Veneno Scarlet

Being away from the fragrance world for years, then, as it happens, - things go pear-shaped, and you ending up with a hundred of blind buys through the post. Yeah, we are like that, not take-aways or new bags, - new bottles to spray everywhere. Whilst most of the Arabic scents highly recommended by Youtubers and Tiktokers left me in total anosmic amusement and disappointment, - some will be keepers. Veneno Scarlet is one of those successful, yet unexpected loves. It arrived amongst others ten, that I was not even able to smell or describe without looking into notes. Then I took this red bottle and the day became less worthless. What I was expecting is to keep "red snakes" in my Antique bureau for display, because surely, like all others, it will be unsignificant mess of atificially smelling fruits, berries, whatever. Yet...I have got candied patchouli with leather in a manner of old juice in Visa 2007 by Piguet and dusted by time strawberry from a damn gothic vampire diaries. Almost apothecary deep opening...Like you enter through that heavy door somewhere in Sicily to get yourself some herbs from the old guy who owns this place for generations, the sun rays jump on the squeeky floor, you see rows and rows of old bottles and potions, you enhale all that goodness, feeling the Atmosphere creeping at you. At the drydown sweet resinous fir is more pronounced and woody. I guess we have found each other. One gem per ten trivial ones, - I can live with that. The question is now, whether is Black Veneno will be for me too

Well colour me shocked I’ve fallen in love with this. I am not a huge fan of leather in fragrances I just don’t tend to get along with them but I decided to try a decant of this and was very pleasantly surprised. This is a compliment magnet and a great performer scent wise. It lasted all day and for the price I don’t think you can go wrong. The leather is done really well and takes a bit of a back seat whereas the fruit and vanilla caramel complement each other really well. This is one I have naughtily upgraded to full bottle status and I have no regrets

This is a dark spicy and smoked cherry perfume. Mostly for night time. At first spray it is heavy on the smokiness/leather but after it sits for a bit more sweetness come through. It is not a sweet one though. It is unisex for sure. Maybe it needs to macerate for a while and then it will be different. I would love if it was a tad more sweet so that it is unmistakeably feminine leaning. Update: it's been a few hours, lasting power is amazing and the dry down is also addicting and the more the time passes the better it gets. Good 😊

This was a blind buy after the social media hype on the berries. Packaging is stunning. The fragrance is like nothing I had smelled before. Fell in love with it immediately. I’ve gotten a lot of compliments wearing it. It’s true it can lean a bit synthetic in the opening but it dries down exquisitely. Longevity is impressive, both on skin and on clothes. If you are a man into gourmands and want an intriguing and perplexing fragrance, you’ll enjoy it and will get a lot of compliments.

Recomendado 8/10 es una compra a ciegas. Totalmente unisex incliinado un poco a lo femenino. No he olido la fragancia original que se inspira sin embargo este Veneno Scarlet se me hace un leve parecido a Marwa de Prestige es como si existiera una versión de ese perfume ultra femenina, no jabonosa ni tan potente. Esta fragancia se siente algo ligeramente herbal, con un twist bastante femenino, frutado de cóctel y un cuero decente. En lo personal me gustó la fragancia sólido 8/10
