Alma

I had a pleasure of trying Alma from the house of Fueguia today and I must say that I completely agree with the review from rbalkris in that Alma is quite reminiscent of Agra Magnolia from the brand. However, on my very cool skin there is nothing herbal. I do get lots of signature Fueguia base DNA, which on me smells rather naturally sweet and fresh and clean. Alma feels like smelling Agua Magnolia, but through the most clear cold thin layer of fresh water. I really like the scent, but again the performance is an issue. The scent is so faint after only about 30 minutes and the projection is next to none. Most likely it’s my skin though because a lot of perfumes tend to have poor projection on me.

A floral scent fortified by herbal accents, this is a pleasant unobtrusive offering from this natural scents line. The perfume opens with herbal notes of marjoram, rosemary and chamomile. The heart is mostly magnolia and jasmine. The perfume settles on the signature plant based musk accord used by this house. The unisex scent has moderate sillage and good longevity. Many similarities to Agua Magnoliana also from the same line. Could be a signature summer scent. Enjoy!

I bought this while on vacation in Menorca. I was so blown away by how unique it smelled – mysteriously herbal and natural and enchanting. I still find it to be all those things, but now that I'm home and it's among my other (eek, 50+) perfumes, I realize I just never wear it. I think it's one of those fragrances where I'd personally prefer it as a diffused, room scent rather than as a perfume on the skin. If anyone is interested in a 99% full bottle in like-new condition, let me know!
