Western Shisha

This is really a well orchestrated blend. At first you get that pop of sweet, described as synthetic to some; to my nose it’s fruty with a sparkle to it - perhaps a bit of apple shisha, but I’d say it’s laced with a bubblegum adjacent property. After about 10-15 mins the fragrance settles into the skin. This is where it truly shines - with a green sugar cane or rum note that escorts you to a lovely soft vanilla finish. What I love most is the Vanilla sweetness is tempered well by the patchouli base. It’s DNA is reminiscent of Smoking Hot, but not as dusty/smoky. Frankly, not for everyone as it’s likely depending on your palate - but for me, it’s a winner. Likely going to be a fall signature for me.

Nose Note #901 To put it shortly - a more accessible take on the Smoking Hot DNA i.e. Mashrabya. Some people will like one some the other. Mashrabya is more niche and smoking, this one is sweeter and the grape note is central to the composition. Mashrabya is definately about an apple shisha accord. So this is another major difference - apple vs. grape. Besides that - about the same strong longevity, similarly unisex maybe slightly masculine leaning, but Mashrabya has been very popular with women, so I wouldn't trust neither of those gender votes. I used to be almost revolted by this DNA. Now I am more than appreciative of it, I quite like it. Still I can't wear this often. I'm not a tobacco person. As of March this has 3.53 rating which is unfair. This is an honourable competitor to Mashrabya. As I said, they are quite different and appeal to difference audiences. Try before you buy. I would call this DNA very challenging for beginners. 8/10, or even higher. This is super solid. I love the longevity on all three - this Cosmis and Hypnotic

On my clothes it is beautifully fruity (not very sweet) and tobacco. Truly beautiful!!!. On my skin it is totally different. The tobacco, smokyness comes thru strong with some unerlaying fruityness. I can wear it two different ways but for warmer seasons the on-the-clothes version is definately better and draws in my attention. On skin more for the cooler days. I never smelled any bubblegum or grapes. After 24hrs is smells seductively beautiful on my clothes. Prefer the perfume on my clothes rather than on my skin.

This > dream of haze > veneno. The humidity vibe in this fragrance blends in with the humidity in island air.

i quite liked it when i first smelt it but sadly the more i smell it and the longer i wear it the more it reminds me of a cheap synthetic vape smell from the synthetic sweetness together with the nicotine/tobacco smell. The first minute is quite pleasant but the drydown makes me want to scrub it off.

Mashrabya would be a very good one without the ashtray-like smoke that won't disappear even after 6 months of maceration and hurts my nose bad - really harsh. If this one is similar but lighter on the choking smoke then it's a banger but i'd love to read real reviews. In my country it's not that cheap, exactly double the price of Mashrabya (which i have) and half the price of any random really good designer scent, so i won't blind buy it. Also unfortunately it's only avaible in online perfumeries and can't find it in any fragrance shops.

It's WESTERN Shisha, meaning less middle eastern style. So that seems to be why they have made it a bit sweeter! I really am interested in testing this with my hubby, hopefully it's good 🤞🏻

Could this be a Summer version of smoking hot/ Mashrabiya/ Veneno? Like an all year appropriate version that is not warmed up by cinnamon. Very intriguing.
