Vanilla Haze

It starts as a heavy, clean vanilla with nutty, musky overtones. The muskiness reminds me of a wet fabric, like heavy, warm wool. I would definitely say it's more of a strong vanilla at first, not light and airy, at least if you smell it up close - but it has a lighter, more gourmand and enticing aura that it also ages into on the skin beautifully. A heavy and sickly (I say this in a positive way) sweetness that reminds most of caramel. It is indeed like caramel. It's a thick, heady sweetness. The title "Haze" is perfect as it feels like being literally in a "vanilla haze." Despite the heavy caramel notes, I don't find it to be overly edible or synthetic smelling at all - it is more musky and earthy. I sense some almond in the nutty, earthiness of it. It ages into a sweet, light caramel vanilla (more gourmand in the traditional sense) that I absolutely love. It lingers well on my skin and clothing for hours upon hours. It's always a delight getting a whiff of myself before bed after putting this on in the morning. It's the kind of smell I want to bury my nose into, like fresh angel food cake. Subtle and sweet... also, to me it smells like Lush Super Milk after it ages on the skin, but a bit heavier and without the citrus notes that super milk has. In a way I can't quite pinpoint, it is less gourmand as well (Super Milk will literally smell like oatmeal cookies and make me hungry as I'm wearing it). As someone who likes both, I don't really see the Bianco Latte similarities beyond their listed notes.

this is my favorite perfume right now--let me explain. there is a surprising, odd-but-pretty opening: a strong whiff of cool, vanilla mint. evokes the sweetest girl at the dentist's office, inappropriately dressed receptionist, white laminate floor tiles and toothpaste. synthetic freshness mixed-in with the gourmand elements. auntie anne's cinnamon sugar pretzels at the indoor mall. mannequins and junior mints, hard plastic lawn chairs. old fashioned powdered donuts and the 2006 iMac G5. i can't explain why i enjoy this strange and brief opening so much, i just do. BUT THEN that all fades away into a more universally appealing light custard, tonka cream, doughy vanilla! it's cinnamon sugar brioche with a really refined, elegant cashmere woodsiness. it's like bianco latte's rich, scandinavian (slightly more mature) cousin; it has the same milk-and-sugar DNA, but not as chokingly, imposingly honey-coumarin sweet. this is pure sugar donut in the foreground, vague coconut milk in the background, all the mint from before is gone. i absolutely love this. you just have to be amenable to the orbit sweet mint gum opening, which i obviously am.

Immediately I get a medicinal almost cool take on Tonka - it has a "Band-Aid" or plaster smell that I get when others say "Tonka bean + nuts" - in this example it is hazelnut. I love this phase. I was afraid Vanilla Haze would be a juvenile smelling vanilla cookie but instead it has these strange elements that at first are quite disparate - Bandage/nut/vanilla/slight smoke and leather aspects of the tonka bean. About a half hour in it sweetens and softens a bit - I get the caramel, cashmere and musk aspects - fuzzy warm milky musk. Still not a straight up vanilla gourmand. It is definitely perfume - I don't find a single aspect of this to smell "edible" but it definitely exudes a sexiness caramel+white amber+ musk can have. I really wanted more mandarine, jasmine and coconut. IF those start to shine through, I will come back to this review for an update. It reminds me of a "perfume" version of Alkemia's Ghost Fire but without my beloved salty aquatic aspects of Alkemia's Ghost Fire.

Okay to start, I’ve had my bottle of Bianco Latte sitting for a few months because it just has this burnt tire smell to it that doesn’t mesh with me (and I’m hoping it’ll grow 💔), so I was kinda nervous when I saw the comparisons. My brain is kind of glitching out because the minute I sprayed this on my skin, it really did smell like BL immediately...but without that rubber smell. They have some big distinctions that stop them from being totally alike; BL is THICCCC, while imo, Vanilla Haze is so, sooo much softer and lighter on me. It’s this comforting, warm, soft creamy vanilla. Someone said it reminded them of Dulce and I definitely agree! But I would even go as far as to say this is a batter version of that (and I love Dulce!) Really torn between saying it reminds me of warm, vanilla ice cream (with an hint of chocolate) and crème brûlée. The longer it sits on my skin, the more obsessed I get with it.

