Vulcan Feu

I had the pleasure of smelling God of Fire in Harrods recently, and I can confidently say Vulcan Feu is near identical. And when I say near identical, I do not mean “inspired by” in the usual fragrance community sense where people squint hard enough and convince themselves two completely different scents are “basically the same.” I mean the second I smelled God of Fire my brain immediately went, “hang on a minute, I already own this.” I did not get to smell them side by side, but honestly I do not think it would have mattered. If two people walked past me, one wearing Vulcan Feu and one wearing God of Fire, I would have absolutely no clue which was which. Even if I stopped and awkwardly sniffed both strangers like some sort of escaped fragrance bloodhound, I would still probably struggle. The funniest part is even the sales woman in Harrods could not really disagree when I mentioned how close they were. Which is probably difficult when you are trying to justify a fragrance price tag that looks more like a monthly car payment 😂 I genuinely cannot stress enough how insanely similar these fragrances are. Please do not waste your money on God of Fire unless you are absolutely drowning in disposable income and enjoy the thrill of setting £300 on fire for a slightly nicer bottle. Vulcan Feu completely obliterates the value proposition of the original. Same tropical fruity fiery vibe, same overall scent profile, same addictive DNA, just without the part where your bank account enters cardiac arrest afterwards. At this point I genuinely think people should start buying these clones out of principle. Put your money where your mouth is and teach these brands that their pricing is getting completely ridiculous. Maybe if enough people stop paying luxury tax for a logo and a fancy display stand, some of these companies will finally come back down to planet Earth 😂

Vulcan Feu to me doesn't actually start mango forward and opens much heavily with the other top notes with the lemon, ginger, and rhubarb. The mango is sorta there wrapping together some sweetness but you get a much bigger blast of these other fresh sour lemony notes which all three contribute to in their own way. In the mid the mango pops and you lose the lemon and ginger but the rhubarb rounds out the mango in the background and the fruity sweetness starts to begin but is not as strong as you might think. This fragrance honestly does not get nearly as sweet as many other similar fragrances and I believe if you want more sweetness you probably want to try Mango Ice or other clones first. What happens in Vulcan Feu is that the florals, the spices, and the woods start to round out the scent to be much brighter and fresher and that praline note doesn't come through nearly as much as you would expect. Ultimately during the dry down Vulcan Feu does not actually really develop anymore it warms up a bit and maybe you get a bit more sweetness because of that but it stays at that fresh floral mango with the small amount of background spice. This is not really an issue but if you'd hope it would really develop into a warm inviting juicy mango you are not going to get that. This is why I feel the fragrance really gets limited to warmer months but I believe it is still fine as an all day scent however the performance could maybe not be there to really pop at night. To me this is not some monstrous performer but it lends itself to heavier spraying with the freshness and is great for a respray with its refreshing opening.

This is genuinely fantastic juice. While I am a sucker for tropical and fruity fragrances in general, Vulcan Feu is easily one of the best Arabic dupes and bottles in my collection in general. This was the first French Avenue I tried and it convinced me to explore much of their offerings and I have been nothing but impressed for the most part. This is one of those bottles that just blows my mind at how high quality this smells for the price. It has fantastic performance being an extrait too. Easily detectable for 10 hours minimum on skin. Projection and sillage are pretty strong for about 4-5 hours before they start dropping off too. With responsible spraying, this will never be nuclear or TOO strong though. Describing the scent overall feels difficult because I feel as if I can't do it justice. But I would say this is like a refreshing mango smoothie. It is definitely sweet, but the way the other notes play into the mango stop it from being too sweet. The lemon, ginger, rhubarb, and pink pepper give Vulcan Feu a zing and energizing edge that plays into the mango beautifully. It sorta makes the mangos feel green. The base notes also give this a nice rich heart that feels woodsy in a masculine way, making this very safe for guys to wear. Its very strange how something so fruity and delicious works so well for summertime, but it really does. My bottle was pretty good out the box too, but after a few months I feel as if it got a bit better. All in all, this is a 10/10 for me, it smells absolutely luxurious and can be found at great prices.

