Spectre

I've long avoided clones due to their (mostly) cheap scent profiles and linear development. However, with the increasing competition in this space, the quality is noticeably improving, and brands like French Avenue are leading the charge. I recently purchased this fragrance alongside Royal Blend, both at $30. Without exaggeration, I think its safe to say that their scent quality rivals some of the $100+ fragrances in my collection, especially Spectre. I enjoy wearing it side-by-side with Tom Ford's Ombre Leather EdP on each wrist, enjoying their scent for hours. The opening is VERY smoky, yet not pungent or medicinal. It evokes a churchy incense aroma with a subtle sweetness beneath. After about 20 minutes, the leather note becomes more prominent and assertive. What I truly appreciate is how the leather starts as rugged and worn, reminiscent of an old pair of leather gloves or a dusty leather couch, then transitions into a creamy, powdery, and smooth accord as Amberwood and Sandalwood emerge. This powdery leather feel persists throughout the drydown, until I can sense a faint earthy and dirty patchouli accord in the final stages on my skin. Performance is currently solid. I'm getting around 7-8 hours of longevity with average projection for the first 90 minutes, which then settles into a more intimate bubble scent for another two hours. This fragrance truly shines in cold weather. I've owned it for a month now and haven't noticed any significant improvement (it was already great out of the box btw), but I'm curious to see how it evolves if it sits for another month. One weird thing about Spectre is the atomizer. It dispenses a very tiny mist, so I usually double-tap the atomizer for each spot. --UPDATE-- after another month of sitting around I am pleased to update that the performance has improved! tested in cold weather(4°C) i got to the 12 hour mark and 2 hours of strong projection with 6 sprays! --ANOTHER lil UPDATE-- its been around 5 months of owning this. was fresh out of the shower and saw Spectre blinking at me in the corner of my drawer. its been a long time since I'd put it in that corner in the favor of fresher scents...why not? I said. gave it another wearing and I'm just STUNNED at how much the scent evolved. its now sweeter, more woody, powdery and creamy. this scent is now 100% Niche quality. I mean it was great already out of the box but now? I'm out of words while silently ordering 4 other boxes of Spectre for the rest of my life. 💯/💯 P.S. French Avenue has another Falcon Leather clone (Mystic Leather) which is a really weird flex, but Spectre already seems superior. although, it is more difficult to find and is overshadowed by Ghost and, to some extent, Wraith.

Never tried Falcon leather, but this stuff is crazy good if you want a really good wild smoky leather scent. There are some leathers that I don't like at all, but this one is really satisfying, and I'm not sure what to compare it to. I guess it's somewhere between african leather and Ombre leather, but I hesitate to even say that, because I don't even like either of those very much, but I love this. I feel like there is some of that spectre DNA runnin through this, but hard to tell because it's so different from the others. It is so well blended and smooth. I can't pick out notes here, just smells like nice smoky leather and some smooth woods down in there that are just exactly the right tiny amount of sour sappyness backing up the leather. That might sound weird, but trust me, it is perfect. No sharp unpleasantness going on whatsoever as far as I can detect, unlike a lot of other leather/wood heavy scents I've tried. Dark Rebel comes to mind, which I hated. This is what Dark Rebel should have been years ago. All I know is I love it. It's cheap enough to just buy if you're even leaning that way, I recommend it, but I would do it now because I had a hard time finding mine. Maybe I'm dumb but it doesn't seem to be widely available right now and I have no idea why. Lots of spectre ghost and wraith at discounters, but not the original?? The damn cap broke in half when I opened the first bottle, so watch out for that lmaooo. The inner actual cap remained on the atomizer, and the plastic cap cover is now detached, so I guess I'll have to glue it. If you care about that, there ya go, but I don't. The juice is top-notch and gets my stamp. Even if I don't end up wearing this a ton, I'll keep my 2 bottles just to enjoy at home. It smells that good. It is totally wearable in a lot of situations, though. I would wear this all the time if my circumstances allowed for it more (I work in a hospital office setting). I think this stuff is so smooth and good-smelling that you could pull it off at any time and any place outside of an office or other stiff setting. I'm floored by how a company like French Avenue can make such insanely good stuff like the Spectres and Lumiére Garçon for so cheap. There is no way this stuff stays scarce. It's too good to just go away. EDIT: Nvm I just saw it on perfumeonline.ca for 26.72US a bottle 😂 best bargain in the world of perfume. Out of control. Better stock up boys.

