Éclair Affair

Update 1 - 14 Aug: It's been a bit around 10 days since I first tried this out of the box. This is weird, it's like it's a different fragrance! Now it is VERY similar to Bianco Latte with the extra coconut note. It blew my mind, it was so different at the first times I tried it, it was a powdery summery coconut heavy fragrance, now it's caramel Bianco Latte with a hint of milky gorgeous coconut. Holy smokes! My first impression was not the best on this, I was even planning on selling it but wow I think I'm falling in love with it now! I hope it won't change much more in the future, it's almost perfect now! Will update further if I notice changes. First impression: 06 Aug: I got this as a Bianco Latte dupe (I have several dupes of it, I like to collect them), but this is NOT like Bianco Latte. This is pure powdery sweet coconut with caramel. It didn't remind me at any point Bianco Latte (as I said I have multiple dupes of it and I also have the original BL). From the first spray it has a very prominent coconut scent that tends to be almost like a deodorant. It's not bad but... I can't explain it. It's too coconut-y if that makes sense, and it's a bit too sweet that it can become sickly sweet. Someone mentioned that this is like Victoria Secret Coconut Passion and while I understand where they are coming from, I also have Coconut Passion and they are not similar. Coconut Passion is tropical (almost sunscreen-y) coconut with Vanilla, Eclair Affair is cloying powdery super sweet coconut with caramel. On a positive note, it is very long lasting and for a freshly opened fragrance it has decent projection which I am guessing in time it will intesify.

Coconut pie—with extra caramel drizzle! That’s exactly what Éclair Affair smells like to my nose. I’m talking about those mini coconut pies made with coconut powder, milk, egg whites, sugar, and flour. The coconut here is fresh and wet, not dusty or dry at all. But thanks to the caramel, it’s definitely turned into a full-blown sugar bomb. I honestly really like this fragrance. It skips that rubbery, sneezy opening I get from the original Éclair. It’s also not as dense or thick, and it doesn’t have that underlying cherry note that Éclair carries. The opening is noticeably different and gives you a fun twist, but the dry down does get closer to Éclair—just sweeter and less powdery. Éclair Affair leans into coconut and caramel, feels lighter and airier, but it seems to either not work with my skin, or be lower performance wise. It feels a little bit flat and weak after an hour on my skin. That said, it’s still too early to compare the performance fully, since my decant is very new. I’ll keep testing and update if anything changes! Update: Yes! It changed and got much stronger performance. It projects 1 meter and last over 7 hours and the best part is that I don't go noseblind to it at all. With Lattafa's Eclair I go noseblind after 1 hour.

honestly I love this. I have many dupes of Bianco latte, because I really enjoy the dna profile. To me this is similar enough that you honestly don't need both, but this is like a softer and less rubbery Bianco latte/eclaire. I feel they have more spice and caramel. This is sweeter to my nose, and I get the reference to Frappuccino, cause the Tonka Bean could be perceived as coffee. But more in the way that it has that syrupy coffee syrup smell( kind of reminds me of the vanilla/spices in the og Ch good girl). this is more versatile, as Bianco latte is a tad much for summer, this is probably the version I would bring with me on vacation. Also this is more feminine to me than Bianco latte is. The added coconut makes this a more tropical version of Bianco latte to my nose. This doesn't project like Bianco latte, as it is sweeter. But Bianco latte is also a beast if you don't go nose blind to it! I also think this would be better for layering, as Lattafa eclair, Bianco latte, Nyla vanielle and caramel cascade seem to overpower the fragrance I layer it with, instead of blending together.

Well... it is dreamily sweet. The coconut is not strong but I can sort of smell it somewhere in hiding. I mostly smell a sweet vanilla that also maintains some freshness on the skin, maybe thanks to the jasmine. I also enjoy how the caramel blends together with the other scents in this fragrance! It’s really not too much although the first spritz would make you think so. It surely calms down and becomes cozy after 15-20 min. I also sense a hint of Berries. Maybe like a Berrie cobbler with coconut shavings on top with some vanilla syrup and caramel toffee on the side, but at the same time you smelll the bouquet of flowers on the table is mixing in with the desserts. But then again it’s really not all that in your face. Yes I want to believe that my skin smells this heavenly. That my clothes always carry this scent. It is so airy and sweet and I would love to be associated to a scent like this one. It’s well done. Everybody needs a couple of these gourmand Dubai perfumes because they are truly so high value for what you get in ML vs price.

