Passionfroudh

I wasn’t planning to buy this. I wasn’t even planning to make space for it. I went into the store looking for a specific fragrance they didn’t have. Passionfroudh caught my eye almost by accident. I had been curious about something like this, so I sprayed it on my hand. That day I tested around twenty perfumes on paper and one on each hand. From everything I smelled, Passionfroudh stood out immediately. Bolder. Sexier. More confident. It was a cold evening, I was well dressed and suddenly the scent felt perfectly aligned with the moment. I spent nearly two hours exploring fragrances, getting nose blind more than once and stepping outside to reset. Yet Passionfroudh never disappeared. It stayed present the entire time. When I came home, my girlfriend told me it smelled exactly like something she would have chosen for me herself. That confirmed the feeling I already had. Yes, it is loud, but it does not scream. The oud here is incredible. Rich, dense and seductive without becoming aggressive. It is probably the heaviest fragrance in my collection, yet it feels surprisingly wearable. If you have some experience with perfumes, this one stretches your comfort zone in a good way. I tried Oud Maracuja before and admired it, but it always felt like a fragrance I would hesitate to wear. Passionfroudh sits in a similar universe, yet slightly toned down and easier to own. I feel confident wearing it, almost certain I can make people reconsider what an oud fragrance can be. Interestingly, my only previous experience with Fugazzi was Thirsty, which remains one of my least favorite fragrances in my collection. I later tried Goudh as well and it wasn’t for me either. This one completely changed my perception of the brand. I plan to wear it until the weather becomes too warm for it, and I’ll revisit this review again after more time together. Ps. For now, I feel 50ml bottle is more than enough.

EN. Passionfroudh feels like stepping into a old film scene set in Rio at dusk — where the sky melts from gold to crimson and the air trembles with music and unbridled sexuality. The opening bursts like sunlight refracted through tropical fruit: passionfruit and mango drip with juiciness, instantly pulling you into their rhythm. Ginger flickers around them like sparks, while black tea adds the dark, quiet heartbeat of a deeper story. As the perfume moves forward, the plot thickens: black pepper and gurjun balsam glow like embers beneath the surface - intoxicating, resinous, cinematic. And then the base arrives: a swirl of Oudh Assafi and cypriol, smoky yet refined, like a velvet shadow cast by a burning sunset. Passionfroudh is the scent of bare skin after a swim in warm ocean water, of neon lights reflecting on wet pavement, of a night that feels infinite. It’s sensual, tropical, smoky — a duality that makes it magnetic. IT. Passionfroudh mi ricorda una scena di un vecchio film ambientato a Rio al tramonto, quando il cielo si incendia di rosso e oro e l’aria vibra di musica e sessualità sfrenata. L’apertura è un’esplosione di luce tropicale: il frutto della passione e il mango colano come nettare luminoso, avvolti dalle scintille dello zenzero. Il tè nero aggiunge un battito profondo, quasi narrativo, come la voce fuori campo di una storia intensa. Poi la fragranza si addensa: il pepe nero e il balsamo di gurjun ardono come braci sotto la pelle - resinosi, avvolgenti, irresistibili. Infine arriva il fondo: Oudh Assafi e cypriol creano una scia fumosa ma vellutata, come un’ombra elegante proiettata da un sole morente. Passionfroudh è il profumo della pelle salata dopo il tuffo nel mare, delle luci al neon riflesse sulla strada bagnata, di una notte che non vuole finire. Tropicale, sensuale, misterioso.

THIS is the one, absolute stunner and a magnificent piece of work from Ilias Ermenidis! It's very reminiscent of Borntostandout Black Mango, but I'd wager even better. A very western Oud undertone, therefore more musky and linear - but it's great, especially for people who find oud animalic or too dark and sappy. - ⌛Longevity 10/10 = 2-3 days ON SKIN, which is wild - 🍃Sillage 8/10 = Leaves a nice trail, and radiates extremely well from pulsepoints - 🕜Drydown 9/10 = Downright magical, very warm with a little sweetness, my fiancé keeps sniffing my arm. - 🗣️Comments from friends 7/10 = Ranging from "that's good" to "that's very nice!", seems as if men reacts to it more than women, maybe because of the agarwood? - 💰Price 6/10 = Not the best not the worst, but the 50ml is worth a pick up. - 👃🏼Overall scent = 8/10 Score = 8/10, will buy again. I'm a very critical person when it comes to oud, but this one is blended so nicely and almost creamy so it works. Don't listen to Hassankhalid91, he wrote his review late at night and was probably just tired or something :D

Ive never had the chance to try Oud maracujá but i am familiar with an inspired fragrance called Itqan gold i only bring this up is because it’s supposed to be OM without the note of Leather and as soon as i smelled Passionfroudh they smelled so similar but with an added note of mango and ginger so before i got a full bottle i took mango bliss and itqan gold and layered something so amazing it had solidified my curiosity on passionfroudh i needed to get it and i did and honestly i love it even after i experience the same as another reviewer of this fragrance begging to smell like vomit its honestly shocking and only happened to me on a humid day hopefully no one else at my job had to endure that Passion fruit so juicy Oud soft but known Mango present from opening with pink pepper till end Wish I had picked up more on the black tea but thats fine its still a super awesome and amazing fragrance 9/10

I tried this on last year in the summer months and I am not sure if the tester bottle was off or the heat made it smell like someone has puked out passionfruit. HOWEVER, gave it another chance a week ago (November) and oh my.. it is stunning. No puke smell, but a sharp, long lasting with a hint of sweetness scent that I just fell in love with. I do think it's expensive like a lot of gourmand perfumes so I did find someone selling it online for a way cheaper price but will definitely add this on my xmas/birthday list. One thing is that after it's worn for some time the sweetness is completely gone and turns deeper (like fermented woody oudy fruit) which is fine but not what it is initially. Scent: 7.8/10 Lasting power: 8/10
