Glorious Oud Royal Blanc

Blind-buy success! I've never smelled Musk Therapy, but the notes, name and bottle always had me wondering. Well, I decided to blind-buy this ($30) and I'm very happy! I have come to love freshies that aren't just citrus or aquatic, and this hits all the right feels. I'm tired of cold freshies. This isn't warm at all, but it's so neutral. It is relaxing and doesn't project much, which I consider a plus. I can see myself wearing this all year long. Fresh enough to amaze in the summer, but gentle enough to be a calming winter frag. Kinda like Prada L'Homme. But it is very unique in my collection. I guess a downside would be the longevity / projection. But for an accord like this, I really don't want it to be a powerhouse anyway. Lastly, I get ZERO off-putting or overly-synthetic notes. This is such a smooth blend. 9/10

This is how I imagine my ideal spa relaxation scent! When I need to unwind or get comfortable this is my ideal choice of fragrance. Not creamy or sweet and cloying just a floral herbal cleanliness with a woody base. Suitable for any time or occasion. It does smell like an expensive complementary shampoo in a super ritzy hotel. Perfectly unisex and inoffensive easy reach Edit: I’ve been wearing this during the winter as a break from the spicy vanilla heaviness of typical cold weather fragrances. I have to say that this performs admirably during the cold. People within an arms length have no problem smelling me with only 4 sprays. It also clings to my clothes for more than a day. I love love this fragrance and will be getting a backup if it goes on sale.

Initially I do get some citrus but then it fades away, later it becomes flowery, creamy and slightly lactonic. It lasts for 5-6hours on my skin since it is a fresh scent, the performance is okayish but the scent is out of this world. I believe that on manceration its potency can increase maybe give 7 hour performance. Regarding projection, it sits close to your skin but person sitting next to you can definitely smell it. It is totally unisex could lean slightly feminine for some. I dont know why sellers have not restocked it, it is such a beautiful scent, its out of stock all the time i hope they have not discontinued it. Another thing which i didnt like is it is available only in 80ml i wish it could have been at least 100 ml.

I always spray musk therapy on myself at airports and love it so I got this to try until I’m ready to pull trig on MT. They’re not 100% dupes maybe like 75/25. MT almost has a grape quality in the opening (I know that’s not a note that’s just what I pick up) but I think it’s like deeper than GORB. But the dry downs are very similar and they fill the same role in a collection. Soft, musky, clean... I love this!! Don’t even know if I will buy MT... performance definitely isn’t as good, but I mean it’s 1/10th of the price so can’t complain too much.. it lasts long on my clothes like a day or so and on skin I get a couple hours with moderate projection.

Opens like a crisp towel in a luxury spa—bright, clean, and absolutely composed. Then it melts into creamy musks and soft woods that smell like you just woke up in a penthouse on Billionaires’ Row, wrapped in heavy hotel bedding with fresh white linen sheets, sipping overpriced water while staring out at Manhattan. People say it leans feminine—I get it, but this is true unisex. Clean with a twist, done just right. Like confidence wrapped in a blanket, not a leather jacket. This is my secret weapon. Subtle, comforting, and quietly expensive. Most importantly? Women love it. 8.5/10 – Fresh, elegant, and low-key luxurious. If self-control had a scent.

I think this smells VERY much like Initio's Musk Therapy, but it has a strong, almost abrasive, citrus/bergamot opening. I really love the scent afterward though, projects more for the first 1.5 hrs, then it lingers close to the body. I could still smell it pretty well 7 hrs later, wafting up from my chest. It's a fuzzy, unisex musk (like citrus, white amber, and light wood) and has a synthetic nature to it that I personally find appealing. I'm happy that this is so reasonably priced also, ~$30-40 USD depending on when and where you get it. I had a 10 mL decant of Initio's Musk Therapy that I used up before finding this.

It opens with a semi-sweet blend of powdery florals and milky musk. It gives off a soothing vibe that feels therapeutic in the air. However, smelling it up close, the musk and sandalwood base is a bit synthetic. The projection is strong for the first three hours, then it settles as a skin scent that lingers well into the evening. While the rich sandalwood and musky base is better suited for cooler weather, such as spring or fall, I still enjoy it even on warmer days. It’s not groundbreaking, and the price has decreased substantially, so it is worth a try.

