Wow... what a luxurious fragrance. This is a rich, creamy, niche-level iris composition that immediately stands out for its quality. In my opinion, it surpasses the majority, if not all of the offerings from Franch Avenue in terms of refinement and craftsmanship. The scent feels captivating, expensive, and exceptionally polished. It carries an elegant, VIP-like aura, something tailored for formal occasions and elevated settings rather than casual daily wear. There’s a sensual and mysterious character to it that makes it highly seductive. After around 15-20 minutes, the elemi and vanilla begin to emerge, adding an even smoother and creamier layer to the composition, making the fragrance feel more rounded and luxurious. In terms of quality and texture, it reminds me of Giorgio Armani Privé Cuir Améthyste ... particularly in the richness of the iris and the soft violet-like note (even though violet is not officially listed). The ingredient quality, especially the iris accord, feels well above standard designer-level perfumery and comfortably leans into niche territory. This is a safe blind buy for anyone who appreciates elegant, creamy iris fragrances. That said, it’s not something I would classify as an everyday scent. It shines best in formal, romantic, or special-occasion settings where its luxurious character can truly stand out. Performance is solid, with long-lasting longevity and moderate projection. This was a blind buy request, my parents bought me for Christmas as a fairly cheap gift. I was very pleasantly surprised by how rich and well blended the scent profile was. The elemi & Bergamot opening is sweet, and tops off the Iris and vanilla well, whilst the vetiver and cedarwood ground the fragrance with a slight masculine leaning edge. This is a very work friendly scent, but it can be worn for any occasion in general. It has a very dry texture to it, not quite powdery, but it allows the sweeter elements to come through to make it balanced without it being sickly sweet or too overpowering. It's quickly become one of my favourite scents, and the bottle is very cool -especially the cap. I appreciate this is a clone of a another brand, but I do not feel the urge to buy whatever this is cloning, as this is enjoyable as it is. This is a bit more refined when compared to your average designer, and well rounded without the harsh opening that you get in a lot of clone fragrances. Paris Corner have made a few really good fragrances in recent times, and this is right up there for me. It's in rotation with some big dogs as well, but manages to hold its own and still get worn.

I just got this perfume, a batch from two months ago, so it definitely needs a lot of maturation. But let me tell you about my experience. When you spray it, the first thing you notice is a sharp scent of pepper and elemi on a very prominent bed of lavender and iris. In the background of this fragrance, I also detect a milky scent and something similar to saline water. It's a classy perfume. It completely possesses the characteristics of a niche fragrance. I think it's much higher quality than the money I paid for it. It pairs very well with formal, semi-formal, and smart casual styles for men. In my opinion, it's excellent for formal, academic, and office environments. Day and night, during the autumn and winter seasons. Certainly, after two or three months of maceration, like other French Omani works I've owned, the notes will settle better and their performance will increase. My overall score is 8.5 out of 10. I'll post my review again in two months.

Nose Note #906 Noone really mentions this but to me this smells a lot like Givenchy Gentleman Boisee. It's not quite DHI, maybe 80%, closer to Valentino Uomo Intense, definately. Anyway - if you like any of them, you'll love this. Longevity is mediocre though, the worst part of it, but which makes it a all-year-round scent. Gentleman Eau de Parfum Boisée isn't a crazy performer but I could smell it off myself for hours and hours. This one is gone in maybe 3-4 hours plus the sillage is worse. I just don't smell it much off myself. The strongest DHI kind of DNA that I've had was La Collection D'antiquités 1886 - this one is a very very strong performer, but it's definately a bit too feminine for me. Thunder won't work on women. Scent-wise this is amazing and I like it more than DHI 2011. 8.5/10, love it

French Avenue Thunder is a really solid iris fragrance that lasts well on skin. The iris is smooth, powdery, and slightly creamy and milky, giving it that classy “lipstick” vibe but what makes it stand out is the performance. It easily lasts 7+ hours on skin, and the projection is very good for the first few hours before settling into a noticeable scent bubble. You’ll definitely get noticed without it being overwhelming. Overall, it’s a great pick if you want an iris scent that actually lasts and projects and to my nose it kinda smells like a mix of old dior homme parfum batches and mr thompson. I give it 9/10 it is a beautiful composition if you love creamy lipsticky iris.