this perfume doesn't try to be anything it isnt , it is vanilla . exactly as advertised. it is a VERY VERY VERY good vanilla . if you want vanilla and have the money you will not be going wrong here it almost smells candleish, in that it registers much higher in the nose , in a good way . it has a nice airiness to it that makes it a bit more mature . its a very lovely high quality vanilla with a nice little unmentioned mintiness. it smells...cool. like literally temperature cool, and for that reason it conjures images of icecream, but there's also that little creme brulee moment that makes it smell toasted. love it . its sophisticated without lacking the simple pleasure of vanilla. why fix what isn't broken? vanilla is not broken and it never will be. this perfume will never be broken either. it also projects very nice, you will get compliments . and it lingers Rather well i dont regret, so good

I really cannot figure out the reviews about this being in the vein of BL or any other of its dupes. I know that each nose is different, but are we really smelling the same thing? Vanilla Haze is an airy, vanillic, slightly milky fragrance with a nutty, woody base and a very much perceivable anisic note at all three stages. It's not just the Tonka bean, or whatever coumarin you may name it (which I love, btw). I definitely perceive anise in this perfume. Actually, this is what I was hoping Vanilla & Anise by Jo Malone would smell like. Anyhow: this fragrance is a great layering companion (and performance booster) to my beloved Acqua di Parma Blu Mediterraneo Mandorlo di Sicilia, which is THE perfect almond gourmand perfume, but so terribly faint and poor performing. I paired the two and I am daydreaming in my almonds' paradise bliss. Don't wake me up! 8/10 for this nice perfume.

I freaking adore this fragrance. What can I say? I love the opening - airy, sheer mandarin and almondy cloud intertwined with a sheer vanillic band-aid smell - this strange medicinal aspect that I LOVE by the way, transforms into a fatty custard like vanilla - I am not getting any straight up coconut but I believe that this is the note that is lending the custardy fattiness to the vanilla. Along the edge is the crispy caramelized sugar topping but it really is just along the edge. I detect the mandarin through every stage and it works to keep the composition bright and fresh. It never veers into cloying territory which has turned me off of so many of the other fragrances that I see Vanilla Haze being compared to in other reviews here. Longevity is outstanding on fabric and definitely 8-12 hours on skin.

i liked this immediately, maybe even loved it immediately! it is a strong vanilla but not a generic one, there is something about it that feels really unique. this might be my favourite vanilla so far, i realllllly love this scent >_< it is warm and really alluring. i do get the coconut note, it is subtle but definitely there and adds this creaminess to the vanilla that i really appreciate. usually coconut can overpower everything else for me, but here it actually lifts the vanilla in a really nice way. it honestly feels like such a perfect bedtime scent. i would love to wear this to bed and just fall asleep wrapped in it, it feels so warm and cozy but also a little luxurious at the same time

Great everyday fragrance for cosy, sweet, vanilla lovers. The sweetness is not overpowering, I find it soft, in the best way possible. I also do not sense the mint note that others are referring to, perhaps it depends on the skin chemistry. Exceptional customer service as well - I had an issue with the bottle that was delivered, received a reply the same day with an offer of a replacement, no returns required. Their store in Amsterdam is beautiful! Tried the Orange Crush fragrance there and will definitely buy it for summer. Looking forward to exploring more of their future scents, super excited for the upcoming passion fruit one, as someone who is extremely obsessed with passion fruit.

THIS IS MY BEST VANILLA An earthy vanilla would be my best description. Bianco latte was my favorite vanilla before this, but I would say this sets apart in a good way given that 1. On first spray its not heavy on alcohol like bianco latte, its non sharp on the opening 2. I know its not listed but it has a fresh mint note there that makes it truly angelical This literally smells like a realistic vanilla ice cream, almost like you are not wearing perfume, but you smell incredibly delicious, Fugazzi stuff of course But yeah bianco latte projects way stronger and yes, last longer If this can get better projection and duration omg would be the absolute queen of vanilla

Very much like Bianco latte, but slightly better. Not synthetic in the opening like Bianco latte and little less thick than Bianco Latte. I can slightly smell the coconut, but it's more in the background. I put both this one and Bianco Latte on opposite hands and they are very similar. When smelling one hand and after that the other I could barely smell a difference. However I think that's due to noseblindness, because they are different. When trying to decide which one you like more I suggest trying them on different days. If you already have one in your collection I wouldn't buy the other one, but if I had to pick one for myself I'd choose Vanilla Haze.

