Zenith Deep

I have been on a long quest for a more budget-friendly replacement for BDC EDP or Parfum. I own bottles of both of the Chanel frags, but they are starting to dwindle. I have also bought, own, and have tried MANY clones and they were all severely lacking. The search is FINALLY over! I heard good things about Zenith Deep, and have had some very happy experiences with French Avenue. I ordered a few small decants of this one last week. The first night I probably used .75ml and it smelled very nice, closer to the Parfum than the EDP, when I woke up in the morning I smelled the area I had applied it and it honestly smelled oddly like BDC l'Exclusiff, I took a shower, changed and reapplied quite a bit more, probably 1 whole ml over my chest, clothes, and arms. This time I got BDC Parfum with EDP undertones. Throughout the course of wearing it for several hours, it definitely had a dry down much closer to the EDP, which is a great thing in my opinion. I like the opening of Parfum a little more, but it's very linear to my nose, the EDP starts very fresh, but I like the EDP dry down much more with the beautiful creamy mix of sandalwood and incense with that signature powdery goodness. I don't really know how I had gotten the l'Exclusiff esque drydown the night before. I ordered a bottle of ZD the same day. This is an absolute home run! I can't wait for my bottle to arrive. It seems like performance is a little better than BDC Parfum and a little worse than the EDP, about 8 hours total wear time (although I don't know how much maturation had taken place between the seller opening the bottle and decanting it, it's possible it hasn't fully matured yet). This has all of the same use cases as the EDP, 4 season friendly, smells very upscale and nailed that Chanel DNA that was missing in other clones/inspired by frags. Update: got a full bottle of this and it arrived today. Definitely needs to oxidize and mature. Atomizer is a fire hose! The opening is very synthetic and off-putting from the fresh bottle, it was much smoother from my matured decants. It smells very synthetic like CDN Iconic in the opening. After 10 minutes, it's very close to BDC Parfum on skin, but on clothing it's MUCH closer to the EDP. It basically gets to the a similar place as the samples as it dries down more, just not quite as smoothly. I am glad I sampled it first, or I would have been very disappointed. Can't wait for this bottle to hit its stride.

This is easily the most accurate and refined BDC EDP dupe I have put my nose on. Zenith Deep opens soapy and fresh, grapefruit-dominant; with an ambery, slightly leathery, and musky base. It has a dense, creamy, spicy-fruity sweetness from the nutmeg and melon heart. Comparing side by side, I believe Zenith Deep has captured this "core sweetness" of BDC EDP very well. It's actually fruitier and sweeter than the OG. What really sets ZD apart is that immediate and distinct incense accord the OG has. It does have that incense note for sure, but its different — less burnt/dusty/woody smelling, and has more of a smooth, soapy feel. In this regard, one could say the OG is "darker" even, due to having a smokier, woodier drydown; whereas ZD is "denser" in a sweet kind of way.* Dries down with a balsamic, incensy, and resinous warmth. Very addictive and manly. Not too far off from the OG. Zenith Deep is a very good fragrance on its own, especially considering the price point. Performance is good — 3 hours of actual projection, and stays on my skin for 10 hours. French Avenue have really nailed it with the Zenith line, and this is an extremely safe blind buy — about as safe as blind buys can get. There's just one singular con in the entire Zenith line, and that is the atomizer height relative to the casing diameter. They should raise the atomizer height since casing keeps catching sprays. Tedious having to wipe it after each use. ✅Excellent 🙂 Bonus — vs Club de Nuit Blue Iconic by Armaf 🙂 🔵CDN is brighter, fresher, and muskier. Captures the OGs grapefruit-mint opening, and is fairly close, but lighter in the drydown.* ⚪️ZD is denser, soapier, sweeter — melon-y, and more incensy. Overall more accurate, if not sweeter than the OG.* Both are excellent BDC interpretations, yet very distinct. Not necessarily redundant owning both as they're different enough, while being great layering partners.

This perfume feels high quality, my batch is from 2 months ago and i sprayed it right after opening it and it had no harsh alcoholic scent, nothing off-putting, just feels high quality. Scent-wise it feels very close to BDC edp, at least from memory, I have a full bottle of the OG. Soon ill do a side by side comparison to give a more detailed explanation about where and how much it differs but right now it seems like it is just slightly darker or deeper, could be from the stronger incense. I also have a bottle of CDN iconic, and although I really enjoy iconic, I can say that zenith deep comes off as higher quality and smoother with a slightly different scent profile. ( but dont get me wrong, iconic is still great, if you dig your nose into it you will feel the screechiness, i believe its from stronger cedarsmoky woods notes, but in the air, it smells incredible, so I don't care about how it is from extremely up close, its irrelevant IMO, even the whiffs I get from my neck smell great and balanced and completely different ) Longevity and performance right now is moderate, I'll need to test it properly but from first impression nothing impressive but not bad as well, I'll see if it will improve overtime ( freshly opened new batch after all ) 8.7/10

