Cloud Reverie

if you love a clean girl scent, this one is definitely for you! it's exactly how i picture a cloud. so airy, slightly soapy, and very delicate. though there is a slight vanilla tinge, this one isn't a great performer by the most traditional sense of the word. it is so, so, so beautiful but it's not very loud (expectedly, for a cloud)! it's a perfect spring scent and i'll definitely be keeping it around in my collection, but it's not one of those scents that i get a "craving" to wear, i think. a very safe office fragrance, i'm so glad i tried it out! fwiw, it's lasting quite long on my skin!

This is the most beautiful modern aldehyde. It opens with a crisp, mineral chill before softening into a sunlit powdery iris and creamy vanilla. It’s an intimate, skin scent long lasting with very little projection. It feels like a ray of sunshine cutting through a cool mist. The vanilla and sugar add warmth, but are never foody. This feels personal and special. Not for those around you. It feels like trancendance. The new bottle design is also beautiful.

I love that this brand brings new ideas to the market, not creating new iterations of old things. That being said, almost all aspects of this fragrance feels “known” to me. It’s warm, cold, comforting, clean, unisex, and on and on. The iris and aldehydes are both balanced from leaning too mature or too clean. Id never have identified seaweed. It feels like wearing something I know and love while sitting on a cloud with my eyes closed ☁️💜

Clean, sweet vanilla cloud soap. Never thought I would like aldehydes in a fragrance. But this is just like how it’s described in marketing. Clean, sweet and fluffy. Actually gorgeous. The vanilla and sugar balance out the soapy aldehydes. So if you’re hesitant, as a vanilla and sweet perfume lover, this one is safe and unique. ☁️🫧

This fragrance is a pleasant surprise for me! There is a roundness to the scent. I love the soft clean uplifting scent. The smooth comfort is different. I'm not getting the negative facets discussed in other reviews on my skin. And have really enjoyed this fragrance sample.

sooo soft, cozy and cuddly. instantly loved it, so beautiful. smells and feels like a fluffy damp cloud. it's about as light and faint on skin as an actual cloud though :')

Little bit gimmicky for a powdery aldehydic fragrance. Does smell aquatic and fluffy at the same time but also get that grit feeling in my nose and throat I associate with powder. Something almost a little feminine here that makes me think light pink, light blue, white, girlish or infantile. Its also makes me think of when the big fluffy cloud are high overhead in the afternoon in the bright blue sky and theres something going on with the barometric pressure and post prandial blood sugar levels that makes you feel really light headed and sleepy. It’s those clouds.

Reminds me of a cool spring rain in a cottage garden near the sea. The soft floral notes waft up off the stone walkway, as the rain hits the cobblestone path , the ocean salt dances playfully on the breeze. Dry down more powdery with hints of vanilla, a little artificial, definitely a clean scent bordering on fabric softener, spring rain scent. I love the concept behind this, the actual scent is likable but not groundbreaking. Like a powdery clean musk, close to the skin scent. Great for layering over a more intense vanilla or oceanic fragrance.

It’s like sweet cotton candy but not too sweet. Something about it reminds me of Angel but way lighter, cleaner and powdery. It’s well balanced because the soapy and powdery notes prevent the cotton candy from becoming sickeningly sweet. Very unique and I want to keep wearing this sample to see if it’s full bottle worthy.

This is Clean's Skin without the nasty, overwhelming praline note and with synthetic soapiness that's supposed to be there. Very clean & very cold. I love a powdery, soapy sweet cloud. This projects a fair amount, but closer to the skin is where the sugar and vanilla radiate warmth and pull it all together. This is very pretty on me, goes well with my chemistry I guess. Not a safe blind buy, seems to be very polarizing!!!

I found this one to be primarily iris and vanilla on me. It’s light, airy, and feels uplifting. It definitely smells like what I would imagine a cloud to smell like. I could see this being very wearable on the right person. I didn’t love it, but also didn’t hate it. I get a bit of sweetness, but it’s not overpowering.

Ok, the opening is mosquito repellent. But it settles into soap. I am not getting any vanilla. It’s not a hate, it’s not a love, it doesn’t inspire passion in me one way or another.