This might be my favorite leather fragrance and I've smelled Ombre Leather and Tuscan Leather from Tom Ford, La Yuqawam from Rasasi, and Bentley for Men Intense (although this one may not be characterized as leather forward, the leather is excellent in this). Now, this is all first impressions so I'll return after a few weeks for a full review but this smelled too good not to sing it's praises! So, right off the top, I'm smelling a dark leather but it's not dank nor funky. This does have a very noticeable birch tar accompanying that leather. Reminds me of that tar accord in Mugler A Men, which I can't stop sniffing. It does have this gasoline type of scent on the opening but I LOVE that about this! That doesn't stay too long for those concerned about that. There's also patchouli poking it's head around the corner, slowing moving in. This is also smoky and that is what I was worried about because I've tried many fragrances that were characterized as smoky, but not done well for my nose and skin. This is a perfect concoction of leather, birch tar, patchouli, and incense smoke! The projection is excellent! So I'm optimistic about the longevity. I now have this, Ghost, and Wraith in my collection. I love Ghost, HATE Wraith (can't get over this hot breath nuisance in that, so that's in the decant pile). Ghost is a more sensual experience with that vanilla. The OG is more rugged in the notes smelled, but done in an incredibly smooth manner...maybe the sugar note? It's easily the most interesting of the three. At this moment, the OG ranks first with Ghost eerily close, and Wraith being lapped in this race lol. If you're a fan of masculine forward leather fragrances, you must try this at least. Now that's not to say women can't wear this because I know a few that sport Encre Noire where I'll just use that if I don't want anyone in my space lol. This could be a fragrance I'll chase after again...highly likely lol. For those that decide to give this a try, hopefully you'll enjoy this as much as I have in the short amount of time I've had it. One of Fragrance World's best offerings! Very good off fabric, better on skin.

Blend 4 / 5 (complex but somewhat linear) Uniqueness 4 / 5 (there are many out there perfume in the sweet leather theme) Quality 5/5 (powerhouse and felt expensive) Yes I can smell this perfume is fall into Leather Theme. It might not have the leather notes in it. Deep down Spectre has that oriental DNA but not that Oud enough to make it feels middle eastern. Upon my first sniff. Spectre to me felt Gourmandish with Dried Fruit, Thick & Syrupy Fruit Jam Spread. The sweetness in this perfume has that fruit quality which is having very faint sourness. The sweetness from caramelized fruit can also evokes Middle Eastern Tobaccoish and Boozyness feels in it. There also faint creamyness quality in it. Although there is no vanilla listed. And have woodyness quality in the background. Which feels Resinous and Aromatic Wood Sap that gives impression sweet clean oud. Along with drier wood scent resemble a Wood Plank. It's quite linear. But still I can smell different ingredients in it. I feel it is well made and very balance. With sweetness little bit pronounce. The sweetness and wood makes this perfume easy to wear. With little bit grittyness from leather which makes this perfume feels expensive. I find this kind of theme is not unique. And you can find easily in Zara or every other Fashion Brand. I believe this perfume is done with quality material. It definitely doesn't feel cheap to the nose. Unfortunately I'm not into sweet perfume to be honest. This one is overly sweet compared to Gucci Absolute Homme. Would I buy another bottle, I guess not. Comparable to (sweet leather): - Angel Schlesser Deep Leather - Armani Leather perfumes - Zara Leather perfumes And have polar opposite qualities to (dry leather): - Gucci Absolute Homme