من تازه این عطرو گرفتم اما بذارید از تجربم براتون بگم وقتی عطرو اسپری میکنید بوی تند فلفل و تلخ المی توی بستری برجسته ای از اسطوخودوس و زنبق براحتی حس میشه توی بک گراند عطر کاملا نت شیر و بویی شبیه آب نمک رو حس میکنم و بعد از گذشت یک ساعت چوب سدر و خس خس بهتر به مشام میاد اما همچنان زنبق هم باقی مونده بسیار شبیه عطر های نیش طراحی شده و بنظرم کیفیتش از پولی که بابتش میدیم خیلی بیشتره با استایل های رسمی و نیمه رسمی و اسمارت کژوال مردونه خیلی عالی ست میشه برای روز و شبهای سرد پاییز و زمستون مناسبه مثل اکثر عطرای فرنچ اونویی که داشتم میدونم مسریشن روشون خیلی تاثیر میذاره پس دوباره دو ماه دیگه برمیگردم و بررسیمو اینجا میذارم تا الان به طور کلی نمره 8.5 از 10 رو به این عطر میدم.

This is surprisingly good. It's a mish mash of Mr. Thompson, Prada L'Homme Intense and Dior Homme Intense. It's got the pepperiness and vanilla of Mr. Thompson, the creamy/powdery of L'Homme Intense and the lipsticky iris of DHI. So not a direct dupe of either, more like a melting pot of all three and I love it for that. It lasts a good 6-7 hours on me, which is more than Mr. Thompson and DHI last on my skin so that's also fantastic. Definitely a cold weather runner, perfect for a night out, you'll turn heads, I'm sure. A neat find.

So happy I found this, smells great. I've come to love Iris fragrances. This is a creamy iris vanilla fragrance. It not powdery or lipstick iris. Nice Warm clean scent. Really good sillage and longevity especially for an iris fragrance. I got this for 40 bucks and bought another one as a backup. The plastic elephant cap is pretty cool and tacky (no pressurized atomizer) regardless its awesome now I want to get the original to see how good it is compared to this

No idea how the original smells, but as a stand alone perfume i love it. Its a really nice blend if you like clean/aromatic scents and i feel like the citrus and iris makes it more unique and a very good daily/signature scent.

I love it. Such a nice vibrant and uplifting scent for cooler weather and evening out. I get tone of iris and then vanilla, cedar, elemi and tonka bean.

Just arrived. First impressions: Linear, soft scent profile. It smells slightly lactonic, like a dairy sweet. Iris is very soft, barely noticable. After an hour thunder does have similarities with Mr. Thompson but not really. It feels very flat and shy. I cannot recommend it as it is right now if you are really looking for Mr Thompson . And don't mistake it for Dior Homme intense. I will update after masturbation

A touch of citrus in the opening. Almost the whole time I get the vanilla and powdery iris from this fragrance after that. It reminds me a lot of Le Male Le Parfum, but a touch more milky. Performance is great from my decant as I get about 8-9 hours on skin and it projects about a foot past my arm. A little goes a long way, no need to overspray. I like the overall scent, but not enough to get a full bottle.

Very weak performance lasts about 3 hours on skin, on clothes I couldn’t even smell it after about 7 hours if you want a perfume for 5 minute meeting go for this (decant review) smells expensive not synthetic at all I think it would be annoying if it was stronger every scent has its own type performance if this had strong performance I wouldn’t have liked it and it’s not always about performance

This is not a one to one dupe of Mr Thompson. It's more of a hybrid of Thompson and Dior Homme. I can smell note of Iris, Lavender, Vanilla and Tonka beans. If you like both DNA, this could be a great pickup for you. If you dislike either one of them, don't get this. Don't be fooled by the bottle design (Even tho it's beautiful)

my bottle says eua de parfum. the word "extrait" is nowhere to be found. is this normal? overly pleasant scent, more versatile than DHI, but also not as great!

Thunder Extrait by French Avenue is one of those fragrances that makes you question your life choices mid spray. Impressive? Sure. I tend to go 15–20 sprays, but with this one it feels illegal. Like there should be a warning label: “Do not overuse unless you want to be banned from indoors.” It’s not bad... but it’s also not good. It exists in that strange limbo where your nose is both confused and slightly disappointed. A vanilla lactonic monster in the truest sense, imagine a vanilla milkshake that was left in a chemical factory break room for a little too long, absorbing everything it shouldn’t have. And yet, somehow, it’s kind of impressive. Loud, room-filling, nuclear projection for the price. You’ll clear a hallway just by existing. The only downside is it kind of peaks early, then slowly fades like it realized it overstayed its welcome 3–4 hours and it’s basically ghosted you. Overall: affordable but smells like dessert science gone wrong, but at least it commits to the bit.

