When I first got this I was not impressed. It was just not that good. It felt redundant, and like a let down. I mean it still basically smelled how it's supposed to smell, but it was less balanced, and more dusty or something. Fast forward a few months and I'm considering putting it in my trade in pile, and I sprayed it on my hand and fell in love with it. This is incredible now. I can't believe what a few months sitting can do to a fragrance. This is probably the most masculine sweet vanilla forward fragrance I can think of. I mean there are more masculine fragrances with vanilla, but they aren't as sweet(Bogart and Naxos DNA come to mind). This is woody, spicy, boozy, a little powdery, and amber warm with a sweet vanilla the whole time. I will buy this again. I see some of the younger reviewers who usually love sweet stuff not digging this one. Maybe they need to let it mature, or maybe they need to mature some I don't know. This bottle how it is now is pretty dang mass appealing and sexy.

Isso aqui deveria ser considerado um perfume de nicho de tão bom, de tanta qualidade, isso aqui é insano cara, pra mim o lcub de nuit é o melhor perfume arabe mais pro dia e esse aqui é o melhor arabe para a noite. Isso aqui é um liquid brun de macho, liquid brun é pra garotinhos perto desse perfume. Para mim ele abre com nota de Whiskey e casaca de lanranja (o cheiro do whiskey é bem forte parece q vc derramou whiskey) mas passando ali uns minutinhos ja começa a vir a nota de cacau (eu nao sei pq essa nota nao esta na piramide oufativa) e pra mim o perfume fica nisso de um cacau alcooclico, para mim tem cheiro de licor de chocolate, ainda preciso testar mais a fixação e projeção mas nao parece q projeta muito longe igual o club de nuit q exala demais td mundo sente... E eu não tenho o perfume do qual ele foi inspirado então nao sei dizer quanto a sua similaridade, mas eu amei demais, de perfumes noturnos esse aqui é o melhor da minha coleção inteira.

I've had this for about half a year now, and I've had a strange relationship with it. At first I thought it was great, then I started disliking it slightly, but now it's grown on me and I love it again. The scent is very warm, and definitely very boozy, they're not joking with that whiskey note, to the point that it can be a little overwhelming if you use too many sprays. As it dries down and ages I've experienced that it becomes chocolaty. It also lasts a long time. I bought this blindly, which, although I do love the scent, do not recommend, as it can be quite overwhelming, like I said. Also, considering how a lot of people say they get a piss smell (I personally don't), try it out on your skin first if you're able to before buying. One of my friends also said he thought it smelled amazing when he randomly took a sniff of the bottle that I forgot to put away that day, so take that how you will.

Vulcan Sable is a triumph 🖤 I’m enamoured with this DNA! I’ve had no trouble with the opening, it was smooth from the start and while the performance was a touch shy for the first fortnight, after six weeks of patience I’m now getting a dependable six hours on skin and a full+ day’s wear on clothes. I think it will only improve. I find it quite brilliant for spring and summer; the orange and anise (popping out in the drydown) are sweet yet remarkably crisp on my skin. Therefore, it’s a more versatile companion than its darker sibling, Spectre Wraith, which I save for the chilly months. That one is an absolute love too, yet way heavier on me. Vulcan Sable is an incredibly eloquent, comforting scent. It's my olfactory equivalent of being tucked away in a comfortable chair by a fire, with a good book and a glass of some good aged whiskey. 🖤

Just recently blind bought it due to its price and omg this perfume does not deserve its rating. This smells absolute amazing I like how the boozy, orange and orange chocolate at its end, they dance too well in my nose. To be fair this is a acquired scent since I feel there is something overwhelming in it. This is a 10/10. I own other killian ME inspired scent and this reminds me of toned down wraith spectre and the chocolaty ending of Royal Blend Bourbon. One of my best blind buy, I immediately added this into my ME rotation for this month (Island Dreams, Mandarin Sky, Honor and Glory, Ghost Spectre, and this).