Having never smelled that niche fragrance, I can only judge Spectre on its own merits. It's an insanely strong leather style DNA fragrance. It's a blend of slight sweetness, strong smoky leather, wood, oud, incense, spice, floral and powder aromas. Despite the fancy blend, the truth is that the smoky leather dominates and may literally smell like a glove to some people. So this is very much a love it or leave it fragrance, almost as polarizing as an oud fragrance. This is perfect for older male users who love leather fragrances as I do. It's not good for either women or younger users who prefer the fresh and sweet DNA. It's straight up niche quality for an insanely good price in a beautiful original presentation. Performance is quite powerful. This is very underrated ironically due to the success of its own great flankers, Spectre Wraith and Spectre Ghost. Burt if you love leather forward originals and clones, this is an absolute must. Highly recommended.

#1345 in my "Tour de Fragrance" Up front, I have never tried "Falcon Leather." First whiff here is the smell of car leather seats just sprayed with ArmorAll. Some kind of petroleum distillate odor (birch tar?) mixed with pencil eraser. I'm sure I've smelled that smell in Pinkstaff's (sounds like a porn star name right?), a custom saddle shop in my home town. Takes a little under a half hour for that harshness to dissipate and what's left smells identical to Orto Parisi "Cuoium" which cost me around $170, so obviously this is a comparative steal I wish had come along sooner. But as it happens I don't reach for the Cuoium all that often anyway. I have a couple dozen primarily leather scents that are all fine, but which I have barely worn since the day I purchased them, so I'm probably not the target audience for any primarily leather-focused scent. Of what I have, Clive Christian "C Woody Leather with Oud Intense" is my top gun, and I would also place Dunhill "British Leather", Chopard "Leather Malaki", even Fragrance World's "Mystic Leather " ahead of this and Cuoium. But if what you want is a straight-out-of-the-tannery leather, this is on target. Not sure I'd wear this in close spaces for at least an hour after applying. Definitely lasts the day and projects for several hours. It's kind of a beast at first, but really grows on you with an amazing dry down scent by the afternoon. This one I'll shelve for a couple of months to see if it morphs.

Seriously, I've fallen in love with this fragrance, it's incredible. I bought it the other day alongside, anaqeed, not only intense and fakhar and seriously, this is my best purchase. Im 23 so a lot of people might thing that its a bold fragrance for youngers but this fragrance aligns with my energy like pants with a shirt lol. The fragrance isn't for everyone at all, not everyone will appreciate it or be bold enough to wear it but I'm pretty sure women would faint over this. I sprayed it on my wrist yesterday and seriously, I couldn't stop smelling it, it's sexy af (pardon me). Based on my experience with fragrances so far this one really stands out in my collection and it's a fragrance that will grown in me especially after it macirates for a couple of months. Will update on that but so far I seriously can't wait till I rock it on a night out. Updated opinion: a couple of days in, wore it once and it felt like it came up too strong but faded away rapidly as well, it feels like the longevity of it is weak, should I leave it for a couple of weeks to macerate till I judge it's performance? The smell is captivating but it hurts to see it not lasting. Anyone share an opinion? Another update: this is definitely one of the smoothest and darkest fragrances I've gotten in my collection, I'll definitely get a backup bottle of it, lasts forever and can't wait till I start wearing it more.

Firstly, what a sick presentation. That bronze metal plate and rusty texture feels so premium! The packaging ain't look cheap and it's the bottle is dang heavy. 10/10 for presentation. Opens up with this bright petroleum-like scent with spices underneath (only lasts for seconds). Theb immediately transitions to heavy smoke and leather with a very dusty texture. That's probably the mid already so I think there's like almost to none top notes for having heavy notes listed above the mid that would stay with you for almost 2 hrs. It becomes sweeter on the dry down, it's like smoky, dusty, musky with a little sweetness. That's pretty much it. Performance is kind of dissapointing tho, Only strong projection for a couple of mins then become moderate projection for 2 hrs.. It only lasts for 6-7 hours for me despite having heavy notes. Overall I would rate this for 7.5/10 for having such a great scent but lacking on performance. UPDATE: BRO THE PERFORMANCE IS NUCLEAR😭😭☢️☢️ ANOTHER UPDATE: Since the performance got better, I'd rate it from 7.5 to 8.5/10. It's still hard to wear bcuz of it's dense dark smell and almost everyone doesn't seem to like it. I'm 23 and only rocking this whenever I wear a leather jacket.

