Zenith Santal

It's insane how close this is to SWY Sandalwood, it's the most niche smelling flanker of the SWY lineup, and this Zenith Santal captures that BEAUTIFULLY! I see myself wearing this daily all the way through fall, winter, and spring honestly. It performs well for the most part, nothing groundbreaking, it's a very reliable scent: Sandalwood, Vanilla, and Chestnut with a slight hint of saffron in the opening and an almost soapy fresh lavender. Really really seductive and charming stuff. Now as for quality, French Avenue do not play around, The bottle feels heavy in the hand and sturdy, The bottle itself is full matte glass, but the cap is plastic, not flimsy plastic it's heavy enough to not feel cheap at all and the atomizer is really great, reminds me a lot of the trusty Afnan atomizers that I enjoy using (nothing like the cheap Armaf and Lattafa gear) My final rating is a 9.9/10!

It’s been a long time since a fragrance has surprised me so pleasantly on first sniff. The progression of layers is clean and clear; I’ve rarely been able to smell the transition between notes quite like this. It’s a creamy sandalwood with a strong but not sharp top note. Saffron lends it that initial strength without the metallic edge found in other fragrances. And the lavender acts here as a balancing element without taking centre stage. After the top notes, the chestnut lingers for a while, and finally the sandalwood and woody notes remain on the skin. It’s a perfume I’d wear all year round, but it works best in autumn and winter. Perfect for both casual and smart occasions. Does anyone else detect an underlying note of suede?

This really have to sit for at least 2-3 weeks to turn better. when i first spray it, it was horrible stanky. but now very addictive. Edit: really nice frag. Goes above and beyond in quality no question. On YT people say moderate projektion. I Dont know what was in my bottle ø, but it is strooong. Massive push off my skin for 3 hours. Nice sent bubble for the next 3. Now in the gym after 7 hours i can clearly still smell it now when i am hot into my gym session after work. This is sooooolid. After 10 sprays i could smell nothing but parfume. 1 hour later A old lady at work, said i was stinking her work space up, i said yeh it is strong, but i wear it for me not for you. "she is known for hating on anyone that use parfume at work"

This is everything I hoped it would be. My favorite purchase this year hands down. Creamy, woody, subtle, cozy, quite neutral, yet warm and inviting. It smells like it doesn't try too hard, yet accomplishes everything you'd want. Absolutely recommended to any fan of sandalwood or SWY DNA. And on that note, recommended to everyone and anyone that ever layers fragrances, because this to me seems like the one fragrance of all I ever owned I would want to have to layer with other things. You want something woody and creamy that brings some depth and subtle sweetness to anything else without overpowering or dominating? This is it.

This was my first sandalwood smelling perfume and i love it. It has a very soothing smell, none of the notes overpower each other. This lasts for a really long time on clothes and moderately long on skin. This definitely is wearable during summer days when the heat isnt too much. The cream like texture of sandalwood is sure to appeal to everyone, male or female. If you know about woody scents, this is a safe blind buy; if not, make sure to try out a decant. This perfume is the best for anyone who is tired of generic scent profiles and want to stand out with a smell most people will like. 9/10

Just got this today, and I have not smelled the OG, but first spray, this immidiately has the SWY line dna. Reminds me very much of the Parfum version that I own which is a little dark and leathery. This is creamy vanilla, masculine, woody and I get whiffs of sandalwood all the time, it kinda makes this leathery or suede type of under tone which I love. I cant talk about the longevity yet, but will be back at it. First impression? I love it, I recommend this to ve in everybodys collection 5/5 🔥

I personally love the SWY Sandalwood very much and when I got to know about French Avenue Zenith Santal, I immediately ordered it. And you know what? They did it again. They just smacked it. I would say FA Zenith Santal is a 1:1 clone of SWY Sandalwood. Actually Zenith Santal is little bit stronger, projects more and performs better than the OG. Absolute banger from FA house. If you love SWY Sandalwood then you shouldn't miss it anyway. Grab it fast and thank me latter.