I’m approaching Vanilla Haze from the perspective of a vanilla hunter, always trying to find the one perfect vanilla that doesn’t do too much or too little. Vanilla Haze is the Goldilocks of vanillas. Bianco Latte does too much. It’s loud and weird. Vanille Planifolia does too little. It’s expensive as hell for a skin scent. Neither of them layer well. I layer vanillas a *lot*, so finding that Goldilocks vanilla that complements other fragrances while also being easy to wear on its own is my goal. I can see Vanilla Haze not being enough for some people, but it’s great for me.

I can definitely see the comparison to Bianco Latte (although this doesn’t have as good performance). It has the same biscuity vanilla profile, but the opening is much more caramel. Probably the most realistic caramel I've smelled, borderline too sweet, but thankfully it settles down. The vanilla is not synthetic or cloying like you would find in many mass fragrances. It's creamy, comforting, and good alternative to Bianco Latte if you're looking for something a bit more affordable and wears more airy.

I received this fragrance in a Harvey nick’s sample veg and fell in love at first spray. I then hoarded it as it wasn’t available to buy and I didn’t want to use it all up. Fast forward a year and it’s readily available and it came up on My list of fragrances to visit so today was the day. I think this could be possibly be my favourite vanilla gourmand fragrance there’s just something quite intoxicating about it anfmd it lasts for several hours on my skin. Would defo consider a full bottle.

I think this perfume is underrated. It seems like a lot of people are judging it by what it reminds them of in other perfumes. I got this as a blind buy, and I don't regret it. To me it is absolutely great. The smell of vanilla isn't overwhelming but it's enough to be noticed. It opens up with a warm almost cake like smell and finishes with a soft smell of vanilla that lasts almost all day. I've had a few compliments wearing this and it feels good to be noticed for a wearing a nice perfume.

Vanilla Haze smells so similar to Dulce by Rosie Jane. It's a little less woody and chocolatey than Dulce and has a more "cold" vanilla ice cream smell. It's also slightly sweeter and richer than Dulce but less than Bianco Latte. If you're looking for the same scent profile as Vanilla Haze, Dulce is a way cheaper option that smells 95% similar. While Vanilla Haze smells pretty like a vanilla ice cream with waffle cone, you could get the same thing at Sephora for cheaper.

Loooove this. Sweet, fluffy, beautiful. A perfect non boring vanilla scent. Reminds me of Midsommar during childhood, I don't know what it is but it makes me nostalgic. My sample just ran out and I just had to order a full bottle. To me this isn"t similar to Bianco latte. I mean they are both vanilla scents, but other than that? Bianco latte is more like powdery vanilla in my nose, and Vanilla Haze is more.. milky?

This is what I wanted Bianco Latte to smell like. Vanilla, coconut, caramel dream, minus the burnt chemical smell that BL gives me. Vanilla Haze is delicious. Reminds me of a soft caramel drizzled over a creamy coffee on a crisp Fall day. It has an airy quality to it. Like when you catch something scrumptious on the wind. I highly recommend giving this a sniff. Great for the Fall/Winter seasons for sure.

Jesus these comments here are brutal. As a guy I personally find this fragrance very delicious I especially love the coconut in it. I don't find it synthetic at all, it's very powerful and I like the sprayer as it lets me control how much I spray. You only really need a little bit to get a very nice scent bubble. I have a large 100 plus collection and I can say this is a very enjoyable scent.

As a guy I don't care if this leans a bit feminine, I actually really enjoy this as I do enjoy gourmands. My favorite part is the coconut in this as it really elevates the vanilla. This is a perfume that you must not heavily spray on because I can understand some of the criticism of it being nauseating, you have to do half sprays and that should be enough after that it radiates very nicely.

Beautiful! It has similarities to Bianco Latte/Lattafa Eclaire, but this is somewhat colder, so it'd probably be a good gourmand for warmer weather. I wish I could smell the almond/coconut, but as it is it's too similar a scent profile for me to add it to my collection at the moment. Performance is really good. If it was a bit cheaper I'd probably buy this to replace Eclaire.

This is lovely, it's a toned down version of Bianco Latte, but a little bit more airy and fresh-y, less cloying. If you don't like excessive sweetness and can't stand Bianco Latte I think this is for you, it has a less dramatic sillage and projection while not being mediocre or running short. If you have Bianco Latte, I would not recommend buying this, you don't need both.

