Royal Blend Sequoia

I didn't buy this because of Kilian so I can't compare, but by comparing the notes I would say the OG must be sweeter, since FA has left out the sweet notes of caramel, vanilla and tonka beans – fine by me, this is how this became a contender and eventually a winner for me. However, I do get a bit of cinnamon, which is not listed, but it is well-blended and adds a touch of warmth to the composition. I'm sure it's in there because I get it also from sniffing the bottle, so it's not just how it reacts on paper or on my skin. And, on the other hand, I was happy to discover that praline here is not very prominent. I blind bought this because I was looking for a warmer (winter) version of Blu Femme by Ajmal – my first Oriental fragrance (although Indian, not Arabic; and not a dupe :)). For better or worse, it has become a benchmark when evaluating Oriental fragrances, also in terms of longevity and projection which are fantastic there. I like that fragrance very much, but find it more appropriate for colder or rainy spring and autumn days. The backbone of the two fragrances is very similar and they share quite a few notes: both have a combo of roses and (oak)moss (a combo I really enjoy and I have discovered this through Blu Femme) wrapped in woody notes with cashmere/praline adding softness. Blu opens up with a cold freshness from sage; this one has a well-balanced freshness of raspberries, immersed in the liquors with a hint of cinnamon. The boozy vibe is there, reminiscent of Mon cheri or some similar praline, so for me this is a more feminine leaning fragrance, without becoming too sweet. The longevity and projection are very good here too (this is extrait (not eau) de parfum), especially since I'm not a fan of overspraying (2-3 sprays max. for me; also, this is how I can evaluate and compare fragrances more objectively). This has been the best blind buy of the 2025 for me, and I have bought an additional bottle later on, before it runs out of stock (again). For once, the hype is justified – in a sense that this is truly a nice boozy fragrance in itself with excellent performance. *** Edited 4.1.2026: Regarding the presence of cinnamon note, I've checked the list of ingredients on the box, and it does contain two ingredients naturally found in cinnamon: alcohol denat, parfum (fragrance), water (aqua), benzyl alcohol, CINNAMYL ALCHOL, eugenol, CINNAMAL*, coumarin, geraniol, citronellol, limonene. *This one being responsible for the typical cinnamon smell & taste. Also, forgot to add, but as others have already pointed out, the bottle and the presentation of this fragrance is really stunning.

Im going to start this review off by saying i think this is one of my favorite perfumes of all time, and i really cant believe that im saying it, because im almost exclusively a gormand lover. Ive smelled and collected so many arabic perfume dupes, and to be honest I've never thought they were actually accurate. Usually when you see those TikTok videos of people swearing the perfume smells exactly the same as the original its based off of i almost always dont think they smell at all the same OR the arabic perfume is such poor quality in comparison to the original its unbearable. Im someone whos very sensitive to cheap astringent smelling ingredients and there have been times where the perfume will smell close to the original but the perfume is so cheap smelling that its sickening and headache inducing. For example I had D&G devotion people swore that victoria be lataffa was identical. In what universe I have no idea victoria was sharp lysol-like and metallic smelling. Then people said eclair smells like bianco latte, yea it does but it smells so cheap compared to the actual bianco latte it makes me feel sick after an hour. But this perfume royal blend smells almost IDENTICAL to angels share paradis and if anything I like this MORE. Not only does it smell almost identical but its genuinely high quality, its smoother then paradis and softer imo its more feminine then paradis as well. It has this soft jammy raspberry that lasts longer then in paradis and its less cognac heavy. I almost didnt buy this because I saw the oak moss was more prevalent in this one than paradis but im so happy my local arabic perfume shop had this to sample because its SO lovely. This is what I imagine a classic Hollywood actress from the 20s smelling like. The oakmoss in this dosnt have that nasty barbasol/funk quality like does in so many perfumes. I think thats because of the actress from the everlasting raspberry and the jammy quality of the rose, in this case the oak moss grounds the two making it smell more elegant then old, but more youthful at the same time. If youre a fan of rose i think this is safe to blind buy but I would suggest going into a Macy's or bloomingdales to smell paradis and then order this for the 50 bucks instead of buying it from Killian for $450

