So Delicious Women

I first got Delicious Cotton Candy and I love it. I wanted to explore more of her scents. I saw this was from the 90's but I still wanted to get it as I love the notes. I got it for a very reasonable price and love it! I see there has been many years before this review. I grew up in the 90's so anything from back then I want to try. With the notes this was a safe blind buy. As rose and sandalwood are 2 of my favorite notes. This opens with the white floral and citrus to me at first. The citrus stays while this changes. The rose changes from lipstick to a sweet clean rose, or delicate for lack of a better term. I do get berry notes from this?? Even though they aren't there. That's only with the initial spritz after that it drys down to a lovely powdery but in a good way sandalwood and rose with a hint of incense. I love it! It's a perfect transition to cold weather or evening wear. I prefer when both are cooler but it's a great scent not like I thought it would be. It's simple but not understated it makes you want to get closer to smell it. Super happy I could get this. They're not that many of the So Delicious available more of the just Delicious. I really like the scents from Gayle Hayman and am waiting for my Delicious Vanilla.

I bought this scent on first trip to Vegas. It has nice berry undertone but maintains an air of demure that is quite tantalizing. Gale Hayman's scents are not for the faint of heart. You must WEAR them or they will certainly wear you. This is favorite winter scent. My bottle is getting low but Charming Charlie has a scent called "Lace Noir" that is a similar vibe without as much provocative maturity.

This is a gorgeous perfume! So Delicious it certainly is. Beautiful jasmine, sweet and alluring, and rich lush rose, meltingly soft sandalwood, and a little sweet tang of mandarine, make it a perfect delight. I love it. And the bottle is so cute and adorable!!!

I purchased this scent a few weeks ago along with a few of the others and it's a great evening scent. Also this one and the others are great to wear day to day when you want to wear your more expensive perfumes in the evenings. Great scent for a small price :)

Hi Sky! It resembles Must and Venice vintage a little bit, but a more 'girlie' version of those two. Where Venice is the Grand Dame, this one is the Grand Dame when she goes out for a walk. :-)

I also pick up a berry undertone as others have noted but it is not sweet though still delectable. Actually, it smells more like cherries to me, though I also agree with another reviewer that this scent is in no fruity floral or gourmand. The citrus stands out and stays throughout most of the life of the scent. It adds a spicy accord. There is a jammy lipstick rose in this scent that I just adore. Really pretty and the berry note actually accentuates it and brings it to the forefront. The jasmine is soft, clean, and clear. The sandalwood dry down is almost creamy and there is a hint of incense in the mix. Silage and projection are fantastic though in no way a beast. You will not offend anyone wearing this scent and it would be perfectly appropriate for all occasions and situations. This is a firm like for me right now but has the potential to become a love. Best yet, it's really reasonably priced.

Oh wow! Finally got this one in the mail and it is so gorgeous. Doesn't smell dated or typical in the least. In fact it smells Deep Red and very Hypnotic (pun definately intended). So delicious picks up where Deep Red left off IMHO! It is sweet, red and spicey minus an artificial and banal fruity edge. It also resembles Hypnotic Poison in that it reminds you of a spiced rootbeer or licorice. Overall, it is lush, sexy and wonderfully longlasting. The best part is that I only paid $12.49 for this treasure thanks to Perfumania.com's 50% off winter clearance!!! ;'D Bottomline: If you like Hypnotic Posion but can't afford it or think it smells like Playdough then this one may be for you or if you like Hugo Boss Deep Red but feel as though it is too simple, plain or artificial then this one is DEFINATELY for you. Just try it ladies!! For thr price you really can't go wrong. ;')

Oh, this reminds me so much of another scent...one that I can't put my finger on at present. How infuriating! Anyway, SDW is definitely worth a try...it is warm, smooth & rosey like a mix between Max Mara (orangey) & Black XS (rosey). The jasmine is sweeter, but there is a bitter-leaf note that mingles with the mandarin peel keeping it edgey, not tacky. It is like a good liqueur & very likable. A well-made, womanly perfume...to my mind it is less floral & has a light fruity-oriental feel with a musky base.....it has a strong link to Deep Red.

I can smell all the notes in this fragrance but well mixed together. Opens sweet and warm, with candied mandarin orange (which I normally don't like too much)and jasmine and settles down softer with the rose and the sandalwood. A good scent for fall and summer, will see how it'll be in the cold of the winter. My only complaint is that I wished it lasted longer (on average 4hrs on my skin, a little bit more if the weather it's not too hot). Or maybe is my nose that gets used to it.

This scent was a bit difficult for me. I had days on which I liked it and days on which I found it cheap smelling. It's an inexpensive scent and rather moderate. You can't overdo it. It has something delicious too it, but is not really a gourmand scent. I like good white flowers scents. This one is a moderate white flower scent, I would say.

Okay this fume rates a "love" in my book. It not only smells wonderful, but has wonderful staying powers. This is a ten in my book. It smells much more expensive than it is and I love the bottle.

I am so glad that Fragrantica has added these fragrances to their site. So Delicious is a lovely perfume, soft jasmine mostly with a touch of sandalwood. Perfect for warm days and nights.

Rich florals with some patchouli, a berry accord, lots of sandalwood, some orange. An evening fragrance for a woman who knows what she wants and who she is. Assertive and alluring.

I went to Perfumania and was indecisive about what scent to wear/buy. The sales lady reccomended this scent and I was hooked. It smells wonderful on me and lasts a long time. My children love the way it makes mommy smell. Not overpowering/light scent. Can wear this day/night. The price will not put a dent in your budget either. SO I will now be buying more from here.

So delicious perfume is just as it is called, delicious. I don't think anyone could not like this because there is no offputting notes in this, it's just downright good. It's not cloying, decent staying power, the notes are blended perfectly. It's just a good scent. Worth grabbing for the price

ahh I wore this the other day and got so many compliments! I want to say also from my last review this reminds me of dr. pepper in a good way try it!

This perfume is disgusting and smells very cheap. I don't know what's up with these poetic descriptions c'mon ppl you gotta be real.