I’m glad I got a sample. This is straight up public bathroom soap on my skin, and I usually love aldehydes, but this is disappointing.

This was unfortunately a blind buy fail for me. I should’ve read the reviews more because it leans so far into the powdery notes, I couldn’t pick anything else out of it. It took 3-4hrs of dry down before the sugar and vanilla notes settled in. There was no freshness to me, smelled very dated. Such a shame, I wanted to love it so much

I was disappointed in this. Hearing it to be “the new skin scent”. It was a little too powdery for my liking. It gives citrus powder. Just not for me. I’ll stick with my Clean Reserve Skin Intense.

The opening is definitely what I think a cloud would smell like. But it turns into a gross combination of musk and shampoo. This one is more art than something I would wear.

This is the smell of a cold baby wipe, fresh from a plastic container. Not bad or offensive, just not interesting.

Sweaty, salty musk with a touch of plastic vanilla. Not a scrubber, but definitely not pleasant.

Folks, I tried. I tried to wait out the brutally bad opening, but this is YUCKY. If it's a cloud, it's a cloud of hairspray, pee and vodka. In my partner's words, "something about the powder note is giving diaper". I put this on before a 13 hour flight and immediately scrubbed the living bejeezus out of myself as I think subjecting a plane of people to this would be a human rights violation.

Oh. This is medical soap & vodka. Cool.

I blind bought this because I have a long history of loving aldehydes Iris vanilla musk all of it! I am definitely not disappointed. This is a funny little number and it's hard to describe. I would say it's probably not a good blind buy. I love the whole glossier, fleur de Peau, sonic flower type stuff so this is right up my alley. This is gonna sound strange, but it's sort of like a outer space version of fleur de peau. It's definitely less powdery than that one, but the ozonic note gives it a more futuristic version of that one. It is sweet, but not sickeningly so because I can't stand really sweet scents. The sweet part is mostly at the beginning and not as much in the dry down. The dry down is my favorite part. It's just a powdered sugar dusted white mask with a violet in the background. The aldehydesare not as strong as a Chanel here, but they are definitely there.

Smells like sugar and plastic, but in a well-composed, intentional way. Like a dollhead tossed into a bag of granular sugar. Airy, clean and synthetic, but with the softly grainy "crunch" of what I'd imagine it'd feel like to bite into a sugar-cube. Fragrantica lists 'Aquatic notes, but the brand states 'Aquatic Blooms' which I feel is a bit more accurate to the smell. It isn't salty, briny ocean air, but wet, sheer flowers. The iris is present, but I'm not used to smelling it in this context. It's not buttery and smooth, but lightly musky and floral--it comes across like a violet note to me. Only had them once, but it smells like what I remember Choward's Violet candies tasting like. Not for me, but smells wonderful. I'll be spraying it over my bed on sunny mornings.

The aldehydes ruin this for me. And maybe the algae too? I didn't realize algae was in here. But yeah. The aldehydes givethis a very "humid" quality, which I guess can make sense for clouds? If you're looking for just a pretty interpretation of clouds, this isn't it. This is more literal (of course, I've never smelled a cloud, but this kind of smells like rain in soil). The bottle is so cute and I love the purple juice. But my like for this perfume ends there unfortunately

At first it seemed like a coconut-y, baby lotion type of scent. 10 minutes later it shifts to a slightly citrusy, soapy scent with something else that’s hard to pick out. After a couple of hours it’s a complete powder bomb. I really like this scent though! It’s very cozy and comforting. Honestly, it kind of reminds me of baby cologne (if you’ve ever smelled any). Ultimately, I’m not sure if other people will like this considering how powdery it leans.

I almost didn’t buy this due to the reviews on here but I’m glad I went for it anyways. If you like clean scents with a bit of sweetness then you’ll likely enjoy this. It does remind me of Clean Reserve Skin but without the sweet praline note. This is still sweet with vanilla but not nearly as sweet as Clean Reserve Skin (which I also love). But it still gives freshly showered your skin but better. This would be perfect for work or bed.

I wanted to love this because the notes sound right up my alley..... but unfortunately I totally get the baby wipe, clean diaper, bathroom soap, allegations.

Smells like a less sweet Flower L'Elixir by Kenzo. Definitely powdery.
