Thank you, review is over. This is pretty much all you need to know. Either you love the specific DNA or you don't and many love it based on its popularity... but not the price. Zenith Blue solves that problem, offering incredible value for your money compared to the original. For those who just came out from the rock they were living under, this is a modern take on the aromatic fougere that drops the dated oakmoss for lavender and takes it from there, blending citrus, spicy, floral, and amber aromas which are all powered by a major Ambroxan boost. This thing is not shy about its use of that particular ingredient. Standout notes of lavender, black pepper, bergamot, vetiver and patchouli musk instantly let you know you're unmistakably in Sauvage territory. Which is more than the current Dior Sauvage EDT can lay claim to. Many fans have complained of it being reformulated and watered down over the last decade which opened the door for clones to come rushing in, offering better quality at a better price. Zenith Blue absolutely takes the crown from all of them. Performance is extremely good, certainly better than the original. Projection is a little low, but I would argue the same of the original so it's not as if something were lacking. This is a mass appealing winner, fresh and uplifting. It's good for male users of all ages and is quite masculine. Female users are likely to find it too masculine for their liking. This works in any season and for any occasion. This really comes down to how much you enjoy the original. If you like it, get this. It's way better for much less money. The DNA has been played out and there are a ton of clones as well as the original line itself out on the market Zenith Blue has to contend with, but you absolutely cannot go wrong with this. Highly recommended.

CONTEXT: 65yo professional gentleman with the mature, old-school tastes one would expect from a man my age. I've been collecting fragrances for six months now and have about 100 fragrances. I've learned A LOT in the last several months and had, until recently, been mostly blind-buying based on recommendations from YT fragrance "influencers." LESSONS LEARNED: (1) Most fragrance influencers are prostitutes. (2) Blind buying, ESPECIALLY before you understand your own likes and dislikes and can effectively use a note pyramid to guide your sampling decisions, will result in poor choices and wasting money on fragrances you dislike. (3) It's wise to sample fragrances at retailers before purchasing them from a reputable online discounter such as Jomashop. (4) The lesson I'm now TRYING to learn is: How to sell and trade the frags that I don't like to others who will. Now that you have a reference from which to judge my humble opinion, onto the review... OPENING: I'm presently wearing Zenith Blue EDP (ZB) on my left wrist and Dior Sauvage Parfum (DS) on my right. My bottle of ZB is several months old now and has had a chance to mature. The opening of both are really delightful. ZB is more peppery sharp and bolder while the DS is sweeter, more floral and buttery smooth. DRYDOWN: After 30 minutes the ZB was still a bit bolder while the DS was quieter. After an hour I could hardly tell them apart. It's been six hours now and they are both fading into a skin scent. VERSATILITY: I would wear both of these all year long. The ZB leans a little more daytime while the DS leans more evening. PERFORMANCE: For those of you who care about artificially attracting attention, which I do not, the ZB has more initial projection. The DS has a little more longevity. For my conservative, inoffensive vibe, I'd stick to one or two sprays of either, on the chest, under the shirt. BOTTOM-LINE: Zenith Blue by French Avenue is an excellent, lower cost inspiration of Dior Sauvage. Great clone by French Avenue. They've nailed the Sauvage DNA well.* I've been testing this against the Sauvage EDT and EDP for the past two weeks; and it's between the EDT and EDP. The opening is close to the EDT, but is less sweet and a bit more tart. The bergamot notes are different. In the drydown, about 90% close — Zenith Blue is less airy and mineralic than Sauvage EDT, and is a bit warmer. Sauvage EDT has more of this dry-woody, sun-bleached, driftwood-like scent; whereas Zenith Blue leans slightly more aromatic-warm. It projects weaker than the OG EDT and EDP, yet projects enough.* It's a great transitional variant between the two. The downside is the projection: while it stays on skin for 4-5 hours, the projection drops sharply within the first 2 hours to about 1 inch off the skin. On clothes, it stays for over 12 hours which was pleasantly surprising. Basically, take Sauvage EDT and make it warmer by like 15%. That's Zenith Blue — slightly spicier pepper and lavender, saltier, and muskier. Likely with less/different quality ambroxan as well.* One annoying con is that the silver band below the atomizer keeps getting hit by the spray cone. The body design needs improving. Raise the atomizer or taper the angle. I have to wipe it off every time so it doesn't get sticky. Finally, the atomizer is pathetic — seriously the worst atomizer in my collection. ✅Excellent

