Fantastic. Tried this from a sample, and while I liked F&R's Hatteras well enough, this was so much better. They successfully thread the needle between clean and musky without being either too soapy or too heavy. The opening is powdery and breezy/ozonic. I imagined stepping off a private plane wearing a suit and Italian sunglasses to spend the day at a beach resort. After about thirty minutes it morphed in a way that made it feel like the sun had set and it was time for a candlelight dinner. That's when it became a sweet musk with a hint of wood. This has a less youthful feel than Hatteras, and it's probably better for people late 20s and up. You need very little to get good projection but the longevity wasn't the best. I'd recommend it for afternoon to early evening for a date. I'm definitely considering buying some.

Fulton and Roark hit their description on the mark here: brisk, clean musk with a soft woodiness. I would argue that is does lean soapy for the first half hour of the lifetime of this musky scent, but overall it is indeed a very atmospheric, drifting musk scent. Clean, perfectly professional, and importantly pleasant, lovers of musks like I am will enjoy this. It is fresh, brisk, bright but soft. Powdery facets accompany the soft rosewood and cedar in the drydown. I get small hints of lavender absolute throughout this, perhaps providing that slightly powdery quality and the soft woodiness.

For me this is a spicy lemon verbena / lemongrass scent. It smells like a Muji store.

This one has a back-of-the-nose soapiness that turns me off. Not for me.

I keep getting bombed with ads for this product no matter where I go on the internet. What a haunting thing these ads can be. It's like PTSD or that crazy ex, but all virtual. But come on! It looks pretty unappealing, like something that does not smell good (this one only has 3 nondescript notes, including musk and cedar. Does that even qualify as Axe body-spray?) Reminds of these "entrepreneurial" types I know, the kind of suburbanite who moves to the city to sell soups, corporate birthday parties involving hide-and-go-seek for grown ups, bitcoin alternatives, or do it yourself DJ apps for your cell phone, whilst screaming on the phone non-stop from dusk till dawn in the most crazed and mind-shattering happy-yet-monotonous puppy voice imaginable. ("GIVE ME $$$$!!!!" they seem to shout in unison, a chorus of wasted privilege and poor business decisions. Avalanche of affluence and self assurance, wasted.) Rest at ease. They're only acting. They're all actors on the stage of life. As for this Niche-within-Niche of the solid cologne, late entrance into the game, how can they possibly insult us with the expectation that one would buy that? How could you spend the empire of cash on these online ads spaces to constantly assault me with your laughably terrible idea (how could you do that to YOURSELF, F&R?) We have one of the worst pandemics in American history taking place right now. Your product is neither priced fairly enough to warrant a mindless online boredom purchase in the vast swaths of this involuntary sabbatical, nor is it unique, interesting (not even meeting the minimum apparent standards of quality) enough to inspire that existential purchase of a perfume, just for the sake of having smelt it, experienced it, before one shuffles off this mortal coil. Thanks. But I guess my complaint will be in vain, shouted into that proverbial void. I guarantee the mere fact I visited this page and left this review will make seeing another of your expensive pop-up ads inevitable.

i purchased this solid to see for myself exactly how far a $210 per ounce solid would carry me. I apply to the temples, back of hands, wrist and back of back of neck. It is soft and subtle. It isn’t my favorite from their line up but it’s clean and that will suffice. It generally last around 4 hours for me. At the time of posting this review, Tybee can be purchased in a tin for $42 USD @ .2 oz. Ounce per Ounce it is the most expensive fragrance that I own. I will update how long this single tin last me while wearing it exclusively everyday until the tin is completely empty. Started 04-19-20 Update: applying to 5 spots of your body once per day, the $42 tin will last approximately 12 days. Today is the 29th of April and I can’t have more than a two day supply left in the tin.

Very unique fragrance, one of my favorites in my collection. Decent longevity on my skin; which most fragrances dont last on. They market it as "A brisk white musk accented with rosewood and cedar", I would concur, lots of cedar and musk.