French Avenue Vulcan Feu is everything I hoped it would be. After trying so many fragrances that promise the world and fail to deliver, Vulcan Feu was a genuine surprise. From the very first spray, you can tell this has been put together with care. Everything feels smooth, refined and incredibly well blended. Nothing sticks out or feels harsh. The transition from the opening to the dry down is seamless, and the fragrance smells far more expensive than its price tag suggests. The biggest compliment came from my wife. As soon as she smelled it, she said it reminded her of Terre d'Hermès. Not because it's a clone, but because it has that same sense of quality, balance and sophistication. That alone says a lot. Terre d'Hermès is one of my all-time favourite fragrances, so hearing that immediately put a smile on my face. What impressed me most is that Vulcan Feu has its own identity. It captures the spirit of God of Fire brilliantly while still feeling polished and wearable. It has a premium feel from start to finish and creates an atmosphere rather than simply smelling good. To me, it evokes a luxury hotel lobby or an upscale resort, and that's exactly the kind of fragrance experience I enjoy. At this price point, I genuinely think it's exceptional value for money. It smells premium, performs well and never feels cheap or synthetic. This is the kind of fragrance that reminds you why Middle Eastern houses are making such a big impact on the market. This is an easy recommendation from me and one I'll happily keep reaching for. Rating: 10/10

This is my first perfume getting into the whole perfume world; a coworker brought it there last week and when i first smelt it i fell in love, my favorite fruit is mango i shall say so its obvious why i loved it, i also thing that the mango with the citrus note that it has go along so well but of course the mango overpowers it a lot. At first i thought that the performance was mid but after a few wears i noticed that the performance its actually good as well as the sillage, i have got a lot of compliments including coworkers and my girl which surprised me because the only disadvantage on the perfume is that i wouldn't considerate masculine at all, i wouldn't considerate feminine at all either but since its not masculine you come up as feminine for using it IMO but its irrelevant because i love the smell i would even love to give it to my girl and smell it on her. Definitely on the stronger side tho and i use it as my everyday now because is the only one that i have, but i wouldn't advise to use it that way because i ́m lowkey getting sick of it and each day i spray less of it to avoid that but you would be better off just using it on like a date or something. Overall 9/10 It would be a 10 for me if it was fresher type shi Would i buy again? Possibly

Loud mango bomb, at first spray. I hated it, I loved the shl god of fire bottle design, I love snakes and I love mango but I didn’t like the price point. I liked the concept of Vulcan feu being a mango scent and like $30. First spray, I got a really bad spicy smell that I didn’t like. I thought it was a miss. It’s currently been slightly over a week and this scent is changing. I don’t know if it’s me becoming familiar with it or if it’s maturating in the bottle, either way. I am enjoying this fragrance a lot. It’s very pleasant, and I am thinking of layering it with sce by afnan. It’s nice, fruity and uplifting. It’s almost like a nice floral ripe mango. I am not getting the citrus or the ginger though, maybe I’m not experienced enough in the world of fragrances but this is a solid 8/10. I’m sure it’s gonna get better because I had liquid brun and hated it at first but one month later, it became a very pleasant and appealing scent. I think that’s the only flaw with middle eastern scents.

EDITED AFTER MACERATION : It smells really good for me. But i did not get the longevity and sillage commends from community. I spray 5-6 times, after 2-3 hours i literally smell little bit mango. Maybe im getting nose blind quickly but it feels like you need to refresh it after 2-3 hours. I have 07/25 batch btw (one of best batch possible). Still good fragrance for a good price. But in my opinion dont expect a room filling projection. Edit : First i let sit 3 weeks after 10 sprays, you can spray sometimes you dont ruin the process. and after i tested mango was delicious and not feminine. Basically when is your bottle filled 1-2 cm air in and meanwhile let sit in the dark, after a month it performs really good. It lasts a day on clothing. Still not like room filling projection or idk maybe im getting nose blind it has 3 hours strong projection. For me macerated vulcan feu has better performance than Supremacy CE and Hawas ice (those are not macerated well yet). I would give 7.5/10.

Mass appealing yet divisive tropical perfume. I got a 2025 batch so I didn't need to let it "masturbate". It opens up really juicy and fresh mango with a slight citrusy undertone. Dries down to a spicier version of the mango which is where it becomes more masculine and quite honestly better. The mango carries out until the end of the perfume's lifespan (which is quite long) but turns into a sweet musky mango ish skinscent that's still projects like crazy. The performance is absolutely beast. 8-12 hours longevity and sillage is room filling. On the other hand, I understand why the opinions are divisive as it is pretty unisex and I would say pretty feminine leaning during it's opening, which is why some would rate it negatively. But, I assure you it's a mass appealing summer scent and everyone would absolutely love it (some maybe on others rather than themselves) Also, turns out this works really well with some aquatic/tropical scents so the layering potential is high with this one.

