Muskara Apis

To echo the other reviewers, the notes listed here are not correct—Muskara Apis is just straight up honey. The kind you may find in beeswax candles, honeycomb cut from a hive, or raw in a jar at a local market. It is sweet but not in a saccharine way and warm without being heavy. There is a waxiness to it, almost 'talc-y' on first spray. It does not develop or change, instead opting to do exactly what it says it will: smell like honey. I am usually disappointed with Fuegia's longevity (as they are naturals made from ingredients Julian sources), but this one sticks around longer than their lighter scents. As with all Fuegia perfumes, the price is a little eye-watering but the craftsmanship is there.

Like the other reviews, this is just pure honey, though strangely not at all cloying or overly sweet, like a beeswax candle and honey boiling in a pot on the stove, that's really the best approximation I can give! The musk doesn't jump out at you, and even in the drydown the honey stays remarkably present. Longevity borders on annoying! I last sprayed 16 hours ago and i'm still getting whiffs, if only as a skin scent by this point. Very impressive!

Was so surprised when I saw the list of notes here! It’s honey, pure honey and it’s not only on my skin, I have lots of friends who tried it on and it’s pure honey in everyone. Weird why fragrantica didn’t mention honey at least as one component, though there is nothing else there. Maybe just Musc. Anyway, it’s very beautiful, most realistic honey I’ve tried so far. Love love love!

This stuff is amazing, and the older the vintage, the more complex it gets! Can't believe there are no honey notes listed above as this is pure musky honey. Absolutely worth checking out, and the whole Brand's line is of incredible quality. Found them on the top floor of Harrods and was blown away by the style and substance!

So many of these Fueguia 'fragrance notes' are wrong. This one is a mix of sweet honey (possibly honeycomb) and the stock musk used in this range/series. On the actual Fuuguia site, it actually lists the Apis Mellifera, which is the bee itself! However, it is actually only honey that comes through, some really sweet, photorealistic honey, too. Like Manuka honey or something of the like. The musk isn't as present as it is in others from this series, which is a welcome relief. Overall, a pleasant scent, but not the kind that I usually go for...
