Orange Crush

An instant "I love this!" when I first sprayed this one, I'm happy to say the feeling stayed throughout the day. I'm on an eternal quest to find "the one" that will become a new signature scent. Often an initial excitement in the opening is disappointed in the dry down - especially with citrus fragrances, which seem to turn too harsh or too fake. The opening is pure orange - a delicious, natural citrus with no hint of the toilet cleaner that I sometimes find in such fragrances. What really makes me love it, however, is the simultaneous feeling of both freshness AND warmth - especially as the amber dry down becomes more noticeable. It may be too sweet for some, but I do not find it cloying at all - just reminiscent of a warm summer's day - although I won't restrict myself to wearing this when the thermometer rises. Have worn it non-stop since buying a sample bottle, but will definitely be adding a full size to my collection.

i've had several tester sizes of this since last year that finally ran out, so am trying out the Sephora Body Mist exclusive, which so far is just fine for my requirements of this scent - liberal daytime spritzing. it seems to be (if applied again straight on top of just dried first spritz) missing nothing from the perfume version - a benefit of so few ingredients i guess. what's to love in something so simple? it smells of long, hot summer days and - specifically - Sunquick Orange (or maybe the mandarin?) squash that you could only buy in continental Europe in the 70's where this scent is rooted to for me. 'Happy childhood memories i can't quite bring back out of the mists of time, but the general feeling is strong. warm, carefree, soft, easy and very, VERY orange.

Tried the Orange Crush fragrance in their store based in Amsterdam and absolutely loved it. Fresh, citrusy, sometimes reminds of ice tea. Will definitely buy it for summer. Their store in Amsterdam is beautiful! Exceptional customer service as well - I had an issue with the bottle of another scent of theirs that was delivered, received a reply the same day with an offer of a replacement, no returns required. Looking forward to exploring more of their future scents, super excited for the upcoming passion fruit one, as someone who is extremely obsessed with passion fruit.

It smells like a warm hug from someone you love and loves you back, deeply, profoundly, happily, and for a moment it's just you two in the whole entire world, time stops and you feel safe. For a citrus fragrance, the longevity and sillage are pretty great. It opens with a clean orange and it quickly becomes sweeter. The dry down is a sweet, clean, calm (I would say) musk that projects OK and smells just a little bit like orange. The warmer the weather is, the better it projects, and dare I say it's also quite linear. I love it.

this, to me, is nothing like a juicy orange, or a realistic orange juice. orange crush is a creamy orange, almost like a musky one? my first thought was: this is the way a young teacher, or a serious yet gentle older sister would smell. it's a weird description, i know, but it just smells comforting the same way looking at old videotapes of your mom feels comforting. beautiful scent, definitely musky enough to wear in the fall. didn't expect it from fugazzi, but this to me is angel dust with a slice of orange cake.

Photorealistic orange but done in a warm, fuzzy, and hazy sort of way. It feels like the feeling of having a crush on someone, but turn it into a citrus perfume, hence the fitting name. Love that the citrus here comes off very distinctly orange and not just as unintelligible citrus notes. Nails the bitterness of orange peels in the opening, has the bright muskiness of when it's freshly peeled, and the soft juiciness of it's actual fruit. A lovely take on orange.

An easy breezy citrus + sandalwood moment. A bit of a molecular muskiness from the Iso E Super and amber. Very reminiscent of Molecule 01 + Mandarin since it's a less sweet orange scent that dries down to a creamsicle-like skin scent. I honestly prefer this to some of the more heady and sugary "creamsicle" scents that have come out recently like 7 Virtues Clementine Dream, which I was also fond of. Not the most inventive, but a very pleasant wear overall!