Falling somewhere between but not exceeding both Maison Asrar’s Vanilla Voyage and Lattafa’s Eclaire. I personally wanted more of a creamy coconut from this. Something like a budget friendly Sphinx Egyptian Sugar Soirée was what I had in mind. This is more or less just another Bianco Latte dupe unfortunately. Does seem to be impressively longevitous though. Doused myself yesterday after showering at 3pm and this was still alive on my skin before showering again a full 24 hours later. Eclair Affair would have been more impactful for me if there weren't 8 other perfumes that smell like this currently occupying my collection; regardless this seems to be a crowd pleasing high quality offering likely to satisfy most gourmand lovers 😇

Ok this is so far my favourite vanilla coconut perfume! I was looking for a perfume version of native deodorant coconut vanilla scent, and this comes closest to what I had in my mind from that scent profile. Not same. But close. It is in the family of Lattafa éclair, but with added coconut. On first spray the coconut smelled rotten! But then it Maturated after a few days and the scent became smooth vanilla coconut, more so vanilla, sweetened with sugar powder and dipped in butter. No burnt smell, no plastic smell, no musky undertones! Dry down is slightly powdery, like sugar dust. Lasts a long time on clothes but is a light smell. It’s my favourite version of BL dupes so far.

I left a lukewarm review for this months ago...how things change! 😇 ‘Eclair Affair’ was middling at the beginning of summer, feeling like a flat alcoholic ‘Bianco Latte’ impression and coconut forward sister to ‘Eclaire;’ but time and maturation have done this insanely well! Long story short, this sweetened up and smoothed out while the now emboldened coconut has gone from stale, to beautifully toasted. It’s just lovely. ‘Eclair Affair’ and ‘Eclaire’ are my favorite fighters in the ‘Bianco Latte’ wars, this absolutely is the prettier sister though!🥰

I bought a sample and This smells exactly like Eclaire by Lattafa except it's less sickly sweet. I think this one is blended better then the other one. To me it's smells creamy, sweet, caramel-y vanilla. Its nice and simple making it a perfect signature gourmand scent. If you'd want more depth id probably layer it with something fruity. But if you'd like to smell like a sweet creamy dessert, this one is for you :)

To anyone thats wondering if it's the same as Eclair by Lattafa, i would say that this one is for sure softer and less harsh. Although i love Lattafs Eclaire, the opening is a tad bit screechy, which Eclair Affair is not. The drydown is really similar though so you probably dont need both, but i do cus im addicted lol

It does smell like eclaire by Lattafa. Of course there are some tiny differences, but in general you have one maybe you don’t need the other. It’s a great gourmand. Smells exactly like a delicious dessert. Edit: it’s super synthetic and then it dries down to butter.

I’m so surprised this is not talked about more. This is lovely, it has the original eclair DNA but a tiny bit sweeter with a big dose of caramel. This is fall- gourmand goodness. Honestly, 10/10! Inexpensive Burlington find ladies!!

I looove this fragrance, it is very similar to Eclaire from Lattafa but less sharp , smoother ! What I love most about it when I wear it , it puts me in a good mood !! So if u are a gourmand lover I stongly reccomend it !