AT first it smelled a bit like a hair salon with an abrasive hair spray scent to it, but once it dried down it mellowed out into beautiful notes of cashmere and vanilla also got compliments on the first day of wearing!! the only downside is that the smell does not project very well and stays close to the skin

Oh my goodness this is SO DAMN GOOD. it’s such a different take on vanilla to the usual caramel or laconic vanillas. It’s a nutty VANILLA POD type vanilla. It’s so so damn good. There’s this flash of the mandarin too that doesn’t distract but weirdly uplifts the gourmandness of this scent. I loveeeeee it.

This is the perfect blend of coconut and vanilla! It’s rich, warm and sweet with an air of sophistication! Where Bianco Latte seemed flat, and a bit synthetic this has more depth. The warm amber base shines through. Fall and winter would be perfect to wear this gem. My new go to gourmand!

Lighter more wearable Bianco Latte. I love Bianco Latte but I can't wear it. It is too strong and too synthetic and gives me a headache. Vanilla Haze has a very similar profile but lighter and less opressive. It also has less of the plastic-synthetic opening of Bianco Latte for me.

Smells mostly like hazel and walnut, but with a sugary undertone (not really vanilla, more creme brulee). No mandarin or floral, but still nice. Doesn't really last long though, maybe 3 hours max. I use the sample for layering mostly since it doesn't have a lot of depth.

This smells like an oatmeal cookie on me. It's warm and sweet, but not too sweet. It's low sillage on me, but when people get close, they always compliment the way I smell. A bit pricey but I will probably buy it again just because I like it so much.

I absolutely adore this perfume. It smells like smoked creme brulee if that makes sense(?) It dries down to a nice woody vanilla on my skin with a hint of burned sugar but in the best way possible.

Smells like straight up vanilla ice cream on a waffle cone. So surprising that theres no cream or icecream note. Nice but not mind blowing given the price 3.5/5

Reminds me of a lighter By the fireplace

I bought this as a sample from twisted lily. When I first sprayed it on it's box, I LOVED the scent. It was so creamy, I could smell some coconut, and couldn't stop smelling the fluffy caramel in the dry down. I sprayed it on my skin first thing this morning. A very light coconut milk to start, which brings out the creaminess. Then I started getting small whiffs of the smallest bits of cinnamon, or some sort of warm spice. Maybe it was burnt sugar like on a creme brulee. Then the scent started to feel familiar - on me, this is exactly how Lataffa Eclair performs. The only difference I see between Eclair and Vanilla Haze is that Eclair pulls a bit more synthetic, while Vanilla Haze come across perfectly blended. I personally never got the hype behind Bianco Latte. On me, Bianco Latte is sharp, synthetic, and powdery. Makes me sad since the bottle is much cuter. The bottle of Lataffa is hideous and the only reason I haven't purchased. I like the simplicity of Vanilla Haze but for something $100 more than a perfume that smells / performs the same, it's hard to justify.. I'll probably end up buying it anyways. Lol. I just bought Hammersmith Tea & Biscuits so maybe I'll chill. Maybe not. To me, Vanilla Haze smells like, well, me. It's the type of fragrance that if it lingered in the elevator at work, I'd get a text saying "were you just in the elevator?". It smells cozy, soft, warm, inviting. I'd wear it to date night, to work, to bed, on a plane, on a roadtrip. It's a versatile fragrance that really encapsulates my love for gourmand!

I do not have much to add to what has already been stated. I was really looking forward to purchasing and wearing Vanilla Haze. I blind bought a full bottle. This stuff is not inexpensive at $145 USD x 50ml bottle. So, this is a moderate "like" for me but definitely not a love. To my nose, Vanilla Haze opens with lots 'n lots of coconut and floral, along with vanilla. And for many reasons, coconut is just not a fragrance note I prefer in perfumes. This fragrance develops and morphs into a buttery (more so than creamy), dusty, vanilla scent. I'm not sure what I'm missing but I do not detect hazelnuts, or caramel, or creme brûlée, or anything yummy and sweet. Over time, on my skin Vanilla Haze lands as a musky, slightly bitter, resinous vanilla scent. There's a repetitive note that doesn't quite sit right with me...not sure what it is but I experience the note as extremely sour. Not a fan and I'm kinda disappointed. Was really hoping I would love this fragrance. Will likely use what I have and never repurchase. EDITED TO ADD: So, this fragrance has grown on me a bit. I find it more appealing if I apply it sparingly. Someone stated, "This fragrance gives them a Blanche Bete vibe," which is very true. While Blanche Bete is all floral with tuberose, Vanilla Haze leans in that direction but less-so, with more vanilla and jasmine.