Realistic orange sherbet smelling scent. Light and airy with a slight woody white musk type of drydown. Lasts a long time on clothes - on skin not as much. Smells less unisex and more masculine after it settles but anyone could pull this off. Probably the best most intoxicating orange smelling fragrance I have smelt (aside from LV Afternoon Swim - this is more musky). I enjoy it almost as much as PDM, Creed and LV freshies tbh. Great outdoors scent. 8/10

This opens up with a very realistic orange with the peel and green parts included. This is nice, but is not the part I enjoy the most. After dry down I get a very nice sunscreen type of vibe. And I love it! I can still get the orange but it blends nicely to the creamy base. This is something I have been looking for and want to have for the summer holidays. Later it turns to an orange and sunscreen forwarded musky skin scent. Really lovely!

It's 1984. You are a child, it's the first week of summer vacation at the beach, you waddle through the hot sand up to the snack shack (The Beach boys "California Girls" is playing on a transistor radio) you order an orange soda from a teen that is loudly chewing juicy fruit gum. They hand you a freezing cold waxed cup, you can smell the sweet orange mixing with the salty air . This is Orange Crush. Again, Do not sleep on this house.

A very ‘to yourself fragrance’. This is my favourite in my collection, it’s happiness in a bottle. I can’t describe how, possibly the amber? But I get a nice warm orange in here. So calming, always smelling my wrists, but as someone did say previously, don’t expect to turn heads. This is for yourself for sure. 9.5/10 - addicting realistic orange scent, great for spring/summer and overall very pleasant.

This is just so easy to wear. On its own it is a fizzy orange citrus sherbie opening which dries down a warmer, creamier orange scent. Layer it with some Obvious Une Vanille and presto.... It becomes an orange version of Akro Bake 👌 Edit: layered this with Ingenuous Ginger and it was a huge compliment getter, becoming very similar to a LV inspired scent 😊

I think this is so beautiful, it might be my greatest fragrance find. It’s very nostalgic. At times I smell a similarity to Light Blue and then I smell the original women’s Burberry fragrance, both of which I loved in my youth. Yet it’s different! And lasts hours on my skin. I’m obsessed.

Love, love, love this for summer. A bright mood lifting orangey musk. As other have commented the longevity is terrible. I still bought a full bottle and overspray the heck out of it.

This one is so good I would drink it if that would be possible. So incredibly fresh and very unisex-like. It's not that strong tough so that's a bit of a bummer.

A beautiful citrus. Such a fun and vibrant citrus. Makes you smell citrusy but clean. Very refreshing but bright. Very lovely.

A beautiful fresh orange scent,I like it.

Orange Crush smells exactly like a fresh clean orange. Not syrupy fake orange sweets, not ultra sugary fruit punch nonsense, just an actual refreshing orange. Bright, airy and clean. The ISO E Super gives it this soft woody edge underneath too, though not in a dark masculine way, more airy, floral and slightly feminine. It all comes together really nicely and makes the fragrance feel super fresh and easy to wear. The problem is longevity. The orange fades fairly quickly, because apparently citrus notes are contractually obligated to disappear the second you start enjoying them, and once that freshness dies down the woody ISO E side feels a little underwhelming on its own. Honestly I feel like you would need to carry the bottle around with you all day and spray it relentlessly to keep the magic alive. Which is perfectly fine if you have bottomless pockets. Sadly, I do not 🤷🏼 That being said, this is still quality. Clean, refreshing and very pleasant, just lacking the performance to really justify the price for me. Also, despite being marketed as unisex, I would say this leans more feminine than masculine overall. *Update from future me : Go buy Maison Alhambra Jean Lowe Azure, it lasts about 1-2 hours longer, and costs £22 on Amazon, and gives almost the same vibe, less orange blossom more lemon grass but maybe 80% similar, but definitely the same vibe, it's a copy of Luis Vuitton Afternoon swim and is super safe to blind buy if you like orange 🤷🏼 save the money, this one's a miss.

It opens with a photorealistic burst of freshly squeezed orange juice. Imagine one of those pull-down citrus presses in an espresso bar, squeezing one orange half at a time. After a while, as if you've finished drinking the juice, you're left with the magic of Iso E Super. It develops into a beautiful, warm, dry skin scent. Funny enough, I prefer it on cooler summer days with an overcast sky, when there's not quite enough zest in the weather. It's a beautiful, simple, and fairly linear perfume. Maybe it's a bit too pricey and doesn't last as long as I'd like, especially considering how many excellent citrus fragrances are out there. But ultimately, it's up to you how much you're willing to spend on a freshly squeezed glass of orange juice in a bottle.

