Leo

This is an absolutely stunning scent! It is so well blended, so I don't really catch any too obvious singular notes. It is somewhat sweet, not heavy nor particularly fresh, and a little bit spicy - i swear there is some cardamom in here. It is giving mystical and alluring vibes. It would be perfect for fall. I consider it unisex, but slightly feminine leaning, just because there isn't anything that smells masculine at all (like with PDM Althair, for example, which has something that smells a bit more masculine to me, and I'd consider unisex). The downside is that this doesn't last on me at all. After an hour, I can only smell some vanilla if I sniff the area I sprayed it. It does last a bit longer on clothes - I could actually smell a little bit on my dress even a day after, but not much. I will have to try it in cooler weather to see if it lasts longer (it's summer atm). The scent is still worth it to me, as I absolutely love it, and the bottle is a masterpiece. Edit (October): The lasting power is no longer an issue - I can still smell the perfume on skin for 6+ hours and on clothes for 12+. Amazing perfume and one of my most used fragrances this fall!

In general, Genesis collection is really well made, but Leo is one of the most exact considering the Leo traits, in my opinion. This scent is screaming with confidence, it's unique and deep. If Leo comes into the room - it instantly lits up and this perfume highlights this trait. Citrus notes reveals the soft side of Leo, while vanilla and cashmeran reveals how ambitious and rich Leo's tends to be. Even if you're not a Leo - I'm sure this scent would grow to be one of your favourite. It's truly unisex, even though leans more feminine. It's one of those perfumes I like to call "the universal", since with Leo you can go anywhere - starting with work all trough the date. Longetivity is beastly, I can smell it after whole day. Definitely worth trying.

Nose Note #725 It's basically Lattafa Yara made the right and natural way. Imagine Yara, but much less sweet, without anything synthetic about it and something woody in the base that makes it more unisex. Distantly reminds me of car leather interiors - the leather can have this sweet smell to it. It's nothing like Dior Bois d'Argent. One of the better fragrances in the Genesis line. Strong! It may not be the strongest perfume, but it's making my head swirly. 7.8/10, for some reason I'm getting a near headache experience with this. I'm wearing much much heavier scent with ease, but this is somewhat nauseating (even though it smells great)

To me this feels like a bit of a mix of the PDM Althair and Babycat profiles in the opening then moving away from Althair as it dries down to soemthing different. Performance is pretty good for me with a nice soft diffusive sillage. Very classy and suited for special occasions, nights out etc. Haven't smelt any of the other "reminds me of" so not sure its close to any of those Highly recommended, especially at the price its going for curently

I tried French Avenue's Leo from the Genesis Collection, and I gotta say: Absolutely WOW. The smell right off the bat is super pleasant, warm, woody, slightly musky and super sexy in my opinion. The fact that it also matches my star sign (Leo) is an absolute bonus, and the smell really encompasses what a Leo is: confident, fiery, spicy and a masculine character. I will soon return to that shop to buy this fragrance!!

If mysterious was a word you could use to describe the notes of a fragrance, Leo's notes are mysterious. The fruity citrus hits you on the opening, and that's it. It becomes a skin scent that feels like it's not there simultaneously. But generally, this is a good scent. I will wait for it to marcerate.

Omg this is so good. These notes are a dream. Citrusy, peppery, with some orris, vanilla & cashmeran. That's mostly what I'm smelling. And I LOVE it. I'm so glad I picked this up before the prices on these sky rocketed. It kinda resembles love delight or Maison Alhambra's rendition decadent wonder.

Being a Leo, I got this one first from their Genesis line amd I wasn't sorry. Encompassed my Leo personality- bold and fierce but with a heart. I love the balance of citrus and musk.

Ok, this was a great blind buy. Yes, it’s very similar to the Minuit Et Demi and Magenta Tanzanite vibe, and also Black Tie. Since I love those, this is a win. Very nice 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼💕

Its ok. The opening is kinda annoying but the dry down is nicer. Maybe its a little too citrusy for my liking, which was exactly my concern about blind buying it. Edit: its growing on me, now I enjoy the scent

Blind bought this because of the orris root. It is perfect. Genesis Leo opens up warm, smoky, and creamy, fragrant orris enveloping the air in a mild baby powder-like sweetness. The citruses are well-blended, not bright and tart nor juicy but astringent in a way you would recognize an orange-scented essential oil, and they stay close to the skin, letting the orris hog the grand stage. As the smokiness disperses, the orris melts into an equally warm vanilla. The citruses develop a peppery sharpness, distinct enough to tell they've mellowed. The vanilla smells pale, a drop in a tiny ocean, and immediately settles musky. This muskiness never loses its creamy powder quality after it dries down, intoxicating when you catch a whiff of it, which isn't hard to do with how it radiates. A lot of body heat? Even better. I don't know how to explain that this is not Leo as a sun or ascendant sign, this is Leo as a moon sign. Intense, passionate, secure with an unbeatable warmth found only in their 8AM coffee on the bed breakfast act of service. It's not loud or cocky, but magnetic. I haven't tried the rest of the Genesis line, but this is an outstanding introduction already.

this is amazing ! SEDUCTIVE AND MISTERIOUS. 10/10 one of my fav of the collection . THE WHOLE COLLECTION it's highly impressive, extremely high ingredients and formula Leo is totally unisex, warm impenetrable elegance ! an elegant man in suit with a sweet side to his intelligence or a bold beautiful woman extremely confident, mysterious, and magnetically sensual. Sure i can see the reference to Changing Constance's ( which i have and love and use since years ) but this is better ? is darker and groundier, way less sharp . It's firm quiet power & love for life. strong ,decisive, yet poised i sense 3 distinct phases unisex at opening then after 10 min , shortly more masculine in a very citrusy drydown and then immediately later a quick phase of cola lemony firey smokey deliciousness . to end.. it stabilizes in the most delicious unisex fragrance and elegance that i can't wait to wear as a woman . Impressed.

Extremely beautiful gourmand-musky-vanilla type of scent. Opens up very smooth and beautiful with orange, vanilla and orris -- it smells like an orange dreamsicle ice cream. Dries down more vanilla and musky while still retaining the gourmand nature of the orange, enveloped in a smooth cashmeran. The closest fragrance i can liken this to is 'Kashan' by Lattafa -- but that one has more peppers, less vanilla and less florals. Unisex, definitely leaning feminine -- but as a man, I'll rock it without thinking twice about it.

ive figured out what this was cloning instantly knew itnwas familiar upon first sniff. it is mercedes benz club, BUT a higher quality version of it. it also adds a buttery orris note with amped up spices and vanilla. its like a niche version of club black, 80% similarity in terms of scent profile seems like with this whole genesis line theyre doing twists on originals rather than direct copies.

I like this one! Not a fan of citrusy fragrances, but this reminds me of a citrus panettone with some sweetness wafting in this fragrance.
