Passionfroudh

I wasn’t planning to buy this. I wasn’t even planning to make space for it. I went into the store looking for a specific fragrance they didn’t have. Passionfroudh caught my eye almost by accident. I had been curious about something like this, so I sprayed it on my hand. That day I tested around twenty perfumes on paper and one on each hand. From everything I smelled, Passionfroudh stood out immediately. Bolder. Sexier. More confident. It was a cold evening, I was well dressed and suddenly the scent felt perfectly aligned with the moment. I spent nearly two hours exploring fragrances, getting nose blind more than once and stepping outside to reset. Yet Passionfroudh never disappeared. It stayed present the entire time. When I came home, my girlfriend told me it smelled exactly like something she would have chosen for me herself. That confirmed the feeling I already had. Yes, it is loud, but it does not scream. The oud here is incredible. Rich, dense and seductive without becoming aggressive. It is probably the heaviest fragrance in my collection, yet it feels surprisingly wearable. If you have some experience with perfumes, this one stretches your comfort zone in a good way. I tried Oud Maracuja before and admired it, but it always felt like a fragrance I would hesitate to wear. Passionfroudh sits in a similar universe, yet slightly toned down and easier to own. I feel confident wearing it, almost certain I can make people reconsider what an oud fragrance can be. Interestingly, my only previous experience with Fugazzi was Thirsty, which remains one of my least favorite fragrances in my collection. I later tried Goudh as well and it wasn’t for me either. This one completely changed my perception of the brand. I plan to wear it until the weather becomes too warm for it, and I’ll revisit this review again after more time together. Ps. For now, I feel 50ml bottle is more than enough.

EN. Passionfroudh feels like stepping into a old film scene set in Rio at dusk — where the sky melts from gold to crimson and the air trembles with music and unbridled sexuality. The opening bursts like sunlight refracted through tropical fruit: passionfruit and mango drip with juiciness, instantly pulling you into their rhythm. Ginger flickers around them like sparks, while black tea adds the dark, quiet heartbeat of a deeper story. As the perfume moves forward, the plot thickens: black pepper and gurjun balsam glow like embers beneath the surface - intoxicating, resinous, cinematic. And then the base arrives: a swirl of Oudh Assafi and cypriol, smoky yet refined, like a velvet shadow cast by a burning sunset. Passionfroudh is the scent of bare skin after a swim in warm ocean water, of neon lights reflecting on wet pavement, of a night that feels infinite. It’s sensual, tropical, smoky — a duality that makes it magnetic. IT. THIS is the one, absolute stunner and a magnificent piece of work from Ilias Ermenidis! It's very reminiscent of Borntostandout Black Mango, but I'd wager even better. A very western Oud undertone, therefore more musky and linear - but it's great, especially for people who find oud animalic or too dark and sappy. - ⌛Longevity 10/10 = 2-3 days ON SKIN, which is wild - 🍃Sillage 8/10 = Leaves a nice trail, and radiates extremely well from pulsepoints - 🕜Drydown 9/10 = Downright magical, very warm with a little sweetness, my fiancé keeps sniffing my arm. - 🗣️Comments from friends 7/10 = Ranging from "that's good" to "that's very nice!", seems as if men reacts to it more than women, maybe because of the agarwood? - 💰Price 6/10 = Not the best not the worst, but the 50ml is worth a pick up. - 👃🏼Overall scent = 8/10 Score = 8/10, will buy again. I'm a very critical person when it comes to oud, but this one is blended so nicely and almost creamy so it works. Don't listen to Hassankhalid91, he wrote his review late at night and was probably just tired or something :D

Ive never had the chance to try Oud maracujá but i am familiar with an inspired fragrance called Itqan gold i only bring this up is because it’s supposed to be OM without the note of Leather and as soon as i smelled Passionfroudh they smelled so similar but with an added note of mango and ginger so before i got a full bottle i took mango bliss and itqan gold and layered something so amazing it had solidified my curiosity on passionfroudh i needed to get it and i did and honestly i love it even after i experience the same as another reviewer of this fragrance begging to smell like vomit its honestly shocking and only happened to me on a humid day hopefully no one else at my job had to endure that Passion fruit so juicy Oud soft but known Mango present from opening with pink pepper till end Wish I had picked up more on the black tea but thats fine its still a super awesome and amazing fragrance 9/10