This one is very very good. I bought it, smelled it, wore it, and bought a backup already. I also have Your Touch Santal by Maison Alhambra, which is good, but Zenith Santal is better. I feel like the Zenith has more SWY DNA sweetness, combined with the really nice sandalwood. Your Touch seems weaker, more watered down, and a bit harsher or sharper as far as the sandalwood goes. I think this is definitely blind buy safe and well worth the money.

this is amazing. i smelled the og swy sandalwood a year ago and this is spot on to my memory of that. It lasts but doesnt project like a beast, but projects enough. it smells awesome and if you think this will smell like swy parfum or intensely etc and not much like sandalwood then youre wrong, the sandalwood here is strong and its really nice. beautiful fragrance, probably the best in my collection

As a sandalwood lover, this one checked all the boxes for me. This is probably the smoothest of my sandalwood-dominant fragrances. About 6hrs I still got whiffs of it; however, I did spray on clothes and on the back of my hands since reviewers said it sits closer to the skin after a few hours. I will say that this is for a mature wearer, and could easily be your office & daily for all year.

Honestly, a 99% dupe of SWY Sandalwood at a way better price point. An absolute winner of a fragrance. It's got that creamy sandalwood, lavender, and nuttiness to it that makes it such a comfy scent. It has sweetness, but the perfect amount of sweetness where it tickles your nose slightly but doesn't hijack your nose. If you love sandalwood, this is amazing.

Sometimes dupes are best enjoyed when not comparing to the original. It seems there is some disagreement on how close this gets. Having not smelled the OG, I can definitively say that this stuff smells fantastic! I like this so much I don't even care to try the original. French Ave made a smooth and highly enjoyable blend here.

When you spray this perfume, you’ll catch a woody scent that smells just like fresh timber. It’s incredibly relaxing and clean. Over time, the scent becomes even more pleasant. I can't quite put it into words, but it’s just so fragrant and gets more addictive the longer you wear it.

Gorgeous!!!!! I actually got it for my husband but ended up kipping it for my self and ordering another one for him. It's basically Armani stronger with you sandalwood, one of my favourite perfumes. Classy elegant fresh mildly sweet, long lasting and addictive! Perfectly unisex.

I love the scent of this but underestimated its performance. I never expected that this is a beastmode. Sillage is unbelievable. People from 10 meters away can smell and I thought they were joking. I just sprayed 2 in the neck and 1 in the back. So that is an overspray already.

This is a masterpiece, never tried the OG but this is a gem. Performance is very good, 8 hours on skin, and I have my jacket hanged behind the door for 2 days and I still can smell it every time I pass by. It doesn’t project beastly but for me it’s just perfect. 10/10 for me.

This, this is my jam. Woodier than the OG. It smells almost like a newly built cabinet with some creaminess and sweetness in there. The saffron almost gives off a slight smoky or incensey touch to it. Like the wood was just freshly shaven in a wood shop. Love it 👌

Great scent and it is absolutely bugging me out because my brain is telling me this scent is important to me from my past and I cannot put my finger on what or where I may have smelled something like this before but wow is it so familiar.

Don't know what it is, but my bottle got some stanki stank to it, and it really throws me off 💩 Edit: My bottle needed to be sitting on the shelf for 4 weeks before it got good. It definitely changed that skanky note. Not it is good

What a gorgeous blind buy!!!! This and the Marmara !!!! They smell so expensive yet they are pretty affordable . There is no excuse for smelling cheap these days !!!! Absolutely in love with this scent

I love it. Could be signature scent. I have not smelled the Stronger With You Sandalwood. It has the STW DNA + Sandalwood. Well blended and could imagine this being a great clone. Leans masculine.

I like a lot about this, but I can't love it. Not quite yet at least. And that's because I occasionally I get a whiff of something that reminds me of cheap, sweet, watery, tomato sauce, like I've just opened a tin of spaghetti hoops with my teeth. It's seldom noticeable, if at all, after the dry down, most prominent in the opening half hour. Once it dries down, it's fantastic. Long lasting, deep, woodiness that eventually gives way to a smooth, creamy vanilla, reminiscent of a good ice cream, love THAT, but I sincerely hope the opening refines itself and settles down into something that doesn't take my mind back to cheap school dinners. This "spaghetti hoops" smell is also the only thing I get when I give the atomiser a whiff. I'm a big simp for fragrances that you just can't help but take the cap off and have a sniff when you walk past, and unfortunately this isn't one of them. :( Anybody else experiencing this? PD 11/2025, batch 17519, btw. Will come back after a month or so to see if this is still an issue. EDIT: So after two weeks settling, this is a lot, LOT, better. The vanilla is more boldly putting its hands up as the source of the sweetness and the saffron and lavender are more pronounced and easy to identify as well. No longer smells like a tin of spaghetti hoops out of ten.