I've had this perfume for a week, and so far I think it's really nice. I'd say it is slightly less sweet and less 'creamy' than Musk Therapy, but I do think it's a good alternative if you don't want to spend the money on MT. Longevity & sillage are moderate. I love to wear it to the gym and sometimes to bed. I'm hoping it will become a bit stronger with Maceration, though I love it anyway.

I haven’t smelled Musk Therapy, but I heard this is a good dupe of the original. I’m always on the lookout for an easy-reach fragrance with universal appeal. I love the magnolia and bergamot here! Cocooning and comforting. It’s similar to Montblanc Signature to me — which is an absolute love, except Royal Blanc has a smooth sandalwood base. 8.5/10

Glorious Oud Royal Blanc is such a bold and elegant scent! While it’s unisex, it definitely leans more masculine with its deep oud and woody vibe. I love wearing it on cool autumn nights — it feels warm, classy, and gets compliments every time. Not for the faint of heart, but perfect if you like something rich and long-lasting.

Very soft, powdery, safe and cosy musk. Those who say that it smells like piss, you shall blame your skin PH rather than this perfume, because it does not smell like piss (at least on me). Musk is a risky business, it can react weirdly with skin, for this reason all musk fragrances must be tested on skin and not only on paper.

Love love love this scent! It smells like deluxe spa. Can’t speak to the original so reviewing as a stand alone fragrance. Very cozy blend of citrus and musk. It smells so comforting and lush!

Very nice cheap floral perfume that has great sillage and longevity. The bees during the summer that like to land on me when I wear this must think so too!

Never put my nose on musk therapy but to me this smells similar to CAHSEE at least on the dry down

Not exactly close to Musk Therapy, in my opinion, but it is a great fragrance. It's giving Italian summer for me. Definitely a scent for summer or hangout with friends. Longetivity is okay, lasts for whole day especially on clothes. I'd say it's less complicated version of Musk Therapy, but either way - an amazing scent that is worth to have in the collection. I love it.

A fresh musky scent. I've only had it for a short time, so I'm hoping for the maceration process and that it will become a little stronger.

This smells like a sweet sunscreen. Smells absolutely nothing like MT, don't even bother. Dubai Musk is the only alternative UPDATE: The opening is not great, drydown is better, still far away from what OG is scent and quality wise. Leans more feminine, if you are not looking for an exact MT clone you might still like it. Like I said, if you want something close to MT, get Dubai Musk

This smells about 75% similar to Musk Therapy but is missing the magic and oomf and longevity. It's a close enough dupe if you're looking to save money but it's very generic smelling to me. Musk Therapy is a masterpiece but this does scratch an itch if you don't want to spend that much.

I love those hanging pine tree shaped car air fresheners but, did not want a PERFECT dupe for one when I bought this. Oh well. It's floral, super thick, and musky.

Something about this perfume irritates me, I think it’s mainly the citrus notes that overpower the warm notes of moss and white sandalwood, which are really well done. However, the citrus combination doesn’t work at all—it gives off a urine-like smell that becomes really unpleasant after a few hours. If you don’t like it, you’ll definitely notice it, just like with perfumes that don’t suit you. I tried to connect with this fragrance, but it just doesn’t work; it’s too synthetic, too Arabic, and ultimately, poor. My rating is 3/10.

Nose Note #994 I had this for a year and I liked it less and less. A lot of musk and it's not pretty, but it's definately for women. Does not work on men. The piss connection is real, but not quite literal. The musk is dirty. A fresh dirty scent with big influence from the 80-90s. Women only. Performance is better than average. 4/10, I really don't like it. It is not disgusting, but it's not for me

Last batches ( from Amazon USA ) directly from French Avenue’s store came very very weak and an undertone of burnt rubber, didn’t last for more than 2 hours, even after 3 weeks of macerating, didn’t get any better. Can’t recommend it. If you want a better dupe, I would go for Jo Milano - Topaz, better quality for $65 Dollars on Jomas Shop.

Not a very good clone. Ivory Musk is much better. This one has more bitterness in the opening.