Yooo this is my one of the best pick up for 2025. I have a lot of green/freshie fragrance, and never really explored “gourmand,” “sweet,” or “boozy” scent. Although I have a couple of winter scent, Sequoia would be on the top of my list now. I have never brought Royal Blend series, this is my first one. I read and watch a lot of review on this series, but most of them are on the sweet side. I heard this has prominent fruity nose, so I pick it on French Avenue booth in local shopping center. Man, I was amazed with the presentation. The box is solid and comes with note card. The bottle is beautiful and elegant. To my nose, the opening smells like a cough syrup that children usually take, but in a good sweet way. Not too cloying. The sweetness followed up by boozy scent similar to whiskey but without the wooden barrel smell. It is really nice swear to god. I used to drink alot and this smells exactly like the moment I get shitfaced. The sweetness lingers a couple of while and it dries down to a woody/mossy notes with a very little hint of rose. This is very suitable for evening intimate night. You can also pull this off in the afternoon in a cool room, but then again this will triumph in breezy evening. Smells 85-90% like Paradis to me. This is crazy on the fraction of the price. This is a very suitable scent for alcoholic! Great scent overall. Will let it masturbate for couple of weeks, and hopefully it will get more potent.

I got this in the mail today, and I wanted to give a few observations here, because I feel like there is some strange fake reviews going on on each side with Lataffa and French Avenue. I own clones of many things by both brands, but I find that French Avenue is a step above Lataffa, but Lataffa is catching up. I purchased this because its reported that it is not as sweet as the OG or Lataffa version of this. I'm older, and cloying sweet frags just arent my cup of tea. Sweet is fine, but overly sweet is a young mans game in the frag world. This smells amazing, and while it is sweet, it is not overly sweet, and the cognac, rose, and raspberry are the stars of the show that I take away from it. This is a fairly strong frag, with good silliage for the first 3 hours, before it starts to scale back. I feel like this one will improve with macerating, as mine has changed over 6 hours after initial spraying. This is very nice, and I could see this getting compliments if you were out for the night. I do not own the OG, as I think $500 for 50ml is price gouging full tilt, and I'm disgusted with it. I picked this up for $40, and the quality from French Avenue has been excellent with the majority of their clones, including this one. I do not have another frag to compare this to, so its unique in my collection. 8 out of 10, and I'll revisit this because I think it will change.

A boozy syruppy raspberry, this is a fruity and a floral heavy fragrance, i never smell Paradis so i dont judge this as a clone This is a staple for date night smell, honesly you can rock this for every season but in the night (Experience may vary, Never take any opinion without any doubt) My bottle been macerating/maturating (whatever you will call it) for 1 month, at the first week the smell and the performance was horrendous it smelt “jumpy” like each second the smell will appear and dissapear, and the longevity was bad probably around 4 hours. But after a month it just turn into different fragrance, the smell become good, performance is better I always double spray at one location when using fragrance, and what i get is: On skin longevity is 12+ hours, honestly it stays forever but when you hit that 12 hours mark it become this lipsticky makeupy smelling and feeling when you put your nose to it, Projection is actually very good for the first hour, and everytime i put my nose too close its like stinging my nose a bit and the projection gradually pulling in every hour until it becom skin scent in the 8 hours mark but then it stay forever. On cloth longevity is forever, but for some reason for me when i spray on clothe it doesnt project or leave a sillage it just deafen. This is a really good night date and night special occasion fragrance

