A great blend of lavender, aldehydes, florals, leather, mosses and musky notes. Smells classy, soapy, warm and cool, slightly bitter, smoky, dark, upscale and comforting. Very good alternative to the well known 70s and 80s heavy hitters. Development on skin with the body heat is amazing and long lasting even though it is an eau de cologne. A real hidden beauty this one!

I love it, pretty oldschool and performs super good! very affordable price. Soapy oldschool gentleman's scent with a slight hint of dustyness. the bodywash is perfect too, very strong smelling and rich. one of my all time fav. cheapies but you have to love oldschool! cheers Josh

Very heavy, traditional cologne for men 40+ First impression of perfume testing is that someone attempt to mix two or more different fragrances in one bottle. A base of lavender, leather and mossy notes is quiet boring. Do not overspray! Overspraying causes a mothball note

So,again,this frag is very dark,dry,vegetal,very 70's style,powerful and unapologetic,not an easy scent to wear nowadays,i know that there is a renaissance of old style perfumes,but this is too much,at least in my country.Not an expensive item.

G-Man is made by the large cosmetic firm Juvena, in Switzerland, and retails for about USD 50 in the country, discounted to 30 if you look, and retails for about 20 USD in Europe. Somehow an entity called "TROLL COSMETICS" is implicated. Funny! The bottle and packaging are old fashioned, simple, and attractive. The bottle is NOT opaque black. Holding it to a light bulb reveals that it is very dark dark violet and one can dimly see the bulb through the bottle. The top doesn't smell like any cologne I know. It is aromatic and has a cold and creamy aspect. It smells like something I might have smelled as a child - cleaning products? Medicine? Aftershave? It's not a barber shop smell, either. This fragrance is quite odd. I wish I could smell an original bottle. Every fragrance above in "This perfume reminds me of" and "people who like this" is a better fragrance and more satisfying and complete fragrance but those are some great fragrances listed! This isn't bad, but it's not that good, rather has novelty value.

I tested it , and I kind of like it for it what it is .. a really good strong oldschool `ish type of powerhouse. Very aromatic , very dense and strong in it`s herbal and dark flowery facettes . It`s like going crazy with a Lawnmower in your Grandpas Garden full of flowers and bushes , becouse he pissed you off somehow ;) - joking, but true .. When i smelled it first it reminded me on Davidoff Zino a much lot lot .. I mean , yes ! They are brothers in arms so to say. Why not .. you want to be strong and confident to wear this nowadays , or a guy like me .. in your 30`s and 40`s to really pull this off .. you wear this concoction for you .. not for others.. so you should be aware of that : When you can`t wear it .. it wears you .. difficult nowadys, but nice .. Carpenter is signing off ...