It offers excellent value for money, delivering a premium feel and strong performance without the price of many luxury fragrances. The only downside is that the scent profile may feel a little familiar if you already own many sweet amber fragrances. Still, Vulcan Feu is an impressive fragrance with great presence and a lot of character. 9/10.

Not everyone will like the smell of mango on themselves, its pretty heavy on that note so maybe not a safe blind buy. Me personally I love it and I've gotten at least 1 compliment whenever I've worn this in a public setting. I would reach for this when I am outdoors because it can be too sweet in a indoor space. The projection is insane, I've had multiple cashiers ask me what I'm wearing even when they are behind a plastic cover and a few feet away. Its not just mango there's a bit of fizziness to it as well like a mango + sprite combination coming from the lemon note. Pick this up for the summer and you wont regret it. The dry down turn into a bit more creamy smell which I think is even better than the initial opening. Such great value and the longevity is great. You can get 7-9 hours out of this. Don't spray it too much, you really don't need it. I'd go max 4 sprays.

Edit: Yeah, as expected I purchased a second bottle. Thought about opulent Dubai, but didn't want to risk it. This stuff is killer in this heat! Super nice fruity fresh fragrance. Had it on my list for a while now. Finally had an excuse to pull the trigger. I bought it as my summer vacation scent for 2026. I can see the hype. This is real good juice. The fruity aspect is quite nice. Its different than other fruity fragrances I have. I do get the sweetness from the rhubarb. I say this because I own rhubarb eclarat from Hermes, and you can detect the slight similarity because of the rhubarb. I do like the way the ginger pops off. You with out a doubt get the ginger in this one. Absolutely gonna put a major dent in this in summer 26!

I thought this was nice at first, primarily got lemon with a bit of mango. After a couple months, I notice the mango a lot more and the scent profile has grown on me. I get 8 hours on skin and it radiates just past the arm depending on how much you spray. I still can detect some of the mango in the later dry down. I cannot tell the difference between this one and gulf orchid's mango ice so either work. While I love the scent now, I still find it has a bit of a limited wear-case as it is more of a casual summertime fragrance. An overall unisex scent profile that leans a touch masculine. I would consider getting another bottle if I run out.

This is one of my most coveted fragrances in my collection because of how unique it is. I’d give it at least an 8-9/10. It’s fresh, natural, and fruity perfect for a hot summer/spring day. The batches I’ve received haven’t had the problem of an over lemony smell other people in the reviews seem to have. Instead, it’s a beautiful mango, ginger opening that over 1-2 hours dries down to a sweet, creamy, mango/apple, woody, masculine scent. I would highly recommend if you like fruity sweet fragrances that still have masculine tones. Longevity is also amazing lasting all day usually, though a respray later in the night may be needed.

Was looking forward to this and just got it today sadly it is clear this needs to be left to macerate for a few months. I also have Opulent Dubai which is a lot better Not saying this is bad or anything it just needs to sit for a while to get better will update in a few months. EDIT: I take what I said above back this is a lot better now it's had time to dry down when I first sprayed it on I could smell buger all. I still think in a moth or so it will be better but it not as bad as I first thought.The mango is the star here I will at some point get God of fire and see how close the clone are.

Omg... people are just so snooty when it comes to fragrances.... This is an excellent mango scent, slightly sweet in the dry down with a creamy wood finish, mango last through throughout the cycle of the scent, which I really enjoy.... To me, for the price this is excellent and well made, too many people on here make up nonsense about this fragrance that isn’t true... I would even suggest that this is a strong blind buy if you like sweet fruity fragrances, especially for the hot summer coming up... mass appealing, great projection and longevity, should ensue many compliments...