french avenue is always present with a nice smell in my opinion, this one is around the smell of bleu de chanel parfum and edp version, with around over %90 accuracy overall if take both into account, the dna is very present and really pleasant, it's wearable throughout the year, you might need extra sprays on winter though, it is long lasting and sillage is really moderate, as long as people go by your side they will get the smell for the first 2 hours quite easily and afterwards they will still smell it but it will be weaker, exactly how i like it actually. if you have a lot of perfumes and you will use this as a summer fragrance, you might consider club de nuit iconic but if you are looking for an all arounder parfum that you will use for a long time zenith deep is a better choice imo. scent: 10/10 longevity: 9/10 sillage: 8/10 price: 9/10 overall: 9/10

Final verdict: don't waste your time with other BDC clones, this is the best one. I've tried all of the big ones with the exception of the new Extrait version of CDN Iconic. This sits perfectly between BDC EDP and Parfum, the mint is more prominent, but the powdery creamy dry down is perfectly replicated. Longevity is good 6-8 hours on skin 10+ on clothing, great projection in the first 2-3 hours. All season safe, may need a bit more in the cold. Unisex leaning masculine, elegant, clean, beautiful. This is the only clone to nail the DNA, I will probably never buy BDC EDP again, I may splurge on the Parfum if I found a good deal just because it does hold up better in the cold. This is just so good, I can't say enough about it. This is the best fragrance purchase I've made in 2026 so far and my wife and I both love it more than the real Chanel frags.

Man this is bdc edp on steroid, not very citrusy like edt. The scent was deep and rich, very masculine. If you hate those ginger on armaf blue iconic you can go with this, i've been tried Afnan historic olmeda but there is disturbing smell on it, make me feel nausea and uncomfortable, just disgusting. This is very good alternatif for bdc edp. Soon will buy this full bottle. Performance beyond my expectations very long lasting on me. Rate 10/10 ✨

Zenith Deep is a winner. Very fresh, clean, and has that classic blue DNA. The peppermint hint in this makes it feel much more 'cold' and crisp than I expected. Perfect if you want to smell fresh out of the shower all day. 8/10 for me.

No idea how the performace is because only got a decant but out of many decats i got in my order, this was the best one. Im probably gonna get it but will test the club de nuit version before that because i hear that it lasts longer?

Gvintu you're right, it's a very good clone BDC Parfum, for me its better than og. Woody base are smoother and more natural xD impossible...

90% similar to BDC but lacks the characteristic creaminess of Chanel, anyway it’s better than club de nuit iconic

TLDR: it's the closest thing to Bleu de Chanel EDP, compared to a small decant of Club de Nuit Iconic. 8.5/10 would recommend a sample if you can find it! For BdC clones, this has kinda flown under the hype train radar but sometimes I prefer that. Just got it in the mail a few days ago, been testing it daily. Production batch 11/2025 so it's had some time to mature sealed in the box (as of 5/2026) and will hopefully get better. I finished my BdC EDP about a year ago, one of my faves of all time (such a common, based take for a reason). Been looking for a cheapie replacement; I was close to just buying Iconic after a 3mL decant which I thought was pretty close but overall the quality wasn't fully there being slightly synthetic especially up close so it didn't fully scratch the Chanel itch. It's a tough DNA to get right so can't always be so picky. Right off the rip this brings me right back to that grapefruit-ginger-sandalwood-incense combo that, from memory, gets really close to the original; it is closer than Iconic in quality at the very least. Before ordering, I read some reviews and watched a few YouTube’s as I usually do. Opinions were fairly mixed, making it hard to gauge consensus but overall it was positive. The negatives were "too much mint, has a more aggressive opening, etc". Reviewers were also adamant that it was a mix between the EDP & Parfum concentrations but I find it to be closer to the EDP. Haven’t really spent time with the Parfum other than testing at Sephora but I would say it retains a fresher amber touch vs the deeper woods/incense in the Parfum. If you like the DNA, you’ll enjoy this one, period. Here's my thoughts: Opening seems to be really close, having an enveloping citric charisma that defines the OG. Off to a good start! Mid to dry down starts to ~slightly~ diverge into a more floral heart but retains that powdery amber woody base that is so effortlessly timeless. Really close! I hate the whole “percentage” thing but I'd say it gets at least 90% close. On the far dry down past 6 hours it is not as detectable but on hydrated, lotioned skin it was still there for sure. I'd just mark that 6hr as the life of the frag so far. With time let's hope it gets better! Sillage is moderate for ~2 hours, not a screamer but for this DNA I want to stay on the subtle side; not announcing my presence but rather a modest welcoming into my scent bubble. I was catching nice whiffs of myself as I went about my business for a few hours. I think Iconic was slightly louder but more synthetic up close but in the air it passed pretty well too. Longevity: I have worn over the last 3 days, achieving ~6 hours of recognizable life before beginning to fade into a softer, subdued skin scent, lasting a bit longer on clothes per usual. Iconic did last longer comparatively, again at the cost of accuracy but some may prefer that trade-off or argue that they're about the same accuracy. The OG marginally lasted longer on my skin, but for the price, you would hope it would. This DNA isn't meant to be a beast so I’ll just carry around a small decant to reapply if desired. Bottle: here’s where this one takes a definite win over CDN Iconic. The bottle design has a visually (yet subjectively) nicer design, at least compared to Iconic’s wormhole design and more eye-catching than the understated dark blue translucent glass of the OG. The cap is heavy too but is not magnetic (clicks into place). My one gripe so far is the atomizer height is short, so when spraying, you get some juice that lands onto the collar of the frag leading to slight wastage. I just dab my finger on it then rub on my neck, problem slightly solved. Price Value: For me personally, this was a no-brainer. I was perusing TikTok and saw an incredible coupon on Aromatix’s shop for ~40% off. Instead of retail $49 plus tax/shipping, it was $27 out the door. Couldn’t pass it up, especially since I had been meaning to add a Bleu de Chanel style frag back into my rotation. It was between this and Raees by Arabiyat Prestige (Acqua di Gio Profondo, which was tempting as it was a 180mL (6oz) for $24, an insane value for a DNA I also enjoy a ton, but I digress. I’ll circle back to this one later!). All in all, you can't go wrong with either Zenith Deep or CDN Iconic, pick up which ever is cheaper! Or even better, order a decant of both and have them compete for your favor.