I will have to chime in with other reviewers: Poor longevity and sillage. Which is such a shame! This scent is heavenly, a bright and light orange, but in a dewy and sweet way. Slightly powdery but in a creamy way. Never too sweet, never too sour. Fresh and juicy, but never so juicy that you get sticky hands from the orange peel. It is more like candied oranges, or orange flavoured candies. Maybe more mandarin, or tangerine? It smells like those English fruit drops, Taveners. But the perfume itself is light and airy, and that may be why is disappears way too quickly. 3 hours into my wear it is almost non-detectable and I struggle to even smell what it used to be. Again, what a shame...

Pixelated creamsicle musk. Has the same static-y, almost buzzy quality as Angel Dust. A rare plush citrus, much like my beloved Loewe 001 Woman (a downy tangerine) – but much more lively and candy-toned, with a hint of bitter peel in the drydown. Heavyweight longevity, another rarity in the world of citrus. The spa lobby of the Amsterdam W is thick with this, and made my clothes smell of it for days to follow, but I was not in the least displeased. Mental Snapshot: DORFic aesthetics. iPod mini adverts. Neon honeycombs. The Cingular Wireless logo guy. A solarpunk utopia. The grooviest PowerPoint template you can think of. In orange, of course. tl;dr: sci-fi Sunkist 📳🍊

I really don't understand the reviews, saying that this is a more watered down version of valaya. Valaya is so strong on aldehydes, which personally to my taste is sharp and unpleasant. This however, is a very pleasent scent that is very similar to having recently peeled an orange on a warm summer day. It's so nice and light. The longevity and sillage aren't very good and because of this I'm not gonna buy the full size. However, for a light fluffy orange, this is brilliant. Not overpowering and not to screethy, just pure oranges on warm skin. Lovely.

This is not your standard citrus scent. This is ethereal orange, almost flowery; then it turns to light woods. The longevity is quite weak though. It's an unusual take on orange, and I am here for it. Update: I still like stand by my review but I stopped liking sweet scents and got tired of amber, so I no longer rate this scent as "love", I switch it to "like".

Smells like a fresh orange or like an orange juice with ice but the ice had like a fresh, crisp taste. It also reminds me of orange icesicles which is fun! 🍊 The amber is almost invisible in my opinion and only comes out after dry down is complete This is the perfekt smell for hanging out with friends on a summer day. Personally i like it but it's not special.

nice sweet intense orange fragrance with a soft woody background, pretty basic and linear but it's nice, not crazy long lasting though. vs the XDP, I ended up liking this one a bit more, the XDP is still very similar but the citrus is more of a mix so the orange is not as present, and the wood comes out stronger too

Opens with a nice blast of orange citrus which only lasts a few minutes. Dries down to a pleasant scent somewhat in the realm of Fleur Narcotique but softer. It sat close to the skin with a nice scent bubble for about an hour. Longevity was around 5 hours on skin.

On me, this kicks off as a fresh orange. However, it’s not sweet - it feels green and woody. Performance is ok - I maybe get a couple of hours from overspraying it. I like it, but I don’t love it and I wouldn’t venture past the travel sized bottle.

Straight up orange and white musk. Does exactly what it says on the box! Pleasant but nothing revolutionary. A good pick if you like this kind of scent; a crowd-pleaser and office friendly. Surprisingly good sillage. But a bit boring for my tastes.

It's a nice and airy orange with iso e super. It is simple and maybe a bit boring but most people will like it and it projects a nice cloud around you. It's also a little cheaper then the other fugazzi fragrances so that makes up for it.

Imagine you get home at mid-day, it`s hot summer day, you open a fridge and get out fresh, cold oranges. They are so cold and fresh and zesty and that`s exactly what you want and need to get a respite from this hot summer day. Enjoy!

its a really good orange, but it loses its freshness in like 30 minutes and dries down to a subtle skin scent. compared to its succesor its really weak so i would personally recommend getting the extrait version of orange crush.

