Strawberry Flowers

This perfume is pretty close to the smell of a strawberry flower. My mom had a strawberry patch in the backyard for a long time, and when I was little (and less afraid of bees back then) I would smell the tiny white flowers. The real flower IS a bit citrusy, though not as much as the perfume portrays. I'm surprised this is an edp, because the longevity certainly doesn't hold up to such. To be able to smell this on someone nearby is nearly impossible. But to smell on yourself and clothes, I would say it lasts 2-3 hours max. I like it alot though, due to memories of that patch in the backyard and that it is a very clean scent. I can see why people would be disappointed in this, but you have to know what a strawberry flower smells like; it is very different from the smell of strawberry fruit.

I fell in love with this after spraying it at Sephora when it came out, not realizing it was LE. I luckily got hold of one that same summer and have been hopelessly searching for a replacement ever since - and sparingly using what I have left. It is such a beautiful youthful scent. It really gets the scent of the strawberry flower on the plant - green and fresh and slightly floral. It mixes this with a tart citrus sort of scent that is energizing and bright. There is no typical artifical berry scent at all. Its only flaw is that maybe the citrus conceals the strawberry flower more than I'd prefer ideally, but it is still such a unique mix that screams late spring/early summer and active/outdoorsy youth.

I will agree with Chance25 that it smells a little like fruit punch, but on me it was very pleasant and sweet. Not overwhelmingly sweet - just right. It lasted quite a long time, too, which was surprising after other reviews I've read on other sites. I've actually got my wallet out and am about to go buy more bottles!

To me, this smells like fresh strawberries. Nothing artificial or too sweet; just the fresh tangy scent of strawberries. I love it. It's wonderful for summer. I'm sad it was only a limited edition as I think it should be permanent. Maybe they'll bring it back someday.

Freshly peeled oranges is what this smells like-LOVE that smell-so innocent!!! It's better for lil girls-mine like it alot. Smells great on them! :-D

My experience of this was interesting. First on, it was really sweet and sour, and made my mouth water with the mandarin-peach tartness (not in a yummy edible way, more like I had been assaulted with lemons.) That was for about ten minutes. Underneath was the suggestion of flowers. I was afraid that this was going to be it - it didn't smell so great. But suddenly, the sour almost completely disappeared and the warm, sweet strawberry came out on top. It was a neat effect. The strawberry here smells similar to chapstick, though. There was still a little touch of sour. I get just a touch of the iris from the base. On me, it never really got to fading down to the base notes - went from strawberry to fading completely in a couple of hours. Not a wow, but still subtle and pretty.

This is an interesting blend, fruit with a bitter edge (like white wine actually), not syrupy or with any honey peach/apricot notes. It smells rather chemical when 1st applied, becomes more subtle and pleasing after a few minutes - violets, powder, neroli...and on me, strangely enough, a hint of mint! I like it for very casual spring or summer days, not my usual cup of tea but I still enjoy wearing it now/then.

I was curious to see how this perfume would compare to Miss Dior Cherie, the only perfume I have ever experienced that allows an adult woman to wear strawberries. I was pleasantly surprised by Fresh's take on Strawberries. It's light & less complex than Miss Dior Cherie. If you prefer something that smells cleaner and, well, fresh, Strawberry Flowers is a great alternative.

Years later I'm still dying for a bottle of this. I don't know why I didn't pick this up when I loved it every time I tried it. If anyone is getting rid of theirs please let me know...love love love this. I don't even remember exactly what it was maybe the bitter citrus with a hint of green maybe just the way i imagine strawberry flowers to smell...

This perfume smells like cucumbers, yes thats right, not strawberries but cucumbers.

Fresh STRAWBERRY FLOWERS smells remarkably similar to Hawaiian Punch for the first couple of minutes after application. Fortunately, the vetiver-like "woodsy notes" sweep in shortly thereafter to moderate the tropical fruitiness. But STRAWBERRY FLOWERS remains a sunny, almost incandescent fruity-floral fragrance throughout its long life, and it projects quite a lot--especially for this category. The notes are not easy for me to tease out, and I'm not even sure that I ever really detect strawberry per se, but the composition as a whole smells quite natural and offers another example, along with this house's PINK JASMINE, of the real possibility of an entirely respectable fruity-fruity-floral fragrance.(Osmanthus is already a fruity flower, right?) One reason why I appreciate the house of FRESH so much--in addition to their use of very natural-smelling notes--is that their eaux de parfum really are what they claim to be. No dilution issue whatsoever with this house, I'm happy to be able to report.

This is so pretty! When i first sprayed, there was this instant orange zest like a fresh peeled orange! Lovely indeed! After a minute or so, the strawberry becomes more evident. They call it strawberry flowers for a reason as it is a slightly tart strawberry. This can also be compared to a lemon berry or a strawberry lemonade smell. I get the lemon berry slush from Sonic Drive In , and to my nose ,that's what this smells like. Great for daytime occasions or daily wear. Great pick me up ! It does not last all day but pretty decent longevity. I'd say 4 hours or so but I don't mind reapplying just for that top note whiff. :)

Bracing, sunny, cheerful, uplifting. I grow strawberries on my balcony sometimes in the spring/summer, and this really does smell like their pert little flowers. A lot of citrus in this one. Not really any strawberry...at least not what you'd imagine a strawberry-scented product to smell like. Reminds me of gardening and makes me smile, but it doesn't last long enough on the skin to warrant a purchase. On my best friend, however, it lasts about three hours.

Nooooo this doesn't smell like fruit punch to me anymore. And it's not a stink bomb. More an interesting combination of Iris mixed with champagne and lipstick. Yes, lipstick! That rosey, powdery smell some brands had years ago. It's a charmer and the lotion smells exactly like lip smackers in that big ole orange shade.

Goes onto me like orange pulp with a bitter note like the seeds left in. It stays very simple and doesn't seem to come up with any strawberry on me at all, but it's a nice clean fruit without being messed up with excessive florals or modern 'fruity floral' ideas.

This is sweet sweet sweet, but not entirely artificial. The strawberry scent is prominent over all other notes (as expected), and while it isn't candy-like, it is for the fruity gourmand enthusiast.

Nice and citrusy at first then smells yummy and like strawberries but sadly later smells like cleaner.
