Glorious Oud Royal Blanc

Blind-buy success! I've never smelled Musk Therapy, but the notes, name and bottle always had me wondering. Well, I decided to blind-buy this ($30) and I'm very happy! I have come to love freshies that aren't just citrus or aquatic, and this hits all the right feels. I'm tired of cold freshies. This isn't warm at all, but it's so neutral. It is relaxing and doesn't project much, which I consider a plus. I can see myself wearing this all year long. Fresh enough to amaze in the summer, but gentle enough to be a calming winter frag. Kinda like Prada L'Homme. But it is very unique in my collection. I guess a downside would be the longevity / projection. But for an accord like this, I really don't want it to be a powerhouse anyway. Lastly, I get ZERO off-putting or overly-synthetic notes. This is such a smooth blend. 9/10

This is how I imagine my ideal spa relaxation scent! When I need to unwind or get comfortable this is my ideal choice of fragrance. Not creamy or sweet and cloying just a floral herbal cleanliness with a woody base. Suitable for any time or occasion. It does smell like an expensive complementary shampoo in a super ritzy hotel. Perfectly unisex and inoffensive easy reach Edit: I’ve been wearing this during the winter as a break from the spicy vanilla heaviness of typical cold weather fragrances. I have to say that this performs admirably during the cold. People within an arms length have no problem smelling me with only 4 sprays. It also clings to my clothes for more than a day. I love love this fragrance and will be getting a backup if it goes on sale.

Initially I do get some citrus but then it fades away, later it becomes flowery, creamy and slightly lactonic. It lasts for 5-6hours on my skin since it is a fresh scent, the performance is okayish but the scent is out of this world. I believe that on manceration its potency can increase maybe give 7 hour performance. Regarding projection, it sits close to your skin but person sitting next to you can definitely smell it. It is totally unisex could lean slightly feminine for some. I dont know why sellers have not restocked it, it is such a beautiful scent, its out of stock all the time i hope they have not discontinued it. Another thing which i didnt like is it is available only in 80ml i wish it could have been at least 100 ml.

I always spray musk therapy on myself at airports and love it so I got this to try until I’m ready to pull trig on MT. They’re not 100% dupes maybe like 75/25. MT almost has a grape quality in the opening (I know that’s not a note that’s just what I pick up) but I think it’s like deeper than GORB. But the dry downs are very similar and they fill the same role in a collection. Soft, musky, clean... I love this!! Don’t even know if I will buy MT... performance definitely isn’t as good, but I mean it’s 1/10th of the price so can’t complain too much.. it lasts long on my clothes like a day or so and on skin I get a couple hours with moderate projection.
