Matia

Matia it’s a special gem! It feels like stepping into a world of adventure. When I wear it, I feel energized and ready to take on the day. It has this wonderful warmth that wraps around me, making me feel both confident and intriguing. As it lingers, I notice how it evolves, keeping me curious and engaged. There’s a richness to it that feels special—like I’m wearing something truly unique. Matia makes me feel bold yet approachable, perfect for both casual outings and more elegant evenings. It’s quickly become one of my favorites, a fragrance that always sparks a little excitement whenever I wear it.

Matia is an amazing fragrance that is unique. It has cardamom to give it the spicyness, but I wouldn’t say it is a BOMB of cardamom. It is offset by ginger, and then a bit of powderiness from the violet starts to come in. I love this fragrance, it is so cozy. The patchouli is so well done here, it doesn’t smell old and it is blended so good with the leather. I don’t find any of the notes overpower one another, they are all balanced so well. Very comforting and creates a great scent bubble

I love this scent. I’m pretty sure it’s the combo of cardamom and amber that does it for me. I have the spray and the solid. Both are great, but one spritz of the spray is MUCH stronger and far more noticeable than any use of the solid. I recently put some on (spray version) and got into a car with a couple friends, and they both asked what smelled so good. And I just said, “It’s me!”

I get leather above all else in this fragrance, but not overwhelmingly so. I'm not a big fan of leather fragrances at all, but I find that I do like this one quite a bit. The ginger, cardamon, and other spices so a great job of balancing out the leather so that it doesn't dominate the scent profile. It smells to me like an old woodshop - wood shavings and leather tools with the scents of fragrance oil in the air. It's masculine without being aggressively filled with leather, wood, and smoke, and would definitely wear best in fall or winter for a date night.

Overdone, basic profile but done well. It's your typical shaving cream fragrance, a cool, spiced aloe-y blue leather. It's done well, it's just a snooze-fest. If you want to get a scent for a man in your life who colors inside the lines, this is a great (if overpriced) pick. Solid (8/10) but boring (-1 point). 7/10.

For the price-----I was expecting more... When you price fragrances at over $200 for less than 2oz, you better make it worthwhile and long lasting... But this is not the case for Matia. IT'S BASIC if you ask me... Spend your hard earned money on better... 4/10

Very masculine leaning frag. Spicy leather. This really smells like a run of the mill men’s fragrance but of a higher quality as it has decent longevity & sillage. It’s a good one imo.

This just smells like laundry musk and department-store blue men's fragrances to me.

I get more Incense than anything. It's ok, but fairly basic.

I have the soap, extrait and solid of Matia and I love all three of these. I tend to stay away from sweet gourmands and love to lean in on the deeper, woodier, sexier scents and this one hits the mark. It’s masculine in the sexiest way; I am a woman, but this scent emits this sort of image of a dimly lit, leather-filled bar where this femme fatale of a woman sits at stirring her old fashioned. Because it’s an extrait, you really only need a little bit so this bottle will last you forever. Love.

Leather leather leather! Department store leather and a restaurant next door that sells spice. I think i like it.