I was searching a dark, leathery, smoky and masculine type of fragrance for a long time and I saw this fragrance. I don't know how falcon leather smells like but I can easily say that Spectre is a fantastic leather fragrance. Opening is a nearly animalic leather smell and some of my friends found it heavy but personally I love the opening. It is quite realistic. The animalic leathery type of smell goes away after 10-15 minutes and it becomes a more likeable leathery-woody-smoky and little bit sugary. In addition, i can smell the earthy/chocolatey patchouli at the background. For this price, it has an excellent quality. I think that the quality of spectre is better than most designer and good as some of niche fragrances. When it comes to longevity and sillage, I can say that it is beyond my expectations. It has 10 Hours lasting on skin and noticeable sillage for 4 hours. Also It lasts for days on clothes. It is suitable for winter/fall days and mostly nights. All in all, it is great leather fragrance for this price and the quality it has impressed me so much.

****UPDATE ON AN UPDATE***** I just layered this with lattafa khamrah and I can't even describe how cloying this is, boozynes and sweetness from the khamrah alongside the dark and mysterious leather and smoke/tar of that fragrance made a bomb seriously. Wear that possibly in a date night possibly even to the nightclub it's incredible. Had to add another review on this. This has changed so much since last year when I bought it seriously I'm amazed. I initially bought it, liked it's vibe then grew tired of it's harshness, regretted buying it and now going back to it, this has become mature as it should be, it's calmer, gives more of a ombre nomade and ombre leather vibe but with a twist of initio oud for greatness. It's still dark but it's smoother now, still animalic but smells a bit fresher and sweeter than last year. I feel the difficulty in this would be on where you would wear it at but overall I am pleased for it's evolution.

Spectre is a quite powerful but fairly linear collection of warm spice accords. It evokes a spice market to me rather than leather goods. Cardamom, allspice, and nutmeg with occasional bursts of saffron are the most prominent. Longevity is excellent, being still detectable after a full day. The primary development over several months of maturation has been the loss of what little leather was initially present. Failing to smell any leather puts me in the minority of reviewers here, but I thought it worth adding my two cents. It's still a great value at its price point. My biggest problem (admittedly a small problem) with Spectre has to do with the really cool container design. Both the bullet on the bottle and the other on the cap are still in the cartridges. This is like an arrow buried in a target while it's still on the bowstring. Once I noticed, it stands out every time I see it. Dang.

Review #2 by the Blind Buy King (me): Good Lord this thing oozes masculinity. A direct quote: "It's more masculine than I am." Straight up, if you're a skinny scrawny guy with no huzz, literally don't buy this I'm not even kidding. This scent screams "I bench 200 at least". It smells like a well-built, mature and socially capable lumberjack. Very prominent notes of leather and woods. It literally just smells like leather on crack. You will smell like leather. More subtle notes of sweetness, hinting at your soft emotions under the hard rock layer of your bulging muscles. This is a one-spray fragrance. Only for someone who wants the smoke. If I was yoked, that's an easy 9.3. However, I happen the be the aforementioned skinny scrawny guy, so I'm gonna give this a 6.5. On a more positive note, an insane bottle and a beautiful case. Good shelf flex.