I'm rarely moved to purchase gourmand fragrances, so Éclair Affaire was an outlier in my collection. I can’t compare it to anything I’ve previously tested or owned, especially since I sidestepped the Bianco Latte dupe craze. That makes this scent a novelty for me: a sweet butterscotch treat wrapped in a creamy coconut milk opening. It’s kittenish, indulgent, and unlike anything I’ve gone out of my way to wear before, I smell like the sweeties I adored as a child; one bite away from being gobbled up by the big bad wolf! Besides, others have dissected its development with great enthusiasm, so I’ll spare the lyrical waxing (I know you'll say—Lotte, you're already guilty of that!). I digress. My interest in this fragrance stemmed from its not so pompous pedigree, being a French Avenue 'creation', and that’s where my review actually begins. Against Miraj Exclusif and Sultana the Joyful, both of which I know intimately, Éclair Affaire feels less refined. The composition feels a tad rough around the edges, even after maturation. Longevity and sillage are thereabouts moderate, sillage being near to underwhelming. I’ve already used up 75% of the bottle, not out of 'obsession', but fragnecessity—frequent resprays being required to make it linger through the evening. On fabric, it fades before midnight; on skin, it steals away before you drift off. I've rambled long enough. What's the verdict, Lotte—you ask? It’s a strong like, not a love. And while I've enjoyed the brief experience of smelling like a candy I used to hide from my greedy siblings, I won’t be repurchasing this fragrance or scent profile.

Eclair affair smells like caramel. It smells like the candy malaco cola strings. Its very sweet, soft. But I like it. After 1-2 hours its more soft and more deep. But it stills smells like caramel. The coconut has a good balance in the perfume but its not dominant, its just makes the smell creamy. Lattafa Eclair smells more vanilla and white flowers and not as sweet as eclair affair. I not a big fan of lattafa eclair to be honest. It smells funky on clothes. I think it might be the musk that is too much. Essnce carashmellow smells more like vanilla, honey, marshmellow. Its a great perfume and long lasting and you smell like vanilla rolls all day. Its has white musk and I think that is what makes the difference. Its a great dupe for Bianco latte. I would say for sweet lovers and young people go for eclair affair. For women that like unisex sweet scent with musk go for lattafa eclair. And if you like sweet vanilla scents that are more feminine and fluffy go for essnce carashmellow.

Is it just me or does this smell way more sweet than Bianco Latte & Lattafa Eclaire? Like say BL is a coffee cup w/ 3 sugars, Eclair Affair would be 6 sugars. This is a VERY good dupe of BL, it's neck and neck between this and Lattafa Eclaire, but I find it a touch too sweet for me to wear, like diabetes sweet, almost headache toothache inducing, which makes Lattafa Eclaire more worth keeping for me over this I think. Luckily I didn't have to wait weeks to know what it actually smells like, it straight up smells like BL out of the box which was great. That was the case for me with Liquid Brun. It does smell like Werthers candy! So if you want to smell like so or for nostalgic reasons, it's worth a try! I do get coconut milk on the opening which was nice, but it sorta disappears on the dry down on my skin, but could be that the caramel is so strong that it just overpowers everything else. I also like the bottle, it's very pretty! Also keep in mind that I'm a guy

Although it carries a hint of coconut in the background, that note never takes center stage. I wouldn’t call it a dupe of Bianco Latte or Eclaire by Lattafa, because French Avenue has a much softer, calmer, and more approachable personality. On fabric, it lasts around 9 to 10 hours, with a projection that shifts from moderate to intimate as time goes by. If Bianco Latte or Eclaire feel too strong for you, chances are you’ll fall in love with this one. It’s like their gentler, more balanced sibling,where caramel and vanilla lead the composition, wrapping you in a creamy, comforting sweetness. The coconut lingers quietly in the background, adding warmth without demanding attention. Overall, it smells like dessert, a caramel flan lightly dusted with delicate flakes of coconut. A gourmand fragrance, yes, but with the tenderness of a soft embrace.

Fruity caramel candy. Eclair Affair smells like “kolasnören” here in Sweden. Very sweet and toffee-like. I get some fruitiness from this as well. The notes that stand out to me are caramel, coconut and tonka. It’s very smooth, but still strong to my nose. Creamier, lighter and more pleasant than Lattafa’s Eclaire. Eclaire has a weird rubbery note and smells horrible on clothes. This is the better option between the two. And this one is far better than Creme of Clouds. I just wish it was even creamier or fluffier. A bit more complex. I fear I’ll get bored of this easily. 7/10 from me and 10/10 from a random guy who said I smelled like a dream.

