I was at a perfume store in the mall, just browsing for my next potential target... when I saw it, to my Immaturity's delight [oh common, how many of you read the brand name wrong :] sorry sorry, this is serious business...] So of course after I and the shopkeeper giggle for a time, I hafta try it. yes, for the sake of the hilarious misread. I tried four of the women's frags... I don't remember offhand what they were... but this one absolutely blew me away. It had a wow factor. An absolute wow factor that I am defiantly not used to having in a perfume. I've had the feeling before, but oh man is it a rarity. Why though? the price suggests it's nothing special. And I've never really heard of the brand before, I only picked it up because it resembles a word very near and dear to my lips. I think maybe it's because it resembles more of a man's cologne... but a womanly version of it [check my profile, I actively wear quite a few men's frags]. It's like... like woody excellence. Like a bad-girl pioneer [Laura I. Wilder gone wild?] Like a not-so-girly alternative to floral fragrances. Floral Unisex with a woodsman edge? One complaint about the unique packaging of the bottle is that the "mouth" of the bottle kindof "dribbles" when you spray it... to which upon discovery I exclaimed ... !!!! Sorry :] I'll grow up one day I swear!

My husband just got a box set of this for me. When I first used it I thought I smelled like a drunk who has peed themselves. It had a strong boozy rum smell mixed with masculine aftershave smell. In the next 5 minutes it settled and became really nice. I agree with a reviewer here who said they could smell marshmellow. I thought I could but I had Christina's Royal Desire on my wrist so I thought it was that. The next day when I sprayed FCUK Connect it was the same sweet marshmellow smell. I am surprised because I have the other FCUK and it is a little bland so I didn't expect to like this but I do. It is like a winter or night version of the new 3 in the purple bottle they have just released. These are linear perfumes but with good staying power and won't offend anyone. You can spray them on and forget about them but still get hints of the fragrance as you go about your day or night. I think they are worth the money and they are not expensive and easy to find. There is something for everyone with their range. I am glad my Hubby got this and I will get it again when I finish the one I have. They come in small and large bottles too which is helpful.

The funny thing about this fragrance (which I bought without testing it first) is that one step further and it would be a perfect fragrance for my future husband. The first spray is very sharp and sweet, but in a masculine way. Think Boss Bottled, which I love even though everyone's using it. I smell berries, bergamot and violet at first. No vanilla and definitely no coconut. Then blackcurrant and lotus. In the meantime the woody notes are starting to appear calming the scent down to a steady, mellow and warm deliciousness. The drydown on my skin is silky and I can also, like skitten, smell marshmallow. A pleasant surprise, definitely +stays on for hours. Edit: a friend of mine smelled it today and said it reminded her of Euphoria CK.

Aye, it does smell milky in the opening. Extremely milky actually ! Buttery and coconutty, citrusey and woody. Marvellous blend! "Oil me back". It's such a warm and enveloping scent, very connecting indeed. It does remind me slightly of " Kingdom" by McQueen - the same Oriental spicy vibe, but if Kingdom is suggestive and sexy; FCUK Connect is delicious and comfy, rather floriental gourmand smell: creamy, musky and muscat y... The puff from the brewery : moist, earthy and homely; caressing, soft and balmy, something you would like to snuggle with in front of the fireplace on a chilly night. Cedar is burning sparklingly here. So cosy...Sheer delight ! Hot stuff. From Britain with Love!

Wow! I am so glad I took the chance on this! I love sweet thick sexy fragrances and I was worried this might be masculine. I used to mistake amber as a masculine scent but now in the right weather and mixed properly it adds sexiness to the base and that's what's going on here. It's thick berries sweet and syrupy dancing on an amber base and it's gorgeous!!! It's berry gourmand in my opinion and I am loving it! This is like a stronger Fancy Forever.

This was clearanced for $10.00 as a gift set..and it may be the best money ever spent on a fragrance. It's all about the dry down for me and it's woodsy mellow comfort. I need to go back and purchase again before they're gone..I'm in love.

The fcuk website says notes are Jungle praline, carnal tuberose, rose petals, apple martini, malibu shot, amber crystals, patchouli brandy...etc idk. But this site is wayy off on the notes

It seriously is amazing, smells a little too heady to begin but it fades into this deep woody berryish smell, yum. Seems to last for a long time too, the smell.