Today, after a year, as the weather got colder, I went for this perfume and I must say I was amazed. It has changed a lot and become more pleasant. Before, it was very harsh, giving off a heavy scent of leather, wood, and smoke. But now it's much more balanced, and the note that stands out more is violet. To make sure my nose was working correctly, I even opened this site to see if violet was really among the notes. I also feel a slight sweetness now, which might be due to the sugar cube note. My overall score now after a year is 9.00 out of 10. I suggest wearing it from afternoon onwards. Autumn and winter. Preferably with a more formal style, especially with a cashmere coat, it would be magnificent.

What? I’m sat here wondering how a $29 fragrance smells this good. Up close for the first 20-25 minutes, it’s a synthetic mess. But once it dries down, wow. I’m unsure I agree with Heheoye below. Leather scents like Ombre Leather and Afnan Carbon offer a lighter style of leather with a nicely blended jasmine or violet respectively, IMO. This stuff is darker. Especially the punch from the smoke and patchouli. The violet is barely noticeable off my skin. The projection is moderate to strong and is much better in the air. Longevity is easily 8+ hours. Winter evenings with a single malt, most definitely. Outstanding value. Knocked out with this.

I've never tried Falcon Leather, but this, this is so good but not for faint-hearted LOL. At initial spray, you'll get a lot of smoke, leather, wood and somehow it's quite identical to paint thinner (or maybe gasoline). If you hate the opening please wait until 10-15 minutes, it's getting better and better. I detect a hint of vanilla and a touch of sweetness. So masculine & potent! You have to try this at least once in your life hahaha

Third review of Spectre: I bought this in June and found it to be more warm spice than leather. That held for more than three months with the spice intensity actually increasing over that period. I left it on the shelf for all of October, only now giving it another shot. Spices are gone with a heaping pile of rough leather in its place. This is everything I hoped for on day one. Very nice.

This guy certainly has some punch. Seems to get getting better with sitting in the dark for a few months. The leather note took a bit of getting used to, however it's grown on me. Bold and not for everybody, but I'm a fan of this whole Spectre line.

Wearing this over the last several days, I've noticed Spectre dries down predictably for a few hours before the intensity ramps up aggressively for hours five through seven. A subtle, pleasant sweetness emerges after that. What a wild ride.

WOW! Just WOW! I love Falcon Leather, and this is an absolutely stunning rendition of it. I'm literally gobsmacked at the quality too. Smokey, sexy and simply sublime. I actually prefer this to Spectre Ghost.

If you love falcon leather by matiere premiere you can blind buy this its almost 1 to 1. I can positively say falcon leather is a tad bit better but this is just immaculate.

This is the perfect layering bottom scent to go with the sweet, boozy top spray of your choice... You're welcome.

I love it wow, this fragrance though me one thing; don’t listen to anyone

Spectre by French Avenue Ordered this by accident. Thought I was buying Ghost and didn’t realize there was an original. Couldn’t return it because it’s liquid, so I was stuck with it. This is a grown man scent. Confident, masculine, bearded. Feels like Sundays and suits. Not for everyone. This leans heavy Middle Eastern and it’s polarizing. It opens dark and immediate. Heavy smoke, thick saffron, almost like you bottled a fireplace and sprayed it on. There is a dry, slightly spicy edge that keeps it from feeling flat, but this is not subtle. As it settles, the smoke softens just enough to become wearable, but it never fully backs down. The drydown stays warm, resinous, and intense. You’ll smell like you have good credit. 750 plus. Where this gets interesting is layering. I use this as a base and go over it with something sweet. Vanilla, rose, boozy profiles work best. Lattafa Khamrah or Lattafa Liquid Brun on top changes everything. Give it about 30 minutes and it turns into a smooth, intoxicating blend that pulls the harshness into something addictive. Performance is not the issue. This projects and lasts with authority. It fills space and holds. On its own, it is a tougher wear. That’s reflected in the grade. Nose Note #792 Man, this is a tough nut... I've regretted buying this so much. I've sprayed it on my arm once and immediately thought: "Well, I'm not wearing this today" because I was afraid I'll get an instant headache + just get sick from it. This is ultra smokey and leathery. It literally smells like smoke - something like charcoals they put in a hookah, but with a big leather note on top. The leather is such - imagine the smokey birch note from Aventus, but somehow made into leather. So for this reason I'm getting weird Aventus vibes. I'm picking up some weird sweetness too. And it's definately borrowing this incensy feeling from Amouage Interlude. Spectre just like Interlude is to my nose just screaming "they made me for a 50+ yo millionare that's so full of oneself". So now you see why it's tough. Smoke is a challenging note especially being this heavy + it feels like a scent for the elderly. I can't see an occasion where I might wear this. It has to be an outdoors event, because this will easily offend almost every single person. And how do you dress this? I have no idea. But still! For some reason I'm not repelled by it as I was in the very beginning. It's nice as an experience. 7/10, very niche and complex

