Golden Delicious

This scent is kind of strange and I'm still trying to decide what I think of it. Right from the start, I was overwhelmed by a lemon/lime cleaner kind of smell that threw me for a loop. In the next minute or so, an apple scent began to come through in the form of a crisp walk through an orchard....I swore I could smell the leaves of the apple trees and a little bit of damp earth...very fresh. Over the next few minutes, the Golden Delicious really shone through and the scent grew warmer and sweeter also. A Golden Delicious apple has a very distinct scent ( unlike other apples) I think it was captured very accurately although a bit cloying and chemical.Hmmmm is what I think.

When I seen the packaging I thought the sent was going to be green apple. The packaging is misleading. This smells as if it has some kind of melon in it so I was surprised to see there wasn't any. It must be the golden apple scent that is reminding me of melon. So over all I smell melon w/a light hint of apple. I don't smell any citrus at all. But meyer lemon is more on the sweet side than tart. I haven't timed it yet but it doesn't seem to last long on my skin. I wish it did.

i got this today and i will probably never buy from this line again.i was expecting a crisp green apple with some lime and vanilla at the top.i got a thin artificial lime scent followed by a powdery floral.it gets less offensive as it fades but i dislike it very much and will be selling or trading it.message me if interested.

I found this to be very close to the DKNY Golden Delioucs scent. For me it was a headache causer unfortunately and I had to give it away.

I get all green apple from this scent.. the key lime doesn't come out on me at all. I smell all Green Delicious Apple.. very much a good thing. Infact the DKNY Delicious series, I would think those fragrances would smell more like this one because this is where I smell true apple. I have the nina ricci apple scent and several of the dkny but this frag definetely stands out if you want a true apple scent, but that is just my opinion. For some reason that is the note that comes out most on my skin so it is probably different on other people. Out of Gale Hayman scents I think I like So Delicious the best, but this one is definetely pretty nice. I find it actually pairs nice with a spicey oriental to kind of balance out with other notes and bring in a sense of gourmand. Alone I kind of find it a bit dull cause I don't like smelling like straight up apple

It is light and playful. I would suggest this fragrance for casual wear. There is considerable difference between the fragrance as sniffed through the bottle compared to when it is applied to the skin. From the bottle it is your average floral fruity fragrance which is inclined toward being citrus. Once applied however, it smells at the beginning like key lime pie and gradually settles to a custard pudding dry down. Yum Yum, it is more than a mere Olfactory experience, it invokes your culinary senses too. For this reason i think it would better described as a Floral Fruity Gourmand.

This is not a good scent to my nose at all! I was expecting a good hearty green apple scent to this but nothing like that comes through on this. A slight, ever so slight green apple and no solid body to this scent and it made me put this in the closet and forget about it FOREVER! I do not like any of the Gale Haymen scents at all. I can barely stand Delicious Feelings.