Owning both Kilian Angels' Share OG (AS) and Royal Blend OG (RB), I know this boozy DNA inside out, but Sequoia still surprised me. The opening cognac is remarkably identical to the AS, but masterfully twisted with a sharp, juicy raspberry. It almost gives off a raspberry gummy vibe that adds a delightful, juicy pop to the composition. This sweet-and-sour raspberry-cognac vibe dominates well into the mid-notes, becoming richer and sweeter as it blends with oakwood and earthy oakmoss. In the air, the sillage leaves a very luxurious trail where the booziness and the fruit profile balance each other out perfectly. For the first 1 to 2 hours, the scent stays firmly wood-forward and boozy. Interestingly, I didn't get any immediate praline sweetness. However, in the true dry-down, a comforting, sweet praline finally emerges, blending with the slightly dry woodiness. Performance is solid, lasting 8 to 10 hours on my skin with an arm's length projection for the first 2 hours. The raspberry twist strips away the mature, formal edge of the RB, making Sequoia a much more playful, sexy, and 100% unisex fragrance—perfect for date nights or clubbing, but skip it for the office. At around $35 a bottle, the value is absolutely insane. That being said, if you’re new to boozy or Angels' Share DNA, grab a decant first rather than going for a blind buy.

Disclaimer: I haven't smelled the real Angel's Share nor the Paradis (but I will update the review once I get my nose on them). This scent was quite hard for me to understand at first. If you smell it up close on skin it's very woody, with almost no sweetness of any kind, in a way even slightly green smelling. In the air however it's sweet, dense and beautiful. It smells like raspberry syrup with a touch of smoky booze. It's important to note that this is a parfum concentration and it doesn't have any bright notes to generate lift off the skin. For that reason(but also my wrists making scents disappear within minutes), it kind of falls flat when applied on wrists. As I'm writing this, I sprayed 3 times on my chest under my clothes and I keep getting beautiful wafts of it as the warmth is helping it project more. Longevity is very good, easily 12+ hours, multiple days on clothes, just beware of the oily nature of the concentration. I've also had people comment on this so projection is not really an issue either. This is strictly a cold weather scent, unisex but leaning slightly feminine, maybe a 55/45 split. Again, as I haven't smelled the original, I can't comment on how close it is to that scent, but as a scent on it's own, it's really beautiful and it keeps growing on me.

Gonna start off by saying that I'm not a connoisseur who has smelled 3000 perfumes and has a collection worth 40 grand. I'm just an enthusiast of good smells, and this is good. To put it simply, this is addictive. I've been inhaling this for the last 4 hours, and the sentiment hasn't budged. I have the same smile on my face as when I first sprayed it fresh out of the box. Now for some imagery. If you like things like Khamrah (or any of the flankers), more than likely, you would find this appealing. Khamrah and Sequoia are cousins at the family reunion BBQ with a secret handshake. If Khamrah Qahwa is something you would wear for Christmas, Sequoia is the grab for the 4th of July date night at the fireworks show. It's playful, it has a voice, and it doesn't leave early. It's unisex, but to me, masculine leaning, but not so much that it feels out of place on my skin. I would say this is a year-round scent, safe for nighttime. I wouldn't say this is a perfume you would vault and pass on to your children, but it's something that's going to be loved and used and, more likely than not, bought again.

Nose note #22: Note: 9-week maceration period review (could change in the future) Strong cognac and raspberry opening, along with some boozy notes and rose. A few moments later, the alcohol note fades away, leaving a light rose, much raspberry, and dark notes coming from the wood. I feel like this is niche quality: the raspberry won't feel synthetic or syruplike, the rose adds some elegance and refined touches to the fragrance, and the wood gives it the manly notes along with the cognac. A pretty well-balanced perfume. I would wear it if you don't mind unisex or female-leaning perfumes, since this is definitively not a manly fragrance. On the other hand, this is a compliment magnet for the night. Ideal for winter nights, and I would recommend a 4 to 5 week maceration period, since it can be a little gaudy in the beginning. Finally, I have to mention the bottle design and box presentation; it's astounding for this price range. Hope designers' houses get some inspiration from this. Price: 38€, 100 mL Rate: 8/10