I bought Spectre a few months ago when I was looking for a leathery fragrance. One smell and I decided to buy it. It's not a fragrance that everyone will like, but it is a perfume with a lot of personality. It's not leather like Ombre Leather. This one can remind us of the smell of a car interior fresh from the confessional, while Falcon Leather is reminiscent of a much older, classic, and opulent leather. I find the opening really bold, and at times I can even feel too overwhelmed by it. I find it somewhat pungent (spicy, I suppose) and with a slight gasoline scent. The latter comes from the combination of incense, saffron, and especially the use of synthetic leather and tar notes. But that's it: after 10 minutes, the best leather in the world appears. Well, I'm really ignorant when it comes to perfumes, but it smells amazing. Yes, I think it is a suitable perfume for older people (+30), but at 23 I wear it proudly.

Unmistakably a Falcon Leather clone. The leather and birch tar is prominent for the 15+ hours this will stick to you. Very strong fragrance. It does have remnants of Colonia Leather by ADP, but the birch tar note gives it a density and syrupy richness that may prove intolerable to some. I could only ever wear Spectre on the coldest of winter days; it is not a versatile fragrance. More masculine, too. If you like leather that is dark, heavy and (cloyingly) sweet, you will enjoy Spectre. Be sure to go easy on the sprays - three is enough.

For the price this is amazing. Smoke , Woods and Leather. Straight up smells like some of my vintage leather jackets. This would be a fragrance you can use to add to a all black or leather jacket type of fit to complete the whole vibe. The performance is decent and at it’s price it’s definitely a steal 8/10

If you love leather, just blind buy it, this will be nice addition to your collection, guaranteed! This one is great leather fragrance, strong projection, strong sillage, and super long lasting. Altough I will not buying it again because I dont have many occasion that suit this scent profile.

This is FIRE. Way, way underrated/ignored. Gorgeous masculine leather scent with just enough sweetness to keep it relevant. I get a bit of a cinnamon/leather vibe on the drydown. Wife loves it. I have the flankers and prefer this one

Definitely something different to the Ombre Leather vibe. The smoke in this one is more supportive than overpowering. Bold, sexy and smooth comes to mind while still remaining very wearable. A good one to add to your collection.

Wow pretty impressed by this..the fragrance is near identical to falcon leather only falcon leather seems a bit darker but in all honesty good longevity solid projection and the price point highly recommend

Leather, mostly dry with smoke undertones. Quite potent so easy on the trigger. Perfect for colder weather, but also works surprisingly well in around 200C. If you like leather this is worth giving a try.

I was looking for a smoky fragrance so went to perfume store near by to try this one. opening is a bit harsh, showers you with smell of burning dry wood, I got a feeling of dryness in the smell, its strong but not like headache causing sweet type strong. As it dries down after 15 min or so, I started getting hint of incense, balsamic notes. some sweet notes also start appearing in dry down. after 30 min the smell doesn't change anymore. Its a bitter, smoky incense fragrance. As it feels dry to me, I would reach for this in humid rainy weather. Its definitely a mature man's fragrance and should be worn selectively. I wouldn't wear this just for fun and enjoyment, this something one would wear to make a statement. I can picture this being worn by someone in 40's/50's riding a cruiser or a guy wearing traditional Arab attire going to religious gathering. Definitely not a safe blind buy. I sprayed it generously on my wrists but it didn't last with same silage for long, after 2 hours when i smell my wrists its still there but not hint of it when wrist if away from my nose. So longevity is low to moderate, probably it will last more on clothes.