Just a heads-up for anyone riding the fragrance hype — it’s real, no doubt. But a word of advice: let this scent macerate for at least a month before judging it. If you rush it, you’ll likely be met with a flat, generic scent and underwhelming performance. That said, once it’s matured, it’s a beast. Think God of Fire vibes I tested it in Rome in over 35°C heat, and it held strong for 7 to 8 hours, Little pro tip from me: buy your summer fragrances in winter and winter ones in summer — it’s a surprisingly effective money-saving move

Whoah momma this is good!! Ive had this for almost 12 months now, i'll admit i liked it at the start, the ginger was a bit bitter for me and kinda gave me a headache, i didnt wear it much last summer as a result, its now May sun is starting to shine a lil bit picked this back up again and its blown me away, the bitter ginger has subsided and let the fruits shine through, my god now this is amazing, the fizzy ginger now uplifts the fruit, the ginger now being a secondary player....its amazing Gonna be rocking this all summer 2026

I saw a video like "get this instead dont get vulcan feu it has oud" still i bought vulcan feu and i dont smell oud at all, i also thought people said it smelled like mango slushie as a marketing word but it literally smells line mango slushie with a little bit of passion fruit, still mostly mango. Last long and projects really good, would repurchase if my bottle was empty 9/10. i sniffed it too hard out the bottle and gave me a nose headache idk what its called lol, on skin it doesnt happen. Just buy it 100% worth it

This stuff is REALLY good. I haven't smelt the original God of Fire, so I can only judge this as it's own stand alone thing. It's a sweet but not too sweet tropical refreshing mango. That's all you need to know. I don't honestly get that much of citrus or ginger, so I would say that it is something more youthful. Very mass appealing but some people might identify it as feminine. Which I don't understand how mango could come off as something feminine. 9.5/10

Literally straight summer in a bottle. Very enjoyable, literally a cologne that just makes you smile when you smell it. I bought this from Burlington at a fairly cheap price and I could smell it as I opened the box, I knew I was gonna love it. Last very long too and projects strongly. I don’t get noseblind from this unless the projection dies down of course, anyone who hates this is definitely coping, I don’t see how anyone could dislike this.

It's very unique and appealing. I don't usually see people around smelling like mango, so it definitely stands out in summer when everybody smells like sea or leaves. I gave it to my friends and family to sample. I loved it, my friends loved it, my parents loved it. I definitely recommend it. I expected it to smell somewhat synthetic, but it didn't. It's gonna last long, people are gonna notice it, and smelling fruity is always nice.

Bright, juicy mango up front, with ginger and a musky dry down that most people love in the heat. Popular fragrance right now for good reason, on paper it's a great warm-weather scent. On my skin it came across weak, wore it a couple times and just wasn't impressed... seemed to fade fast without much development. Might be a batch thing since plenty of people rave about the performance. Personal subjective score: 6/10

No bias or anything this is hands down one of the best fragrances it smells like a fizzy mango in the best way possible.it lasts a solid time can still smell on clothes after days and the projection is insane first 3 maybe 4 hours I was in a gcse exam hall and my friend could smell me from like 10 rows back it’s insane would 100% reccomend I can’t compare to god of fire but it’s really good anyways

For the 40$ this is some incredible perfume both in smell and technical characteristics. Yes, you definitely won’t like it if you don’t like juicy fruity smells. But if you like the sillage of fruit, citrus and flower base then it's your choice. For 40(!) bucks it is mogging in terms of sillage, loudness and quality. Solid 9/10 and one of the best fragrances for its money (40 FREAKING DOLLARS) OAT

This one was one that I went into absolutely blind and I do not regret it. This one starts out really sparkly and fizzy, and the ginger pops out before the mango does. As it dries down, it becomes this deep-beautiful fruity bomb that can stick to clothes and leaves a mean trail. I'll still be looking for other mango scents; but for now for the summer this will be my major go to!

I thought nobody dislikes this fragrance but apparently some people get a headache because it's "too strong". It does project strong, I agree, but it's very soft and so fresh and kinda sweet (not as sweet as ripe mango though) at the same time. I feel like it's a bit too soft and kinda feminine leaning but I really enjoy it especially considering its performance which is great.

This stuff is genuinely amazing, I love the mango scent in this because mango is my favorite fruit, It’s definitely a summer fragrance i wouldn’t really wear this in winter. It’s a great dupe of god of fire glad it took out the oud note and bigger bottle, I would like to compare this to opulent dubai but i do love this fragrance it’s definitely top 3 in my collection.