Zenith Blue opens with bright citrus that hits fast and clean. The familiar Sauvage DNA sits underneath the sparkle, almost hidden at first, then gradually pushes through as it settles. The transition is smooth and controlled. It feels like a refined take on Sauvage EDT rather than a loud clone, and it’s easily one of the best interpretations on the market. If you’ve wanted a fresher, more spring–summer-leaning version of Sauvage, this fits perfectly. It keeps the aromatic bite and the recognizable profile, but the citrus lift makes it easier to wear in heat. It works year-round too, unlike Sauvage Elixir, which stays locked in as a winter scent. Performance is solid. Longevity and sillage are strong enough to satisfy most people, just don’t expect Elixir-level projection or staying power. The bottle and presentation feel premium and match the overall quality of the scent. Clean, bright, versatile, and one of the better Sauvage-inspired releases you can buy. 9/10.

didn’t like it when i first got it, but got better and i feel like it’s an easy reach, i’ve got it for a week so i feel like it will improve even more, longevity is surprising actually lasts wat longer than i thought it would, doesn’t project like crazy tho which is unfortunate, and from the real thing, i feel like there’s something missing but can’t pinpoint it, 8/10 as of now will come update if it changes. edit: HOLY SMOKES this mf just became magical, idk what it is but it just puts a smile on my face, dad walked in the house and said the whole house smelled like it while laughing a little as it always smells like perfume, but he wasn’t complaining like he usually does... he was laughing and said this one was good smelling (he almost always says he doesn’t like the perfumes i spray) luckily this one is different, congrats fragrance world👏 now all we need is the best Blue De Chanel EDP clone or parfum version please🙏 we need you... make the best BDC clone!!!

Just got this yesterday In the mail. Blind buy again, but what a nice hit. Really like this one. Opens with fresh bergamot and pepper more in the background and also some smooth lavender. After a while when it has settled a bit, it's even more nice. Can't really explain but just feels fresh, smooth little warm. One of my best buys within more than 20 bottles both designer and most clones. Performance is very good too, I sprayed this yesterday on my body only, put on a t shirt and today the day after I still smell it very clear on my tshirt. Also yesterday I took it on at night, went to bed, woke up around at least 8h later and could still smell it on my arms. Very very nice French avenue, keep it up.

As someone who recently finished a bottle of Dior Sauvage Parfum, I can say this definitely feels fresher, with more citrus and a stronger black pepper kick. It really reminds me of the original Sauvage EDT from 2015, which was louder, fresher, and a bit more aggressive. That's actually what makes it so enjoyable. Even though this dupe is an EDP, it captures that original EDT vibe surprisingly well. So whenever I'm in the mood for Sauvage, this is an excellent choice with its own slight twist compared to the newer Dior versions. Honestly, it's a fantastic fragrance. I highly recommend it. 10/10.

Nose Note #989 Exactly what you expect from Sauvage dupe. I don't have the OG to compare, but from memory this is perhaps a little less "cold" in nature and has less pepper, but overall this is the best dupe of Sauvage that I have or had. The other are: - Andalusi Blue (cheapest, weakest, but overall good) - Urban Elixir (my least favourite interpretation) - Ventana (great one, but an average performer) Zenith Blue is the best performing and overall better made. Just perfect if you are looking for a substitution. 8.5/10, the DNA is a little stale, but I love to come back to it from time to time

Beautiful sausage EDT interpretation. Does what it says on the tin. Only have it 3 days and already gotten multiple compliments from colleagues and family. This will be staying in rotation. Longevity is ok but still macerating. Smells similar to kaaf/A&F after it settles down - but much higher quality than kaaf

i got this yesterday, and immediately full worn it...man! an unsolicited compliment at office right away. this is my signature scent now moving forward and paired with Enigma Une for cooler weather and special occassions. French Avenue and Fragrance World always delivers, and value for money 🤙

Yep this stuff is the insane... loud OG Sauvage ima have to double up on this. Anyone saying it’s weak has to have a fake or something cause this is a 2015 Sauvage edt bomb. Like I’m not even going nose blind to this stuff it’s so strong and with Sauvage I’m usually nose blind in 3 mins.