I have this and i got musk therapy sample and well they're not like same....the dna is there and yes pretty similar but there's something synthetic about this one...something very rubbery..not like rubber but something like that..can't describe it perfectly but yea not a 100% dupe....i actually got the musk therapy sample and loved it so thought i should look for a good dupe and well everyone was praising this so brought it....also musk therapy lasted for a long time on my skin but this one didn't..not the best lasting power or sillage...its more woody then citrusy...the musk is there but musk therapy is very light very airy this one is slightly dark because of that sandalwood note....i think I'll let it sit for a while and see if it changes anything..i hope it does and even if it's not a 100% dupe i still like it i just hope the synthetic feeling will go away...I'll be back with more after few weeks Edit: im back..after trying both on each hand again i can guess the main difference is lemon note...in must therapy the lemon is prominent which makes it very sunny and light...but this one here is as i said woody and sandalwood forward which gives it that dark rubbery scent...i think I'll wear it its not the worst but it's not the same... Edit:back againnnn...guess what im probably going to buy another bottle after i finish this one because freaking hell it's good..its also my office scent since it's not too overpowering yet lasts a long time

Not a good performer but that is what you seek when you are searching for a perfume like this. Its just very nice to smell, smells super clean and i just spray it on my cushion to just sleep and smell it because its so good, havent had the chance to really put it to the test as its winter and i dont really see it as a winter fragrance but i will edit the review then. First it smelt creamy and nutty but i didnt like it, maybe i got used to the smell or it macerated but now its like freshly washed clothes. Amazing smell which you wont get enough of bottle is cool atomizer is good and yeah good purchase. Dont know if its blind buy safe but it is definitely if you like a little bit of a creamy/nutty smell (in a good way)

Pretty much the exact same as Musk Therapy. Im not really a clone guy, and I'd love to throw this under the bus to validate my disdain for clones, but this is honestly quite well done. Especially for the money. Fresh, slightly woody, quite powdery, a little creamy, clean and bright. Super safe, super unisex...if not even slightly feminine leaning. If you have this, you really dont need Musk Therapy. They achieve the same effect. Contrast that with something like Liquid Brun or Afnan Supremacy Collectors edition which simply cant match their originals in terms of quality and depth, and I'd actually recommend this clone in place of it's original if you cant afford the original, unlike those other 2 clones.

I bought the original as a gift for my wife. To be honest, I wasn't even looking for a dupe. Even though about 95% of my own collection is made up of dupes, I wanted to get her the original. I already wrote a long review praising it because I genuinely think it's amazing. I didn't even know this dupe existed. Looking at the note breakdown though, I'm confused. The original is all about the musk, while this one only seems to list fruity notes with no mention of musk at all. That said, I've seen a lot of comments from people saying it still smells very musky and that it's actually really close. Can anyone explain why that is?

Sweet musk. Unisex. Spring and summer. Very similar to Initio Musk Therapy from my one quick sniff from the atomiser of the real deal, so take it with a grain of salt. Lasts like only one hour, unless I'm going nose-blind. Hopefully maturation prolongs the longevity. Absolute weak-sauce, currently. I've had my bottle for a few weeks.

I blind bought this and I’m very happy I did. The bottle is beautiful and a sight to behold and the scent is a very close dupe to musk therapy without the hefty price tag. It’s warm and comforting and I would say it definitely leans more feminine

God I can’t stand these fragrantica degenerates. Maybe you don’t enjoy this scene profile but in no way does this smell like “piss”. Either your nose is broken or you just making stuff up and being a hater. Either way shut up

Is this thing seriously an extrait? barely last an hour, on clothes! Scent wise it's good, don't know the similarity % though. Let's see in the end of Feb. *Edit : now smoother, last longer perform like an edp 🗿

Smells great and NOTHING like piss. Idk where people are getting that from. The opening isn't as citrusy as Musk Therapy to my nose. In Musk Therapy, you can really pick up the orange. About 80-85% similar.

I have Musk Therapy, and for 1/10th of the price (which I got this one for), it is an amazing budget option. I don’t care about inspired-bys being 1:1, but this is like 85% similar.

Lacks all the magic Musk Therapy has. Honestly, a sample or a decant of the original is much more worth it than this dupe.

The opening is a 1 to 1 dupe of musk therapy. Just with slightly worse ingredients. Dry down is about 85% similar.