This perfume has a very unique dry-down. It smells like a soft, powdery baby-like scent combined precisely with an oriental incense note—the kind of incense burned at funerals. I can also understand why some Westerners describe it as having a urine-like smell. It feels somewhat like animal urine but without the sharp, piercing edge. However, I personally find it extremely unique. I keep going back to smell it because it’s very intriguing and mysterious. I think it’s a fragrance that suits expressing individuality. It has a dual character, but the pleasant side is slightly stronger, which makes it appealing.

I smell the whiskey right away, then it turns to a spicy vanilla such a beauty! I can not say longevity yet because I just received it. It’s such an understated fragrance and can be worn by anyone very unisex. This is a cozy sweater fragrance and I will be wearing it this throughout the winter. As for the bottle it’s a heavy brown bottle with a snake wrapped around the collar. The brown color reminds me of the coziness of the scent. Highly recommended for the price especially these days with everything going up in price. You will love it!

It's my first review so here I go: This fragrance is just perfect for me, boozy, smoky, leathery, spicy, woody. It starts strong, kicks nostrils (which I love) after some time it smoothes out. Note i can smell the most is definitely whiskey, next is vanilla followed by citruses (mostly orange), Tonka beans, cashmere. Really masculine, mostly for nighttime but no one stops you from wearing it in the middle of the day. Strong performer, stays on my skin really good. I recommend it but maybe not for a blind buy.

I was intrigued by the first spray, did not enjoy the next 15 minutes when I got out in the frost outside, but when after another 10 minutes I got back inside I couldn’t have enough of this smell. Next 6 hours it was something very bold dark chocolaty, woody very warm. Perfect for winter! My roll neck still carries these notes after 24h. Only 30 EUR so it’s a bargain.

please spray this on and give it 10 min. i gave this a 2 just based off the opening but after driving and having the ac blow this magic into my nose, instantly gave it a 10. this smells like 80% milk chocolate, 10% dark bitter chocolate and 10% strawberry but man this is special occasion for sure because it is still dark but not bold dark

This is a somewhat dry, sweet boozy scent with oranges at the top. and the tonka in here with the other notes give the chocolaty vibe Its a great scent for the winter and this takes the middle ground between the joyful playful sweet unisex fragrances and the dark oriental, smoky heavy "old people" fragrances. Performance is great

I think this is a 10 out of 10. I can't say how accurate it is to the Sand dance because I have never smelt that, The best way to describe this is if you took Althair and made it a little more Dark 🌑, added Spice 🌶️ and liquor 🥃, while keeping the creamy orange smell of althair. It projects, lasts long, and has a lovely dry down

Smells like if you took Commodity Milk+, added some of the "weird burnt caramel" notes from Mercedes Man Private (but not too much, those notes become too much in the Mercedes fragrance), and added the teeniest, tiniest little hint of Ebony Fume. That combo sounds weird, and it is, but it's also kind of a banger.

Know this is a dupe of Sand Dance but if someone said to me that this is a CC - Blonde Amber dupe I wouldn’t argue. Yes it’s not 1:1 but it definitely similar. Just a more gourmand version imo Very surprised by this for sure. After maceration it becomes very smooth and well blended 🙌🏻. 8.91/10

Can't understand the negative review below. This is a 10/10 for me amazing scent. Better than Vulcan Feu. Sweet, woody, dark, boozy and warm. Very vanilla heavy, slight chocolate/cacao nuances, some darkness and depth, powdery..amber.. patchouli, I also get leather and sandalwood . Superb!

Smells like a sweet single malt whiskey. I also get a similar cashmere accord like in Amber Empire. I actually prefer this over Amber Empire because it’s smoother, even though they don’t really share the same DNA. oh and in the drydown it's really powdery.

I postponed buying this because of negative comments. What a mistake. This is a 10/10. Great profile and quality. I reckon kids who are mostly into fruity and common designer fragrances are rating this down. This is a niche dupe and a damn good one.