I blind buy it, it was right decision. It is dope of Dior Sauvage, everybody knows it. But dope or not, it smells good, long lasting, cheap and it is perfect for daily use. Office or party, summer or winter, It is GADA kind of perfume. I shall definitely buy again once it is done.

Takes that sauvage dna and makes it more fresher and more versatile with nice performance, great value for money and a really nice signature fragrance as well. Works well for about 7-8hrs on skin. 9/10

This is a pretty good Dior Sauvage dupe, sitting right between the EDT and EDP. The performance is decent so far, and I’ll see how it develops as it settles. It’s easy to wear in any season or situation. The whole “summer vs. winter fragrance” thing is just another rule people push to sound like experts. Real power is wearing what you want, not what someone tells you to. The newest Dior Sauvage batches are weak anyway. I smelled them in-store, and they’re definitely not the same as before. This dupe actually holds its ground. This is my personal OPINION not a universal law ;)

Bought this perfume and tried it today at work. It does smell really nice. its really similar to Emmanuelle Jane - Milano. If anyone wants to know if it smells like Dior Sauvage, Zara Blue Zenith, or Antonio Banderas - The Icon, I can't confirm as I haven't personally tried those.

My first and only take on Dior Sauvage. Smells high quality and last forever straight out of the box.

Update: After wearing this for a few weeks then I can honestly say If you want a Sauvage clone then this is probably the best out there. I’ve had to edit my initial review as After trying this for a few days now I’ve come to like this more, while it’s not 100% Sauvage it is very very similar & it’s not a bad frag, but it’s not a one on one dupe for the OG, it’s fresher, less spicy & with less punch from the ambroxin. Paid around £25 for my bottle which imo is what it’s worth, but still great value compared to what it’s replicating. I just went to order another bottle to put aside but it’s already out of stock. It’s honestly not a bad fragrance & I suspect most people wouldn’t be able to tell the difference if you told them you was wearing Sauvage. I have both the EDT & EDP versions of Sauvage & while I enjoy it I’m aware of how expensive it is every-time I wear it, especially as I tend to go heavy with the sprays, so was hoping this would be a cheaper substitute for those days when I don’t need the real deal but want to smell good which to an extent this does, I’d say it’s about 90% similar. Longevity is around 5-6hrs for me before it becomes more of a skin scent with projection fairly good for the first 2-3hrs. You may find you get better results as I generally struggle with most frags when it comes to performance probably due to my skin chemistry.

Anyone coming into this expecting a close enough clone of any of the editions of the original - don't buy this. All the main notes are there, but the balance is WAY off. The initial burst of bergamot that is overly sweet, almost syrupy sweet with just a slight earthy undertone is the main distinction here. This scent is even sweeter than the parfum version. This sweet bergamot overpowers all the other notes and pushes them rudely out of the way and stays in the spotlight until the drydown, where the heart notes of pepper and lavender have diminished and are far too weak already to speak any volumes. So what you get is a huge sweetened bergamot opening with lavender and pepper just peeking from behind and then the ambroxan drydown. The original is not a very complex fragrance and as such, balance is key. As a standalone, this is an ok fragrance, but as a dupe, it fails - don't believe what anyone else tells you in that regard.

Reviewing a November 2025 batch, compared to recent batches of Sauvage EDT and EDP. Fresh out of the box, this is an alright dupe. It indeed lies somewhere between the EDT and EDP versions of Sauvage, but it comes with a weird twist, so don’t get your hopes too high. The opening hits with a bergamot note that comes across pretty harsh and synthetic. As it settles, it turns way too sweet and almost syrupy. I also detect a note resembling chocolate or cocoa butter in the base. The intense sweetness in Zenith Blue doesn’t really fit this DNA and throws off the balance, to the point where it’s almost nauseating in high heat. Longevity is pretty good, about 8-9 hours on my skin. For me, this definitely lacks the airy freshness of the original DNA and it feels more like a caricature of Sauvage EDT/EDP with the sweetness amped up and that signature shower-gel sparkle removed. Hoping a bit of maceration balances it out over time.

