This fragrance is very lovely. A perfect refresher for me when I have to leave early in the morning.

This is a whole new world for the senses.

I love this perfume so much, the second I sprayed it I received compliments from a colleague. The first time I sprayed this on my pulse points I could smell it the following morning when leaned forward/moved my neck, which was really impressive, and it pushed me to buy the full bottle. At first it smells like a solid bar of white soap but then on dry down the sweetness of the floral notes and maybe the amber and white musk shine through, though there is still trail of the soapiness which makes you feel very clean and light. It's a crowd pleaser for sure, but I guess on first spray those people who like oud or sweet scents would be confused as to why this is saleable lol. I would say it's pretty unisex though it might be more feminine leaning. I'm currently on the 6th hour of wear and I can still smell a cloud (albeit intimate) around me. I think this will be signature scent this summer. UPDATE: Be careful if you have an sensitive nose or stomach, lately I've been feeling a sickly nausea at the roof of my stomach from spraying this. Maybe I've associated this smell with something unpleasant but this is very loud, therefore I would advise using sparingly as it does last all day.

The opening is a bit different from the way it develops, so it's not linear. Opens fresh, pretty, green and dewy, almost reminds me of Au The Vert. Within twenty minutes it becomes far more unisex - quite rich, juicy with violet and basil leaf, a bitter edge of tobacco which adds sophistication, and a hazy sort of musk. There's definitely something here that reminds me of carrot seed but unless you've experienced that elsewhere it's hard to describe - bittersweet and rich, rooty (It reminds me a bit of Nirmal though Nirmal is more feminine). I think the composition is great. It's not a perfume that you'd wear to smell pretty but it has a very pleasing waft. I like it, I think it's cool, elegantly sensual and contemporary, it would suit men or women equally as it's unisex but not interpretable in the usual way as it's quite unusual. The ingredients suggest summer but it's probably wearable year-round.

White florals and herbal notes fighting for dominance. I offset it with altra skin to 'ground' the scent a bit. Smell is strong and sits forever, more than 2 sprays is headache territory, maybe that's why it feels so 'up in the air' - accurate choice of name. I do agree the profile *could* be labelled as old fashioned but wouldn't yet put this into granny category.

It's nice, but I'd give this to a grandma if I had the full size

Pretty, straightforward white floral blend with a bit of levity from some green and aquatic notes. I was hoping to get a more herbal/aromatic feel from the lemongrass and basil- but pretty much all I get is a bouquet of gardenia, jasmine and magnolia. No tobacco or amber in the base to my nose either:/ but it’s nice if you’re looking for a feminine, dewy white floral!

was excited for the white florals and fresh spices composition but ended up very disappointed. the spices (especially basil) are incredibly overpowering and you end up smelling as if you rolled around in a patch of dirt with herbs. for me it ended up as just basil perfume and not a fresh summer scent.

I managed to bag a bottle of this on an auction site and it smells absolutely nothing like I would have expected from the notes. Its a heady floral scent, I know its not listed but it reminds me of the smell of orange blossom drifting in the air in Spain in high summer when dusk begins. The jasmine is intense and clean, I wouldn't get bored of this...In the background is creamy gardenia...To my uneducated nose, its floral, sweet and yet green and juicy at the same time...the violet is subtle and I am expecting the amber to break through after this explosion of sweet floral blossom has subsided. It hasnt got the complexity of some niche perfumes, its powerful though, and not exactly initimate right now...but I would wear this for me...possibly for bed. It was bought on a whim, I adore jasmine and gardenia and violet. I am pleased!

I received a piece of paper sprayed with this fragrance as a bonus to my order of samples, i could smell it before i even opened the bubble mailer, suuuuuper strong. Unfortunately it went straight into the trash because i swear it smells exactly like one specific air refresher i often smell in public toilets. Very sharp and fresh, made my nose itch a bit. It might work great on actual skin but my first impression was not nice.

Le Labo Bergamote 22?! WTF?! Not at all!! You get exactly what's mentioned in the notes: It's very green, juicy; it's heavy on the jasmin, the fresh type not the skanky. It smells very pleasant. The dry down is a light, powdery amber mixed with dry tobacco; nothing sickening sweet here. Overall, it's well done, just not my thing.

I can't stomach the opening of this scent. It is a blast of white florals and the herbal notes only seem to further amplify this. It still has a freshness to it, but the overall profile is quite dated. My least favorite of the Gabar line. Everything else I would 100% wear/purchase.

smelt last night at a reading, someone sitting in front of me on the ground was wearing it. made the reading experience better, think I laughed more than I would have. reminds me of something childlike- coming home on the last day of school for spring break, everything's in bloom.

Really disappointed with this one. From what I saw online I was expecting dewy floral pond fairy but what I get is domestos bathroom cleaning products that turns into a basic white floral after a while

The green herbs in this smell funky to me, I would not wear this as a perfume. Out of the 3 in Gabar’s discovery set, Ground was my favourite and this one was my least favourite

Not tooo crazy about opening notes but the dry down is nice the white musk is skin-like so it’s like post-bath soapiness

This is not for me. Very fresh and spicy. Heavy gardenia and gives me a headache.