Wow this cologne is sexy! So smooth creamy, lol wife could not stop coming up to me and just enjoying the scent!! Compliment getter for sure. Believe this is better than Vulcan Feu which I love. Definitely a beast mode fragrance!!

It's deep and rich and extremely masculine. Although it's not a listed note, I get a slight hint of chocolate or cacao along with that boozy element. Would recommend for winter and autumn/fall and is amazing value for money.

Uh oh - I adore this and Vulcan Feu. It’s telling me that I may actually have to try some Stephane Humbert Lucas perfumes... this house might be my new Parfums de Marly (aka I pretty much love everything they do)... 😬🤣

I am an alcohol note junkie and I needed to have this one when I saw that whiskey/tonka/vanilla combo. This is my favourite from the line! Let everyone else go for the hype Vulcan Feu, this is the one you should get!

Impressive, very impressive... For a cheap price you can get a boozy, whisky smelling frag with a nice sweetness of nutty vanilla. I don't get orange or mandarin but nevertheless I am happy with this purchase.

Also don't believe all the bad reviews here!! Try it for yourself get a sample. When many women are coming up to you and giving compliments or asking what you are wearing that cologne is performing!!

I always thought Vulcan Feu was the star of the show. Am very surprised, Sable is just as good or even better! I blind bought both and they’re really worth the money. No regrets.

A steal for $24. Smells high quality straight out of the bottle. Bentley for Men Intense made more interesting and more wearable with added gourmand notes.

Thats my shit right here. Rum with dried fruits on the opening with a sweet, Patchouli drydown. Smell 8/10 Sillage 7/10 Longevity 7/10

Another banger from the Vulcan line. For some reason this one this one is not hyped up at all. All the hype goes to Feu which is the worst one. Sable is sickly sweet but after maceration the sweetness turns down to a very comforting sweet honeylike smell. So this one is definitely more masculine. But I can see myself wearing that as well. It's a sexy, alluring, beautiful smell. Firstly I pick up some citruses, sweeter than lemon or bergamot so the orange is detectable. Also some spices which I don't recognize but they're warm. And there's this boozing (same kind as in Gentleman Reserve Privée) from whiskey which makes it sexy. The background is stunning. I smell mostly vanilla even though it might be benzoin or styrax. But I wish there were more perfumes with such a nice vanillic note. And all of this is wrapped in a blanket of cashmeran, the perfect blend. Patchuli to me is unrecognizable. The most similar perfumes I have smelled are previously mentioned Gentleman but without the powdery iris. Then Spectre Wraith but younger because Spectre has this oldish library nuance and is sweeter from the chocolate note. The only thing I lack in this scent is balance of the sweetness. It's still very likable and comforting. Longevity and sillage always on point. 8.1/10

Had it for 2 or 3 weeks after one of the YouTube guru's said it was an amazing fragrance......? Luckily, I picked it up for £32 online, but it seems to be going up and up in price, every few days online and it's a very good blind buy if you can get it for around that price. My review is very simple.......it's OK, it's a nice and it's worth giving it a go, if your looking for something warm and ambery with a nice patchouli bump. I'm going to say it's more of a cold autumn day fragrance than the coming summer but it's got some character and it's worth buying because it will work in all most every situation......work, date night, sotd. Silage is average for the first hour or two, and it didn't last long on my skin.....but no fragrances do!!!! I wasn't sure if I went nose blind or it just faded away, but the first few wears, it got lost quite quickly. Did remain on a t-shirt I was wearing, and the next day when I picked it up, I could really smell it, especially the chocolaty patchouli.....I don't think Stéphane Humbert Lucas has got anything to worry about with this one FRAGRANCE: 7/10 SILAGE: 5/10 LONGEVITY: 6/10