I received this fragrance for Christmas and was delighted when I smelt it. People saying that the raspberry on the top note and on initial spray smells synthetic or too sweet, yet for me, I find it to be a perfect balance of natural smoothness combined with a sweet booziness. I absolutely adore how it smells and I do recommend it. 9/10 Perfect for those colder weathers and less humid environments as it may stick out too much. Those cold date nights, outside with friends, winter bar, kinda vibes. Longevity seems to be very good, especially on clothes, found that I could still smell it on a shirt I wore the night before. And projection? It's decent, Within talking distance, although it also depends on how you spray your fragrance, and if you're wanting to stick out like a sore thumb. Overall, a lovely fragrance, was a great blind-buy gift and was much appreciated. Price is also excellent for such a fragrance.

It took me a bit to get around to review this one because I didn't fully understand it at first.. like the previous reviewer.. it seemed to me that the notes didn't blend well. But its sat for a while and now it makes more sense.. you can now smell the angels share dna but with added woods and the raspberry, which isn't super prominent raspberry isn't the star here but a supporting role and it's quite lovely. Definitely still a fruitier woodier version of og Angels share, not quite as sweet and isn't giving "apple pie" imo it's darker, woodier and musky, and would be considered more unisex. The opening is not the best part of this fragrance that's the part that feels unblended but past that when it dries that's where the beauty happens and also excellent longevity I could still smell it the next morning and NO sharp super amber aromachemicals either just a smooth dry down.

An absolute banger, sweet, boozy in a sexy way, perfect for night out and of course for a date, nothing medicinal AT ALL! Drydown is so surprising and pleasant to those who don't like sweet fragrances (i am one of them)... Projection and sillage are beast mode, crazy longevity, 2 co-workers ran to me and asked about the name because they wanna buy it... i never received such fast excited compliments on a perfume :D It still smelled strong after 11 hours at work, got back home, went to bed, after 9 hours of sleep, it was still there but very light!!! I'm so excited because perfumes never project on my skin, i never smelled the OG Angel's Share or its flankers and not interested because i am not gonna buy expensive fragrances after the clone revolution we're living now. To the sweettooth perfume lovers: buy it blind.... to the sweet fragrance dislikers: sample it first

I’ve had my bottle for a couple months now. Has had time to mature. I like it. Not going to describe it more because everyone else has said what needs to be said about it. I am here to compare it to Zimaya Sharaf Divine. Divine is way closer to that smooth Angels Share DNA. Much smoother. Boozie raspberry. Definitely has hints of rose. It’s not bang on Angels Share Paradise, but it 100% smells like Angels Share with a twist of raspberry. Royal Blend Sequoia has more of a spiced undertone. I think Sequoia has more projection so when I wear Zimaya Sharaf Divine I go heavier on the sprays. On NYE I did 6 sprays of the Zimaya and then 1 spray of the sequoia on my shirt in the front and one in the back. Got some compliments and wife said I wasn’t overpowering or anything. Just leaving this here for someone like me who is looking for the best Angels Share / Paradise clone.

I own 350 of these clones (im retarded) and this is definitely in my top 5. This right here is quite possibly, indisputably, mathematically incontrovertible, in my humble subjective opinion, the greatest Male Gourmand fragrance of all time. It has everything. The beautiful packaging, the incredible eye catching bottle, the edible mouth watering decadently inspired juice, the cool name that you are not embarrassed to say when someone asks you to write down its name (they invariably will). This is a must buy for anyone who is stupid enough to get trapped in this hobby of fragrance collecting. If you are a novice, please proceed with caution as this could be the scent that infects you with the terrible affliction of fragrance addiction. Perpetually chasing that high that Royal Blend Sequoia gave you, ALAS YOU WILL NEVER REACH THAT MOUNTAIN TOP AGAIN!!!!! 7.9/10

