry releases should have been. Seems to be medium quality, smells sharp, plasticky and synthetic, and it feels that it would cause trouble breathing if over-sprayed or even more than 3 sprays I dont smell leather, or any of the other notes, only one note cherry, quite linear Scent is decent, not great, 6.5/10 But due to low quality it makes it a bit unusable or difficult to use a lot, so 3.5/10 overall because of that

I ordered a sample of this fragrance, and my immediate impression was that its name, Chaos, couldn’t be more fitting – an intriguing whirlwind of notes, clashing and mingling all at once. As it settled, the composition softened, allowing the leather accord to emerge as the most distinctive element. While it’s not a bad scent by any means, I feel it deserves another round of testing to fully appreciate its character.

To my nose, this is a Guerlain Cuir Intense dupe. A very good one at that. Its longevity is exceptional and projection is very strong. This is a fantastic fragrance and I will use this alongside my original to project like a bad boy all day!

All I can smell is a cheap synthetic medicinal cherry lollipop with a hint of liquor. I have allowed it to sit for 6 months and it hasn’t developed any depth. Smells very synthetic and cheap and very sweet.

@ChrisU I wouldn’t say so. It’s in similar genre but buying it as a dupe for CI would disappoint you. Tho the fragrance itself it’s nice.

Zara fashionably london elixir simillar to me. It was unbearably heavy yet interesting until it wasnt too much.

Is this similar to Cherry Punk?? The note breakdown is similar so this is DEFINITELY a future pickup for me!! 😍