I tried this on last year in the summer months and I am not sure if the tester bottle was off or the heat made it smell like someone has puked out passionfruit. HOWEVER, gave it another chance a week ago (November) and oh my.. it is stunning. No puke smell, but a sharp, long lasting with a hint of sweetness scent that I just fell in love with. I do think it's expensive like a lot of gourmand perfumes so I did find someone selling it online for a way cheaper price but will definitely add this on my xmas/birthday list. One thing is that after it's worn for some time the sweetness is completely gone and turns deeper (like fermented woody oudy fruit) which is fine but not what it is initially. Scent: 7.8/10 Lasting power: 8/10

If you're not into oud, then I can see this not being for you. However, if you do like it and have smelled and enjoyed LV's Ombre Nomad, this might be the fragrance for you if you don't want to give up an arm and a leg. Although the difference between this and Ombre Nomad is in the supporting note, this one features passion fruit (which I only slightly picked up from the spray), whereas Ombre Nomad has rose. I've read some reviews on here and have seen comparisons to Maison Crivelli's Oud Maracuja, but I personally haven't had the chance to smell that, so I have no say on their similarities. Definitely not a daily fragrance, but this can definitely be the one you wear on some really fancy occasions.

Starts of with a strong passionfruit/oud opening, much resembling oud maracuja but a little sweeter and not so screeching loud (and yes I have both). But as Oud Maracuja is linear, Passionfroudh turns into an more Black tea/smoky/fig(!) like scent, very pleasant. Honestly I dislike the “safe minimalistic unisex” style of fugazzi, so I am well shocked I don’t just like this but LOVE I actually like using this one more as Oud Maracuja as it is more versatile, even for summer. It has good longevity and sillage without being disturbing to others... And the DNA is known to perfume lovers yes, but to general people that only know some designers this is a real stunner. Try it, really worth it

Went in expecting this to lean sweet and fruity given the name, but Passionfroudh opens with a big hit of smoke and leather instead, with oudh and black pepper following close behind. Nothing tropical or candy-like about it at all in those first minutes. Only as the day goes on does a note of mango and passionfruit start to surface on my skin, and even then it stays subtle, more of an undertone than something that takes over. Keeps the whole thing feeling controlled rather than loud.

This is how you make a tropical OUD fragrance, so much better than Leather Maracuja. Performs like I'd expect for an extrait and projects surprisingly very well. Got told this isn't bad by a friend who hates oud, for me it's pretty tame. Ok so it does smell like a tropical juice that's been cooking in the sun or an overripe bowl of passionfruit and mangos but I'm telling you, try it. Wear this and smell like you come from oil money. A summer banger and yes, summer.

My first foray into a fugazzi fragrance and im more than pleasantly surprised. Its fruity wood done well. Can lean on the synthetic side a bit much in the opening and at times there was an strange initial opening smell but that didn't last very long and will probably differ from person to person. There's almost hints of vanilla at times. If you like oud/wood you won't be disappointed and its fairly well priced. It could also be worn most of the year as well

Very wearable Leathery oud , even in heat. Marigold and rose arnt in these listed notes. They come out louder than the fruits. The fruit and florals bring a touch of sweetness, peeking behind the heavier leather and woods. Dont expect a tropical bomb. To me this is more similar to Nouveau Monde than the obvios Oud Maracuja comparisons. Performance and longevity is top end but not offensive. 12 hours +

Imo a better version of oud maracuja, i have both and i like this more. It is more fruity with oud in the background while oud maracuja is more oud/leathery with a touch of maracuja. Both are great dont get me wrong, but this one is way more mass appealing and more interesting. Great performance, longevity and projection is immaculate. Overall 9/10

I bought of a sample of Passionfroudh because of the reviews saying it was very safe oud and they were not wrong. this fragrance completely changed my thoughts on oud. it was so good that i had to buy a full bottle. passion fruit and oud. i wish the passionfruit lasted a lot longer than it does because the first 15 minutes is heavely.