Testing Vanilla Haze from a 2 ml Fugazzi official sample. Without pulling my Bianco Latte bottle out to compare these two scents side by side, I feel like Vanilla Haze reminds me instantly of it. But a more subtle, subdued version of Bianco Latte, if you’re getting what I mean... It’s a very nice, delicious, sweet, powdery, sugary sweet perfume with some nutty, almondy, caramel, coconut facets in the background, with a soft, smooth cashmeran and a clean, delicate musk. I don’t get any jasmine or mandarin from Vanilla Haze... Would I recommend this scent for gourmand lovers?? Not really, because it’s weaker than Bianco Latte and it’s a bit more expensive, therefore I don’t think it’s worth the money. Also, the Fugazzi perfumes come in the most plain bottles, so there’s literally nothing about this to stand out from the rest of Bianco Latte inspired perfumes. The coconut milk is mostly detectable in the first few minutes and then it disappears into the overdose of vanilla and caramel. Lovely gourmand vanilla perfume, I can’t deny that, but there’s better and cheaper options on the market in my experience. Long story short, if you already have Bianco Latte or any of its many dupes, you don’t need Vanilla Haze! Which is also my case...

The most prominent notes are vanilla, caramel, and cinnamon sugar. This smells like walking past an Auntie Annie's at the mall, where they waft the doughy cinnamon sugar scent to lure in customers. It also smells like Cinnabon delights from Taco Bell. Especially the cream in the center. Toned down, more wearable Bianco Latte. Doesn't have the minty/ coumarin note that Bianco latte does. This one is smoother and creamier. No honey, the sweetness is purely from the vanilla. I prefer this to Bianco Latte for sure. That one is too strong for me. Despite smelling delicious, I feel like I would nauseate people by wearing Bianco Latte in public. It's also not like Dulce from By Rosie Jane, I don't like that one at all. It's so musky and has something "off" about it. I also didn’t like Escapade Gourmand. It was too almondy and almost apricotty to me. Reminiscent of cherry almost. I often go nose blind to Vanilla Haze very quickly but if I sniff my skin searching for it I’ll still get a headache. I’m not typically overly sensitive to scent so this is unfortunate. For some reason, I much prefer how it smells on clothing than on skin.

I ordered this on the notes list alone, never even having heard of the brand before. I'm a diehard fan of all things vanilla and gourmand, and the nutty and woody notes in the product description intrigued me. This is delicious and interesting, lighter and more complex than your basic sweet vanilla fragrance. I get heavy smoky vanilla in the opening, which quickly dries down to a slightly tangy, creamy all-seasons vanilla scent. I believe it's the almond and hazelnut that add a touch of sharpness and keep this from being a heavy blanket of sugar sweetness. Oddly, I also get quite a bit of clove from this on the dry-down, even though it's not listed, which reminds me a little of Velvet by Commodity. Vanilla Haze really is a nice and somewhat unusual fragrance. It only falls short in projection and longevity. All in all, one I'm glad I bought a large enough sample to enjoy for a few weeks, but unfortunately I probably won't be repurchasing it in full size.

I really love Angel Dust so I ordered a discovery box to explore more Fugazzi fragrances. I was really curious about this one, the notes are right up my alley. I am very happy that I did not blind buy it though, because although it is a nice fragrance, I did not like it as much as I thought I would. The opening leaned quite synthetic for me - which I don't really mind as long as the dry down is nice - but after that it mostly smelled like play dough on me. It is not offensive or anything, I just feel that there are so many better options out there for a similar scent profile. For example Lush's Turmeric Latte smells very similar on my skin, but without the synthetic play dough vibe. So out of the 2 I would always go for Turmeric Latte. It also has better longevity. (Fugazzi is also decent, TL is just a beast mode parfume on me.) I will use up my 2 ml sample because it is nice, but for me not full bottle worthy. So happy I did not blind buy!

I bought this perfume in September of 2025 as a blind purchase, as a friend told me it smelt like Bianco Latte but if she had an older sister (and naturally, I was intrigued and had to smell it.) Upon getting it I spritzed some on my hand and it smelt minty almost? Like walking into a pharmacy or a dental clinic minty. I tried giving it a second chance so I let it sit on my hand for a while, and unlike escapade gourmand which smells like a burnt crème brûlée, this smells like the centre of it. It did die down to a sweeter fragrance, but that sharp opening (most likely due to the mandarin and jasmine) threw me off. It is a nice fragrance, but I don’t see myself repurchasing it because of the hospital/dental office vibe it gives me.