Nice. Fuzzy musky orange. Opening is fresh. But this isn’t really a refreshing summer perfume in my opinion. It’s musky and comforting and probably better for fall or winter to my nose. Longevity is not great, 2 maybe 3 hours.

It's nice but nothing memorable. Orange Crush smells like a watered down version of Valaya mixed with Light Blue. Very refreshing but there's a sweet plastic smell here that I can detect in most orange forward fragrances.

this is the smell left behind from peeling a fresh orange, and it sits on top of this warm woody note. It’s so refreshing. I could imagine this working well for any season. It’s fresh, warm, and versatile.

Smells like summer. Specifically, the vague musk of perspiration on sunkissed skin. Laying in the grass sharing an orange w/ a new boyfriend...juices dripping...melting skin-on-skin under the sun.

I was surprised that this reminded me so much of light blue. Mild citrus with a woody background note. I didn't find the orange to be too strong. It's pleasant

A fresh sweet orange creamsicle, perfect for summer. Longevity and projection are fine, not invasive, but pleasantly refreshing.

Very beautiful and playful opening. After hours on skin and it only smells like a gummybears, and I'm not sure If I like that.

It’s a clean everyday scent, fresh and easy-going. Maybe it won’t get heads turned, but it’s easy to like.

Wow! The first spray is an intense juicy orange. It actually made me laugh out loud it was so realistic. That lasted about 10 minutes, then all I've been getting is a mellow woody scent. It's not overpowering, I can hardly smell it until I sniff my wrist, but when I do, all I get is wood. Really no amber or sweetness for me at all. I can definitely see how Bal d'Afrique is listed as what people also like. On me, the dry downs are almost identical. Wood. Just wood. Not like I'm at a wood cabin, but more so like someone just handed me some wood shavings. I am a gourmand gal so this is not my jam. I was hoping for a sweet orange skin scent - this is definitely not it. I'd refer to this as more like a handful of wood shavings were in the same room as someone eating an orange. Meh

I loved the initial spray. The orange/citrus smelled so fresh and vibrant. It dries down quickly to something very musky and almost heavy. The beautiful orange note all but disappears. This is a unisex fragrance, but it does lean a little masculine imo. I expected this to be a bright citrus creamsicle scent. It isn't. It smells more like a warm sweater out the dryer. It's not a bad scent at all, but if you're going for a fresh vibrant citrus skin scent, this isn't it. I'm not impressed with this, but I will give it another few wears to see if it grows on me.

I have a sample of this and am skin testing it for the second time. It starts out juicy and vibrant between the orange and the Iso E Super but the drydown is very chemical and sharp to my nose, which I find with most aromachemicals like ambrox, Iso E, cashmeran, etc. It's a lingering stale, chemical, almost antiseptic scent, and I don't like it. I probably won't even finish my sample since I don't really enjoy the experience of wearing this beyond the first hour.

Was expecting a feminine leaning unisex scent with a strong fresh orange accord, but would say this perfume really has nothing of that. To my nose it smells very masculine, and the orange is more of a weak mystery citrus overshadowed by a generic cologne base. It does in no way smell bad, just not what i was expecting based on most of these reviews. Will probably give it to my fiance instead!

Another regrettable buy from an influencer hype :/ I gotta stop getting influenced so easily. It's got a bright citrus opening, but only for the first 5 minutes. Then it's pretty much Iso E super for the next couple hours until it disappears completely. Even the juicy opening isn't as orangey as I would have liked. It's more synthetic, like Aperol Spritz maybe...

Reviewed from a sample. A simple orange-forward fragrance with Iso E Super doing it’s soft woody thing underneath and a vaguely musky note, which could’ve been pushed further to give the composition a tad more heft. As it is it doesn’t amount to anything especially exciting or memorable and has very poor longevity for the price. I’ll pass on this one.