Fabulous clean, woody, berry-licious! I absolutely loved this when I tested it. It lasts forever! Perfect for Summer. I love it!

Lovely balanced blend of woody, amber, fruity floral. Absolute bargain on Ebay, smells much more expensive than it is.

Surprising smell! FCUK Connect Her by FCUK was a blind buy because I was interested in the description. The first impression was horrible. The bottle is huge and clumsy like a brick. The smell ... sweet, bland, sweet, bland, etc. I put on the shelf a half year ago because no one wanted it. A week ago, I read somewhere that this scent develops beautifully in summer. Wow! What a wonder! Indeed, the sweet smell associates with the lotus flower, but also with raspberries and cherries in tasty syrup (no such fruit in the composition). Besides, I sense something fresh juicy, what goes into an intriguing focus. It's probably bergamot. FCUK Connect Her by FCUK has been used by me since early August and now I can say that the smell is sweet and fruity with a hint of amber. After some time, it gets sexy, intriguing and exudes femininity. It is strange, but despite that this is very sweet, that is better in summer than any other time of the year. Although perfumes are not expensive and exclusive, but it develops nicely on the skin and has good longevity. I like the smell, but I do not know if the end of the summer, I will not stop ... 23rd of July, 2017 I've used this scent again for a month and I must say that I like it a lot in this summer, more much than last year.

I'm really impressed by FCUK fragrances so far. I sampled Connect at a local department store and loved it's ambery finish. I picked up a large bottle on the cheap a week later and now douse myself in it regularly. For an inexpensive 'fume, it's lovely. Regarding the notes, I don't get many floral stand outs. Peony and jasmine, but a small amount. There's also a sharp, green apple aroma (probably the bergamot) upon opening. After act 1 and 2, the 3rd act comprises delicious sandalwoody, ambery goodness and the longevity is pretty good too. Oh, and the sweet muskiness is wonderful as well. As Homer Simpson once coined the phrase "Mmmmm, doughnuts...", I'm now going around saying "Mmmmm, amber." Amber and sandalwood lovers who opt for cheaper, good quality fragrances - rejoyce!! There's nothing synthetic or weird about it.

I bought this because it smells reminiscent of 1990s hair dye. Nostalgic but weird. I LOVE IT. Don't blind buy. Even for $12, I was glad to smell it first. It doesn't smell much like any of the notes above. Looking at those notes it would seem like an aquatic-woody-floral, but it's more fruity-powdery-woody. The cheapest blind buy I've ever made and I'm very happy with it. To me, this can be a winter, spring, or fall scent. It's light on my skin. I get a blast of berries in the beginning, but it quickly settles into a sandalwood and amber scent. I actually like this one and don't get all the bad reviews. I've smelled expensive scents that are actually awful. This is not an earth shattering scent, but it's definitely not bad. Edit: 01/4/15 This has absolutely no lasting power. So I just sprayed it all over my curtains and pillows to use it up. Great scent but no lasting power.

At first sniff it's overpowering and smells a little chemical, I think beacuse of alcohol in it. But in a few seconds it turns into very pleasant, well balanced parfume. The frag contains everything and for everybody - it's a little sweet, but not sugary, also woody, but not in old-lady's style, floral enought. I would say, I difenitely feel black currant here and certainly do not feel lily-of-valley. I'm wearing FCUK at cold times, winter or fall. Very good at its price, quality and longevity.

Slightly masculine Similar ones I've tried are ed hardy villain It's like a woody citrus fresh, I would give it to my son if I had kept it. This and villain. I have more of an open perfume mind nowadays so do try it. It's inexpensive and not horrible chemically scented.

Strange how different people have different tastes. This was a blind buy for me, read some reviews on amazon and found a bargain. First attempt to spray it on myself failed, I had to use both hands as the button is very hard to press. To the fragrance itself...it's way off the notes as I find it very sweet berry scent. I can't smell anything else and it's not woody or musky to me. Frankly I don't like it, there's nothing interesting about it and it's kinda sickly. It doesn't last long either. I do spray it now and again though and it seems to get a little better, but over all, this is definitely my first and last bottle.

