Enigma Une

The presentation isn’t great. The bottle feels cheap and the sprayer is awkward, so my expectations were low. Once sprayed, the opening hits hard with a strong pepper and lavender combo. It smells close to Sauvage Elixir but with a rougher, fresher edge and none of the sweetness. Give it time. The drydown is where this fragrance shines. It settles into a smooth and powerful Elixir-style profile with impressive longevity on clothes. It doesn’t fully match the projection of the original, but it gets surprisingly close for the price. Because it’s pricier than Asad, it doesn’t get much attention, but the quality is better than I expected. If you want a near Elixir scent at a fraction of the cost, this is one of the better options. 8.5/10

So the scent DNA especially at the open is there. The real pity is the oil concentration doesn't allow the scent to transition 1-1. SE holds onto the opening spicy complex much longer - 2 to 3 hours vs 1 hour. This makes a huge difference since the opening is my absolute favorite part of SE. EU jumps after that 1 hour to the dry down which SE gets to like after 6 to 7 hours. This part is my least favorite. So as you see I'm a bit torn. I feel they nailed the scent in terms of complexity and spiciness. However I don't understand why they didn't up the oil concentration. Maybe charge $45 for a 75ml would have been ideal.

20%? Lol. Anyway, this is at least 80% but regardless of a subjective number I know this smells amazing and unique as the OG does as well. This does feel like a modern take on an 80’s/90’s fragrance. With that being said this in not the OG but only a version. The opening differs for sure in quality but 10 minutes later it’s back on the right path. Bit harsh with the licorice opening but does become more smooth. Not blind buy safe but neither is the og. Excellent price makes it a small gamble that I still feel is still worth it.

Enigma Une on one wrist, Sauvage Elixir on the other. EU is slightly fresher and louder while SE is better blended and higher quality. After 1 hour EU is stronger but hasn't changed at all while SE has calmed down and the woods are coming through more than in the opening. I also tested EU next to Asad at a kiosk and EU was definitely higher quality. I have no problem wearing EU and saving SE for more special occasions as the price difference is significant.

I'm not an expert by any means, so what I say is subjective. It has a spicy opening, and the sweetness comes out after a few minutes. I love the smell of licorice that comes out. I enjoy wearing this fragrance.

i have this. i would say it's sparkly than the OG maybe because of the lavender, it's more prominent but still dark in the opening. The OG is straight up dark and heavy. Performs good enough 8-12hr+ hrs

This is great, smells 90% like the real deal, it's slightly more warm/spiced and with less lavender, but for the price it smells really close, projects nicely and lasts ~8 hours.

this is my signature special ocassion and cool dry season scent and really fits the weather here in the Philippines...it lasts 8hrs on me and more on clothes

Great masculine friendly fragrance

Really close clone. Impressively so. It has all the rich sweetness of the original but is lacking in a bit of the sharp spice. My bottle is new so performance is a bit weak at the moment but I'm sure after a few weeks it'll strengthen right up. I will say that there is a slight rubberish smell after wearing it for a handful of hours. Particularly if it's on your hands/wrist and you wash. Leaves a strange scent though I don't think it would be at all noticeable to others. Otherwise very nice and impressive. Can't go wrong for the price.

Bought this and asad about a year ago This smells very close to the original elixer Performance is average to slightly above average Nothing beast mode about this If you haven't smelled the OG but have smelled asad and are wondering how this stacks up to asad, performance wise similar i'd even say asad Performs a bit better Scent wise this is closer to the original but i personally love the sweet twist in asad I live this dna so it isn't reduntant for me but may be for you

Asad is skanky and turns to saliva kind of smell after an hour or so. Enigma Une is better without a question. It smells more modern and slightly holds back on the fougere aspect, just like what Sauvage Elixir is. It does what Asad does, but BETTER!

Asad smell sweeter and more pleased, better projection, sillage. Enigma Une is closer to the original 85-90 % but has worse performance, ok projection and sillage. Quality is just ok IT IS NOT BEASTMODE. I kinda regret giving up Asad for this one. You may want to buy Asad or the Sauvage Elixir and skip this one. I bought this thinking it would scratch the itch but kind of let down. Stick to the sweeter Asad for compliments or buy the real BEASTMODE, high quality Sauvage Elixir.

I very much enjoy the Sauvage Elixir DNA so naturally I like this too. It's beautifully spicy with a strong licorice, an equally strong and prominent nutmeg in a coating of cinnamon. I find that 'Enigma Une' is almost exactly the same scent as Zimaya 'Zukruf Black' -- the only difference is that 'Enigma Une' has a spicier and louder opening but after a couple of minutes, they're identical. The Zimaya scent is both cheaper and the bottle design in 'Zukruf Black' is a lot more beautiful with its art deco style bottle. I'd buy whichever one is the cheapest, skip buying the other one and throw Lattafa 'Asad' into the trash where it naturally belongs.

I've never smelled Sauvage Elixir, but I hear that it's popular with young guys. If that's true, I am surprised, because to me Enigma Une smells like an old school power scent from the 80s! It's heavy, rich, woody, spicy, strong, and most of all: MANLY! Reminds me of the old Fendi Uomo from the 80s. This is a ballsy fragrance with swagger.

Horrible, don't even try. In the air tries to become sauvage but on skin it's very sour and cheap licorice. Not worth the quality sacrifice to get 20% resemblence of the OG. Dry down tries to salvage the situation, fails, and the sour skin remains😹😹 0/10

The licorice is amazing.. Buy It! it's worth every penny Miles better than Lattafa Asad this one is! imo

Picked it up for $52 Au today from witr.com.au I'm going to let it macerate now until I finish my Assad.

Closer then asad and stronger with better quality. Not beastly but decent at21$ it’s fair
