#62 of My Fragrance Journey - Sugardaddy by Fugazzi: A Sugar Rush with a Spicy Twist The name pulled me in straight away. Sugardaddy. I knew I wanted whatever that fantasy was selling. And honestly? I’m sure about it - both the name and the scent. They match. They commit. It opens loud. No easing in. Just sugar - thick, sticky, almost fluorescent. Tangerine and black currant exploding like a candy spill under club lights. It’s playful, borderline obnoxious, and kind of thrilling. If you’re waiting for a polite citrus moment... don’t. This is pure dopamine, straight to the nose. Then - about half an hour later - the sweetness tightens. Darkens. Clove and nutmeg push through, dry and almost medicinal, like an old apothecary hiding behind the candy shop. It’s a weird pivot. Jarring, even. But also... smart? The flirt turns serious. The smile drops. You start listening differently. The dry-down is where it finally exhales. Cashmeran, ambergris, soft musky warmth. Sugar, but melted into skin. Fuzzy. Intimate. I’ve caught traces of it the next morning - on sheets, on clothes. It lasts forever (easily 10+ hours), though after the first few it stops projecting and stays close. Personal. Almost tender. I’ll admit it - sweet scents like this are everywhere right now, and I’m tired of most of them. But this one earns its place. The transition is bold. Risky. On the wrong skin, those spices could go cloying or medicinal fast. Definitely not a blind buy. But when it works? It really works. Modern, nostalgic, loud, soft. A bit unhinged. A bit addictive. This smells lovely. The only way I can describe this fragrance: it smells like the colour pink. (Even though the liquid from the bottle I tried was clear!) it really just smells like the colour pink somehow! To be honest I don’t get many notes listed, I think maybe because it’s just blended so well ! The black currant note definitely makes sense though - I can get that ! This is a pretty cosy scent - I would probably be more drawn to wear it in winter/ autumn or on a cool spring/ summer evening ! (Or even a cooler spring/ summer day) so still quite versatile. I do think this leans slightly feminine, but I’m a guy and I think it suits me and would wear it ! (I think the feminine touch to it is what draws me to it too!) and would also been keen to share it with my girlfriend! It does have a teeny synthetic quality to it, but it still smells great ! I think you definitely don’t need to overspray this one! Also after I tried it in store, I went to another shop maybe half an hour later and the girl at the counter said I smell nice and asked what I was wearing! I mean that’s a pretty good sign, right ? Performance is really really good, I get at least 9 hours on skin! This definitely feels like a fun fragrance - it encapsulates the whole vibe I think Fugazzi is going for. (Also this smells so much better on my skin than on the tester strip! There was a kind of sharp herbal type smell I got on the tester strip at one point - I think it may be that the cloves note overpowered on paper for a bit?) anyway ! I love it!

Smells like a fun workplace crush. This is the fragrance is you would wear out after work to an office party you actually want to be going to. Staying professional but knowing you can let your hair down a bit, and let yourself draw some special attention. You choose to put on a crisp white shirt, but take a cashmere sweater on top, staying clean cut and put together, but secretly hoping for the soft touch of that person who you caught looking at you one too many times. It's the perfect balance of alluring - a little warm and a little sweet spiced, with a hidden woody note, but still fresh - citrusy, clean, and upbeat. The tangerine and blackcurrant balance out eachother's sweet and sour perfectly, creating a fresh scent with a sweetness that's hard to place, that the warm spice perfectly plays in to. The perfect flirt means you know they're flirting, but can't prove it. This fragrance embodies that sensation in a scent. An extremely versatile day to night, with good longevity and sillage, and an unexpected addition to my collection. I came across it while out and about and ordered it immediately as I got home, and have gotten plenty of wears out of it since.

This is a very happy but in the same time sexy scent! Bright, playful, it smells like the colour pink, i truly love Sugardaddy! It’s very long lasting, on skin it lasts for like 10 hours with strong projection, and then it starts to fade but really slow, i can smell it on me on the next day after 1-2 showers. And on clothes it lasts for ages, until you wash them. I enjoy that DNA of Baccarat Rouge that is present in this perfume, but it’s not like Baccarat at all, it’s more fruity, sweet and strong, i can detect the blackcurrant, tangerine and nutmeg so easy...I love spices, and this one it is a very good fruity-spiced masterpiece. I associate this with winter and Christmas, but it’s an all year rounder, it will go very well in spring and fall too, and maybe even in summer, but not in the heat.

This is such a beautiful and intersting fragrance, probably my second favorite from Fugazzi after Workaholic. Spiced up tangerine, soft jasmine and ambergris. Initially it felt like a candy shop blast, where the candy aspect is the candy floss type sweetness as in BR540, but!! While I can not wear and bear BR540, here some interesting things happen: there is a lot of nutmeg and cloves and they make the tangerine appear as almost dried Christmas orange slice-that dense, dry, sweetened citrus. Yet, I wouldn't call it Christmas cookie or Christmas-y scent. It's decadent, if it has to be an image of something, it would be an over the top cocktail in orange-red-yellow layers, with dried fruit slices, lots of spices sprinkled on top, bright colors and sugar-rimmed glass.