Unfortunatly I don't smell any leather in this, or not the typical leather smell I know in perfumes. It's more like a smoky-vanilla scent with some woody undertones, regardless it doesn't lists vanilla as a note, but sugar cane. In the beginning the smoke has some bitterness that fades away. Some spices would help make it more interesting. The performance is good for this kind of scent. Only for 30+ men. Somehow it reminds me Zadig & Voltaire - This is him. I hoped it would be more similar to Gucci - Guilty Absolute, but it's a much much less aggressive and edgy scent. For sure it's one of a kind . . .

Every Influencer and review box below suggest that French Avenue is spending good bucks on marketing. People in comment section stating that it lasts for 7 - 8 hours, trust me folks that's not true. Its not noticeable at aaalllll to a person sitting next to you after 10 minutes or may be 5 minutes, and you could barely smell this after 1 hour of applying - unless you force your nose to smell. In conclusion, No projection zero sillage, wastage of money!!!

Straight up Ashtray, it's just repulsive like the other one with the Bullet style bottle, but this is somehow even worse. I thought Mancera Red Tobacco was bad, this sh#t blew the roof straight off, it set a standard so low I don't think anything else will beat it

This smelt like brown leather dipped in gasoline, which is how the OG smelt like based on my two smell tests of the OG. But after about a year of maturation, a bit of vanilla creaminess has come into this fragrance and the gasoline accord has reduced. So now it's still very leather-heavy but it's a slightly creamy, slightly vanillic, brown leather that has a light misting of gasoline (or Dior Fahrenheit). This is one of the nicest extremely-leather-heavy fragrances I've smelt AFTER the year-long maturation. I'd still never wear this on a date -- this is much more rugged than Tom Ford Tuscan Leather or Ombre Leather. It's kind of like Memo Paris Italian Leather with a misting of gasoline (or Dior Fahrenheit), although this has a bit less vanilla and no green accord. I see some people smell a smoke accord in this. I didn't get any smoke until I read those reviews. I think the undertone of smoke is helping create the leather accord akin to brown leather workwear (e.g. boots, gloves). After all, the OG scent is meant to smell like a falconer's glove.

Alright first try I hated this. Out the gate it was like headache in a bottle. Probably the most potent out of all my 200 frags I own. It was out of control and I was gonna throw it out. A week later I did a 5-way leather shootout and had falcon leather in there and added spectre and it was a little rougher but clearly a rugged leather scent and I was coming around to it. Another week after that I tried it side by side with falcon leather and it was basically like 95%. It’s a rugged, realistic, and animalic leather vibe and a very close clone of falcon leather.

An absolute Niche fragrance - your really need to try before you buy - this is NOT a fragrance fro the masses - I personally use it only on special occasions - it is strong and long lasting. It can be harsh at the opening - it really screams at you - but the dry down becomes more pleasant. I will not rebuy again - as I would be looking into something smoother like Ombre Leather from TF.

A little heavier than the original Falcon Leather. Smells like my grandpa's old Cadillac DeVille or my uncle's massive cowhide lay-z-boy. I usually gravitate towards more citrus or fruity but I like this one actually. I'd be a little nervous wearing it to work, more of the kind of fragrance you wear to the gun range or a party where you have to wear a Shirt With Buttons.

Smells like bird poop. I think Fragrance World should release more Spectres, a pink bottle would sell like crazy with the women. Think about it, do it, and give me my comission! What about a glow in the dark one? Man I have good ideas.

A fantastic leather fragrance Dark smoky woody leather Also sweet, very likeable and easy to wear. 10 hrs performance. Must try for anyone who likes masculine colognes.
