A Demi-Mot

It's a lovely soft, cuddly scent. It sends me back in time to being a small child again and receiving a hug from my always impeccably turned out Gran. I never imagined there could be a cuddly, warm powdery scent with tuberose the lead note! It defies logic 🤣 There is definitely a big fluffy fluff of mimosa in here. It's backed with amber warmth and luscious rose. The neroli is harder to pick out but yes it's there. This is quite a well blended scent. I've got to say I actually prefer it to Champs Eleese. I like the amber warmth. It's a shame the mimosa wains so quickly though. The scent becomes a bit more about neroli and amber from 15 mins onwards. It's a comforting scent. A hard to dislike scent. I get good longevity but the sillage retracts back to arms length quite quickly. For most of the timeline it's a skin scent on me.

First blast of oversweet yellow flowers, a warm powdery mimosa with a fruity banana-like ylang ylang in the background. Sweet but the florals are not suffocating. Not exactly a juvenile young woman's scent but also not cliché powersuit overbeating floral either.. a happy medium. Feminine and best for cooler weather.

I have this in Parfum since a while. I bought it in Grasse and liked it on the spot. Once at home I was not so happy anymore. My bottle is still full. It's too strong for me, but the real problem is mimosa. It's a beautiful scent, really elegant and a little bit old-fashioned in a positive way. It smells like juicy flowers, over feminine and sophisticated without being too heavy. I like it. The notes are just beautiful and they're my like minus the mimosa. Anything with strong mimosa gives me instant headache.

Very sweet, yet still fresh. The opening is fantastic, and on my skin it's the orange blossom that stans out at first sniff. When the mimosa comes to play, the composition sweetens. The sillar is quite heavy and it last forever on my skin. I find it works better in colder weather.

I like this perfume but it isn`t one for daytime use in my opinion. It reminds me so much of Alien even though the notes in it are supposed to be entirely different. Love it or hate it, I reckon there`s no inbetween with this.

331 I don’t find this much like Poeme, which is richer and more complex. There is some similarity, like mimosa, the fresh floral watery note, and ylang creaminess, but this is much more diluted down here, with no fruit, it’s just simpler. This “parfum” version was more like edt and had a roughness to it (a kind of dry dusty chemical undertone). Like dryer sheets or detergent. Otherwise, it opens as a tart sweet creamy yellow floral with a hint of fresh watery note (like magnolia, imagine it’s mimosa, ylang). It’s mild in strength and projection. A similar version of this, though stronger on creamy banana ylang and vanilla and no watery note, is Hansa Yellow by Dsh. Unfortunately Hansa yellow is weak projecting but deliciously beautiful. 7/10-Overall not bad, just expected more from this. Would not repurchase.

Not my kind of juice. It is a nice scent and in my opinion rather well balanced. But personally I was searching for a mimosa of the kind you'd find in Jo Malone's Mimosa cardamom. The mimosa in here is quite different and not at all as loud as I prefer. Neither does the tuberose stand out which could have been a saver to my taste. Both the mimosa and the tuberose is too me on the same level of intensity as the rose and the ylang, and I prefer my ylang more in the background and a slightly more dewy fresh rose than here.

Beautiful perfume! Tried it in Grass Galimard shop first, I asked for something with the honey scent and Margareta suggested A Demi Moi, explaining that actually it's an orange blossom which smells as honey. She presented me a small sample and I was wearing it through the whole trip on Riviera, loved it and got it in Galimard shop in Ezze. Back to rainy Vancouver and enjoy it so much in this cool and rainy weather. It'a a real juice, warm, honey-caramel sweet fragrance, so comforting. You need just a bit of it around your body points and I found it layers well with the coconut oil used as body moisturizer.

Not bad, but to my nose, a rudimentary attempt at recreating Guerlain’s Champs Élysées. Neither are really my style of fragrance, but nevertheless not unpleasant.

I tested this scent and out of all the notes the one that stood the most was the mimosa. Moppety is right. This does remind me of Champs Elysees too.