I can’t imagine how somebody could see/smell similarity to “Kingdom” and that’s a reason why I’ve bought it. This scent is sweet and woody, berries and amber, it kind of reminds me some soda drink.

I'm disappointed with this purchase. It smells too masculine. The woody scent is too strong.I think this would work better as a scent for men.

YUCK would be a more appropriate name for this cheap, synthetic mess. Save your money for some decent stuff.

It was a blind buy. I don't really know what to think about this perfume. Honestly, I don't see how other reviewers call this fragrance to be sweet. I don't know if it has to do with the climate of country (I am from India and it was 34 degree Celsius when I sprayed this) but the perfume is very strong and I hardly smell anything sweet in it. Though on the first few seconds, it is light and soft; almost floral citrus (the top notes, I think) but after the dry down, it becomes strong; very balmy and musky (I believe it's the base notes). On my nose, the dry down is very sharp. Too sharp to be honest. I didn't like it. Though I did liked the scent on the first few seconds when I first sprayed it but then the dry down ruined it. It's too strong for me, I suppose. Anyway, it has incredible longevity. It can stay for 10 hours or more! The sillage is, however, weak. Though it is moderate for one hour, it becomes weaker as time passes. Overall, I guess people who like strong, intense fragrances may like it. Though personally for me, I don't like it.

Just because a fragrance is inexpensive does not mean it's cheap and warrants a negative and immature response. So many sheep here. Baa baa. FCUK is a British fashion empire which incidentally this logo and brand reflect it's 'French Connection'. These fragrances a sorely underestimated by most reviewers here, who sadly have the temerity to bag a product based on price. It's like idiots wearing the logo on the outside. Bad taste. Who gives a rat's bazoo what one paid for what? Does that make one somewhat more valuable? Strange how plebs Yes PLEBS, equate style with money. Money cannot buy style. You cannot judge a book by it's Cover, right? I love this fragrance and I paid 7 Aussie dollaroozies for it at Target on sale, and I'm so glad I did. Prior to this I had purchased the male versions for my 17 year old son, who had recently lost nearly 50 kilo's in weight and has been experimenting with fashion. At 13 Bucks a pop I felt the 100 mill bottles were a bargain. Just yesterday we were discussing FCUK and it's under valued products namely how fantastic their fragrances are, for the small price tag associated. FCUK fragrances have amazing sillage and longevity and represent excellent value for money. There is no shame associated with the inexpensive price tag. Those who are stupid enough to assume so are just that. Fragrance is about personal taste. I personally have always loved fruity fragrances. Being of a Scandinavian decent and having spent most of my life in Australia, with hot summers, one learns to appreciate products that ease the day or night. French Connection United Kingdom" Yay for they.

Well... this definitely isn't what I expected. I liked the sound of the notes, but since the original FCUK was a huge disappointment for me, I was prepared that this one might surpirse me too. On my skin it opens with a messy cedar-bergamot-musk-lily of the valley combo. Messy in the sense that it smelled poorly blended, which is a shame because I think this had a great potential, especially with the sweet lotus peeking through a little bit later on. But then, there comes the amber bomb! Very warm and quite bitter. It mixes with the artificial-smelling cedar and a tiny hint of sweet jasmine. And that's about it for me. After 3 hours there is just a hint of bitter amber which seems to scratch my nose with it's artificial feel. I think this one just doesn't work with my chemistry. Generally I am not a huge amber-fan and, for my tastes, there is just too much of it in this fragrance. It doesn't 'stink' or anything , but there is nothing in it that I actually like either. I don't hate it, but I can definitely say that I don't like it. Shame... It seems that FCUK and I just don't get along for now. But maybe if I manage to get hold of some samples of their other creations, something will change. Fingers crossed!