Just got it and sprayed a few sprays on. Wasn’t clean (6+ hours since showering) and did have residue of something else on. But I smell like cat piss right now. I’m hoping it matures better but currently smell rank. Will try again clean but am concerned and about to get a shower as the smell is unbearable. Update: gave this a proper test when fully clean after showing. Used a neutral shower gel. I like the opening but the middle is where my problems start I think the whisky transitioning into the cashmere and styrex is the problem for me about 30mins in I then have an hour where I smell like urine. Very awkward yesterday as I bumped into someone I know who insisted on giving me a hug during this phase. After about an hour of this it transitions and becomes somewhat pleasant. This may be a skin chemistry issue for me but I do think combined the cashmere is makes a very unpleasant dry down followed by a pleasant animalic later stage

Smooth smoky, patchouli whiskey with something citrucy-fruity hidden in the background. Leaning male at first, but does become unisex after an hour or so. Don't over-spray - not because this is beast-mode, but because the notes won't spread out properly. So, it's better to have this being a bit weak than over-spraying and having it be a loud, weird perfume. I think this would be really good on a man. It is NOT a dupe, but reminds me a little about Cartier Le Baiser Du Dragon. They share that same whisky, woody, smokey, slightly vetiver-like base. They both remind me of an expensive lagged house in the woods. Vulcan is like a cheapie version of Baiser Du Dragon, with quite less complexity.

I understand if this is considered a masculine scent, this is very boozy, but also amber sweet, the boozyness here is not sharp but extremely sweet, whit that anise this almost gives me the impression of a thick liquorice liquor. The citrus elements brilliantly save this from that licorice impression.The dry down to my nose is a bit sweet vanilla tonka, with chocolate patchouli, and tons of sandalwood( ! ). The whiskey and spices linger throughout the life of this fragrance, but to my nose this mainly is a very comforting creamy sandalwood scent.

Sand dance hiç koklamadım ama benzerlik yüksek deniliyor. Açılışındaki viski çok keskin olmuş ve baya bir sentetik. Başta çok ön yargılıydım ama dry down kısmında parfümün arkadan gelen boozy notaya eşlik eden çikolatası çok hoş. Genel olarak evet tatlı bir koku ama bu tatlılık alışılmışın dışında. Öyle şekerli bol vanilyalı bir koku beklemeyin çok daha olgun bir profile sahip. Koku güzelliği 7,5/10. Yayılım gayet yeterli kalıcılık ise 10 saati görüyor.

After extensively testing all of the Vulcan series scents, I must say this is the best one. The sweet, boozy, spicy, woody vanilla combo just works and will suit both mature and young audiences. Although whiskey note can be challenging to a younger crowd. The rule of thumb here is that if you're young enough to go to Epstein Island, then this fragrance is not for you.

To me, this smells like a sandalwood-vanilla scent. Sandalwood is a cold scent, vanilla is warm, and they kinda don't really go together, with the anise creating this... indolic smell. Indoles can smell fecal or urine-like, and to me, it's a very hard note to get right. If you like the indolicness of Shalimar, you may like this one.

This fragrance is bad but good. It smells like chocolate booziness but there are some notes in the background that kind of throw it off, I don’t get the piss smell everyone is talking about but it does kind of smell like a dirty old house. If you want a fragrance like this just get givenchy gentlemen Edp

This smells like a mixed assortment of a fresh Pakistani dessert (Mithai) box without the icky oily undertones the shops usually have clinging to them. Its very yum and gourmand in a subtle and sweet way. Not loud or boisterous like Liquid Brun for example. A safe buy for date nights in my opinion.

Chocolate, reminds me of French Avenue Wraith and Kilian Black Phantom. Statement lane, cold weather, dark character. 4 stars, long lasting with heavy projection. Skip Spectre Wraith smells like the improved version - I enjoy ot very much and woulbuy it again - I paid $30

Smoky, leathery, woody gourmand for men (women can wear it too) are my first thoughts. It's a dark, but also a soft perfume - it's very smooth. The patchouli makes it gourmand. I can't smell any fruity notes in here - this is a brown-and-grey fragrance all the way.

Smells like a dry chocolate liqueur. Like most ME clones let it mature a while, as it does improve. I like it. It does lean into the gourmand side.