It's pretty nice for what you pay. I havent' smelled SWY Sandalwood, but i smelled Absolutely and there is indeed the same chestnutty DNA here. My only issue is the plasticky opening which makes it feel overly synthetic for a bit. If i were to compare it to another Sandalwood-centric perfume, like Tam Dao (sitting at a higher price point), this one feels more every-day, casual and mass appealing, rather than meditiative or demanding your full attention. It performs very well for the first 2 hours, after that it's still there but not very loud.. (then again Tam Dao has lower than expected performance) I had previewsly bought Armaf Odyssey White, which smells like a fresher take on SWY, but never reached for it as it felt kinda cheap, AXE level. This one though feels more special and more expensive than it is, which makes it an easy grab for (lets say) an evening coffee.

I love the Zenith line from French Avenue & really look forward to future releases in this range. Zenith Santal is a really good dupe of SWY Sandalwood, had this for a little while & have had a few wears now so happy to leave a review. I have the OG SWY Sandalwood & with this on one hand & the OG on the other they are very close, I’d say the the Santal is slightly better as it has more of a creamier sandalwood vibe, performance is average with around 4-5hrs longevity & moderate projection for the first 1.5-2hrs, in fairness it performs better than the OG as I find all the SWY frags don’t perform anywhere near what others claim for me. This is so close to the SWY OG that I’d recommend you just get this, especially as the OG is now getting harder to get and you can buy 3 of these for what a bottle of the OG will cost you.

Today is the day that I both stop blind buying fragrances and pay nore attention to my instincts. I should really have known before I made the purchase but Zenith Santal is basically identical to Ard Al Zaafaran Oud 24 Hours Majestic Gold. Having worn them both side by side there is literally no difference.......so why is that a problem?.....well I now have a duplicate of a fragrance I already own and regardless of it being a very nice one the worst part is I have paid twice as much for the duplicate (Zenith Santal) as I did for the one I already own. Its my own fault, the information was all there but sokething was saying "oh this is really different so you should get it!"....DOH!....err no not at all. Big mistake, much regret and I take this as a message from the universe to stop blind buying.

It has only been a week since i got it, but so far i really enjoy this one. Smells fairly close to the OG but it leans more towards the woodiness rather than Vanilla sweetness. In the air it smells incredible, creamy sandalwood and its not overly sweet, however when i smell up close on skin it smells like a newly built cabinet for the first 2 hours. Longevity is moderate for now, i get around 6 hours on my skin with projection being strong for the first hour and then settles to being more intimate. Sticks for a lot longer on clothes. Overall i can say that it is a very versatile fragrance, quality is decent but not great. Can definitely be used in summer evening in my humble opinion as i dont find it overly cloying. 7.5/10 (hopefully will improve even more with maturation)

Stronger With You Sandalwood Dupe Just seen this at my supplier & super tempted to order but I’m away on my Christmas holidays to Austria in two days so will have to wait till my return to order a bottle, have a bottle of SWY Sandalwood which I like, so interested to see how this compares... I see they have also dropped a white one which is a dupe of Bleu De Channel, the Zenith line from my experience is pretty good so will definitely be trying this one, may even order it while I’m away so it’s here on my return in the new year. Annoying they’ve dropped this one so late & so close to Christmas, as it only became available today.

Shocked I've not read any comparisons to Tom Ford's Eau D'Ombre Leather. Almost identical in the opening and first hour to this fragrance, which caught me off guard. Smells like a nice mix of TF E'DOL & Gucci Intense Oud for the first half hour, before it dries down to a nice rounded Sandalwood scent. I've not tried the original Armani, but this is a great offering from French Avenue. It's about time they ditched all the shit clone bottles as well. This is a much nicer aesthetic than the rest, feels and looks nice. Solid 8/10 K Bye.