Smells exactly like Oud Maracuja. That being said I never owned Oud Maracuja, whether that’s due to price or its nuclear projection. I am happy to own Passionfroudh instead, as a cheaper and less masculine alternative. As a woman I enjoy it in small dozes, in summer, on my jacket (too strong to wear indoor) and for layering 👍

This is so good like a beginner oud fragrance. As someone who tried oud Maruja and Did not like it was too animatic for me, this is perfect. Tried it at the store could not stop smelling it. The smell I could not stop thinking about and at end I bought it. Amazing projection and longevity. This a master piece

This’s Oud Maracuja toned down! Yes! I know OM does not have real Oud, that will be Dubai Bortnikoff, but Passionfroudh is a 1 to 1 interpretation of OM. Same smell, with nuclear projection and lasts forever, but safer, more friendly, perfect for office or close environments. 8.7 out of 10.

got this for free with some other perfumes. very interesting almost rum-y feeling to it in a way i can't really explain. feels very warm and burnt but still fruity. it doesn't feel like an oud perfume, which i like, and which i say as an arab, who is constantly surrounded by oud scents

This lasted on my skin for eighteen hours through the night and was stronger still than Maison Margiela by the fireplace when freshly applied on top, lasted through the gym and work etc only came off after a shower, crazy. Beautiful smell too

Fantastic. Fugazzi keeps putting out bold fragrances, that sometimes are recognizable profiles but that feel much more young and fresh than others. High quality, bold and fun. Oud maracuja feels very serious and rough in comparison.

This perfume is crazy. I sprayed it on a test strip and left it in my room and my whole bedroom smelled like it for 3 days. Mind you it wasn’t even on my skin. At that point the test strip basically became an air freshener

Very nice fragrance!I love it!Very similar to Maison Crivelli Oud Maracuja,but is a bit fresher and not too heavy.The perfume is good for all seasons,but in the summer for the nights and the performance is very good!

Refreshing, fruity oud scent. Wearing it at night in the FL summer and it works well. Curious to see how it lines up with oud maracuja, but this scent is a must try for oud lovers in my book!

Alright Im coming back to review this because when you go a little harder with the sprays even tho it's strong it actually gets better! Few sprays == more oud smokey More sprays == tropical

This is so good, the oud just smells so nice and pleasant. It's not overly sweet. Also has great projection and longevity. dont need too many sprays. 50ml is all you need tbh

I love it! I'm not friends oud fragrances yet but this one I like. Great combination of Fruity notes plus oud. Lasts a really long time. Great for the colder weather.

This is one my favorites. I thought Vulcan feu kind of DNA made this one redundant but after trying I few mango fragrances so far and this one stands out.

Amazing perfume niche quality juice on my skin doesn’t last that long but very good projection and sillage 9/10

Passionfroudh is intense, no joke!!! As soon as I have sprayed it on my wrist it hit me in the face with a pungent fruity oud, which gets tamer as the times go by. And it’s a unique scent (to me/my collection) which is quite refreshing, trying a new perfume that is not smelling like ten other perfumes I already own... In order to like this, you need to like oud/woods and tropical fruits, otherwise stay away. Notes like tea, ginger and pepper are in the very much in the background, Passionfroudh is all about oud, passion fruit, mango and cypriol. Mainly a cold weather perfume and hinting more towards masculine demographic, dark and rich. The sweetness coming from the fruits brings some balance, but it’s more oud/woods than tropical fruits in my experience. Also, the campaign images is quite misleading IMO. It’s making me think of a fun, warm weather, more light perfume than it actually is. Personally, I wouldn’t wear Passionfroudh in the summer heat even though it has a tropical feel because it’s too intense and I would suffocate myself. I think I would like smelling this more on my husband than on me. It’s a great, long lasting, good projecting fragrance, to be honest. I do like it, but I don’t love it. My travel size would do it for me when I’m in the mood for something like this.