Didn’t like it much at first, I would find it too cloying. But, after a few months I’ve been wearing it and I do like it! It’s a thick caramel with hints of coconut. I personally get a smoky undertone when wearing it on my skin. It smells quite similar to Bianco Latte, however I much prefer the OG as I find it to be smoother. I have worn it to uni and as soon as I entered the room my lecturer complimented the sweet scent. It lasts a decent amount of time. I would mostly wear it during colder months rather than summer.

This is a beautiful gourmand scent. While it’s in the same family as bianco latte, Eclaire and the rest, it’s not exactly the same. I find that it’s missing the milk and honey accords in those scents. It reminds me strongly of a toffee eclair candy. Very sweet and creamy. Only for gourmand or very sweet fragrance lovers. I love it! Very smoothening and comforting absolutely addictive.. not a projecting kind of scent but I enjoy it too much, also not a bianco latte dupe it's a coconut covered vanilla milk cake without being heavy on any accord at all

Going from a paper test, this may be too heavy for summer. It's very sweet, coconut is the main hit I get straight off. There is a milky/powdery quality to the scent, and vanilla is in there as well.

It’s an overwhelmingly sweet, sugary fragrance for my nose. I recommend not to overspray this one. I couldn’t detect any coconut, it’s more like a vanilla-caramel dessert vibe.

Just purchased and its nice. Bit of a synthetic smell at first spray, nice creamy chocolate smell. Not too over powering. Im excited to see how it develops over time

IMO this is Eclair with a fruitiness! Very pretty, just a bit boring for my taste. But very mass appealing :)

A gorgeous creamy scent. I mostly get caramel. The projection isn't the best, but it does last a few hours.

First time using was a let down. Barely any smell at all. I put it away in my dresser drawer. Today makes 2 weeks of sitting. The fragrance has definitely improved. It has a touch of an alcohol smell for the first 15 seconds or so. That fades away quickly and turns into a still light, but sweet creamy caramel gourmand. It's been an hour on my skin and it's still going good. It does remind me of the original Éclair. But this is somehow sweeter. It's not as strong, but not every single fragrance is meant to be beast mode. I think this still needs to do some maturing. It definitely has a lot of potential. I don't get anything coconut in here, thankfully. Not a fan. But I get the gourmand accord, the vanilla is so sweet. The caramel isn't thick and sticky, but gives a smooth creaminess to the fragrance. It's not musky to me at all. It's warm and cozy. Very comforting. It's like a very sweet secret love affair. Like a lover's scent that's stuck to your clothes and skin. You simply can't stop sniffing it.

Was excited to try this one. Heard good stuff about it. So I sprayed and it smelled lovely- sweet, coconutty, vanilla but mainly caramel!!! I was in love. For me, the caramel stays throughout the dry down. Unfortunately after about 30-35mins of wearing this, I started getting a background scent that altered the scent profile for me. It was almost fiery and spicy. Smells like something from my childhood that I’ve smelled before. Asides from that though, the caramel is lovely. Longevity is easily 5h. It doesn’t fade off quickly. Rating it 7.5/10 due to the fiery/spicy scent and the poor longevity.

It smells like Werther's Originals or other caramel candy. Quite photorealistic. The opening is horrible, just imagine Lysol, but after 30s it is gone. The coconut is very faint. It is caramel candy from start to the end, nothing is evolving. If you like caramel, this is your fragrance, I honestly prefer Eclair from Lattafa, which is more interesting and more lactonic.

I don't know what it is about this one, I really wanted to like it but I think the jasmine on the opening makes it smell really gross to me , then it smells buttery- like actual melted butter- and eventually an airy sweetnesses. Wanted to love it but it's a miss for me I enjoy lattafas eclaire or even zimaya tiramisu caramel

I bought a decant of this fragrance, with many others of a similar profile. I like this, its sweet, has a hint of fruit, creamy vainilla. I will not run to buy a full bottle. I am not in love with it. I get the amber and the vainilla mostly

Bought it, since it has a fair price, and that it's compared to Bianco Latte (and are slightly higher rated on Fragrantica). I must say that so far - this one has a more syntetic smell to it than BL has. Not sure about this one.