Not going to lie, my first sniff to this fragrance I didn't like, something was off. (I blind bought) But as the time went by, I don't know if it really got better or if I learned to like it. It does have great longevity and silage. I even use it to go to work another day and I got compliments. My collection is getting big, but I would easily put this on my top 10.

As a broke 17 year old guy these Arabian fragrances have been life changing. I do have som designer but realistically I can’t really buy them often. This fragrance is just what I need and even if it’s as expensive as it is it doesn’t loose any performance or smell. All around great fragrance and if your one a budget I really don’t think there’s a better one.

Someone a few comments down said the oud is all he could smell. There is 0 oud in this and i have no idea how one could think there is. Either way it is pretty close to malachite but there are differences. I think it may be just a touch stronger than malachite too. Longevity and sillage are both way above average. Great performance for a freshie. 9.5/10.

You can smell the mango all day , at first 1-4h it fill the room but from 4-8 you can still smell it from far but nut fill a room. is even better if it a little windy outside . Is sweet but not to sweet is fresh and is safe to blind buy if you like mango smell or tropical smells in general 9/10 (don’t work for winter)

It's no secret that French Avenue's Vulcan Feu is great mass appealing fragrance. On skin it reads as a lightly effervescent mango uplifted by notes of ginger. The wearing experience for me was linear with not much development overall. At the end of the day, it's a feel good scent that does great in the high heat.

Call me crazy but I don’t smell the mangoes at all past the 5 minutes mark. The drydown is the saving grace for this fragrance for me, super tropical in the best way possible. I find this easy to wear, some people call it feminine? I don’t really see it, it’s unisex at best. Update: I found my new signature scent.

This fragrance feels like a very nice mango and lemon sorbet, very juicy refreshing mango followed by a very consistent citrus edge. The dry-down brings out the pink pepper and mossy side of the fragrance. When further dried it really competes with the og God of Fire, and is honestly better for the lower cost.

I LOVE THIS SO MUCH , i adore this fragrance crazily im obsessed with it , compliment magnet , this smells like a mango soda so its definitely uplifting , . SCENT : 10/10 PROJECTION : 8/10 LONGEVITY : around 8 hours , 2 hours of almost strong projection , definitely getting another bottle when i finish this

One of my favorite perfumes :) it's the first one I ever owned, and I developed sort of a sensitive nose so I ended up giving away most of my perfumes, but this one stayed. Pure mango, but not overwhelmingly sweet. I love it. And the presentation is beautiful!

Bought after receiving a decant of GOF. After a month or so they were impossible to tell apart. GOF is slightly darker and maybe more well blended. It’s a compliment magnet and perfect for spring summer. Love it so much and I have an unopened box on deck.

it is sweet but still suitable for scorching heat. What I like less about it is that it is very bold. It smells like you poured fruit juice on yourself. not necessarily bad, but lacks a DNA of its own made by blending different accords

God of Fire who? Rhubarb mango with some spicy ginger with a sweet creamy floral heart and musky amber woods dry down. Absolute banger on hot days, but you have to like iced mango because it is the main presence for a long, long time.

Personally. I love this scent. Great mango and fruity scent profile. Had my sister smell it, she said I smelled like sh!t. So I don't know if I am tripping or she just doesn't know what smells good or not. Overall prolly like a 7/10.

Delicious, sexy, classy, long lasting, joy giver 😁 I could go on and own. If you don't own the original God of Fire, this is a very affordable clone. If you are into mango, juicy scents then go for this....you won't regret it

Scent works well mostly for teenagers, anyone over 25 will not have a good scent profile with this fragrance. another flaw is that its very sticky when sprayed on skin, But overall it smells astonishing sexy and amazing.

Sweet delicious fruity mango with a nice creamy wood and amber dry down. Perfect for chilling by the water in the summer. Only drawbacks are a slightly synthetic opening and it lasts ~6 hours. Subjective score: 9.0/10

The initial spray gives off too much of a strong ginger and citrus barely any mango which smells synthetic but as it dries the sharp notes also disappear into a sweet semi synthetic mango and abit floral too

It is often told about this fragrance thst it has chemical scent of mango, but as for me it’s just good cologne with simple , fresh sweet mango and a little bit sour lemon , highly recommended.

This one is sexy, fresh, summer in a bottle. On my skin it last easily 8 hours or more. I’ve been using it this summer at the office, church, inside, outside , nite or day, doesn’t matter 😅
