Basically I get a beautiful almondy and vaporous opening with a nice toasted basmati, passing between a lactonic fig-coconut which soon gives way to a sort of cold and raw green note that I can imagine as ivy. In the middle, intermittent woody whiffs, purple iris and sweet sandalwood follow. After about 4 hours only a thread of amber and soap remains on the skin. Clear, watery green with a sweet and powdery evolution in a relaxing way, and finely worked. The duration is medium-low if there is a drama and its calm sillage and sometimes intermittent.

Masterfully crafted scent. Very unique composition with the rice, heliotrope, vanilla and orris/iris working together to create a sweet lactonic scent. Close to gourmand, but not fully “edible ”. It is more complex than just to say it is a gourmand, as amber and wood are very present too. Grass and rice combo makes it smell as if it has a sweet milky fig in here at the initial spray, but fig is not listed. Although I could’ve sworn it is there. Smells comforting and decadent. Very feminine. Like a queen in a warm bath of milk. No drama to be found anywhere near this fragrance. Far from it. Calm and luxurious. One big downside of this beauty - for an extract concentration (and the steep price tag) the longevity was lacking. The sillage initially was good (few feet), then shrank to just above the skin scent within 1hr. Then lingered around for a couple more hours until it became a faint whiff of sweetened skin scent (had to put my nose right into my arm). By the end of 3hrs it was nearly all gone. Such a shame as this is beautiful and ingredients are top quality, for sure.

Surprisingly unique iris fragrance. Let’s say, this reminds me of the original formula of Dragonfly would be enhanced figgy or almondy heliotrope’s performance, instead of the rain note. The heliotrope in here is such a marvelous seriously. This has a certain sophistication and coziness. Butterly iris-rice combination matches a little ozonic grass accord. I should say, this is pricey and no any beast mode performance itself though, I’m really satisfied with this quality. You should be fallen in love.