If you're buying this one thinking you're getting a 1:1 dupe, you're fooling yourself. Those YT and TKTK people are there to sell, not review. It does hint to Mr. Thompson, but it's so far away from being the same in terms of scent profile but especially quality. It opens with violets and violet leaf, then it's followed by this toasted sesame seed note, which isn't to everyone's taste, even in the original. This note gets mixed with something milky/creamy, almost like condensed milk, with slight hints of vanilla. These notes can be described as "heavy," but not here. The scent is rather light. The performance isn't great on me, unlike the OG. PS: I only tested it in the shop. I don't know if it gets better after "maceration." 😆

For those wondering how this smells like, it smells just like Lattafa's Asad Zanzibar but better blended. Fans of the iris note will adore this, so if you're into the Dior Homme lineup, this is something you might want to grab, otherwise go for the one with the dragon head.

Nice bottle design, but the scent itself smells cheapish and fades away after just 2 hours. I’ll give it some time to macerate, but honestly, the fragrance isn’t convincing. Not something I’d recommend unless you’re just collecting bottles for the shelf.

It's a mix of le male le parfum in the start with the pepper and later the classic le male with a strong lavender and then fades to dior homme intense with iris. Not a fan for now

Trying this today as a day wear for the first time, air sprayed it when I bought it a month ago and wasnt sure but I had to give it a chance (if only for the elephant)! So several sprays in and after 20 minutes im thinking this is just not for me, theres just nothing nice smelling to my nose. for the money (and bought from a decent no problems site) it hopefully will change into something different but im not a fan initially, had to wear i paid £38 ! Had high hopes with the many reviews and fancy bottle but hey it might just be mine, or might just be my nose, Hate this blind buy game 🤣

Difícil descrever esse perfume porque é bem diferente de tudo que tenho na coleção. As notas mais evidentes que sinto são a fava tonka, a baunilha e a nota de leite. Só depois delas aparece um ar mais aveludado que provavelmente é a Iris. Mas uma iris muito diferente do que conheço (que tradicionalmente vem junto com outras flores ou frutas). Não dá pra usar de dia nem no sol. Pode servir como um perfume pra noite e para o frio. Com certeza ninguém terá o mesmo cheiro que você. Também não é um perfume que agradará todos. Não me arrependo da compra as cegas mas também não é o pior da minha coleção. Com certeza usarei muito poucas vezes. A fixação dele é o ponto chave que não tem como reclamar. É extrema e dura um dia inteiro fácilmente. Quem sabe para layering com outros florais, frutados e cítricos, acho que ficaria otimo

Someone said women can’t rock it?? I even got surprised that people think it’s more on a men’s side at all. I’ve got hot and dry skin. On me it’s a gorgeous iris powdery vanilla scent. Very creamy. The only thing is the dry down may be (just may be) I’d prefer more vanilla. Overall, if you love iris, vanilla and kind of powerful scents, you’re gonna love this as a woman.

Ordered a 5 ml sample. This is a youthful sexy fragrance that is okay for 30 or younger people for clubbing. To my nose it is slightly medicinal dusty iris with tonka. Not worth more than 20 bucks. If I was younger and still roaming nightclubs, I would buy this. I am glad I didn't buy a full bottle, it would have been a blind buy regret.

On first sprays, I immediately smell the resemblance to the Penhaligons OG. I remember trying the original as a free gift from a lucky scent order ~2 years ago and, just from memory, the nutty-toasted notes are different. However, this does capture that aspect from the original. Excited for possible improvement with maturation.

Don’t believe the hype. This is just a vanilla bomb. Nothing like Dior Homme Intense. It’s more like JPG Le Male original with much less lavender. Uninteresting and played out scent. Avoid.

Beautiful opening, instantly wanted to buy it but after a minute it transformed into boring vanilla milk scent

The opening strongly reminds me of Gentleman Cologne, then it becomes similar to DHI.