If you want the realistic smell of a chocolate milkshake... this one is for you. Just not for me.

I received a small sample of this fragrance and echo the sentiments of other reviewers - it’s clearly a dupe of Bianco Latte (BL) but with a twist that makes it more suitable for warmer weather. The addition of coconut and jasmine gives it a breezier, more tropical feel compared to the milkier profile of BL. That said, I agree that both projection and longevity are underwhelming. The initial spray comes off a bit harsh with a noticeable alcohol note before the actual fragrance starts to settle. Longevity is average at best, around three hours on my skin. As for gourmand elements, I only pick up hints of caramel and vanilla; nothing particularly rich or complex. Considering I already own BL, Milk’s Notes (the original inspiration behind BL), Eclaire, Cream Velvet and Celeste Toffee, I’m not in a rush to grab a full bottle unless I come across a great deal or a resale through a fragrance group.

This Bianco Latte dupe is the best one compared to Lattafa's - Eclaire (smells like cheap vanilla lactonic little candle in grocery store with a sweaty note in it) , Zimaya's - tiramisu caramel (buttery, sickly sweet, more thick that Lattafa's eclaire, but kind of too buttery heavy and artificial to me ). French Avenue - Eclaire Affair to me smells like modest/coconuty/vanilla/sweet/condenste-milk, sweet fragrance with bainco latte DNA, but more classy and soft/fluffy version of eclaire and tiramisu caramel. In terms of sillage it had weaker sillage than eclaire by Lattafa's and Zimaya's tiramisu caramel, but I even like this more because other bianco latte dupes are too sickly sweet/butter /lactonic/artificial to me and tends to smell like cheap artificail vanilla candles . But eclaire affair is the best one yet.

I am not a big fan yet. The coconut note is so cardboardy. Smells like someone wearing a cheap vanilla perfume in a shipping warehouse. It's improving, I guess... I'll wait another week. And yes, this is a legit bottle. Update: the coconut definitely warms up and smells toasted.. but I'm afraid this is too coconut caramel for me, despite thinking this is something I'd want. I have no clue where the people below are picking up chocolate, lol. I have a bottle for sale if anyone is interested.

I'm surprised to see coconut listed as a top note, because I found this perfume to have the opposite journey. At first spray Eclaire Affair was an absolutely delicious desert mimicking Bianco Latte, with a little bit of coconut. As it settled, however, the coconut kept becoming more and more prominent, and by the drydown it was pretty much all I could smell (that and the buttery vanilla accord). In two words - a buttery coconut.

A better well blended and less harsh version of Eclair. Smells a lot like BL and Eclair but sweeter and less synthetic. It is not as loud as the other two, but the longevity and sillage are great. I prefer this one over Eclair because of that rubbery scent that is quite noticeavle in the Lattafa's one. Recomended for those sugary-sweet gourmand lovers. It is creamy and sweet without being too much, nauseating or synthetic.

I have tested this but haven't bought it yet, if you're a gourmand lover you will most likely love it, very soft and not intense, you can safely overspray, i don't believe that perfume has a gender so everyone can wear this, easy to wear and not headache causing, also great for layering

A deliciously sweet scent that smells like a creamy chocolate éclair with a hint of elegance. Perfectly balanced for both men and women - rich, smooth, and addictive. If you love dessert-inspired fragrances with a touch of class, this one’s a must-try!

This is more Gioiosa and Mahi Cassinade blend to me. I have both of them. It doesn't have that awful coumarin and honey in BL which I hate. It's truly lovely and different but mine definitely needs to mature as I just got it. It's a love for me.

Opens with a blast of sour milk but dries down shortly after with a lactonic coconut. Similar to Creme of Clouds, but Creme of Clouds is better.