Royal Blend Sequoia delivers a beautifully crafted scent experience. The opening bursts with a juicy raspberry note wrapped in a smooth liquor accord that immediately catches your attention. As the fragrance develops, the sandalwood emerges—creamy, warm, and very well polished. It has a touch of the same warm, boozy aura found in Angel Share Paradis by Kilian—not a 1:1, but definitely sharing the same luxurious mood and style. Compared to other popular Middle Eastern releases, the difference in quality is clear. I own Khamrah Qahwa from Lattafa, and while it’s enjoyable, French Avenue feels noticeably more refined, smoother in the blend, and more natural in the transitions. Overall, this is one of the standout offerings from French Avenue—rich, elegant, and absolutely worth sampling if you enjoy fruity-boozy gourmands done at a higher quality level.

Nowadays I almost exclusively look at my favorite YouTube reviewers (Joy Amin, Redolessence, Scent Gents and The Perfume Guy) before I blind buy-invest in a new fragrance. I do this because I suspect there are many "fake" reviews in here, that possibly even could be people working for another perfume brand. Well, thats what I suspect many times... As for Sequoia, it was Joy Amin's review in particular that made me press the buy button :) I received my bottle today and I probably don't want to take away the surprise that you have in store by writing a review here,) This applies to both the packaging, the bottle, the spray and the divine scent in the bottle :) I am completely in love with this and have never felt anything like it before in terms of perfume. I have both Royal Blend and Sequoia and I wore them on opposing arms. At the top you get almost like a raspberry syrup for pancakes on top of the normal royal blend boozy cinnamon. I don't find it overbearing but it does make it sweeter. The raspberry lasted for about 30 minutes. Once the raspberry fades away they smell similar but sequoia has less of the boozy bite and just smells all around less heavy than RB. RB might lean a little more woody and smokey but very subtley. If you enjoy a sweet raspberry and less heavy woods, you can go with Sequoia and won't be missing anything. You definitely don't need both if you have one already. Royal Blend: 9/10 Sequoia: 8.5/10 I personally just prefer the heaviness of OG and a little more of the boozy/spicy/cinnamon. Otherwise, they are both great.

This perfume is crazy. When you first spray it, you get hit with this luxurious raspberry with some other notes in the back. When it starts to calm down it becomes like this raspberry cinnamonroll combined with the softness of a raisin. 100% a date night night perfume for special occasions. If you decide to put it on at summer or a hot day, then you will definitely choke someone out. It’s heavy but soft, sweet with a touch of liquor. I can see women wearing this and there will be no doubt that its a woman fragrance but at the same time a man could wear this and there would be no doubt that its a man fragrance. (Though it leans a little bit more to the feminine side just a bit) A solid 9,5/10 Could definitely recommend to a classy person

Just smelled Paradis today on skin. Sequoia is making me write my first review. Longevity on sequoia is great. Projection sits closer to skin imo. Maybe it will change after sitting for a bit if maceration is truly a thing. I won't dive deeper into the notes and dry down, but I was actually left speechless when I smelled Paradis today. It gets 90% there to me. The raspberry note is better in Paradis (better ingredients?). It's 501$ CAD for a 50ml of Paradis while I got sequoia for 70 after tax. That's what left me speechless. What the heck is the point of spending 580$ for something I can get for 70$. I don't care about slightly fancier ingredients. French Avenue did it again. Rating: 9/10 Blind buy safe: Yes

Royal Blend Sequoia doesn't smell at all like I imagined. It's not particularly sweet, it starts with fresh mossy raspberry along with a light powdery rose. Reminds me of the Gris Dior profile mixed with Angel's Share. But if Gris Dior is a meditative and austere scent, here the sweetness of praline and tonka bean gradually appears, and along with them there is also woodiness. Such an interesting variation of AS. It’s as if the original AS puts you in that move with a ball with DiCaprio where he raises champagne, here they move you to a Gothic castle and lit it with red light. Idk if I can suggest blind buying it, but as a fan of Dom Rosa (similar vibe) and Gris Dior, I love it!