Nose Note #925 I used to have EDT and EDP and honestly, just from memory, this feels far away, but I know that everyone has already said that this is apparently the closest dupe... But I can't force myself over other reviews. In a blind test I would never even guess that this is a dupe of BdC and I ran through a 100ml of EDT and an official sample of EDP. This has too much lemon, not enough grapefruit, the grapefruit is not as deep and bitter, there's hardly any incense (to my nose). Overall this just smells like a lemon toilet air freshener, sort of (how ever beaten up this reference may sound). Air freshy-shower gely vibe is still there. This does remind me of Blue by Ahmed which I liked even less. Neither bring memory of BdC. Armaf Iconic did, but wasn't quite there. Strangely enough, the closest was dirt cheap Canale di Blue by Fragrance World, but that one had terrible performance just like Zenith Deep does. Men only. Performance is barely moderate. Sillage is bad. UPD. about 1 hour into the scent it does remind me a lot more of BdC. Performance is still terrible 7/10, I'm really not impressed at all

Just got this bottle Been saving for ages for this It has a weird pungent smell in the background, and people say it's like cockroach poop. They're not wrong. It's like blue de chanel, but it's also giving me second thoughts with the weird smell I'm letting it macerate for 2 weeks, and I strongly hope that it will improve. Update: Yeah so one day later, I gave it another shot. For the first 10-20 mins the opening will be pretty mad ( my opinion ) But the dry down is gonna gradually get better, and it's pretty much a 1:1 copy of bdc for me. I'm honestly pretty impressed. Worth trying !

This is NOT a BDC 1:1 dupe. This could be a flanker on it's own. More flowers, and sweetness. It belongs in the BDC family, but it doesn't try to be any of the existing ones. It has nothing to do with the new Exclusif. If you like BDC you will probably like this one, just don't expect a clone. Nowhere near claimed extrait concentration, but it does perform decently. If you want a 1:1 clone, go with one of the Perfume Parlour variants.

I had bdc parfum. So as a comparison, this one is way too creamy, and lacks that freshness from bdc. But I have never tried bdc edt or other bdc other than Parfum. So my comparison stands only against Parfum bdc. This is very creamy especially in the dry down. Very versatile all year round fragrance in my opinion. I like this very much, easy to reach for it.

Decent, clean blue fragrance with major shower gel and aftershave vibes. For some, this might come across as a bit too basic with mediocre performance. Once I run out of my current bottle, I don’t plan on repurchasing since I’d rather try something else. Blind-buy safe because it's a basic, inoffensive scent

Dry down smells great, 8/10, opening genuinely smells like armpits and i'm not even exaggerating in the slightest. I'm a fan of french avenue, this one straigth feels underwhelming because of that weird-ass opening smell. The blend quality is definitely there, but good god man.

To my nose I get a prominent, albeit smooth leather note with citrus, resinous amber and woods. This is an excellent dupe of BDC L'Exclusif and is a far stretch to call it similar to BDC EDP or Parfum.