Let me start this review off by saying that Oud Maracuja is my favorite fragrance so I thought this would clearly be redundant to own. On top of that i haven't found anything from the brand that ice sampled to be worth picking up. I suppose I shouldn't be surprised that i like this so much since it shares DNA with Oud Maracuja. This deserves a higher score, yes some will see it as a copy but it's also a way of making a lighter and more accessible version of OM. If Oud Maracujá draws comparison to Ombre Nomade for you, Passionfroudh feels like Nouveau Monde. I get a nice opening of passionfruit in the beginning and some hints of mango. The passionfruit is much less sour than in OM and mixes with the mango quite well. If OM is too thick this is a less viscous tea version of it with a bit of mango thrown in. I really like this, a light alternative to OM that can be warn when OM can't. Personally I still find myself wearing OM during summer and cool nights because I love it that much. Being that I own two bottles of Oud Maracuja would adding this to my cleck make sense? I think I will end up picking this up at some point. If you can envision this as it's own scent than it can be indeed be enjoyed alongside OM. For me it's a passionfruit-mango tea with oud burning in the background.

Como aroma es rico pero dado que hay otros dos perfumes con las mismas notas o al menos en el aire son idénticos déjame decirte que este sería mi última opción. Depende mucho lo que elijas, por ejemplo. Oud Maracuja sale con una Maracuja que dura aproximadamente 15 min, después de eso, se mezcla con el oud qué da la sensación de cuero, entonces es eso para mi, Maracuja y cuero bien mezclado en donde predomina el oud, se convierte en un aroma varonil. Duración eterna Azzure Aoud: Abre con Maracuja jugosa y algo ácida y posteriormente se mezcla con el oud qué en realidad solo le da un poco de cuerpo para que no sea tan simple el aroma aunque es bastante lineal pero rico, es un poco más llevable qué oud maracuja dado que el oud esta más sensurado pasando a segundo término. Duración decentemente buena. Passionfroudh: Percibo una salida parecida a Azzure Aoud pero más refinada y con menor fuerza, se con siente mayor calidad los ingredientes pero el perfume se siente bastante débil. De los tres que acabo de mencionar es el más ligero y en cierto momento me da una vibra un poco unisex y por lo tanto esta fuera de mi lista. Duración media-baja En conclusión si tienes el dinero ve por Oud maracuja y si quieres disfrutar de este aroma a un bajo costo recomiendo adquirir Azzure aoud.

Firstly, I would like to say that I received this as a free sample, and this is not one I would pick up on my own mostly because I don’t really like oud fragrances that much. But this is way better than anticipated, but there is still that oud note in the top that I don’t really care for. Still, the top is good and it has that tropical tea vibe that I could enjoy. On my skin it is a slightly different perfume. It still has that tropical tea scent to it, and that mango passionfruit profile is heavenly. It is a hundred times better than ‘Black Mango’ from BTSO which I really hated, and maybe it is the passionfruit that really saves this with its sour twist, because I loved ‘Black Guava’ and that should be enough to tell me that I can like oud scents if it is in the right company of notes. Though, I smell that distinctive oud in the bottom but it is almost more like a patchouli. That green and wet note, almost like a damp soil. In summary, pretty positively surprised that I enjoy this!

The bitterness of black tea, the sharpness of ginger and cypriol, unfortunately mango or passionfruit does not appear specifically on me not at all, instead I get tobacco and leather. What goes through the whole scent though and in the first fifteen minutes takes your breath away is salty sharp blue cheese. A dominant more male scent that only more expressive women could probably handle, a long-lasting strong lingering odour. Not bad, not entirely unique - I have a strong feeling that I have smelled it a few years back, but can not pinpoint it to specific manufacturer...

