Armand Dupree Glam

Armand Dupree Glam is very nice! Would I say it is beautiful? No! It's delicious! The opening notes are not that great but it quickly settles into a delicious honey gourmand. Did I say honey? I sure did! There is definitely honey missing from the list of notes. The honey is so prevalent that I can't put the above notes in order as I smell them until they add the honey note to that list. In the opening I smell the floral/fruit which may be the sour they list. I personally do not smell sour at all. The honey quickly begins to make its presence. Within 30 mins, the floral/fruit begin to take a backseat to let the deep rich honey seep through. I would say during the heart note stage there is a mix of honey/floral/fruit all together and is deliciously sweet but not sickly/cloy. As it moves into the base note it turns into a delicious, oozy thick, warm, deep creamy honey with just barely there and I mean just ever ever so slightly hints of floral/fruit which (I feel) keeps the honey from being boring. Armand Dupree is very cozy at this stage and I could wear this to bed every night. I would spray this about 30 mins to an hour before bed so I am sniffing the cozy creamy honey and not the opening and heart notes. There may be a slight hint of oriental in the honey drydown but very very slight. Ok...call me selfish but this is not a perfume I would want to spray all over myself for others to enjoy. This is a spray that I want to spray only on my forearms and wrists so that I can bury my nose into and sniff myself to sleep. This is one of those perfumes that you just can't stop putting your nose to it. If I sprayed it all over I would miss out on being able to press my nose to it and taking in deep sniffs of this yummy fragrance. If you love honey fragrances, I think you will like this one. Especially the drydown. Mmmmmmm! Armand Dupree Glam is not easy to find in the US. I got mine off of ebay for a little of nothing. I personally think this is worth having in my collection. As I just got my 75ml bottle, I will be eventually searching out another bottle so not to run out but I won't pay a lot for it. $15-$20 maybe $30 tops and definitely not what it retails for $300 plus. No!No!No!No! Pigs will have wings before I pay that for Armand Dupree Glam! Yes, Armand Dupree Glam is a very nice fragrance worth having. I think I need to add that Armand Dupree Glam is one of those fragrances that you start craving for after a while. One of those you swap away then immediately regret, only to buy again because you realized that there's something in it you crave and need in your life. Yeah, one of those

Edit: I love this so much I just purchased another backup bottle. Also everytime I spray this from my bedroom my husband will yell from another room, "YOU SMELL NICE!" It's just lovely! I think that's all I need to say about this perfume.