It really does smell exactly like the fragrance it is duping and is probably the greatest flanker of SWY too. The performance and sillage are great, and the price is cheap. Unless you hate sandalwood or already have SWY it is a safe pick and will nail evenings, dates, and basically everything outside of gym and hot summer days.

It captured the SWay dna with a touch of sandalwood. It is really good. Only issue for now is the longevity for me. I think I will let it macerate for a bit and come back on this. As the bottle mentioned this is supposed to be an extrait.

To sweet for my liking and it's the bubblegum/candy type sweetness. I love other type of sweets, vanilla or honey, which is kind of weird. The dry down is better but still only a like and not full bottle worthy for me.

Nose Note #941 I smell very little resemblance to the OG Stronger with You DNA. This has a lot of saffron and sandal smelling a little like pickles. I'm not a big fan of SWY, but this is even worse in my opinion. I don't like this. My wife does though. Men only. Approaching strong performance, but not quite getting there. Sillage is similarly moderate. Overall, obviously a great bang for buck, but not my taste at all. I warmed up to SWY and especially to SWY Leather a lot, but this is not for me at all. 6/10, a lot of saffron

Good for the price, but not nearly as close to the OG as the reviews and influencers would have you believe. I'd say it is about 70% of the way there, but it misses all of the best parts of the OG. I mean, it is super inexpensive, but not a replacement for the OG. Not trying to piss in anyone's Cheerios, just stating my personal observation and experience. It’s a dupe, so I review and rate it as such.

Not a bad scent, but it's just too sweet for me. Never smelled the OG but I know that SWY line has that boozy chestnut vanilla dna. This does the vanilla and sandalwood really well, it smells very smooth and easy to wear for fall and winter. It's missing the rum/cognac note so the creaminess is too sweet for me.

Im not a big fan. Opening is heavy, medicinal saffron. Dries down to a creamy, spicy, aromatic scent with that harsh/medicinal saffron in the back. The saffron unfortunately, destoys the balance of the smooth, nutty, aromatic aspect of the scent. Try before buying and don't believe the hype blindly.

Smells like medicinal wasabi paste to me, also in the drydown. I get no resemblance with the SWY dna.

Either something is wrong with my bottle or this just sucks. There is no sweetness at all and it smells like rusty ass. Something awful that lingers for so long. I tested it on my skin before sleeping and I had to go shower to get the smell off because I couldn't sleep. IS MY BOTTLE JUST ASS or is it really like this. Someone down below said medicinal wasabi. That's is probably the best way to put it Not buy blind safe. Wouldn't recommend.

Opening very harsh and headche inducing. Definitely not for warm weathers. Only wearable in very cold weathers and few sprays will be more than ok.

Now I love a good nutty scent but the star of the show is very clearly the sandalwood. It's pretty sharp I was expecting a little softer landing but it does smell delicate. Now honestly this will NOT be my signature scent. It's just ok for now. I don't really believe in maceration as much I probably should but it'll probably help make this a little more complete. What scares me is the performance and I haven't seen that yet so we'll see Eh? To me it smells minty fresh with like a spicy wood edge it's quite addicting actually. I just don't think it represents me so it's going straight to casual wear.

I didn’t like it at first then I gave it a couple weeks and now I love it. This smells like Swy parfum mixed with chestnut and creamy sandalwood. I’ve never smelled the original so I can’t compare its closeness but I’ve smelled the main stronger with yous and they nailed the swy parfum dna the sandalwood and chestnut adds some maturity and uniqueness from the original stronger with yous. solid projection and longevity, for its price it is worth it. Great creation by French avenue.

It’s nice. Close to the original & had hints of parfum as well. High quality, definitely smells like a designer fragrance. It’s an extrait & the best out of the zenith line. I have some of the original SWYs and longevity seems to be an issue - this is solid though. Easy 8 hours with good projection for 1-2 hours. Extrait so sticks closer to skin later on

Saffron should have been scaled back as it gives off a strong medicinal leather scent. Not blind buy safe and rough to my nose. Thriller is a much better sandalwood fragrance to my nose. I can’t believe how many reviewers think this has a smooth woody scent.