Wouldn't call this fruity; but I would call it pretty interesting. The passionfruit in this one only lasts for just a moment before the oudy, powderiness punches you in your sinuses. As much as I don't mind that baby powderish drydown, I really do wish that the passionfruit had stayed in throughout the scent. I will say 7.5/10 so far until I get a good wear test out of it; but I like it so far.

Good lord, literally one spray the wrist 24hrs ago and it’s still there. I love strong fragrance and this is a beast. I don’t get much fruit of any sort, maybe a bit at the first pouff but then it stays super OUD and settles like that, softening, with the tea. It’s one of the strongest perfumes I’ve tried in years and there are countless. It’s stunning, but you’ve got to like oud ...oh and tea

Initial spray on my skin is very oud forward focused with the passionfruit and mango combo lurking in the background. Then the oud and peppery accords start to soften and the passionfruit becomes the star. The tea also lingers without being too prominent but can’t really detect any ginger. Lasts at least 4-5 hours before becoming a skin scent. Great blind buy

A really nice fruity oud. Not too skanky, not too rough, not too unwearable. I wore a full sample bottle to trial it out. It lasted a couple of hours on me - I don’t think it’s eternal, like I’m seeing in the votes. It’s a bit too masculine for me to invest in a full bottle, but I think the smoky, fruity, juiciness would be great on others.

I haven’t personally smelled Oud Maracuja, but this reminds me of scents like Ombré Nomade and Nishane Mana. That said, this one is much more wearable and toned down. If you already own either of those fragrances, this might feel redundant though it is definitely a more affordable option. I rate this a 8.5/10

Absolutely delicious. the tea note is incredibly prominent to my nose and it lasts absolutely forever on skin and even longer on clothes. Would definitely recommend if you enjoy perfume with that 'beast mode' performance, but with a more nuanced and refined scent.

yes its similar to oud maracuja, perhaps a bit more light and less heavy to wear but its quite lovely. tropical fruits and oud mix well because they add a more unusual flavor, color compared to the standard rose oud, spice oud, vanilla oud

A strong like. To my nose, it's as if someone layered Amouage Jubilation and Stephane Humbert Lucas God of Fire and came up with something better. Gotta go easy on the trigger with this one or you could fill up a room.

I really enjoyed this one the passion fruit is juicy and vibrant while the oud adds a deeper slightly earthy character it feels tropical but not overly sweet and has a unique addictive quality

Sprayed this on a sweatshirt two weeks ago while at the airport and the scent still hasn’t left. One of the safest and most enjoyable oud fragrances I’ve tried. Probably grabbing a bottle.

I really couldn’t tolerate Oud Maracuja — for me, it was a difficult fragrance to wear and carry on my skin. This fragrance has also been compared to it because of the passion fruit and oud combination, but in my opinion, this one is lighter and much more wearable than Maracuja, and I liked it a lot more. The oud isn’t too intense, dirty, or disturbing. The passion fruit is beautifully blended with mango and tea, creating a tropical oud fragrance. The performance is extremely good, I’ll give it another try when winter arrives. If I feel the same way then, I’m considering buying it. Update: I had the chance to test it a few more times, and the more I did, the less interested I became in buying it. First of all, I’ve come to realize that I simply don’t like this DNA. Just because it’s more wearable than Maracuja isn’t a good enough reason for me to buy it. I already have winter fragrances that I enjoy wearing much more, and I’ve come to understand that this one just isn’t for me.

I wanted to like this so badly, but it's not what I hoped for at all. Yes, it smells like passionfruit - but that scent is wholly overpowered by a sweet, rose-and-mango-like one. That makes the fragrance smell way more generic than it could've been. Also, the oudh doesn't really shine through, which makes the fragrance just a sweet, feminine candy smell. The tea/ginger/pepper smells go beyond me, I have no idea where people smell those. I understand the hype and I have to give credits to Fugazzi for doing their marketing very well - but I would highly recommend trying a tester of Maison Crivelli's Oud Maracuja before you buy this one. Especially if you're in the market for a more 'masculine' fragrance. That one will last literally 'forever until you wash your clothes'. It contains more oudh, more depth, more warmth and it's way less candylike.
