Cocolatte Lassi

This was a struggle but eventually, it wore me down. This is basically Xandal but with a more lactonic, creamy vibe. It dials up the chocolate and eases back on the patchouli and the rum (but they are still noticeable). The issue with the scent is the yoghurt note initially comes off quite ‘funky’ and almost sour. It’s a rough 10 minutes but once I does settle, it just becomes a sweet creamy chocolate and basically becomes a softer version of Xandal which I am not mad about because I do enjoy that scent. Definitely not blind buy safe; sample where you can. But if you like Xandal or Van Py Rhum, you might like this.

Pure chocolate pouding. Not in a good way.

This is a mildly-nice, *dense*, creamy chocolate mousse *IF* smelt with *minimal* sprays and at a distance during winter, when you mentally brace yourself and are careful to only smell this at a distance. However, this VERY easily becomes gag-inducing when smelt up close. DO NOT SPRAY ON YOURSELF until you smell on paper first, otherwise you genuinely risk puking. After ~1100 scents smelt, this is the first scent to make me feel like I would gag if I kept smelling it. I actually felt a bit queasy from it. I had to mentally brace myself every time I smelt it. Thankfully I could use a tester bottle (and a paper strip and kept it for 30 mins to confirm my opinion), rather than blind buying. I have a very wide appreciation for various scents, and I'm also a gourmand lover and a chocolate lover. This is easily one of the worst fragrances I've ever smelt. Judging by the reviews below, if you happen to like this scent, you may smell extremely cloying to others around you. I'd advise to not wear this in public until you ask 10 people for their opinion on this scent to get a rough gauge for public opinion; and do NOT have them smell it after eating food!

I really dislike this fragrance, probably my worse blindbuy. I'll start with a warning: this is not a gourmand! This is not a sweet fragrance! It's weirdly dusty and yogurt like with a strong note of...hay. like dry hay in a barnyard, which makes this stink to me. I get a bit of cacao in the background and on the drydown, but it's a cocoa powder rather than milk choc type and then softened with that yogurt note. I was hoping the stinky hay opening will go away after a while, but unfortunately, even when it fades, it's there, I can still smell it. Absolutely not a safe blind buy, test it, unless you like bitter, grassy, herbal notes and non sweet cocoa scents. It's definitely original, I need to give it that. I've tried thousands of scents and never came across something like this, very challenging. I'm also considering maybe I've got a bad batch? No idea.

My first reaction to spraying this is WHAT THE F*** and then my second reaction to sniffing it again is just pure gagging. It smelled like straight up sour milk chocolate vomit, its so absolutely rancid and offensive, that yogurt note is a curse. I don't really know what else to say, it's rare I ever smell anything this offensive in a perfume.

This reeks, plain and simple. I get the chocolate notes but they're heavily overpowered by whatever spicy aspect is in here. It smells sour and spoiled, wouldn't reccommend. Reminds me of a dusty and somehow also mouldy basement where someone spilled chocolate milk. That's it. That's the scent.