I've been using it for some time now, and its scent is quite pleasant for the price. The ingredients aren't too bad, but I anticipated more considering the price tag of 35 USD. The longevity could definitely be improved. For 20-25 USD, it's a great deal!

Extremely Sad 😭. I got it just today. I was expecting something like DS edt smell, but it is just alcohol. Either I got fake ( which is more likely) or my olfactory system has some serious issues. I can see many reviewers are happy with performance. For me, it is just a skin scent lasting an hour. However, hope keeps humanity alive. I saw a comment saying long maceration time required for this. So, will try to keep patience and update if it changes.

First impression, pre-maceration: opening - mostly clean bergamot, ambroxan in front with slight pepper in the background that sharpens the edges and lavender to make everything blend together nicely, when it starts drying down scent feels almost too smooth to me as no single note is overpowering any other and ambroxan isn't harsh or too in your face. It settles into this clean, calm, slightly uplifting, semi reticent scent that is simple, doesn't ask for attention but is pleasant to smell. I'd say notes are very accurate as to me as scent is balanced and smells exactly how the pyramid portrays it, will obviously let it sit for some time now but I wouldn't want it to get any smoother and become somewhat timid, because first sprays already seem well rounded and borderline too smooth if it makes sense. Compared to UME this one has 50% the sweetness, not as dense, smells simply cleaner and a bit easier to wear. First impression is very pleasant - affordable price, nice bottle and packaging, decent atomizer so if you like ambroxan, citrus combo this one is an easy blind buy imo, no redundant notes and built well with what's there. Will update in a month.

Describing how 'Sauvage EDT' smells in 2025 feels a bit redundant -- but it's a citrusy, punchy, peppery ambroxan bomb, stabilized by vetiver. I've always thought that the pepper, citrus and ambroxan together create this ultra fizzy, sweet but salty, almost popping candy-type smell. Combining this fizziness with the discrete floral notes of lavender and bright geranium was a genius move to add some sensuality to an otherwise very bright and not so sexy composition. 'Zenith Blue' smells straight up gas and is so similar to the original formulation of 'Sauvage EDT' that the description above is totally accurate for 'Zenith Blue' too. Hate it or love it, it's so easy to understand why this DNA changed the fragrance world. Luckily, I love it and the smell brings a large grin to my face. French Avenue brought the original composition back to teach the new generation what masculine situationship gaslighting smelled like in 2015. This is more 'Sauvage EDT' than the current 'Sauvage EDT'.

Most important question... does this smell like sauvage? Absolutely. I’ve smelled nearly all the sauvage dupes, and while most of them are off somewhere, this one does the job beautifully. Nearly exact. Maybe the slightest bit more fizzy, but only on opening. Dry down is the same. I’ve been wearing it for a few hours now. Still smells strong. It’s not a massive projector but I do leave a scent trail that doesn’t punch you in the face, but you do smell. If someone told me they were wearing the real thing, and it was this, I would not be able to tell the difference. Props to French avenue tor finally accurately duping what I used to consider a non dupable fragrance

Sauvage edt clone, I have just received zenith blue in the mail and have had modest une fully macerated after 3 months. In comparison zenith blue seems lighter and not as strong in projection but also better blended and a little bit more soapy than the muskier modest une. Modest une smoothed out a lot after the 3 months but just off the first spray zenith blue is much smoother. Zenith blue is more pleasing to the nose just might need a couple more sprays. Zenith blue also seems to maintain the opening for longer than modest une. Modest une loses some of the sharpness of its opening and zenith blue just stays smooth and steady.

@Mannuthegr8 idk man that's odd. mine straight out of the box was pretty similar to DS edt. after some weeks of maturation or whatever, it was sweeter and nicer overall and less metalic which i like. lasting a good 6h with moderate projection. spray it a few times and come back in a week and see cuz i understand liquid brun's fakes but this ,nah i don't think the're faking this...yet.