This week I've been exploring the so-called 'cheapies', and I must say that from what I've tested, half of these fragrances are worthy of a higher price tag and glitzy advertising. FCUK Connect for Her is surprisingly masculine and woodsy. The sillage packs a punch, so I learnt early on to apply sparingly. One could be forgiven for thinking this is a men's fragrance, yet its rich masculinity is what draws me in. The cedar and sandalwood accords are incredibly strong, further complimented by zesty bergamot and syrupy, resinous amber. When you smell this fragrance you can almost taste it, it is that intense. I guess you could say that the scent is a little outrageous and daring, somewhat suited to those girls that enjoy the attention, the ones that like to stand out in a crowd. Actually I'd recommend FCUK Connect for Her for clubbing, it suits that crowded and intense atmosphere well. FCUK Connect is far removed from FCUK for Her which was somewhat clean and musky, this fragrance smells dirtier in a good way. The longevity is also very good. I think I can detect a hint of patchouli in there somewhere too, which reminds me of YSL's Elle.

I was looking for a present for my little friend, who's sixteen. But this scent was so good I almost decided to buy it for myself! It's a young person's scent, but it is not shamelessly sweet or silly - I find it quite decent. While I guessed correctly at it being a Floral Woody Musk, I got some of the notes wrong. But I *honestly* could swear I smelled these (in the order they appeared): a burst of red berries, then vanilla, coconut (lots of it, and my mum picked up coconut too), lotus, sandalwood and musk. It smells beachy and outright delicious. And what a bargain at $12! The only downside is that it doesn't last very long.

I usually enjoy unisex fragrances but this one a bit too masculine. I managed to talk my 22 year old son into sampling it and we were both in agreement.... it came alive with his chemistry. He allowed his brother, 20, to wear it one evening and my sons date commented how much she liked it. Neither share what they are wearing but they do have it as part of their fragrance wardrobe. Truthfully I can't pin point what makes this more masculine than feminine. What I do know is that it works wonderfully on two of the men in my life but not for me.

I bought this fragrance as a gift set along with the body lotion a couple of weeks ago and its not something i'll wear again. I think i brought it purely for the fact that it was only $20.00 and you never know what you'll get- I find that exciting. One of the ladies that i work with wears this on ocassion and it smells really good on her. Its just a sweet smell with a mix of other notes that to be honest with you- does not last very long. But like some other people have said- the bottle is kinda cool.

I don't know if the tester I used in the discount shop is spoiled or all the batches in the shop is possibly spoiled as well (thankfully I never bought one after testing) but there's no way on earth Alexander McQueen's Kingdom smells like fermenting berries and wet pencil shavings. I've been looking for a Kingdom dupe for years and this ain't it bitch.

Nice scent! Smells just like Bath & Bodywork’s “Thankful” from their Aromatherapy line, which only has bath/shower gel, hand washing foaming soap and I believe a pillow spray. Connect doesn’t last that long — perhaps layering with the lotion may extend the scent. I smell Myrrh and Frankincense with vanilla?? Really nice though. :-)

I bought this 2 piece scent and lotion for a song. I actually like it lots. Is very warm and mellowing. On my skin it lasts and develops into a musky like marshmallow scent, but not sicky sweet. You can also keep smelling the violets and sandalwood overtones. To me it is a very delicious and provocative scent

If you intend to buy a perfume for yourself or someone, I suggest you shouldn't buy this one because this smell is cheap and too sweet. I bought it but didn't test it. When I brought it home and spray it. It smells like cheap coconut oil mixed with vanilla

Unusual. Not sure I like it. Quite alcoholic at the beginning. Brief berries then a lot of a note I am not familiar with and don’t like. Not for me. It also seems more masculine to me. If I had spent a lot of money, I’d have been upset.

smells exactly like euphoria(ck)..with the exception that euphoria can be smelled from far away by the person who is wearing it, and last until you get a shower and it is more expensive...in my skin it more like a mature perfume

Overall this is a very plain fragrance x smells like many other fragrances x nothing special. Its ok though. Friction will always outdo any of the other fcuk fragrances.

I bought this cologne with cautiously because of the name. I have since bought it for a friend and we both love the woody scent. The bottle is kinda cool, too.

Very strong at first spray but let it cool down a little and its beautiful and you bound to find this one cheap I picked up a bottle for $12 AUD bargain!

definately worth the price. Smells expensive... not flowerish at all. Pretty strong but warm....On me it lasts very long. Has musky amberish tones.
