Wandering Rain

I really like this! It's unique enough to stand out amongst my fresh scents and the black tea gives it a little backbone. The dry down is very unisex in my opinion, quite fresh and almost marine. Much like Cloud Reverie, I'd say this is office-friendly and pretty non-offensive. I do not think this smells AT ALL like Merit Retrospect or Liis Studied (I own and wear both frequently), however I am not sure that I know of anything this smells similar too. I will have to come back. Very happy to have this in my collection and love the bottles.

To me this is the perfect, “my skin but better” scent for me. It’s very light and airy, definitely a good option for office, classroom, travel, etc. it’s not a heavy, deep musk, it’s fresh and clean smelling. It does have a slightly aquatic feel, the lotus comes through with that. The eucalyptus is pretty subdued but with that and the tea it does give that slightly fresh and green feel. Really nice understated but comforting and clean fragrance

I am not getting the notes individually, but rather get the overall blend of notes that read “rain.” Like sweeter, greener petrichor. Definitely smells spa-like. As if rain were re-imagined as clean and refreshing. Love it.

This is a really interesting fragrance. At different times in the wear I can pick out each of the various notes listed on the box, but it's a really hard scent to describe as a whole. In the opening it feels atmospheric and earthy on my skin in a way that reminds me of L'epoque Dreams and Nightmares. As it dries down, I get more of the floral and tea notes and I'm reminded of other floral tea fragrances like JLo's Still or Roja Serenity Blend. Not the same, but in the same family, although this one does feel more ozonic and rain-soaked. Like sipping an iced tea outside under your awning while it's raining, and you're surrounded by potted plants and a little garden pond nearby. I enjoy it more and more the longer it sits on my skin. Excellent rainy day scent. If you love a "pond fairy" vibe, but want to smell like a pond fairy in the rain, then this could definitely be for you.

Definitely unique and well executed. Sweet in an earthy kind of way that blooms in the heat and sort of melts as the day progresses. Perfect for casual daily use in warm weather. it really shines when you’re sweating and then others smell something pleasing that doesn’t read as perfume. I layer it with Fugazzi Angel Dust Extrait and its pepper has a grounding effect on the more aquatic/ozonic notes. Even If someone applies their nose to your skin, the way it blends with your own scent makes it difficult to pin down and I like that.

Really digging this one - I get the black tea right off the bat...warm and inviting. Then I get a burst of eucalyptus, violet leaves, mimosa, etc. Fragrantica is listing citrus, but there's no citrus in this one (based off the notes on the box). Oddly, the pear isn't showing up on my skin until several hours later...I get a musky pear at the base. It's really unique and enjoyable. Getting about 5-6 hours on skin.

I believe this would fall under the possibly unique category of Fluffy Green Fragrances. It's fluffy and cozy while remaining completely aquatic and leafy and bright. Honestly, well done, Future Society. This is unlike anything I've smelled before. Lasts about as long as you'd expect something in this category to last- 3, maybe 4 hours. Respray and float away.

this is definitely in the same vein as merit retrospect imo. if you already have it, i don’t think you need this but i do prefer wandering rain. it’s retrospect’s more unisex and interesting step sister. i’m glad i never pulled the trigger on a full size of merit—this is brighter, juicier, and less powdery. the longevity on this one is also better than cloud reverie and retrospect although i think this one is like half a step up from a skin scent. i find it creates a nice scent bubble and definitely projects more on me than your run of the mill skin musk

A very wet, green, spa like fragrance. Like you left a eucalyptus plant and a cup of tea near an open window during a rainstorm. The eucalyptus is strong right off the bat but it fades nicely overtime. Maybe a touch too ozonic in the dry down? I’m not sure yet. Reminds me of Elephant Sanctuary Edition by Zoologist

I do get the tea note and the lotus for sure. Not a lot of eucalyptus, just a hint in the background to keep it fresh. Very green, refreshing..a little citrus. It reminds me of DS&Durga Steamed Rainbow, not the same but similar. If you like unisex, aquatic, fresh fragrances then you may enjoy this.

This smells almost exactly like Mugler Aura to me, specifically the EDT. Which is nice because I love Aura, but I'm unlikely to purchase a full bottle because, duh, I already own the entire Aura line and its longevity and sillage is much better.
